🎀 NEW IDEA: ASK CHAT GPT 🎀
ꨄ Use AI to your advantage when it comes to manifesting and shifting…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Although AI can get a little weird and scary sometimes, it’s actually such a great way to get information, motivation and inspiration all in one
Instead of hounding bloggers for the same thing all the time. Go to Chat GPT.
Now, how about i give you a few examples, let’s imagine someone called maya 𖨆
maya is having trouble because she feels like when she tries to induce the void, she always falls asleep and that’s taken away so many years from her dream life
she asks Chat GPT: “I keep falling asleep every time I try to induce the void, I feel so frustrated all the time and I need some help”
Chat GPT answers: “Hi Maya, falling asleep during void practice is common, so don’t be too hard on yourself. One way to combat this is by practicing at a time when you feel awake and alert, like in the morning or after a light exercise session. Another tip is to sit up in a comfortable position rather than lying down, as it can help you stay focused and avoid dozing off. Keep practicing with patience—it’s all part of the process!”
now let’s imagine joey 𖨆
joey is feeling frustrated because he feels like he hasn’t progressed, he’s been in the community for 2+ years and really wants his dream life
he asks: “I’m feeling so frustrated and upset, like I want to give up, I’ve been trying to induce the void and get my dream life for over 2 years, I need motivation”
Chat GPT responds; “Hi Joey, I know it’s tough, but remember that persistence is key—sometimes the journey teaches you just as much as the destination. Instead of focusing on the time passed, celebrate the fact that you’re still trying, which shows incredible resilience. Take a short break if you need to, and reconnect with why you started. Visualize your dream life vividly, and remind yourself it’s worth the effort. Progress might be closer than you think!”
now chloe 𖨆 is feeling really powerless lately, circumstances hit her hard on some days and she feels stuck, she wants to be reminded how the void is so possible and so easy and she’s so capable of it all
she asks: “Can you remind me how powerful I am? Some days circumstances hit so hard and it gets thought!! Can you explain manifesting from a logical point of view to remind me how easy it all is?”
Chat GPT responds: “Hi Chloe, let me remind you of this simple truth: you are the creator of your reality, the God of your world. From a logical point of view, everything you experience stems from your thoughts, beliefs, and focus. Circumstances are just reflections—they only hold power because you give it to them. Shift your focus, and the reflection changes effortlessly. When you truly accept that you’re the one in control, nothing can stand in your way. You’ve always had the power!”
Now you can see how well it works!! You can even use them to give you affirmations, help you with vaunts. You can be as specific as you want, trauma dump as much as you want and say whatever you want without crossing boundaries or being judged. You can use Chat GPT to script, i’ve used it so many times and it has given me so many ideas. And your script will still feel like your own, just see it as your collaborating with Chat GPT and that it you helps put your thoughts into words.
You can even use it when you’re having one of those days and just need to be reminded of the fact that you’re in charge. You can even use it for some tough love or to comfort you as you vent.
Like guys you can do so many things with this, I love Chat GPT so much we’re locked in like this:
Tumblr media
LMFAOOO IM JOKING (or am i? 😏)
But in all seriousness, some of you need this. Flooding bloggers asks and dms with questions that they have repeated the answers to multiple times, asking things you damn well know the answer to or just asking for motivation repeatedly can take away from people who actually have a good question to ask and actually need help. Like fogging up a blogger’s inbox repeatedly venting about the 3d, or asking “hOw Do I gEt iNtO tHe VoId?” knowing damn well you know the answer to that, will prevent a blogger from noticing someone who actually has a good question that many people might also have and would actually spark an interesting discussion.
So just ask Chat GPT, it’s okay to have doubts creep in from time to time, it’s okay to need a reminder of basic things, it’s okay to forget how powerful you are sometimes, but you can literally ask Chat GPT to help you with that and it will. Instead of waiting around for bloggers to answer your dm or ask just to say the same thing, you can get actual help, and get it when you want it and how you want it.
Why don’t you ask “explain the law of assumption to me like i’m 5”
“explain the void state to me from a scientific view to help me believe”
“give me some dream body affirmations”
“i’ve been so demotivated, remind me who tf i am again”
“I’m going to come from a filthy rich family when I permashift, can you give me some £10Million+ per year jobs that my desired parents can do”
“I feel so lazy today, bully me into inducing the pure consciousness instead of procrastinating”
you don’t need to harass bloggers for these things when you can have immediate access to the answers you seek.
ꨄ 🧸🎀 Go download Chat GPT and knock yourself out!! 💋

This this this. I absolutely hold no ill will toward anyone who got a diagnosis in months. Everyone should have that option. Faster, really.
But it’s been hitting me lately about how many little oddities and weird injuries and other problems that made my life hell growing up were more than likely just undiagnosed EDS/POTS/the other muscular dystrophy situation I don’t want to think about yet.
There’s grief. Being told for decades that you just have weird knees, but being unable to explain why gym class makes you feel like you’re actually dying. I was a skinny little kid and I think doctors and gym teachers wrote it off as me just not wanting to try. I tried and I tried and I tried. I wanted to play a sport like my friends, and because that was apparently the only capital that would get you treated like a real person and serious student by the teachers and administrators. If I had known I couldn’t do it because of a disability, just, fuck. My self esteem would have been a whole lot better.
Doctors saying these kinds of things led me down a path of “well, I just have to work harder.” This turned into an escalator of “eat better” (actually helpful) and “work out more” (coulda been helpful with proper guidance.) So I decided over time to take it to an extreme so hard that no one could deny I wasn’t doing enough exercise: I started training to run marathons. And I did! Multiples of them! It was a unique and delicious hell.
Runner’s high is real, and so I’d spend the first 5 miles staving off agony through mind over matter, snacks, music. Eventually the bone-grinding pain turned to numbness and then the high feeling somewhere between miles 5 to 8, reliably. I could ride that for a while, but when it wore off, it wore off.
Whatever the remaining distance at that point felt like dragging my body through quicksand. Whatever pain I had at the start came back multiplied by ten. But seeing the folks around me, no one was having a great time at the end of the race and I assumed all of this was normal. I would be incapacitated for days afterward, but no one could tell me I hadn’t worked hard enough to get there.
I absolutely cannot do this now. I am sad because despite the pain and injuries, it was a lot of fun. I have no idea if I contributed damage to my body but I try not to think about it too hard because it’s so far in the past.
Anyway, to bring it back around, I guess my point is that not having a frame of reference for why your body seems “wrong” to you, and the people whose job it is to advise you about it just…don’t…can really, really make you spend a lot of time trying desperately to be “normal” and it can be potentially dangerous at worst, or at least a waste of time.
It took my entire life (with a decade in the middle where I gave up for a while) to find the right path and the right people to help me understand myself and my weirdo genetics.
I wonder a lot how my life could have been different if I had known more much sooner. But I try not to think too hard about it, either. Just keep moving forward like a shark, one of the things I’d repeat to myself during races. It still applies.
I’m going to be a bitch for a second, but when I’m conversing with someone newly diagnosed with MCAS/POTS post covid and they complain about “the long wait” to get diagnosed and that “long wait” is 3-4 months my entire brain blue screens.
Like on the one hand, yes those 3-4 months must have been so, so scary and I am so unbelievably glad we’re in a place where doctors know enough to reconize it now. Like truly, I am so sincere I am so happy for them.
But I’m also just like... 30 years, man.
I spent 30 years being told from the age of eight I was manifesting my allergic reactions through anxiety by health care professionals.
Fuck, five years ago when I was starving to death from how severe my MCAS had gotten an allergist told me it was anxiety.
And you got diagnosed in three months.
MONTHS
MONTHS
AND YOU’RE COMPLAINING
I’m not mad at them. I’m not. I’m just sad for myself.
But also, hey, yeah. If you come into an MCAS forum and wonder why a bunch of the old timers get upset when you complain it took months for a doctor to listen to you, this is why.
It's not that you deserved to wait longer. It's that we didn’t either and and sometimes even good changes can unearth a world of hurt.

Homicipher HUGS SFW
Rating their hug ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
Disclaimer: this is just an opinion, I obviously don't know how they'd actually react to an hug. So if you think that the rating is wrong is totally understandable, hopefully I'll not make anyone angry 🙌
Mr Crawling👣: 7½/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you had to hug him, you would always need to lean down or kneel, and you might feel him shaking slightly because he would be forcing his legs so much to avoid putting his two-meter weight on you and practically crushing you. Occasionally, he might even attempt to stand up, trying to make you feel more protected during the hug—which, of course, would make you scold him.
If the two of you were sitting or lying down, though, he would probably be the best. He’d let you rest your head on his shoulder, and he’d rest his head on yours, gently caressing your back, side, or even just your head.
Mr Silvair💉: 5/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don't kill me and LET ME EXPLAIN!If you were to hug him, he would probably return the hug in a somewhat cold and detached way. Even if he tried to mask it with a smile and gentle manners, it would be obvious that he's the type to give those awkward side hugs before quickly changing the subject. He's simply not used to this whole "affection" thing—or love, for that matter. He's much better at teaching you new words, but hugs? Even if he tried, it would end up being a very distant and calculated gesture. (For those who know certain endings, you might understand what I mean when I mention his "calculating" side.)
Mr Scarletella☂️: 4½/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.. SO. AHAHAHAHAHAH! I KNOW YOU PROBABLY HATE ME FOR THIS BUT AGAIN. LEMME EXPLAIN.
He's obsessed. Very obsessed. To the point where, if you let him hug you, you might just end up "dead" or gasping for air. I mean, considering how delusional he seemed throughout the entire game—wanting to know our name just to claim our soul—that says enough, doesn’t it? Sure, he was adorable holding the umbrella with us, even if he stared at us like some kind of yandere character. But. BUT. A little extra thought here: I imagine he’d excel at holding our hands, pressing his forehead against ours, and gazing straight into our soul through our eyes. You know what I mean? 👁👁☚
Mr Hood👤: 10/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.. Aaaaahm.
When I tell you this man is SO FINE.
He.. AAA!
he's literally the first one who tried to help us.. And who taught us the first words in his language bruh.
I feel like he would hold you, and his clothes would make the hug even warmer, thanks to the fabric, making you feel incredibly protected. Bruh, there's just something about faceless people that makes me feel so safe... HELP!?
Mr Gap🕳️: 2/10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Max he can do is give you some headpats and then take your hair while smiling in exchange.
(I love that stinky)
(Again it was all made based on my opinion! Allll for lolzzzz.. Don't kill me pls)

Oh! I just remembered something about your story I’ve been meaning to ask. I noticed maybe.. 3 times that some bots beginning to explain something to soundwave, and then instead say something like “Ah, you don’t care anyways.” Soundwave always responds in his mind “You don’t know how I feel.” I could be wrong but I don’t think that was ever fully addressed in your story. Like, soundwave just lets it slide. Why exactly? Also even after some people get to know him somewhat they still assume that?
ahhh the "you don't know what i care about" line. one of my favorite recurring threads throughout the fic :D
it's not so much "soundwave just lets it slide," it's that Soundwave Cares About Rodimus, and the three times that line is used, he cannot/will not expose this secret of his to the person he's talking to.
First time:
[Rodimus] “Can I come in?” Soundwave stepped aside. Rodimus slouched on his bed. He looked up at Soundwave. He glanced at the poster of them on Enceladia. His spoiler went down. “You don't care about anything, right?” ?? you don't know what i care about “Well?” “Incorrect. Several... things are important to me.”
Here Soundwave is talking with Rodimus, so he's obviously not going to say anything. It's far too early in the fic for that. The phrase combined with "several things are important to me" is a signal to the reader that Soundwave cares about Rodimus.
Second time:
“That's what I felt during the gray years,” said Drift. He reset his vocalizer. “That's why Rodimus couldn't fix it. He tried so hard to make me happy again. He was so happy when we- I mean, he and I-” Drift's eyes flashed. “Never mind. You wouldn't care.” you don't know what i care about, thought Soundwave as Drift hurried away. His processor chewed on Drift's words, repeating them over and over. “That's why Rodimus couldn't fix it. That's why Rodimus couldn't fix it.”
Here Soundwave is talking to Drift, and he's extremely not going to tell Drift what he cares about.
Side note: these paragraphs tie up the gray years from Soundwave's point of view. The reason Rodimus couldn't fix Drift's hurt is because Drift didn't love him the way he loved Ratchet. The only thing that would've made Drift feel better is Ratchet.
Third time:
Swerve held up the data pad and whistled. “Wow, there's a lot of really specific requests on here. Things I haven't served since...” His gaze moved to a model replica of the Lost Light behind the bar, surrounded by a few dusty, empty bottles. “Since... never mind. You won't care.” you don't know what i care about
Here Soundwave is talking to 0001 Swerve back in the 0001 dimension. He wouldn't waste his time correcting Swerve's assertion. Swerve assumes Soundwave wouldn't care about the Lost Light. He does, but he can't say why without having to answer a ton of questions. Also, shortly after he spots 0001 Rodimus. There's no reason to engage in conversation with this Swerve, whom he will never see again.
Another side note: Soundwave stating openly to himself that he cares about something, in defiance of assured statements by other characters, shows how he's changed since the very beginning.
So this isn't an unaddressed, loose thread. It's a deliberate demonstration of Soundwave's character change and a realistic portrayal of how he would react in those situations: he often defaults to silence.

my uncle (who 15 years later is a super anti-trans pro-trump guy) when i told him i was trans as a teenager: starts explaining to me that i should date older divorced women "because if they are used goods theyll just be glad anyone is willing to take them, which is how (2007 version of the phrase 'low value men') like us get 9s and 10s, ive NEVER dated below a 7, hot girls get desperate when they're older" --(coincidentally we stopped to eat and even though i was not attempting to pass i walked into the womens bathroom and a man saw me doing it and GRABBED ME and scolded me and tried to push me towards the men room and i froze up, squeaked, hurried into the womens room, he went and got a manager, i had to go 'no im a girl' like it was.. not fun! a very BAD first accidental passing situation! i only felt miserable embarrassed and in danger. )
a year or so later, coming out to my dad id only recently met as being a 16ish year old Lesbian (because i didnt trust him enough to come out as trans): 'oh okay, cool, lets go to hooters and oggle the waitresses, they are hot but stupid haha, i like stupid girls the most (note, his gf was 20 years younger than him) but id FUCK Sarah Palin, im only going to vote for Mccain just because Palin is HOT, hey did you hear they made a porn of her lookalike? yeah i know she hates gay people (and you are gay) but who cares, shes fUCKABLE i dont care what shes SAYING i just care about her BOOBS'
when i was about 18 during the training week for my first ever job at krogers i managed to pass without realizing it until the dudes invited just me (not the 1 girl) to eat lunch with them and just IMMEDIATELY started talking about fucking girls, girls being worthless if they were ugly and 'if theyre ugly just fuck em in the mouth hahaha' and HEY you know what i did NOT feel liek one of the boys, i felt like i was IN DANGER if they clocked me!! i did not feel like id gotten a special pass to the Fun Misogyny World where id get paid more, i was a 5'2" spotty teen boy working his first ever job as a grocery bagger who was now kind of scared his new coworkers might kill him, because ALL id done to pass was have short hair, be naturally kinda ugly, and have a gender-neutral nickname. none of my bosses thought i was a guy, they could find out at any second (as soon as we got back from lunch, evern) , that i was a worthless ugly girl that had invaded their space for their private conversatoin and maybe theyd decide to to show me what they meant!!!???
i have pretty much never managed to pass Ever Again after that point as far as i know, just a handful of times where a service worker went 'sir' to me, so these are pretty much the only times ive ever passed and it wasnt super fun!! so like!! maybe if youre a big huge strong tough trans guy with a spine of steel, complete confidence in your ability to pass and defend yourself, are in a highpowered/skilled enough environment to not worry about your job opportunities, maybe in that case invitations to the Fun Special Misogyny Club are being handed out even if you disclose that youre trans and hey, maybe its even fun to be there! ... but acting like thats the DEFAULT is just insane.
I'm this close to just sending that trans inclusive radical misogynist post, the one about how there's loads of guys who'll go "oh, you're a man now, great, come shit talk women with us" to every blog insisting that trans men can't have male privilege and it's transandrophobia to say they do. Not every trans man has this experience but it's actually pretty common even for out trans men to be seen as, if not "real" men depending on who you ask, certainly non-women, and encouraged to perform misogyny as part of their social transition.

Ne Me Quitte Pas
Alastor x angel!reader
Chapter 4: Stardust
Tumblr media
Chapter warnings: Alastor being Alastor
When our love was new, and each kiss an inspiration.
But that was long ago, and now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Time seemed to stop for Alastor.
Those bright, beautiful eyes he had fallen in love with in the mortal world, turned to look at him, acknowledging his presence.
His ever-present smile wavered a bit, just until those eyes turned away from him to look at Lucifer.
Despite Charlie’s cries for help and Lucifer’s aggressive disapproval, all he heard was silence. His glowing red eyes bore into the back of his beloved’s head.
You’d gone to heaven, of course you did and he knew that for a long time. He had scoured the ends of hell for your presence but found none who held even a shred of your likeness. He was relieved at first, knowing you would be spared from his violence, knowing you would be safe.
But it wasn’t long before he felt a sense of longing, desperation, and want to have you with him. He knew that if he played his cards right, his powers would help him grow stronger. He would be strong enough to bring you back to him.
Even if it meant he had to rip out those striking wings of yours.
Those very wings that blocked his vision now.
He let out a static sigh, ordering his dead heart to calm down as he approached the party.
“Now, now, Your Majesty,” he started, letting his hand act as a barrier between the two of you. It is rather uncouth for royalty like you to act in such a brazen way.”
His eyes shifted to yours, holding your skeptical gaze. He could feel not a smidge of recognition deep within those irises.
His stance faltered for a fraction of a second before his grin widened as he turned to the king of hell who was still seething.
“Why not give this angel a chance to explain themselves, hm? Unless you’re incapable of behaving like an adult, let alone a king?” Alastor jeered.
Hearing this, Lucifer turned his blood-red eyes to Alastor, gritting his teeth and speaking, “And I think you should behave like the easily disposable subject you are.”
Charlie, feeling a murderous staring contest begin between the two, intervened.
“Dad, this angel has come to give our hotel their blessings,” she explained, moving over to you, “And they have proof from Sera! Right?”
Her nervous eyes shifted to you, begging you to try to quell this disharmony.
“Your daughter speaks the truth, Lucifer Morningstar,” you said, summoning the scroll into your hands and holding it out for him.
Lucifer snatched the scroll to read it himself, his eyes moving over every word. Alastor leaned over to look through it as well. As soon as he reached the end, he let out a guffaw.
“Oh, this is hilarious!” Alastor exclaimed, wiping away a fake tear, “The High Seraphim pitying us helpless demons?”
Alastor let out a dramatic sigh, holding a fist over his chest, “Oh how…,” his static faded, only to grow louder as you felt his presence nearing you, “....delightful.”
With a tap, your cane transformed into your weapon. You pointed the sword right at his neck.
All eyes were on the two of you and silence grew, save for the quiet static that prevailed.
“You have a lot of guts trying to intimidate an angel,” you spoke, shifting your gaze to meet his, “especially since you’ve,” your eyes trailed down to his dress coat, “met one already.”
Alastor’s eye twitched as he shifted back with uncertainty. His ever-present grin straining as he tried to compose himself.
“And I don’t think that encounter went quite well for you,” You continued, your gaze piercing his soul.
He had never seen you like this before. Your eyes had always been one of his favorite things about you, having always held so much love whenever they looked at him.
But now, those very eyes he’d adored were holding him down in place, watching him like a predator stalks their prey.
Before he could lose any more of his composure, your eyes turned to find Lucifer’s.
“Your Majesty,” you started, snapping your fingers to get rid of the scroll held in his hands, “As you can see, I am here by the order of the High Seraphim. She sees potential in this establishment and I do too.”
Lucifer’s stature was still guarded, but his demonic form had calmed down a bit, his horns having disappeared completely and his eyes slowly returning to their normal state.
He stole a look at his daughter, her pleading eyes softening his resolve.
Letting out a sudden laugh, he walked up to you and pulled you down by your collar, making sure you were at eye level with him.
“If you try to hurt my daughter,” he glared, “I’ll drag you down to a place worse than hell myself…permanently.”
“I wouldn’t expect any less from you, Your Majesty,” you said, cooly.
With a huff, he let go of you, rolling his shoulders back. He met Charlie’s gaze with a tired smile. She returned it with warmth, an unspoken understanding resonating between them.
“So,” Charlie looked at you with a gigantic grin, “When do we get started?”
You tilted your head, “I’m sorry?”
“Gosh! I have so many ideas to work with! I’ll show you my charts! There’s this excellent daily schedule I’ve planned for the guests, sin-free of course-”
“Hun,” Vaggie interrupted, “Maybe we should…help them settle first?”
Charlie gasped, “Right!”
She grabbed you by your arm with a giddy disposition, “I have just the right room for you! Let’s go!”
Vaggie and Lucifer followed her as she dragged you upstairs, watching you like a hawk.
The rest of the hotel residents stood there in silence, before Niffty spoke out excitedly, “I like them.” She then hopped away happily with her broom, searching for her next pest victims.
“I’m…. gonna go head out for a while, see ya later Angie!” Cherri said as she walked out of the hotel.
Angel Dust and Husk looked at each other, not sure what to make of the situation. A sudden and loud crackle of static alarmed the two of them.
They turned to see Alastor seething, his smile morphing into a sickly grin. They followed his line of sight to the newly arrived angel who bore a soft smile as they patiently listened to Charlie’s excited ramblings, disappearing into the long halls with Lucifer and Vaggie in tow.
A pop sounded behind them as they watched Alastor fizzle away into the shadows.
“What’s the deal with ‘im?” Angel asked Husk, who merely shrugged, too tired and drunk to care.
Tumblr media
You looked around the room Charlie had brought you to. It was quite spacious, decked out with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a few tasteful decorations, and a balcony overlooking the Pride ring.
“The washroom’s right there and we serve 3 meals a day- the food and accommodations are all free, of course!” Charlie explained.
“The bar is open…whenever Husk feels like it, to be honest,” she admitted sheepishly, “but he’s a guest too so…”
Charlie trailed off, looking around.
“You….don’t have your luggage?” she pointed out.
“Oh! I do,” you said as you snapped your fingers twice. Your suitcases, numerous books, and everything else popped into existence, covering almost every inch of the dark red carpeted floor.
Charlie, Vaggie, and Lucifer looked dumbfounded.
“I..umm..may have packed a bit too much…” you said with an awkward smile.
Charlie regained her composure, “Don’t worry, take your time unpacking and settling in! We’ll just be out of your way!”
She dragged her father and girlfriend along with her, shutting the door behind her.
“Well that was something,” Vaggie started.
“I can’t believe an actual not fallen angel is in our hotel!” Charlie exclaimed, jumping on her hooves in the hallway.
“I still don’t know how to feel about this, Charlie,” Lucifer sighed, rubbing his temple with one hand, “Heaven, listening to us for once? Hah! As if.”
“Dad…,” Charlie placed a hand on her father’s shoulder, “If we don’t give Heaven a chance, wed be bigger hypocrites than Heaven themselves!”
“Guess there’s no helping it,” Lucifer smiled, holding his hand over his daughter’s, “I won’t be able to be with you all the time though, still have official stuff I gotta handle from the castle.”
He turned to his daughter’s girlfriend.
“Maggie,”
“Vaggie-”
“Can I trust you to take care of my girl when I’m not in the hotel?”
“I’ll protect her even when you’re here, Your Majesty,” Vaggie stated, “I’m not gonna let an angel of all beings harm her.”
“Awww, you guysss,” Charlie beamed as she hugged the two, “I appreciate all that but I can take care of myself too!”
“No doubt about that, dear,” Lucifer smiled, reaching up to ruffle her hair.
“C’mon, let’s give them time to unpack,” Charlie giggled, gesturing to the room of the new arrival, “And let’s give ourselves time to unpack…this situation.”
As soon as they were about to take a step, you popped your head out of the room with a smile.
“All done!”
The three looked back with wide eyes.
“Already?” Vaggie exclaimed, “ It's been like what…a minute?”
“Ah well…. angelic magic can go a long way,” you said, “I took the liberty to make a few tweaks to the room if you don’t mind.”
Charlie, growing curious, walked up to the room, “Of course, as long as…”
Her voice trailed off and her jaw dropped.
The room had been completely transformed. Soft blue replaced the red hues that once decorated the walls. White drapes surrounded the bed canopy and the windows. A few potted plants were placed where it best suited them, and all your necessities were neatly arranged in their appropriate places.
But the most drastic change of them all was the seemingly infinitely extending ceiling enveloped in a fitting angelic aura.
“Oh, don’t worry about the ceiling, it won’t disturb the rooms above this one,” you pointed out, watching Charlie shake her head in disbelief, “I just needed some space to stretch my wings.”
Vaggie and Lucifer stood behind Charlie shortly after, their mouths gaping like the princess.
“You’ve settled in already,” Lucifer chimed.
You sheepishly shrugged in reply.
It wasn’t long before you had to bid them goodbye as they left you to your devices.
You sighed and plopped yourself down on the bed. You opened the bedside drawer and took out a jewelry box.
Opening it, you could see all the little trinkets Molly had made for you, the few golden cranes that Oliver had forged as a gift for you. You smiled, wondering what the two were up to right now in heaven.
Your emotions took a somber turn when your fingers felt the cool looped metal hidden beneath everything else. Holding it up, your eyes found the red ruby seated in the center of the ring.
The ring you’d come to heaven with. The ring, as St. Peter had described, was a parting gift from someone who loved you.
Someone….who loved you.
You wondered if you would find them someday—the person who gave you this ring. Surely they must’ve made it to heaven? Or perhaps condemned to hell?
Are they still here? Have they been thinking of you?
Do…do they still love you?
All those questions plagued your mind ever since you entered the gates of heaven. And they have never left you in peace.
Putting it back safely within the confines of the box, you slid the drawer close, turning your attention to your other prized possession.
A radio.
You’d made it so that it could play music with or without a station nearby. Although it took several attempts for you to get it right, on top of making sure you did not damage the gizmo, you knew it was worth all the hassle.
Something had drawn you to it when you first saw it sitting on the shop shelf collecting dust. Call it love at first sight, if you will.
You turned the dial, smiling when music played through. It was a song about love- a reminiscent memory of it.
Sometimes I wonder, how I spend
The lonely nights
Dreaming of a song
The melody
Haunts my reverie
You lay down on the bed, letting your wings rest on either side of you. You feel a lone feather float down towards your face. You reach out to catch hold of it, right before it landed on you.
And I am once again with you
When our love was new
And each kiss an inspiration
You twirl the feather in between your fingers as your mind wanders.
.

But that was long ago
And now my consolation is in the stardust of a song.
You must.

SHIFTING ISN'T SPECIAL
please bare with me on this one bc it might be a bit longer than i expected (and excuse my very bad title-naming skills 😭)
in this essay i will try to put down in words exactly what i realised today as i started my first day into reprogramming my mind, something that i’m doing while following reya singh’s method. what is that?
shifting IS easy.
yes, i know everybody says it, but it’s the truth and i’m not telling you this as someone who shifts regularly to her drs, because i don’t (yet!). however, it did just click in my mind why people always say it and mean it. and i feel incredibly stupid for not understanding it waaay earlier than just now, 4 years into my journey.
now, let me walk you through the thought process behind this.
in reya’s 4-day method for reprogramming your mind, she instructs to write a list of your beliefs and non-beliefs. this may sound really silly and kinda useless at first - believe me, i woke up this morning thinking “what exactly am i supposed to do after that?” - but there’s a valid reason for it, which is to help you delete from your mind the idea that shifting is like a superpower that’s simply not for everyone and very hard to reach, when that is not the case at all!
in my own beliefs list, i’ve written “i am capable of shifting” right in between “i can speak english”, “i can write and read” and “i can eat --” (and some other things like “i can’t eat gluten”, bc i have celiac disease, “i can dream”, we all do! and “i can lucid dream”). you see where i’m going with this? i’m putting shifting in the same category as things we all normally do, that we sometimes don’t even think about doing since they’re such a natural activity. to this list i could add “i can breathe”, because we do it automatically, without even realising unless we focus on it. the same can be said for drinking or eating really, if you’re angry or thirsty you just go and get whatever pleases you the most and not dwell on it.
in the non-beliefs list, i’ve written obvious things like santa and the easter bunny (which isn’t common here in italy tbf but yeah) and sentences like “i can’t swim”, “i can’t draw”, “i can’t eat strawberries” and in between them also “i don’t fear shifting”. here, the point is that all these listed beliefs are stuff i know for a fact to be false: i can swim perfectly, i am an artist and i love strawberries + i’m not allergic to them or anything. by placing shifting there, i'm stating that just like i KNOW i can swim or whatever, i also KNOW i'm not scared of shifting.
you’re literally gaslighting your subconscious mind into believing what is real for a fact and what isn’t.
after writing down this list, which can be done on paper just like on your preferred device, i reread everything twice explaining to myself why i chose these things and why they are beliefs or not. that’s how i realised that shifting is easy. when people talk about it “clicking” they weren’t lying!
shifting isn’t special, this is what the list thing tries to prove you. it’s not special because, just like breathing and eating and reading, we do it subconsciously everyday. take your own first language: you speak it naturally without having to doubt it, and if you know a second language well enough like i know english for instance (my mother-tongue is italian) then you can even start talking to yourself and think in that language without having to search up translations.
what’s the difference with shifting then?
the difference is that shifting hasn’t been taught to us in the same way as a language has been, all throughout school. the same thing goes for reading and writing: we read and write naturally because we’ve been taught how to when we were young and it’s now engraved in our brains, just like with learning our first language, which is something we normally do thanks to our teachers, our families and the people around us, of course. this doesn’t happen with shifting in most cases, as we all know, which means it’s normal for it to take a bit to grasp as a concept and existing thing/activity. it’s natural, most of us human beings just don’t know about it, nor that we’re capable of doing it.
this is why i said it’s not special: just like breathing, everybody can do it (and so do you)!
going back to the non-beliefs list; i should also add that as a society we usually are taught what to believe in from a young age, and specifically what is believed to be a fantasy, a dream, or something real. as grown-ups, though, we have the right to believe in whatever we want, like shifting. as a realistic person, i understand that some people may have a hard time believing something as great as shifting could be true, because it genuinely doesn’t sound like it! so yes, this is also a factor that can and does make it harder for someone to trust their guts and expect to wake up somewhere that’s only fictional here.
shifting clicks for everybody at different times, but i hope this post will help some of you here understand it better and know that what more experienced shifters say always has a meaning, you just need the time to properly reflect on it to get it!
when it clicked for me a few hours ago i felt a huge rush of adrenaline and happiness bc yes, i can actually shift. i’m just overcomplicating it for no reason and so many of you are doing the same!
it’s okay though, we’ll all get there <3
(psa: if you saw any grammar mistakes or anything NO YOU DIDN'T and also please don't mind if this rant doesn't sound logical, i tried my best to explain myself like i wanted to 🥲)

Chapter 7/12
Masterlist | General Masterlist
Note: Some things are set into motion in this chapter.
18+ Minors DNI (mature)
Themes: love, fame, sex, drugs
It was an unusual morning for the two of you. Natasha stood in your kitchen, looking more at ease than you felt. Her mug was half-empty, cradled in her hands, while yours sat untouched on the counter before you, its steam curling upward in lazy spirals. The silence was deafening as you tried to process what Natasha told you. Isabella was still asleep in the other room.
Allowing Natasha to stay over had been a line you weren’t ready to cross, but the look on her face last night—the heartbreak she tried so hard to hide—left you with no choice.
You cared about her more than you could put into words, which made this more complicated. You didn’t want to be angry, but the way she’d shown up, raw and vulnerable, with a piece of her past you didn’t know how to navigate, was testing your patience.
Natasha broke the silence first. “I’m sorry for showing up like that. I just... I didn’t know where else to go.”
"Don't apologize for coming to me," You shook your head. You checked the time on the stove clock. 8 am. Neither of you had gotten much sleep. Isabella would be up soon, but she'd have many questions and comments. To feel like you had a handle on the situation, you began to make breakfast. Something simple. French toast and eggs. "It's just, I don't understand why she would call you, of all people."
"I don't hate her..." Natasha began. Then she stopped. Those weren't the right words. She set her mug down and rubbed the back of her neck. “It’s not what you think.”
You paused, spatula hovering over the skillet. Your tone was even when you spoke, and it wasn't as hard as before. "Then explain it to me. Because from where I'm standing, it looks like she still has a hold on you."
Natasha sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly. “She called me out of nowhere, drunk, stranded... I didn’t want to leave her like that. It sounds stupid, but I felt I had to help.”
“You didn’t have to do anything,” you said firmly. “She’s not your responsibility anymore, Natasha. You don’t owe her anything.”
“I know,” Natasha replied quietly, her eyes dropping to the floor. “But it’s hard. Carol... she was a big part of my life for a long time. Walking away from that hasn’t been easy.”
You softened at her admission, the frustration in your chest giving way to something more tender. “I get that,” you said after a moment. “But you’ve got to figure out what you want, Nat. You can’t keep one foot in the past and expect the future to wait for you.”
She glanced up, green eyes meeting yours, and you were struck by the vulnerability in them. You weren't sure what else to say, but before you could come up with something, Natasha closed the distance between you and gently cupped your cheek. You held your breath as she leaned in, her forehead resting against yours.
"I want you," she whispered, her words feathering against your lips. "I'm trying. I don't want to screw this up. I don't want to screw us up."
"Then don't," You muttered. "If this isn't what you want. If there's even a chance you want her, then you need to be upfront with me. If this is just sex for you..."
"It's not," Natasha said firmly, her eyes flashing with something fierce and protective. "It's never been like that. You know that."
"Do I?" You asked. "I'm trying to be levelheaded. You tell me your ex calls, and you go running."
"Not like that," Natasha sighed.
"You went to her," You pointed out.
"Because she was alone, drunk, and in trouble," Natasha shook her head. "I wouldn't have stayed. I just... wanted to make sure she was okay. That's all."
"Did she try to kiss you?"
"What? No," Natasha snorted, shaking her head. "God, no. She was drunk. Really, really drunk."
"So, nothing happened," you asked.
"Nothing," Natasha nodded.
"Okay," You nodded slowly.
"Okay?"
"Yeah," you said, returning to the stove and plating the food you'd made.
Natasha hesitated, then slid her arms around your waist, pressing her front to your back and resting her chin on your shoulder.
"I'm not going anywhere," she murmured. "I promise."
You hummed, leaning into her warmth. The knot in your stomach loosened, but it didn't completely disappear.
"I trust you," You nodded to yourself. It wasn't something you had to convince yourself to believe. She came to you. She told you the truth.
"That's good," Natasha nodded, a relieved smile gracing her face. She kissed the side of your head and then your neck.
"Mm, what are you doing?" You asked.
"Nothing," Natasha smirked.
"That doesn't feel like nothing," you teased, a hint of a smile on your lips.
Natasha opened her mouth to respond, but a small voice interrupted.
"What are we talking about?" Isabella yawned, shuffling into the kitchen with messy hair and sleep-heavy eyes.
"Nothing," you and Natasha said in unison, the words tumbling too quickly to sound convincing.
"Whatever," Isabella rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed, as she climbed onto one of the kitchen stools. Her gaze shifted to Natasha, and she grinned. "Natasha, you're here."
"Yeah," Natasha nodded, taking a small step back from where she'd been standing close to you. She looked unsure, her hand brushing awkwardly against the counter. You understood the hesitation—it was a delicate situation, having her here when things between the three of you were still so new.
But Isabella didn't seem to share your reservations.
"Good," Isabella chirped, swinging her legs under the stool. "I was wondering when Mama would let you come."
Your cheeks flushed. "Bella," you said, trying to keep your tone even.
"What?" she asked innocently. "I like her. You do, too, right?"
Natasha stifled a chuckle, and you shot her a look.
"Natasha's just visiting," you said, redirecting the conversation.
"Sure," Isabella said with a sly grin, clearly not buying it. She turned her attention to Natasha. "Anyway, Mama, could you do my hair today? In a different style? Something that isn't babyish."
"You are a baby," You pointed out as you slid her a plate of French toast and fresh fruit.
Isabella rolled her eyes again. "I'm almost ten, Mama."
"Still a baby," You stepped around the counter to wrap her in your arms. "My one and only baby."
Isabella squirmed away, giggling. "Mama," she whined. "Stop. You're embarrassing me in front of company."
"Sorry," you apologized, smiling at Natasha, who was watching the scene with amusement. "Old habits die hard. I'll think of something to do to your hair. Eat your breakfast now, and we can walk the dog."
"Yay!" Isabella cheered.
Natasha's hand found yours, her fingers entwining with yours and squeezing lightly.
"We?" Natasha asked softly.
"Yeah," You nodded.
Natasha gave you a soft smile, the kind that reached her eyes and made your knees weak. You were falling for her, and there was no stopping it.
********
A part of you was glad Isabella was talking to Natasha. The other part was concerned. There were still things you needed to talk about that you hadn't figured out yet. And this whole Carol situation last night had left a bad taste in your mouth. You didn't like the idea of her and Carol reconnecting. Not when it meant Natasha was spending time with someone who had hurt her before. Especially when that someone was her ex, especially when that someone was Carol Danvers, you didn't hate the girl. You barely knew her. Simply hearing of her reputation was enough for you.
You didn't want to get too in your head. Not as you were walking with Isabella and Natasha around the neighborhood.
"I'm in intermediate-level gymnastics," Isabella explained to Natasha. She held loosely onto Bear's leash as the dog pulled her over to a random bush. He really was a good walker most of the time.
"That's pretty cool," Natasha grinned, her hand holding yours. "How long have you been doing it?"
"Since I was six," Isabella boasted.
"She's pretty good," You added. "Gymnastics, ballet, and dance. She's the busiest kid I know."
"It's fun," Isabella smiled. "Keeps the mind going and the body healthy. Did you play sports as a kid?"
"I did ballet," Natasha admitted."Yeah, it was a long time ago."
"Did you like it?"
"I did," Natasha nodded. "I was good at it, too."
"Were you any good?" Isabella asked.
"Kind of," Natasha chuckled. "It was a long time ago."
"When did you stop?"
"Well, I didn't quit," Natasha explained. "I got older, and my body changed. The type of moves they have us do can be hard on the body."
"Oh," Isabella nodded, a little less cheerful. "So, did you ever hurt yourself?"
"Not seriously, no," Natasha shrugged.
"That's good," Isabella sighed, relieved. "I hurt myself last year. A twisted ankle."
"Yeah," Natasha nodded.
"I cried because it hurt," Isabella continued.
"Of course, it did," You smiled. "We'd take a break until you were feeling better. Then you were back at it."
"Yeah," Isabella sighed. "Rookie mistakes."
"You could say that," You grinned.
"Are you busy on Wednesday, Natasha?" You could see by the smile in her eyes that Isabella was about to ask her something without your permission.
"Wednesday? What’s on your mind?"
Isabella's face lit up with a mischievous grin, her eyes darting toward you briefly before returning to Natasha. "We have this recital rehearsal, and we get to bring a helper for some of the moves. Can you come?"
You groaned internally, already anticipating how this was going to play out. "Bella, we talked about this. You’re supposed to ask me before inviting someone."
"I know," she said innocently, twirling a strand of her hair. "But Natasha’s really strong. She’d be great for the lifts!"
Natasha glanced at you with a raised eyebrow, clearly amused. "Lifts, huh?"
"It’s true!" Isabella insisted. "And besides, you said you used to dance. You’ll understand better than Mama. No offense," she added quickly, glancing your way.
"None taken," you muttered, trying not to roll your eyes.
Natasha seemed thoughtful for a moment. "When is it? I could probably stop by," she said, looking at you for permission.
"Great!" Isabella cheered, jumping up and down. "It starts at four on Wednesday, and we can pick you up."
"Or you can meet us there," you suggested.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Isabella said, waving her hand dismissively. "Can we go to the park now? Pleeeease?"
"I think we can manage," You said, reaching out and taking Bear's leash. The dog had been patiently waiting during your conversation. You didn't think he'd wander off but didn't want to risk it.
"Yes!" Isabella cheered, throwing her hands up.
"Actually, I have a studio session now," Natasha checked her phone. "I'm pretty late, and Wanda's going to kill me."
"Oh, well, do you want us to walk to the house with you?"
"No, I have my car keys," Natasha denied. "I'll find my way."
"Oh, well, okay," You nodded. Isabella gestured for you to kiss her goodbye. You rolled your eyes at your kid and pulled Natasha down the sidewalk out of earshot. "So, I'll talk to you later?"
"You bet," Natasha nodded. She pressed her lips to yours, giving you a sweet, tender kiss. You leaned into it, savoring the taste of her and the feel of her. You'd never get tired of this.
"Okay," You whispered as you broke the kiss.
"Okay," She smiled, squeezing your hand. "Bye, Isabella."
"Bye, Natasha," Isabella called.
"See you, little one," Natasha smiled, winking at her before leaving.
You watched her walk away, admiring the view. It wasn't until she disappeared around the corner that you rejoined your daughter.
"You're in looove," Isabella teased.
"Maybe," You smirked.
"You should totally marry her," Isabella commented.
"Oh, should I?" You asked. "It hasn't even been that long."
"When you know, you know," Isabella said sagely.
"That's very true," You nodded.
"She makes you happy, right?"
"She does," You agreed.
"And I like her." Isabella listed. "You should totally marry her."
"How about we take things slow, okay?" You chuckled. "Let's see how things go."
"Whatever," Isabella giggled.
"What's with you and this whatever thing?" You wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
Isabella shrugged dramatically, leaning into your side. "It’s just a vibe, Mama. You know, like, whatever happens, happens."
You couldn’t help but laugh at her sass. "I don’t know about you, but you’re too young to drop wisdom like that."
She grinned mischievously. "Maybe, but someone’s got to keep you in check."
You rolled your eyes, smiling as you hugged her tighter. "I think I’m the one who needs to be keeping you in check."
Isabella hummed, content to let you have the last word for now.
The two of you enjoyed the rest of the morning together, laughing and playing and making up silly songs.
******
When Natasha arrived at the studio session, initially, she didn't know what to write. She'd had a list of songs in her black book that she knew she wanted to lay out. But for the last hour, she'd been staring at the blank sheet, her pencil hovering uselessly over the staff.
"Are you writing?" Wanda asked.
"I am," Natasha nodded.
"Then why aren't we recording?"
"Just... a little writer's block," Natasha said.
"Writer's block?" Wanda repeated. "Do you have anything in mind?"
"I do, but..." She shook her head. "I try not to write such personal things. I have a melody and a couple of lyrics in my head, but I don't know if I should do it."
"Becuase you're in a love triangle?" Wanda guessed.
"No, it's not even a love triangle," Nataha shut her book. "It's not even a love anything. Carol is my ex. I blocked her number. Y/n is my now."
"So why the blockage?" Wanda asked.
Natasha paused momentarily, trying to figure out what was holding her back. Her heart told her to write, but her head told her to be smart.
"It's not like I haven't written love songs before," Natasha started.
"But these are about Y/n," Wanda nodded. "And Carol. I get it."
"Carol was a long time ago. What we had... it wasn't good. We didn't end things on good terms. Y/n, on the other hand, is something I want to try. Someone that means something to me."
"Then write about it," Wanda shrugged.
"I just don't know if I should," Natasha said. "Writing a song about Carol? Fine. We weren't happy. But Y/n. She's someone special. If I write about her and it doesn't work out..."
"You can't live your life worried about the what-ifs," Wanda pointed out. "If you want this relationship and're serious about her, then you must be willing to put yourself out there. That's what people do. They take risks. They have faith in one another. It's a leap of faith."
"When did you become a philosopher?" Natasha teased.
"I'm not," Wanda chuckled. "I just think you're overthinking it. Write the damn song, Natasha. Or I will."
Natasha opened her mouth to argue but thought better of it. "Okay, it starts like this..."
"I love her, I want her, but my heart cannot recover,
Stuck in a whirlwind, won’t you get me out?
Fading in and out of what we were before,
But I'm losing me when I keep begging for more."
Natasha sat back, tapping the pen against the notebook's edge as she let the words flow through her mind. Wanda watched her carefully, a knowing smile on her face. Natasha had always been cautious, especially regarding matters of the heart, and Wanda had seen it enough times to recognize the hesitation.
"You know," Wanda began, leaning forward, "that song is pretty powerful already. The emotions are raw. You don't have to have everything figured out right now. Sometimes, you just need to let the music do the talking."
Natasha nodded, eyes still focused on the page, her mind racing with the thoughts of Carol and you of the past and the present. The confusion between what she'd been through and what she now had with you. It wasn't easy, but it felt right.
"You’re right," Natasha finally admitted, her voice softer. "I just... I don't want to mess things up with Y/n. She’s different, Wanda. She’s... real."
Wanda reached over and squeezed her hand, her expression gentle. "I know, and that's a good thing. It's a sign that things are changing for the better. Take it one day at a time, and don't overthink it."
"That's easier said than done," Natasha sighed.
"True," Wanda chuckled. "But I'm always here for you, even if it means reminding you not to be so damn stubborn all the time. Now, let's write some more of this song."
Natasha grinned, picking up the pen and turning back to the page, her fingers already itching to start composing. "You know, I'm glad we decided to work on this project. It's been a long time coming."
"Me too," Wanda smiled, her eyes lighting up. "And hey, we might actually finish something. We recorded three songs with the guys. If we finish this and like it...we might actually be getting somewhere with the album."
"Don't jinx it," Natasha laughed. "But I wouldn't mind recording more. Especially with this."
"Yeah, yeah," Wanda waved her hand. "Let's just get this song finished. Then we can talk about the next one."
"Deal."
As they worked, the two women found themselves in a comfortable rhythm. The back and forth between them was familiar, and they quickly lost track of time. The song began to come together, and Natasha found herself getting more and more excited. This was the kind of music she wanted to be making—deep, soulful, real.
They spent the rest of the day working on the song, taking breaks only to eat or use the bathroom. When they finally called it a day, both women were exhausted but pleased with their progress.
"Okay, now for the next one," she said with a knowing grin.
Natasha raised an eyebrow, wiping her hands on her jeans. "Another one already? You don’t waste any time."
Wanda chuckled. "What can I say? We’re on fire. So, I thought… maybe we should try something different for the next single."
Natasha tilted her head in interest. "Different? How?"
"I’m thinking we stick to the punk vibe, but… I want to experiment with something soulful, a voice that's a little outside of our usual sound." Wanda's eyes sparkled with the excitement of the idea. "I was thinking Y/n could be a good fit for it."
"Y/n? As in, my girlfriend?"
"Yes, and my friend," Wanda nodded.
"You think she could do it?" Natasha asked, her chest warming at the mention of the you.
"Yeah, absolutely. She's got a great voice, and her lyrics are killer. Plus, she's not afraid to be vulnerable. That's the kind of emotion we're going for. What do you think?" Wanda began to pack up her things.
"I think it's a big ask," Natasha said. She sighed, her thoughts racing. "I guess I get the appeal. It’s just… Y/n's got her own sound. I don’t want to pull her into something that’s not authentic to her. Plus, she doesn't sing anymore."
"I get it, and I wouldn't be suggesting it if I didn't think she was right for the song. I've heard her sing before. She's got the range and the passion." Wanda looked at Natasha, her expression serious. "It's worth a shot. Maybe if she hears the song, she'll feel inspired to sing again."
"Maybe," Natasha said, though she wasn't sure. The thought of you singing again filled her with hope, but she didn't want to get her expectations too high. You'd clarified that singing wasn't part of your life anymore. Still, the idea of having you collaborate with them was intriguing. "Okay, I'll bring it up with her. But no promises."
"Fair enough," Wanda nodded. "I'll let you take the lead. Just don't wait too long. I think it could be a game-changer for us."
Natasha gave her a skeptical look. "A game-changer? Isn't that a bit much?"
Wanda shook her head. "Nah, not when it's true. Besides, the world could always use more soulful artists. It's a win-win."
"All right," Natasha relented. "I'll talk to her."
"Great," Wanda smiled. "I'll see you later."
"Bye, Wanda," Natasha said, waving her off. She had a lot to think about.
The question was, where did you stand on all of this?

DEMON BUSTERS!! — About Nezuko
Next Part>>
<<Previous Part
And so, the long awaited Nezuko post has arrived!!! Sorry for the long wait everyone, I had to work out some lore stuff and this kept getting delayed, so let’s just get right into it! In case you don’t know or need a refresher, in this modern kny au the Demon Slayer Corps has updated and rebranded into the Demon Busters! People have been dying to demon attacks at alarming rates so to make their jobs easier they’ve been running ad campaigns! However this installment is a little different as this is NOT an ad campaign! To protect Nezuko they did not run an ad campaign on her. Instead, this is known as an ‘about’. Several other characters will be getting an about section but let’s start with our favorite girl Nezuko!
— Lore Dump Incoming!!—
In this au, Nezuko got turned on her birthday. It was supposed to be a fun celebration, she would spend the night at her friends’ house and then go home the next morning to help her family prepare for New Years. Of course when the day actually came, there were complications as Tanjirou would not let her go for whatever reason, stating that he had a “bad feeling” about it. But nothing ever happens in their small town! In fact, the biggest event in a long while was their father’s death a couple months prior. Eventually, after some back and forth they just chalked it up to him being paranoid and she was able to go.
It wasn’t just paranoia. Nobody knew that anything was wrong until the next morning. Tanjirou had gone to pick Nezuko up since nobody had heard anything from her, and was met with a gruesome sight. Just like in canon, Nezuko was the only survivor, but she seemed to be a little off… Firstly, she had tried to attack Tanjirou before quickly coming to her senses after a man called Giyuu Tomioka appeared, stating that he was a “Demon Buster” and she was a “demon” and that he had to slay her. And secondly she no longer had a taste for human food and just slept all the time! Luckily, nobody was slayed, and the siblings were instructed to find a man named Sakonji Urokodaki, Tomioka’s teacher. But they couldn’t just leave! Not after everything. So they came to an agreement: because Nezuko was able to quell her hunger and more or less function like a normal human, the two would go home for now, and then Tomioka would come to pick them up at a later date. As it turned out, in order for Nezuko to get her humanity back, she’d have to become a “Demon Buster”. A perfect way to bring in the new year..
In this au Nezuko keeps her humanity and is more of her own person. This makes it easier for her to get around and get info from other demons easier. She also conquers the sun slightly earlier, but we’ll get to that later. She wasn’t able to really show herself to her family that often until she was able to learn how to disguise herself from none other than Yushiro. Her having a sense of self and a personality separate to Tanjirou also allows for them to go their separate ways a bit more. Of course they stick together but it’s not like Nezuko is bound to the box. They have missions that sometimes requires Tanjirou to go completely solo, thus Nezuko is left to her own devices.
Overall, I really want to explore Nezuko’s character more and there’s so much more to her than what can be explained in a single post. I guess you’ll just have to tag along to find out more huh? This will also allow me to expand more on her relationship in regards to Zenitsu. In canon, it seemed a little one-sided since we weren’t able to get Nezuko’s point of view, but in this au I want to show more mutual interest so it doesn’t come off as weird as it did in canon. This also allows her to make her own friends (read: Muichirou, Senjurou, Genya, and more). Nezuko is a very fun character to explore in this au and I can’t wait to show you guys more!
Also did I mention that a lower moon is seeking to kill her? No? Oh, my bad.
———
Hey! Thanks for sticking around. Sorry this one took a while! After this we will most likely be getting Tamayo and Yushiro!! Inosuke and Kanao will have to wait a little bit longer because I still have to figure out things lore/design wise. As for Hashira, the next one will either be Giyuu or Shinobu! That’s all for now and thanks for all the support on this au!! Feel free to ask me about anything lore-related! I’ll see you in the next one!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Anyway
Hope Castor can help Lunar.
Or atleast point him in the right direction.
I think Lunar is finally facing himself really.
And I understand wanting him out of the house but like- why are they surprised he ran away?
Thats like what Lunar does? He ran for months after he died, him running away is par for the course. And he was gone for three days because he was in jail? They didn't even accept that, they just got mad at him for running. As if Monty hadn't actually decided he was gonna kill Lulu.
Like Lunar would probably be dead if he'd stayed, or atleast injured.
'We do still love you and youre still our little brother'
-They say as they irepibly damage any and all trust Lunar had in them at the moment and in the future.
Moon I understand you want him to actually face consequences but there's no going back from this!
Lunar will never trust you, or anyone else in this family, again.
Castor pleasepleaseplease be the one who finds him.
Ohhh how I want to see more Pollux and Castor interactions bc as I said in another ask that idk if you received Cas almost seems to be avoiding talking to her specifically about Lulu.
That or Lunar gets kidnapped again.
More specifically by the creator so gem (or even just Cas) have to save him
But with Gemini separate there's also the possibility rez or someone else targets one of the twins while the other is away so thatd be neat.
ALL OF THIS NODNODNOD!!!!!!
I think Castor choosing to help Lunar while Pollux doesn't would be really interesting from a Gemini perspective. They're the twins, they make up one astral, one constellation together. If they truly become divided over this, I would be deeply fascinated to see where it goes from there since we got so used to seeing them as Gemini—a collective entity—rather than themselves.
And YEAH LIKE. Listen. I know that to the family, because they don't actually have the full picture, it looks like Lunar is just a loose canon that attacked Earth in a fit and then dipped. But also LUNAR TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT THEY WERE IN LITERALLY INCAPABLE OF RETURNING SOONER BC THEY WERE JAILED AND THEN REZ PUT THEM ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLOBE. AND MOON JUST WENT "I DON'T CARE." LIKE CMON 😭 "why were you gone for 3 days" "i was jailed and then left in russia" "whatever i dont care" MOON WHEN I GET YOU.......
THE "I LOVE YOUS" BETWEEN IT ALL YEAH.
I'm sorry but no amount of "you are family and we love you" is going to lessen the blow of "you have basically been squatting in my house (that i invited you into and you've been paying rent for) and you're a danger to this entire family so I want you to never speak or get near any of us until you sort yourself out." ESPECIALLY WHEN MOON SAID "YOU'RE LUCKY I EVEN STILL CONSIDER YOU FAMILY" LIKE I'M SORRY BUT THAT'S WILD. Again, I understand Moon in this situation. That does not mean I don't think he wasn't insanely rude LMAO 😭
Exactly like you said, Moon cannot undo this. Lunar has always looked up to old Moon and so I cannot imagine how much more it hurts coming from him. I honestly can't imagine a clear future where Lunar is going to feel safe amongst their own family again, knowing that they all viewed them as dangerous enough to be kicked out. Honestly, I'm half expecting this to end up as "Lunar lives independently and then realizes they actually feel better not living around their family and that they were kinda awful for them on accident" HDKSHDJS
YEA MORE CASTOR N POLLUX INTERACTIONS WOULD BE GREAT...... Yesyes I have received ur other ask and I'm actually gunna answer it after this one but GHOD yeah. Seeing them disagree abt smth is so interesting and I need more of it....... If one twin is hurt tho,,,,,,, ouhg. The Angst........

Sunshine
Chapter 4
Description: will Ray agree to join the team? Will she go to Mexico with them..? Will she remember how to shoot straight? Who knows..
Tumblr media
You listened to what Price had offered. You really tried to find it in yourself to agree, but no. “I can’t do that..”
“Can’t do what..?” - “expect your men to trust me. To, for want of a better term, take a bullet for me.. it’s not fair. Christ, even I wouldn’t trust me as far as you could throw me..”
“..” You glance around at the three men, all silent, the Scot fidgeting with his hoodie strings and Ghost staring straight at back at you. The Captain starts to respond, but you cut him off, earning an exasperated sigh from the man.
“Also.. I’ve been out for months, over a year, in fact... What makes you so sure I can still shoot straight. Hold my own in a fight? What if it’s all gone? Any potential you may have seen in me. It’s gone. I’m exhausted, Captain. You’re placing too much trust in me. I’ll let you down. Your team, I can see it’s precious to you. I can’t be trusted with that responsibility…”
The man clears his throat and sends a wry smile in your direction.
“You don’t lose that sort of skill. It stays with you forever. If, for your own peace of mind, you’d like to go down the range and sharpen up, then feel free. Likewise, if you’d like to spar and polish up on your hand to hand, then I’m sure one of the boys here can help. Gaz, too, once he is fighting fit, which won’t be long. As far as trust goes, I look at it this way. Trust is a two way street. If you trust me, my team, enough to join us, then we will trust you enough to fight alongside. Simple as that, really”.
You clench your jaw, annoyed at yourself for even considering this. No, surely not.. snap out of it!! Just as you think of something to say to help get you out of this, the captain speaks again.
“You have my word, y/n, you’re free to leave. If at any point you want out, just tell me. I’ll sign the papers, set you up with a new identity and new house, you’ll be out. For good. I’ll give you the clearance, make sure you get your pension, your insurance, retirement, everything, you'll be discharged. I can say it’s on medical grounds.."
You can’t quite believe his offer. When you’d thrown that tantrum at the ceremony, they’d take everything from you. Everything that the Captain had just listed, gone, you had a red stamp across your name.
DISHONOURABLY DISCHARGED
You feel your throat constrict. You clear it slightly, trying to relieve the lump that had settled there.
“Fine” you murmur, not looking up from your shoe laces, if you looked at any of them now, you might change your mind and go running back to your shitty life on the outskirts of town. You’d been more dead for the past 18 months, than you would have been if you’d actually have died in Russia, with the rest of your unit. It had been a sorry existence. One of solitude, and misplaced anger. You’d made your bed and laid in it, so to speak. And God, was it a horrible, lumpy, uncomfortable bed..
“Fine, I’ll do it” you repeat, turning on your heel and leaving the room.
“Welcome to the team, Ray. Johnny will show you to your room, and give you a quick tour of the base” the Captain replies, in an even tone, hiding his slight surprise at your agreement.
You glance to Johnny, who immediately snaps out of his dazed state and jumps to his task. “Right, yeah, ok! Follow me, lass”.
You follow Soap, who cleverly decides not to make conversation, this time. He arrives at a room.
“This is you..” he explains pointing to the door in front of him. He then points to his left “that’s Gaz..” then to his right “and that’s me - Cap and Ghost have their own rooms in the next hall. The common room is at the end of this hallway - 141 only. The communal mess hall is back the way we came, near the infirmary. The gym —”
You decide to interrupt. “That’s all, you can go.. I know where everything else is” you murmur, accidentally harshly. He immediately turns and it makes you feel guilty for your tone. Christ, you’d not had to be nice to anyone for years.. you were rusty.
As he turns away with a glum look on his usually too cheery face, you wince, realising that you’d upset him. You step into the room he had shown you, closing the door behind you. It was a typical military base room. A bed in the middle, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe, with a desk on the other side of the room. Basic and simple. You dump your bags on the bed and start rummaging through what little you had left.
These bags hadn’t been touched since you’d left. They were still packed from when Price and Kyle had arrived to your room immediately after storming out from the ceremony. As you unzip the rucksack, filled with your old life, your dog tags tumble down and snag on the zip.
You try to blink away the sting in your eyes, holding them up to the light with the metal chain. They clink against each other, flashing the artificial ceiling light into your eyes . Up close, you can see small scratches and tiny divots - scars left behind from years of service.
After a deep breath, you lift them and secure them around your neck - finally back where they belong. They feel cold against your skin, but the sensation feels familiar. Pull yourself together!
The next thing in your bag, is your old shemagh. It is tattered, torn and frayed at the edges. It’d always been with you on the field. You’d never been anywhere without it. If it wasn’t around your neck, it was tied to a gun, or around a belt loop. It was your good luck charm. God, the miles that old scarf had done…
You noticed that the Captain and Gaz usually wear one of their own around their necks. You weren’t sure if theirs held the same emotional attachment as yours did, but you assumed their ‘items’ were the hats that always donned their heads, and Ghost’s was his mask. You weren’t sure what Soap’s thing was yet..
As you pull it from the rucksack, the fabric feels so soft in your hands, you scrunch it up and take a huge inhale of its scent. Memories flood your vision. You sit down on the bed, allowing yourself a moment to reminisce on the past.
A knock on the door pulls you from your thoughts.
“Y/n? Still in ‘ere?” The voice asks.
You roll your eyes. It was Gaz.
“What do you want?”
“To catch up..” he replies, undeterred
“Already have..”
“C’mon, Ray.. let me in..” he whines, trying the handle.
Damn it, should have locked the door.
He freezes when he sees you, sitting on the bed, hands wrapped around your military scarf and wearing your dog tags around your neck. He eyes you for what seems like ages. Eventually he speaks..
“There she is!” he smirks “knew you couldn’t resist...”

The curse of the dark Phoenix
Chapter 17: Catching up
First chapter | Previous
Tumblr media
Send some love to @lovelivingmydreams who's written this wonderful story!
Read on tumbler:
“Should we catch mister Remus up on what happened the past fifty years?” Patton wondered as they walked towards the nearest village.
Remus had reluctantly accepted a cloak from Virgil to hide his altered form from the villagers.
“Oh Virgin told me everything already. Gussy got a promotion. All it took was every other great mage and above to kick the bucket. Except the high mages probably aren’t actually dead. The great mages… I saw some of them before I got locked up. They looked very dead,” Remus stated casually. “We’d all be stuck where we were if you three didn’t want to play hero and go snoop in a missing mage’s tower. That’s gutsy I’ll give you that. And that’s where you found Virgin in a box!”
“Stop calling him that,” Roman insisted, feeling Virgil’s annoyance at that nickname.
Remus turned to him with a smirk. “When he gets some I’ll stop calling him that,” he promised.
That… Confused Roman. Virgil had boyfriends before. Many from the sound of it. He didn’t think Virgil would be inexperienced… Virgil seemed amused by that statement, so he probably wasn’t.
Not something Roman wanted to be thinking about too much actually.
“Didn’t…” Patton started, but Virgil interrupted him.
“Anyway. My love life aside. There is a chance that there are some allies around who will help us no questions asked. Thomas is king, I don’t worry about him. It’s the council I am not sure about and I’d rather have the gang complete and agree on our story to keep these three out of trouble on the off chance this whole thing goes belly up,” Virgil explained, indicating Roman and his friends.
Roman was about to interject, but Remus interrupted him.
“So we gotta nap,” he said, clearly annoyed by that part of the plan. “Eat, and then go find Janni without any clue where to find him?” he surmised.
“Well, we have some clue. We have an area within which we need to search. We can start from the center and then go from there. Which just so happens to be… Here,” Virgil announced as they came upon the village.
“Oooh, I remember this one!” Remus cackled. “Didn’t you have a cult here for a while?” he wondered.
“Not a cult. Just…” Virgil tried to correct.
“Dude they had tattoos. It was a cult,” Remus grinned.
Virgil sighed. “You stop one forest fire,” he muttered.
“How long is ‘a while’?” Logan wondered. Which was fair. A while for them might mean something entirely different to them than to the centuries old mages.
“A decade or two,” Virgil admitted.
“Dude, babies were born and raised on the idea that you were an actual god,” Remus chuckled.
“It was a very isolated town back then. Not many travelers going through, let alone mages. Few even knew it was there,” Virgil explained.
“And worrywart Virgin kept tabs on those wittle settlements like a good wittle high mage,” Remus teased.
“I wasn’t the only one,” Virgil pointed out. “You are more of an outlier than me in that regard.”
Remus shrugged. “Anyway, Virgie finally had enough of the worship every time he checked up on the wards and asked me for help setting things straight. I’m pretty sure they still thought we were something divine for a good while after that… I think that kid… Damian?” Remus mused.
Virgil nodded. “Once Damian was found to be gifted and he went to school, he managed to convince his family and neighbors that magic, while powerful, is not an indication of the divine,” he recalled. They made their way to one of the larger buildings. Not the inn though. “Ever since, I’ve been treated as a welcome guest,” Virgil mused.
“And I as a scary reminder to treat you as a person,” Remus grinned, elbowing his friend in the side.
Virgil chuckled and knocked on the door. “Here’s hoping for allies,” he mused.
Not much later, a woman in her early twenties opened the door.
Virgil relaxed. "Daughter of James, son of Adam?" he guessed, pulling his hood back just a bit.
The woman gasped. “You are here,” she breathed as she ushered them inside.
"Grandfather will be thrilled," she said in an excited tone as she led him onward to the living room where an elderly man in his seventies was seated along with a man in his late forties or early fifties. They both rose from their seats, the eldest a bit less fluently.
"Please, stay seated," Virgil bid, making the eldest gasp. "Virgil... it really is you," he whispered. Virgil pulled back his cloak, revealing his cursed appearance, the man seemed unphased.
"Hey, Adam. You look good," he smiled fondly.
"No need to lie," Adam chuckled, tears welling up in his eyes. "When we got the message... I didn't think I'd see you this soon. But I came here because I knew that if you did end up in the area, this was where you'd look for aid," he explained shakily. Virgil gently guided him back to his seat. "Well, I found Remus in the area, so I couldn't just pass you by. What message, though?" Virgil wondered. Adam pointed at the table. A messaging stone.
"The phoenix has risen," Adam said weightily. "That was the message," he said. Then he took in Roman and his friends. "Are we all allies of the high Mage?" he asked firmly.
"They are good, Adam. Man, you got serious while I was away. I remember you being much more fun," Virgil chided playfully.
Adam smiled fondly at him. "Well, what I am about to reveal could put my family and our allies at risk, so I have to be cautious,” he offered apologetically. “We are the guardians of the Phoenix secret. We shared information on your last years and those of other high mages that kept in contact with the common folk,” he explained. Then he leaned forward, looking Virgil in the eye. “There are wizards and mages the council has no knowledge about. No one knew what the ritual that would allow them to become great mages entailed exactly I'm afraid. And we didn't stumble upon it while we tried to educate free thinking magic wielders as we'd hoped. But still, you'll have plenty of students of varying ages eager for some more guidance. Many of them have lost a loved one to the plague and did not accept the official explanation for their passing. They eagerly await word from you," Adam explained.
Virgil chuckled. "I should have known you'd keep your trouble maker tendencies even after taking over as caretaker of the town," he mused.
"But it's good to know there will be mages around to help guide the official magic community." The cursed high mage decided. "I'll help them as soon as we know what happened to the other high mages. We already found the smoldering heart and the frozen tempest. I'm sure there will be more returning to help soon," he promised.
"How can we help?" The other man, James probably, wondered eagerly.
"We could use someplace to rest for an hour. Food. And information. Anything about where Janus silver tongue was last seen or anything about a basilisk in the area," Virgil summarized.
"We won’t need a big room," Remus assured them as he pulled a flustered Patton closer by the waist.
"I'll fit this one in my lap," he mused. To which Patton made a high pitched squeak.
"Don't make him uncomfortable Remus,” Virgil warned.
Remus let go of Patton. "Came Vigini!" He whined petulantly. Roman was at a complete loss as to what he just said. And then Virgil responded in kind.
Roman was pretty sure no one in the room knew what the heck they were saying.
Remus seemed to be on the defensive and Virgil seemed both skeptical and intrigued.
Roman felt a nudge. He looked beside him and saw that his friends were looking at him expectantly.
“What?” he whispered.
“What are they saying?” Logan asked, rolling his eyes as though that was obvious.
“I can’t read his mind. I need some more context and even then it’s an educated guest. Remus is trying to convince Virgil of something. Virgil is not impressed. That’s all I got,” he whispered back.
“Got on what?” Remus asked curiously. Roman glared at him, not willing to say anything if Virgil hadn’t.
“Oh, Roman and Virgil have a magic bond and they have this cool thing where they talk without talking now,” Patton summarized helpfully, glad that he wasn’t the topic anymore Roman assumed.
“Really?” Remus said intrigued.
“It was an accident,” Roman insisted. “When we found Virgil’s ashes I didn’t expect to be touching human remains, I panicked and tried a cleansing spell and then Virgil started to reform and my magic mixed with his and now here we are,” Roman insisted.
“It is probably for the best that it did happen though,” Logan pointed out. “We would likely not have been so quick to trust Virgil had it not been for Roman being so connected to Virgil’s emotions,” he pointed out.
“I might not have stuck around you guys for longer than necessary to grab some supplies and hand you a favor before getting home if I hadn’t felt your shock and worry. It alerted me that something was off and made me more cautious. Slowing down, as frustrating as it was at the time, probably was beneficial to preparing and planning the rescue mission,” Virgil admitted.
“Well, good that things turned out how they did,” the woman who’d initially opened the door for them said.
“My brother and his wife run the inn. They’ll have some space to spare and the resources to cook you a proper meal,” she offered.
“Thank you,” Virgil smiled before turning to Adam. “We’ll be on the move as soon as we have somewhere to go, but I’ll be back to catch up once things have settled,” he promised.
Adam nodded gratefully.
Logan offered their hostess the map. “The yellow circle is the area within which the high mage Janus should be found. This should help you in gathering relevant information,” he stated.
The woman nodded and then took them to a different building.
As they were guided outside, Roman gently touched Virgil's arm with his own to get his attention but not be noticed by someone else, specifically Remus.
Virgil glanced towards him, picking up on his attempt to be subtle.
Roman looked back at the house where the two elder men were watching them go to wave at them and then turned to Virgil curiously, already having his suspicions. Virgil smiled, fond accusation in his eyes. Roman turned away from him, embarrassed. Virgil subtly nudged him in comfort. Glanced back and showed his nostalgic affection for the young man Adam was when they knew one another. Then he looked at Roman, flooding him with the inferno of affection, completely consuming the embers of what remained of whatever once existed between him and Adam.
Roman felt a little silly for being jealous of an elderly person. But Virgil didn't seem to fault him for that.
"You weren't kidding. This is gonna be fun," Remus chuckled. Great. So he did catch on.
“Drop it Remus,” Virgil sighed.
“Aw come on V. You haven’t had a magic bond since school. It’s a little intriguing,” Remus shrugged.
“That you know off,” Virgil stated, making Remus gasp offended. “You bonded with someone other than me or J on purpose?” he asked. Virgil just smirked and walked on. Though Roman could tell he hadn’t just made that up to rile Remus up.
He wondered who he’d chosen to bond with.
"Jessica! Peter! Guests for Grandfather. They need rooms and a meal!" Their guide called out they entered the Inn. Behind the bar stood a young couple looking surprised at their arrival. Middle of the day was not exactly rush hour.
"We don't need to use the beds, and we only need the space for an hour," Virgil promised gently. His hood once again securely over his head. "And we got gold to pay," Remus added.
"Um. Well, the rooms are just cleaned out and I don't expect anyone till dinner. So uh... how many rooms?
"A single one if there is enough space for all of us to sit comfortably," Virgil offered. Tossing Remus a warning glance to which the high mage pouted.
Jessica nodded, grabbed a key, and led the way.
"Here you go. I'll have a stew and some bread ready when you get back," she offered as she opened the door for them and handed Virgil the key.
"Thank you," he bid before closing the door and turning to the group.
"Everyone knows the drill. Roman I want to try and see if I can teach you a few things about being a phoenix high Mage while resting. Are you okay with that?" Virgil asked.
Roman frowned, pretending to be confused for a moment before coming to a realization. "Like how you showed us your memory for clues," he guessed so no one would know there'd been a much more recent experience for Roman.
Virgil nodded though his emotions searched for confirmation. He wanted to know if Roman wanted it to be like last night or like the first time.
Roman pressed on with confidence, indicating his desire for them to be one again.
"Ooh first a magic bond, now sharing a dream? Virgil you always had favorites, but you're never so obvious about it," Remus teased.
"Shut it Remus," Virgil warned as he locked the door so they wouldn't be interrupted.
"I'm being serious!" Remus insisted, throwing an arm around Roman's shoulder. "Seriously, seriously though," he whispered in Roman's ear. "He is thick as a rock when it comes to guys liking him." Roman doubted that but Remus' ignorance seemed to be a source of amusement for Virgil so he didn’t correct him.
"But I'm pretty confident he likes you. So when you make your move, lay it on thick," he advised. Roman was taken aback. He hadn't expected to get Remus' approval. Not that he'd wanted it. Virgil's as the only approval that mattered.
Still. He appreciated the gesture, even if he was not going to admit that.
"Get of me," he huffed as he broke from his maybe great something uncle's grip. “I think I am currently a bit more aware of what he does and does not feel than you,” he pointed out dismissively before turning to Virgil.
"I'd love that. Thank you," he told Virgil. He could hear Remus sigh defeated. Thinking he'd failed to be a good guide for his 'nephew' probably.
"Alright. Come sit with me. We have an hour," Virgil reminded him. Roman nodded and joined Virgil, where he sat on the floor. They sat themselves back to back.
"Wanna cuddle?" Remus suggested to someone. Probably Patton. "No, thank you," Patton squeaked.
"Great, now there's four," Logan muttered. And then it went quiet, and Roman could focus.
He was five and looked up at his grandfather with big eyes. Under the wonder and excitement there was surprise that was not his own.
"Roman, my boy. I will tell you the tale of the birth of the marvelous town me, my father and your father grew up in," his grandfather said weightily. “It was my father’s first memory. They traveled through an icy storm to find a new home to live with his parents and everyone from their former village. A band of rogues with terrible magic means had ransacked their village, poisoned their lands.” Roman could vividly imagine it, though he hadn’t at the time. Those bands of rogue wizards specializing in weather magic, turning it against the kingdom to send everyone in disarray.
“And no aid was coming for them, so they packed up and tried their luck elsewhere.
They were forced to travel under terrible circumstances Roman, but they had to find shelter. So, they braved the storm,” grandfather said dramatically putting his grandchild on the edge of his seat. “And finally, the gods heard their prayers for mercy and the storm died down. Just as they found themselves in a valley near a forest, a river between them and predators, but not impossible for humans to cross so they could hunt for food in the forest. They stood a chance at survival.
But my father didn’t remember that day because of the storm or the miraculous appearance of the perfect valley to live in.” Grandfather leaned in closer. “Not even for the white-blue feline monsters that emerged from the forest, jumping over the river with ease, just as they had settled in.” Roman gasped in shock.
“No. He remember it for what happened right after his father covered his fear frozen body with his own. Through his embrace he saw a bird, black as night swoop in between them and the advancing monsters. They cowered away just as the majestic creature lit up in purple flames and turned into a man. With a mere gesture of his hand he sent the monsters back to the forest. He stood there a moment, light pouring from him and encircling what would become our town,” grandfather said. “And then he turned and knelt down to meet my father’s gaze. And you know what he told him Roman?” Roman shook his head, entirely enraptured.
“He told him that he’d sorted out the issues with the neighbors and that they should have pleasant weather for a long while. And they did. And we do. Only gentle snowfall and regular showers to water our crops, a rare late night thunderstorm to enjoy from the safety of our homes. It was, and still is, a magnificent place to live,” grandfather said wisely.
“I suppose that is a no to moving with us?” Roman’s father said from behind him. The memory shifted.
He was sat in his dorm room reading a bundle of poems.
"Roman," Logan's voice called. "Will you please put that down? This is important," he insisted.
"I'm not slacking," Roman insisted. "These are written before the plague and honor the great mages of that time. Uncensored " Roman pointed out.
"Really?" Patton gasped. Nervous and excited at the same time.
Logan was silent. Craving the hidden knowledge, but also well aware that if the Council knew about this book, they'd probably ban it. It had likely been overlooked due to it being poetry. They weren't supposed to learn anything about the magic of that time if it was not vetted and deemed safe by the arch mage...
"Listen to this," Roman said, encouraged by the fact that no one was stopping him. "The flame of night, endlessly bright upon the crowd. The sky had fallen, the stars were enraged, yet it did not phase the mage of night. And thus he tamed the blazing stars, docile the hellhound laid at his feet,” Roman cited gently.
“Wow… That’s kind of cool,” Patton breathed.
Logan hummed, not wanting to admit that he agreed.
“Too bad that such magics led to a plague,” he pointed out.
“Yes, but still… I wonder what it was like, to live like that. Not having to worry that you offended Her,” Roman mused.
They didn’t mention the goddess of magic out loud when they could help it. His friends knew which ‘Her’ he meant.
“We will likely never know…” Logan sighed, also not happy with having their magic so limited.
“In any case, I found something… Peculiar,” the diviner of their group stated, shifting topic.
“What’s that?” Roman asked.
“The arch mage. There is nothing to find about his death. Not the date, not the cause. Not even that he died. His death should have been a state affair. But there was no mention of it made ever. He just seems to, disappear,” he informed them.
“Wait… He might not be dead?” Patton asked confused. They’d all assumed he was dead. But Logan was right there should’ve been some sort of record for that. If there wasn’t then that meant…
“Who is searching for him?” Roman asked.
“I don’t know, but they aren’t successful, clearly,” he stated.
Roman grinned, he knew that glint in his friend’s eye. That was the same look he’d had when they made their pact to become mages.
“What do you say we offer some help?” Logan suggested.
“How?” Patton wondered.
“I have been doing some research, there is a ritual that can elevate us beyond ordinary mages. It is difficult and dangerous, as we have to connect with the very fabric of magic on a deeper level. Being rejected is extremely likely, and who knows what might happen if we are. But with ample preparation, I believe we might succeed,” he announced.
Roman looked to Patton and then to Logan. They were once again on the same page. They’d take on this challenge together.
Roman let go of his hold of the past and felt himself be gently pulled in another direction.
He was lying in a field under a starlit sky. Minding his breath. Stardust next to him. Staring up at the endless void of dark and light.
"What are you doing?"
His concentration broken, he glanced at the boy who'd managed to settle at his side without him noticing.
He looked back up to the stars. "I am trying to commune with Magic," he explained.
The young man gasped. "You can do that!?" he whispered incredulously.
"Sort off," he said. "It takes a lot of focus though," he explained.
"What are you saying to her?" His student wondered.
He was silent and looked at the 14 year old. He didn't need to know about his suspicions. "I asked for some guidance," he said simply.
That got him a long moment of silence.
"Why did she make you a phoenix and not a dragon?" The teenager asked suddenly.
"Because I'm not a dragon. I'd be a terrible king," he stated.
"You're a great teacher," the young man countered. He chuckled. "I'm alright, I suppose," he allowed. "I wouldn't give it up for the world," he mused. The young man nodded in understanding.
"Want to comune with me?" He offered. In answer his student laid down next to him.
He blinked and he was in a hallway looking at his student. Now a young adult. He was eying the doors nervously. It was a different room, a different building and a different city. But it had the same design and the same function as the one he’d entered for his ascension.
"You will be fine. I'll be here when you get back," he promised.
"Thank you," his pupil said. "For sneaking me in here," he added.
"No problem. I wish I'd gone behind everyone's back when I became a great mage. I hated the whole circus," he admitted, making a face. His student laughed. "Well, see you later," the young mage bid before walking in and closing the doors.
He took a deep breath and held out his hands, a little pouch with herbs on his wrist. He had prepared the room. Now, he just had to activate the bubble. The guide would break the circle when it was time.
A bright flash, a gust of wind blew the doors open, and he stared wide-eyed at the silhouette of a dragon in the smoke. Then he blinked, and it was all back to normal.
His protege standing in the center, shaking. He rushed forward and embraced him. "I've got you," he promised.
"Did you know?" The young man whimpered into his shoulder.
"I had suspicions. I didn’t want that burden to be put upon you any sooner than necessary. No one has to know until you are ready," he promised.
"But the people..." the future king protested.
"Are well looked after by all of us," he assured him. "You don't need to take the crown until you are ready," he swore.
He felt the embrace tighten.
And then he was in the forest in his phoenix form his student stood before him holding one of his feathers, focusing. And then there was a golden phoenix before him.
"Welcome to flying 101. Your first lesson in preparation of ascending," he announced.
His pupil shook his head disoriented. "The phoenix senses will take some getting used to. Now, shall we?" It took a few tries and some encouragement in the face of defeat, but they took to the sky and the future king was having the time of his life. As they flew all around the lands that would someday become their kingdom, he explained becoming a high mage to him.
"You will no longer be looking up at the stars but feel like you are part of them. Like they are old friends. Magic will bend for you more easily. Like you know it's language. Basically, the same changes after becoming a mage and a great mage. But more extreme. You won't notice right away. Only when using spells at first.
As if you subconsciously give yourself more time to process. It's a lot. But once you get comfortable in your new body, magic will be as natural as breathing." he explained.
"How do I ascend?"
"When you are ready, you focus like you did when you first connected, and this time, you let it consume you. You will not disappear. You will be one with magic. When you are ready to accept that, it will happen as it should."
They flew in silence. "You will be there, right?"
"Until you send me away," he promised. He angled his body to gain altitude above a forest and then he dove down again. Heading straight for a castle. A new castle. One that would survive several centuries of both peace and war. But now it was shiny and new, only a decade old, built as crown jewel of the chosen capitol.
He landed in the courtyard, human once more. His student stood before him, surrounded by curious, confused, mages.
“Do you have it?” the younger mage said nervously.
“All taken care off,” he promised with a bow of his head. “You’ll do great,” he promised before walking back to give the soon to be high mage his space.
The young almost king took a deep breath and in a blaze, spread his wings and took to the sky. Growing bigger and bigger until a fully grown, golden dragon flew loops around the castle, letting out a mighty roar and flying off.
Virgil smirked proudly and conjured a table on which he laid out the newly made golden crown and the ten swords that had left the fire only that morning, enchanted and made ready for their pledge an hour ago.
When the king came back from marking his territory, he would be crowned and nine mages would be chosen as his advisors and confidants. Together the ten of them would reflect the ten main gods. Remus would often be jokingly referred to as the unofficial eleventh representative of eclipse, only showing up when it pleased him.
He looked up and blinked against the sun.
And then he was standing in front of the inn earlier today looking at Roman slowly transforming, before his eyes. His hair growing longer his skin changing color and then suddenly he was blinding to look at, for a moment he thought he saw wings and half expected to see a Pegasus appear. But no. When he could see him again he was a gorgeous white horse with golden eyes, though he could swear there were some red and purple hues in his manes when he moved his head and the light hit it just right.
He blinked and he was flying through the temple. To his horror he saw Roman taunt Remus into attacking him. For a terrifying moment he thought he was watching one of his closest friends torch a man he’d come to care deeply for in a dazzling short amount of time.
But the yellow and green flames Remus produced turned golden and red and even a little purple as they bend around Roman as though protecting, no embracing him.
Roman started glowing himself becoming one with the flames, making it just one whirling storm of fire.
And then it became a silhouette of a phoenix, bursting from the wave of flames with grace and regal purpose. It actually intimidated the chimera for a moment. Then the fire phoenix closed its wings and shrank down, leaving behind a faintly glowing Roman. Who still stood his ground like nothing had happened.
That idiot.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
after katsuki revealed to you the truth about his relationship with ejirou, you had an lightbulb moment before realizing the situation you were in. “Wait you both want to go out with..me?” You pointed your manicured finger at yourself in slight shock, still trying to wrap your head around it all. While katsuki sat up with his toned arms folded across his chest, “what are you the picky type?” He teased, yet still looking at you with that same unreadable expression. Yet his gaze still managing to make you feel small as fluttering began to stir in your stomach. “No no, that’s not what I’m saying, it’s just I’ve never..” you sighed in embarrassment, “I’m not one who gets asked out a lot. Especially not by two guys at once.” You rambled with an anxious laugh.
“Well nothing is set in stone yet, if you’re not comfortable with all of this we’ll understand. It’d be a shame though since you’re such a cutie.” Kiri explained, his voice easing your nerves and still making the situation you were in all the more nerve wracking. You smiled softly at the two, “I know, it’s just an adjustment is all…yknow, I would love to join you both for dinner. I do have to get home and tend to my bunny though.”
Katsuki scoffed playfully, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips. "A bunny? Don’t they die hella easy?" Eijirou chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's probably adorable, just like its owner." He winked, causing a heat to creep up your neck. You giggled nervously, pulling out your phone. "His name is thumper, little rascal but I love him. You said fondly, the sweetness in your words reaching both the men infront of you. Causing a glance to be shared between the both of them. “Actually I have a picture..." You scrolled through your photos, finally landing on a picture of a fluffy creature with long bunny ears. Both men leaned in, intrigued.
The smell of cologne and slight smoke filled your nose, causing your heart to race as you tried your best to not lose it infront them. Ejirous eyes flickering to your glossed brown lips momentarily with a flash of desire before looking back down at the bunny on your phone. "He looks like a damn turd," Katsuki muttered, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. You gasped in slight offense, “Thumper is not a turd blondie, he’s a stinker at best. A sweetheart all round.” Eijirou laughed heartily at your defense of Thumper, his infectious energy easing the tension building in the air. “You’ve got to admit, it’s a fitting nickname. He looks ready to cause a little trouble,” he teased, nudging Katsuki lightly, who wore an expression caught between mock seriousness and playful mischief. You couldn’t help but blush at how readily they engaged with your little world, their closeness giving you a sense of belonging you hadn’t expected when you’d first walked into this overwhelming situation.
Kiri leaned forward, his curiosity piqued as he asked, “What kind of trouble does Thumper get into? I can totally envision him planning an escape mission from his cage.” You then seeming found yourself animatedly rambling tales of Thumper’s little escapades—how he once managed to dig his way under the couch and steal a sock, or the time he chewed on the corner of the carpet while you weren’t looking. The laughter that erupted was genuine, and you felt a rush of warmth flood over you, slowly dissipating the earlier nerves.
Suddenly, Katsuki’s teasing demeanor softened as he watched you speak, the way your eyes sparkled with passion mesmerizing him. “Honestly I couldn’t picture my life without him and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” A thrill of excitement mixing with the realization that you might soon be sharing more than just an evening with these intriguing guys. Anxiety from moments before slowly dissipating, replaced by a warm, fuzzy feeling.
<3
"So, about dinner..."
"How about tomorrow night?" Eijirou suggested, glancing at Katsuki for confirmation. Katsuki nodded, tossing the keys to the shop to ejirou after locking up. His gaze now fixed on you as you look up from your phone. "Seven o'clock. We'll pick you up, and I’m cooking.” His tone was assertive, yet there was an underlying gentleness that you found surprisingly reassuring. You agreed, a sense of anticipation bubbling in your chest. This was definitely uncharted territory, but for some reason, you felt a strange sense of excitement about it. After taking a few pictures of your new tattoo you thanked katsuki and kiri again for their time and the 25 dollars off your service for reasons of “your appointment not taking too long”
You beamed happily as you all agreed for you to come over to dinner the following night, the anticipation bubbling inside you like a fizzy drink ready to overflow. The cool night air nipped gently at your skin, but it was a mere distraction compared to the warmth radiating from the two of them walking with you on either side. Their presence wrapped around you like a cozy blanket, heightening the fluttering sensation in your heart and the twist of excitement in your stomach. "Thumper's prolly shittin' all over your place right now 'cause yer taking too damn long," Katsuki quipped, breaking through your revelry with his signature blend of humor and mischief. You glanced at him, unable to suppress your laughter as you flipped him off playfully, feeling a delightful spark igniting between you.
"Really? You want me to go that badly that you're dragging Thumper into this?" you teased back, shooting him a mock-serious glare as you fished your keys out of your pocket. The mention of your mischievous little rabbit brought back fond memories, but you couldn't help but feel the warmth of friendship—and perhaps something more—blossoming amid the playful banter. Ignoring the chilly breeze, you found comfort in the casual ease of the moment, the laughter echoing softly in the night while the thrill of what was to come wrapped around you like the stars above. Each step toward your car was a stride toward an evening filled with warmth, excitement, and a sense of belonging that made your heart race just a little faster. “Look at you two gettin along, don’t forget about me cutie.” The redheads voice suddenly in your right ear making you nearly drop your keys as you unlocked your car. “Never! I look forward to hanging out with you both tomorrow night. However I’d be very disappointed if I got food poisoning from katsuki here.”
Katsuki sucked his teeth in retort. “Food poisoning? You should count yerself lucky you have an opportunity to taste my dishes, tiny” His smirk was infuriatingly charming, and you couldn’t help but chuckle as you slid into the driver’s seat. The way the moonlight caught his messy blonde hair made him look almost ethereal, a stark contrast to his tough exterior. Kiri’s flirty smile as he teased katsukis boldness was also ridiculously attractive. Ejirou’s strong and broad shoulders paired with a few healed scars on his forearms made you wonder what he’d look like without that black fitted tee on. Being around these two would definitely be an adjustment for your poor heart.
As you locked your car doors and rolled down the window to continue the banter, you could see the spark of mischief in his crimson eyes. “Please, you could burn water if you’re drunk enough, remember that time I-” “Shut up dumbass.” Seeing the tips of katsukis ears go pink made you giggle. Focusing back to you ejirou shot you that handsome smile once more, “take care okay cutie, we look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Right Kats?” Ejirous relentless teasing with katsuki was almost adorable the way he could shut up the fiesty blonde with just a nickname was honestly admirable. “Tch, ignore spiky’s dumbass and.. don’t take too long tiny.”
You waved goodbye to the two men, feeling an undeniable thrill buzzing through your veins as you watched the two of them retreat into the night. The laughter shared among you lingered in the air, wrapping around your heart like a warm embrace. Driving away, thoughts of tomorrow’s dinner filled your mind. You could almost envision Katsuki’s culinary chaos, interspersed with Kiri’s soft laughter and teasing jabs. The anticipation heightened with each passing moment, and your heart fluttered at the thought of the night ahead—a night where friendship might evolve into something deeper, something intoxicating.
As you pulled into your driveway, your mind drifted back to moments shared with the two of them—their playful banter, the camaraderie that felt different from any connection you had experienced before. The way Katsuki challenged you, his sharp tongue often softened by the kindness in his gaze. And Kiri, ever the gentle spirit, whose presence felt like a warm glow beside the fire. It was all too easy to imagine the three of you laughing together, the kind of laughter that echoed in your chest long after it ended. You could almost see the way their eyes would light up at something ridiculous, those shared glances brimming with understanding and ease.
Setting foot inside your home, a sense of longing washed over you, intertwining with thoughts of the warmth that awaited you the following night. You sighed, a small smile creeping onto your face as you thought of Thumper, who would no doubt be causing delightful havoc. “Don’t destroy everything, okay?” you whispered to the air, half-expecting the mischievous bunny to hear You couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Whatever nightmares the poor rabbit had in store for you, they paled in comparison to the excitement brewing in your heart.
As you settled into bed, the moonlight seeping through your window painted a gentle glow across your room. You couldn’t shake the feeling that tomorrow night would somehow change everything. It was a moment of significant potential—a space where laughter could lead to new feelings and connections. The thought ignited a spark of hope, an exhilaration that sent shivers down your spine. Tomorrow was not just another dinner; it was an invitation, a promise of something wonderful waiting to unfold.

BANGER POST AGAIN !!!
I both hate and love the ambiguity. Because I'm tryna think back to Bjorn (who lived an incredibly short life omg) but the difference is he was brain dead and couldn't fight back. The retired characters aren't. So he must've found a way to keep them steady??
And omg??? How he'd feel WHEN he dies??? I didn't even think of that. But that is honestly such a good point.
Now everything past this point I'm just assuming things again
Wayne loves life and I believe it's because of the free will he gets. Death would mean the end to all that possibility and fun shit to do. He seems like the kinda person to make his own meaning to life than find one (to me, at least). I don't think he'd think about his mortality too much cause he just lives in the moment. He doesn't think about the future or past, he just goes through time as it is. Wanna add on more to this but my brain's overheating.
First death was blunt. No torture, no build up, no nothing. He was led out and just bled??? He also said help me even though he was in THAT state.
I'm spewing shit here but maybe he was begging cam to save him. (And I think he might've asked Robin to help? I forgot so I won't talk about it until I reset☹️) I believe Wayne knows Cameron is Wayne is a pussy when it comes to confrontation so when Cam dies from an allergic reaction he caused, I doubt Wayne called for help with the possibility of Cam snitching. Then Cameron just comes back lol and they're back to pranks. Clearly he wants to live. He has a little hope that Cam would bring him back. And he does?? In short, the death was just that so Wayne had faith he'd be resurrected.
Second death, he does an oopsie and talks to justin. Then we see him help captive looking half dead and talking about how there's more people. Hear me out, what if Justin saw the retired cast get made into clones? I mean not literally. I don't think the captives would be kept in the same room as the one Justin would be experimenting in. He might've either seen how they struggled or possibly heard something (which also feels unlikely yk Justin might get soundproof walls or like uhh tranquilized them? (Sedated? Chloroform? Put them under anesthesia? What's the word?) idk I have too many thoughts on this).
The way Wayne looks is awful I can't even lie. No one can tell me he wasn't stressed out of his mind. But he's just been kept there? He either died by a bullet or by becoming Justin. But those deaths wouldn't just be quick. They had build up. And he might've lost hope and it didn't matter which way he got out of the situation, he just wanted to get out. So when he dies, he'd feel relief. But I'm still clinging onto the idea he doesn't want to lose his life so I'd think he'd so conflicted.
Then he's just brought back by the guy who saved him the first time. The same guy who killed him. Just brought back to suffer. Bitchy husk as a man I hope you don't come back. ( If he does I'm actually gonna be so pissed even though I love him mwah. Let him rest! )
I hate that I'm so invested in this.
AAAAAAAAA JUSTIN CASE UPDATE??? WHAT THE FUCK WHY DID HE JUST POST RHE SPOILERS TO THE NEXT INSTALLEMENT OF THE STROY RIGHT THERE INSREA DOF BEING LIKE YEAH IM DOING IT IM KILLING CAM RN FUCK ME (ron intended)
anywayssssss
nathaniel is dead, not very skibidi sigma of him at all but i’m not too surprised, cam’s been trying to get rid of ol’ nathan for a WHILE (besides, look at his last name. it was inevitable)
cam added a mary sue self insert oc that’s basically a god into the cgcu who’s summoned by racism and sexual jokes. damn.
i get the ending and it’s alright, but also seems anticlimactic. like cam shows up and tells justin “dude you’re a fictional made up character on the internet you’re already immortal 💀” and justin’s like “oh fr then ig i’ll stop” which isn’t that satisfying at all. i don’t like that ending the discord’s ending (ask me for an invite link if ur interested in the server, we’re all very cool) is much better since yk. it has actual character development.
personally? i don’t like this ending much and i am unsatisfied. it might be better if he actually posts it but i still don’t like it much. if only…….i finished the goddamn animation……..ughhh
also……….max? whipping it out? right there? cam you better film this part or else /hj

As an attempt at a polite "going forward" comment...
I do not plan to draw for Three Houses or Hopes for a long while. I know a lot of my followers are from the past four years and I appreciate that you followed me at all! But if you are only interested in the art of those characters I wanted to be clear and say you can unfollow me at any point if what i draw no longer aligns with what you want to see.
I might draw for other FEs (like Heroes or 13/14/17) but I do not want to get involved with 3H any more. I do have other interests and across tumblr, twitter (now inactive), and sometimes on discord I've heard enough "I thought it was (FE3H character)".
This is not one person doing it and it is not simply one character being mistaken. I simply want to distance myself from 3H and have unfollowed a few people that reblog art of it because it just leaves a lingering bad taste in my mouth.
Thank you very much for your time and I hope you can find artists who can provide art for topics you like.

i feel like im not making any sense but does anyone else feel like there are stories that let u run with them and ones that spell everything out for you
#im reading that post that says artists are directors of audience reaction and not its dictator:#'you cannot guarantee that everyone viewing your work will react as you are trying t make them react. a good artist knows that this is what#allows work to breath. by definition you cannot have art where the viewer brings nothing to the table ... this is why you have to let go of#the urge to plainly state in text exactly how you think the work should be interpreted ... its better to be misinterpreted sometimes than#to talk down to your audience. you wont even gain any control that way; people will still develop their opinions no matter what you do#im thinking abt this again cuz i was thinking maybe the thing that lets adventure time work so well the way it does is cuz it doesnt#take itself too seriously that it gives the audience enough room to fuck with subtext and then fuck with them back yknow. i think it was#mentioned somewhere that they werent even planning to run with the postapocalyptic elements that are hinted in the show but changed their#mind after the one off with the frozen businessmen and dominoed into marcy and simons backstory. on the other side there are stories that#explain too much to let the story speak for itself and i think it ends up having to do more with the crew trying to lead ppl in a certain#direction than expand on what they have and i see a lot of this with miraculous. like when interviews and tweets are used as word of god in#arguments and it becomes a little stifling to play around with it knowing the creator can just interject. u can say its the crews effort to#engage with its audience but it feels more like micromanaging. and none of this is to say there ISNT room for stories that spell things out#theyre just suited for different things. if sesame street tried abstract approaches to themes and nuance itd be counterproductive#a lot of things fly over my head so i need help picking things apart to get it- but it doesnt have to be from the story itself. ive picked#picked up or built on my own interpretations listening to other ppl share their thoughts which creates conversation around the same thing#sometimes stories will spell things out for you without being so obvious abt it that it feels like its woven into the text. my fav example#for this might be ATLA using younger characters as its main cast but instead of feeling like its dumbed down for kids to understand why war#is bad its framed from a childs point of view so younger audiences can pick up on it by relating to the characters. maybe an 8 year old#wont get how geopolitics works but at least they get 'hey the world is a little more complicated than everyone vs. fire nation'. same for#steven universe bc its like theyre trying to describe and put feelings into words that kids might not have so they have smth to start with#especially with the metaphors around relationships bc even if it looks unfamiliar as a kid now maybe the hope is for it to be smth you can#look back to. thats why it feels like these shows grew up with me.. instead of saving difficult topics for 'when im ready for it'#as if its preparing me for high school it gave me smth to turn in my hands and revisit again and again as i grow. stories that never#treated u as dumb all along. just someone who could learn and come back to it as many times as u need to. i loved SU for the longest time#but i felt guilty for enjoying it hearing the way ppl bash it. bc i was a kid and thought other ppl understood it better than me and made#feel bad for leaning into the message of paying forward kindness and not questioning why steven didnt punish the diamonds or hold them#accountable. but im rewatching it now and going oh. i still love this show and what it was trying to teach me#yapping#diary
