thank you! 💙💙💙 Leia/Leah/Lea/whatever is fascinating to me. she is the ultimate unknown. what was she like? how involved (or even aware of any details of the invasion) was she? Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.

actually you know what, as long as we're here, I think I WILL go ahead and just make some stuff up about what Silver might've inherited from her instead.

sometimes i’m sooooo blown away by the fact that kevin is so smart……. like yes he is the fox with the highest grades despite being also the fox with the tightest training schedule and yes he canonically gets called an obsessive genius and yes the extra content explicitly says he is both very smart and very willing to teach people. but really i am thinking about kevin playing reporters like fiddles, jean calling kevin too good of a liar to ever let anything slip, kevin going up to andrew post-game and wordlessly helping cover up the fact andrew is off his medicine by pretending andrew’s racquet had broken (and then proceeding to discreetly crush it in his hand when the foxes gather around andrew), kevin living a lifetime of walking on the edge of riko’s knife, kevin hiding french, hiding thea, kevin spotting potential from a mile away, kevin who even riko thought was brilliant and sharp-tongued. yeah……..!

eleven is fascinating to me because he came right off the back of tens horrible traumatic breakdown after he lost everything and he immediately tried to establish himself as the opposite of that. he is funny and goofy and almost childlike, and he bulldozes on in his adventures with amy like nothing happened at all. but then something happens and his masks slips and it's like oh! the core of this man is still anger. he is so so angry all of the time and this façade is the only thing stopping him from being consumed by it. he isn't over any of it and he hasn't moved on. he is wearing a fez and laughing but under that all that exists is age old anger and grief and it is going to consume him

imo for me phyuri is like...... like i understand why you would go for it as a 1:1 everything is flipped type of thing and all. but im more of the camp of like... for me its more fun to think, like, these are the same people, same personalities and aesthetics, but shifted a little on account of the lesbianism of it all. obviously i think dan would still have genderisms going on and like a deeply complicated relationship with femininity (i also think we'd have she/they in bio by like 2022 honestly) but also like. idk the lesbian relationship with femininity vs like the societal expectation of it is so inherently different & i think she would have a lot to say about it.... it's not like i think she'd be like super duper feminine but i do think exploring her relationship with it in a lesbian context would be like. a real thing for her yknow. like she is notttt shaving but i think she likes the occasional grungy makeup... smudgy eyeliner dark lip..... also i think sister daniel is still sister daniel. cranked up femme dyke drag. and where i think dan would have a complicated relationship with femininity i really truly dont think phil would care about it and even in closet era where shes performing it (badly) like it really just is not her. you already know my butch phil truth tho. like she'd literally still be hugely influenced by wanting to be oz and spike. meanwhile i think faith would do crazy things to dans brain chemistry. sorry this is such a stream of consciousness. just rambly 1 am thoughts. watch buffy

Anon, you have the. Best. Timing. Ever. I literally just finished an Arcane artstyle study with Katara of the Undercity as a subject!

My favorite Arcane character is and forever shall be Ekko (best boy). Other faves are Viktor (chronic illness baby) and Jinx (trauma gremlin).

As for the S1 scene... Besides the finale and that breathtaking Guns for Hire sequence? The Ekko/Jinx fight from ep 7. It broke me. (And turned me into a Timebomb shipper. Which was arguably worse.)
