i made a perirep college au bc it was 100% necessary (first fic here )

ANYWAYS “college bitterness” goes with the idea that peri was in fact a perfect child but secretly INCREDIBLY arrogant and petty behind closed doors, and college only ramped up this issue (yay) !!

of course, irep was always there for him, and due to his high level popularity, peri managed to drag a anti-fairy into a university for the first time ever (yay irep) !!

peri is a college superstar! praised for his natural-born skill to pass in flying colors in just about any category. he’s practically perfect (he is, just be for real). in the eyes of the public, he could do no wrong. literally. absolutely no wrong. he even invited his own anti-fairy to the university and the public praised him. despite that perfectionist energy radiating off him, peri is actually very bitter underneath the cheerful persona. if there is any flaw or negative aspect about a person, peri will discover it. he wouldn’t consider himself a gossiper, but he does love telling irep about every little thing. he knows he’s better than everyone, it’s basically engraved in his character, but he wouldn’t just show or tell the public that!

…irep might be the only one to get a pass to that side of him.

as for the infamous being, in typical anti-fairy fashion, irep is a college FAILURE. it mostly stems from the fact that he does not care about college whatsoever (there are a few classes he does tolerate but the teachers really REALLY don’t tolerate him), but also the main reason he finds himself being the first anti-fairy at college is all peri’s fault. the fairy dragged him to the university as a way to welcome the next in line to college, which irep reluctantly agreed to for whatever reason (he wouldn’t call it love it couldn’t be love no never). he will admit, he enjoys hearing peri rant on and on about the people there. knowing there was such an arrogant side to the fairy kept him tied to the university, as a way to keep tabs on everything going on (and maybe a little bit of love mixed in, but also hate he still really really hated peri).

what could go wrong? (a lot. a lot probably goes wrong idk i’m not even done with the second fic).

i will probably post more updates on tumblr bc it’s hard putting so much info into an ao3 fic but then also wanting to elaborate more but not wantibg to do so in the fic so tumblr it is (yay !!)
