Do you ever think about how almost all of N’s Pokémon throughout the first games were one offs he released after he battled you, how he cared about them all deeply enough that he thought it would be selfish to have them battle more than necessary. And do you ever think about how this is the case with all his Pokémon EXCEPT his Klinklang in the final battle at the league, where the second to last battle he had a Klink and this Klinklang is very likely that same Pokémon? Do you think this was a visual representation of his mindset wavering from a fixed point? How that Klink refused to leave him right away and he couldn’t bring himself to force them to leave because his mind is in so many different directions? He can keep them around just a little longer until he becomes champion, it won’t be long, he can bend things some so long as he doesn’t fully stray from his path…right?

Or is that just me am I the only one willing to be insane about Klinklang of all Pokémon

I like to think that during pfl (using his s9 characterization, not s10) wash is the guy you go to when you want to know something (ah la a line in the fall of reach novel I believe where chief says the enlisted personnel always seem to know stuff bc wash is clearly enlisted).

he's in a position where he's privy to information from the higher-ups, and he's friendly enough with the lower rungs that he knows the gossip going around. as a bonus though, wash ain't no narc, so if you want that information you need to offer him something of equivalent exchange (consequently fueling the 'guy who knows things' thing). for example, north had to tell him about using equipment in the field in order to get him to tell him what his meeting with internals was about.

wash isn't the only guy who knows things, of course, but he's the guy who has the widest base of general knowledge. ct is also someone who knows things, but she's a lot more specific, and what she lacks in scale she more than makes up for with how in-depth her knowledge is. wash is where you learn about something from, ct is where you get all the juicy details (to the point of it almost being tmi). she also has an equivalent exchange policy, but people tend to be a bit more reluctant to get information from her because of what her knowledge is (and the borderline 'insane conspiracy theorist' energy doesn't help either).

guys, guys. New CITF lore drop. I changed a few things. I wrote this after eating two spoon of ground coffee.

I've been thinking about the possibility of aliens existing, and this thought crossed my mind. Now the universe is vast, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were other sentient lifeforms existing beside us. But if there's none? That would be quite a disappointment for some people. No other species, no other worldly friend, Humanity is awfully lonely. Someone or maybe multiple out there is going take it upon themselves to create aliens with a goal of creating an equal companion for humans.

I sound a lil insane, but think about it. Humanity done very insane stuff before, why wouldn't this be a possibility?

And yes, im adding this to my little AU. Finally managed to think of a more interesting backstory for this (i think).

Ah yes, long long ago Humanity was the first to gain sentient. We've done the impossible and rise a top of the food chain. I know damn well a good chunk have dreamed of meeting aliens, learn their culture and technology, their superior mind-

And it's just a little, teeny tiny bit (very) disappointing that we're just... complete alone. We conquered the stars but at the cost of what? It's scary, to find out in the endless space, that us humans stand alone. Hopes of finding a companion for Earth or maybe even a superior species drop.

Almost. If we can't them, how about me we make them? Years upon years of evolutions and advancing, we can't stop just stop here now can we? So a new project of creating Humanity's equal start. In a pocket universe.

.... it is a lot more difficult than we thought.

It took us long enough to actually make one remotely gain consciousness. And it take even more to actually make one competent to thrive on it's own.

Some lead their own demise due to their sheer brute and strength, some far intelligent yet blinded by arrogance that they destroy themselves inside out, some couldn't even last a few hundreds years. Mistakes upon mistakes, fails upon fails.

Sometimes we resolve to man-made deity in hope it would create something that works. And even that would still be left with major issues.

How many failed attempts did God make when creating us?

As the project continue, at some point we would finally, after so so many attempts, manage to create something adequate. And you guess it, Cybertronians.

Admittedly, sentient vehicle robots sound strange. But if it work, it work. Despite being cyber species, they're made with a bit more resemblance toward humans. Reflecting some of our features, the way we walk, the way we talk. They have flaws, but so do we. And my goodness do their technologies feed our nerdiness. This is God creating humans in his image all over again

We should let them grow by themselves. Perhaps is our bias or the closeness we feel toward them, a bit of guidance wouldn't hurt, we can just left them on their own device after we're done? So when saw Cybertron in shambles, we did just that, lending a helping hand. We've been there before after all.

Fast forward, after leaving the pocket universe unsupervised momentarily. We came back to check, yeah... it's mayhem down there. This time Humanity would stand back to watch, and watch, and we got impatient. The Decepticon-Autobot war has been going on nonstop without an end, and we get worried it'd end up in the same result as the past attempts.

Again, we went down there. Maybe they remember us, maybe they don't at all. However we'd stay longer, we'd do more than just interfering; we're making a connection, a bond between two equals.

It been very lonely at the top.

this is one I actually have to put a little brain power into bc I actually haven’t thought super hard about this

- I think kremy and Gideon never verbally apologize to each other after a fight, both of them are way too prideful and awkward for that. Kremy I think would take it like a mom who cuts up fruit for you instead of apologizing. He doesn’t explicitly acknowledge that anything happened or is wrong but Gideon will be moping in the corner and kremy will be like “I made dinner, are you gonna come eat with me or what?” and instantly all is resolved. On Gideon’s part, I think it’s a combo of big sad puppy eyes and acts of service, just constantly going out of his way to do things for kremy to try to make up for it. I think gid does that a lot just anyways but he goes especially hard on it when he’s trying to apologize after a fight

- also coalecroux focused, these guys are so weird about physical affection. it’s either they are extremely awkward and strange about it or they are literally inside each others skin, no in between. Like I think with these two having been together for as long as they have, they have very naturally gotten super used to constantly hanging on to each other and having their arms wrapped around each other like second nature, neither of them even really realize they do it, but the SECOND anyone comments on it or causes them to think about it for even a second, they are instantly ten feet apart from each other and all awkward and sputtery about it. freaks, I hate them (affectionate)

- Frost is the kind of person who will appear to be completely doing his own thing and not paying attention at all when other people are talking but he is actually extremely engaged in the conversation, he just doesn’t feel the need to hold eye contact or stop doing what he’s doing (which is probably like reading a book or something similar which would appear to hold all his attention). Gricko is the most used to this and entirely unfazed by it but it takes most others a little while to understand it

- Gideon and Twig scheme about pranks to pull on frost together. Either that or just ganging up to make fun of him (affectionate) in general

- Twig tries to help show torbek how to clean and take care of his fur a little more. He’s not particularly good at it on his own but he’s trying and he appreciates it immensely

- frost. Kitty tendencies. he tries like really really hard not to show most of his cat qualities very often bc he does not want to draw attention to them but he has found himself making biscuits around people without realizing more than once

- Hootsie with each of the different krew members I think are all very fun dynamics. Frost is father #2 to her and will usually be the one taking care of her if gricko cannot as he is generally the most responsible and capable when it comes to taking care of her, though he will definitely sneak her more rat snacks than she’s supposed to have. Kremy is like the rich gay aunt who will absolutely spoil her rotten if given the opportunity. He never means to but he can never resist doing so. He will go full Karen mode to give her the world. I imagine hootsie in Gideon’s care like one of those movies where the plot revolves around a babysitter and the kid their watching going on a big wacky adventure and needing to get home before the parents do, and no matter zany the hijinks, they will always get back home and act like absolutely nothing happened when the parents do get home. He is one of hootsie’s favorite to play and cuddle with but he should probably not be solely responsible for her for extended periods of time. Torbek and hootsie are like bffs and also are great cuddle buddies but similarly he should never be left solely responsible for her it would not go well.

thinking abt an au where dazai convinces chuuya to ditch the pm and join the ada and he gives chuuya his trench coat bc "its tradition for new recruits to receive a piece of clothing from the person who brought them in"

also chuuya totally has to hem it and it STILL is nearly floor-length and he has to actually tie its belt and it goes off his shoulders (yk like that one official art that everyone loves you know the one)

dazai's like “chuuya you dont actually have to wear it if it really is too big we literally have a 21 cm height diff i understand”

but chuuya is so adamant on wearing it bc its the first sign he's gone into the light and it reminds him of detective murase and its a gift from dazai he can't just not wear the oversized trench coat

guys you can try to convince me of this movie's potential merits all you want but i need you to keep in mind that you're talking to someone who has consumed literally every piece of non-game zelda media ever released. any comic or film or show you want to cite as a good adaptation they've done before i have read or watched. i made a two hour video about it. i know exactly what their past attempts at adaptation have looked like. i have seen both the best and the absolute worst nintendo has to offer. and i truly think there is no way we get a good movie out of this
