for the third week of @shepscapades ’s hermitcraft character design event, i offer grian as an empires smp member!

ok back to hermpires! so i originally was gonna take an empire from s2 and just insert grian into it, but while browsing through the esmp s2 wiki i came across/remembered hermitopia and my brain went yep! this one. so i thought a bit about what grian would do if he was an empires smp member and how hermitopia would happen, and i think grian would crash the economy on purpose. i mean it almost already happened when the hermitpires crossover happened so i dont think im too far off. i think grian originally exported something simple, like maybe sugarcanes or mud, something easy to farm yknow, but then i dunno got bored or something so he made a couple more farms. then kept making more farms. then the hermitopia we all know and love happened!

actually maybe hermitopia isnt grians first empire. i think grian has a separate empire but decided to invite his friends to help him make some farms and then it just kept going. then hermitopia happened. i like the collaboration aspect of hermitopia so i think thats how that happens. hermitopia isnt necessarily grian's but its under his command so it gets called his. (isnt there a word for this? was it vassalage? i think its vassalage)

with that in mind i went with a robot-y grian because grumbot and a snazzy cool suit because business man (sidenote im looking over my pre art notes and one of them is just capitalism man and. yeah! not wrong). i gave him more steampunk-y wings than the usual feathery ones cause that fit better. i gave him a crown not really sure why but it fits since without it the design was more Just A Guy but with it he's more Emperor yknow. the buttons have a g on it because he would and an (attempted) gold trim cause that looked nice and fancy. originally he was gonna have four wings cause fun fact four wings is part of my base grian design but four wings kind of crowded the drawing so i didnt include them (sad) and i also didnt include the tail hes supposed to have because i couldnt find a good way to add it in with the pose. but in my heart he has both four wings and a tail

now why magazine style artwork? i 'unno. i thought itd look cool. and it does!! it looks SO cool!!! im so proud of it. recap magazine!! because of course im gonna make a hermitcraft recap reference are you kidding me recap is practically already a magazine reporting what gossip is happening on the hermitcraft server on any given week. its very specifically volume 9 issue 34 because thats when the crossover happened season 9 week 34 babey we love little esoteric details hell yeah!! i looked up how magazine covers work and its supposed to be like, main article big and smaller supporting side articles just kinda floating around so i did that!! and i made them funney references because of course i did! local bard catches scurvy because you cannot convince me that oli orionsound would not catch scurvy he would. does god is gay is a reference to that does bruno mars is gay nonsense article that makes me laugh everytime specifically in reference about mr smallish bean because he. has so many children. and none of them as far as i know from the lady server members theyre all lovechilds from gay lovers its hysterical and hilarious. quit your job join our sun cult is about the dawn empire because thatse the vibe that empire gives me and i think its funny. also!! thats hermitopia!! in the background!! i got the image off of the empires smp wiki and just Biggen'd it and it makes a bomb ass background hell yeah ^-^!!

Me being normal lasted for. 3 seconds. I'm infodumping. Now. Im gonna make this somewhat vague and more modern au coded so no spoilers but Ouch. Im ouching because theyre yearning but theyr MAD at each other.

Yuta and Emyst don't get mad at each other often of course, but it really hurts when these things happen. Yuta is a lot more soft than she, and I, let on. She's like a little baby holding up a cardboard cutout of an evil villain, and Emyst sort of falls for it sort of doesn't- They know that something is up, but for Emyst's mental unwellness it also works out. Emyst can reaffirm that no one is trustworthy and that they will never be important to anyone, meanwhile Yuta doing her self destructive Stuff is telling herself: wow. I really am the monster(hey girl, maybe u are! jk a little).

In the canon world, the break up is.... kinda slowburn break up tbh and its more on Emyst's side, their fear of accepting others and seeing other's perspectives really influences everything. Then Yuta gets hurt because she feels that due to Emysts actions, she is the monster. Alright hold on. I dont know if this will make sense but the two occurrences are like opposites of each other. in the canon world emysts fear of being hurt and let down acts first, but in the modern yuta's fear of being the perpetrator of evil kicks in first. Funny. wow. Ehehe. (im normal).

Anyway, in the modern au everything is so lonely and sad for them for a month. And the mlm also get "split up" too. I havent introduced Fey and Janna here yet, but I will soon. Fey is by Yuta's side because he knows that she is unfortunately super unstable. Theres even a point where Yuta tries to cut off Fey(for an entire fucking week, they talk everyday.) and he's like oh this girl is actually! off her rocker!. Yuta also crashes out on her parents[WARNING: SHE WILL REGRET THIS] lmfao like. Her mom is basically like uhm. focus on working <3 and her dad is like can u stop being gay. honestly its one of those things that uncomfortably can remind you that mikey here is just 13 years old. he's not an emotionally intuitive therapist friend, he's occasionally very condescending in an attempt and he doesn't really understand the core of problems that he tries to fix. really ive always seen his vested interest in draxum starting as more of a "look how good i am by being able to reform this bad guy" and turning into actual compassion and care as he gets to know him, which would explain why he acts so unserious about it at the start lmao

he does try to push splinter to forgive draxum too, and its clear splinter's mutation created this horrendous body dysmorphia for him that was a big reason for his depression. it also ruined his life!! mikey is not old enough to understand how complicated that really is, he doesn't know why everyone cant just get along!!!

even as he's growing, i dont think he really understands why leo is so upset about the roof thing, and why that's something that's genuinely traumatic for him. for now at leWhat who said that

silly straws page - i read in 'dipper and mabel's guide to mystery and nonstop fun' that bill likes silly straws and thought it was a silly random tidbit, imagine how surprised i was when i realized there was LORE behind it.. im still figuring out some codes bc i dont wanna look them up and im having so much fun !!

stanford trying to keep me from reading the book page - "you cant hear the disappointed sigh im making rn, but i assure you it's devastating" i mean he failed to stop me from reading the entire thing in one sitting but i was just very happy to see ford's cursive again. It was really funny seeing him trying to guess what the reader would be convinced by (i saw the moth picture and thought 'whats that called, a goth moth?' I laughed out loud when it turned out that was actually its name)

i believe his name is vessel. he named himself in the "omg this is such a good word im gonna look so chill and swag if i change my name to it" (looks like a loser) way, not the trans way. bro is Painfully cishet dfhjg but like,, hes a hipster and a condescending dick and thats. all i had tbh.

but now im thinking abt making him Youtube Guys roommate/fellow youtuber who all the fans ship him with (this is a bad thing btw i dont,, ship real ppl ofc lmao) and i Do wanna redesign him a tad but ..... the bones of smth more fleshed out are there now.... hes not just Some Guy Ana Kills....

the idea thus far is that Youtube Guy knew abt what vessel did to ana, but kept quiet for their careers + thats his Roommate and Best Friend. he had the capacity to kill his own girlfriend (albeit Sort of unintentionally), if Guy speaks up vessel is Absolutely going to kill him!!! something something toxic yaoi but its not really yaoi and theyre queerbaiting the internet and Guy doesnt feel safe around vessel anymore<3

i Could make them the same guy (they look similar but im gonna change that) but. the funny youtuber yaoi appealed to me more than the more logical answer dfghjd maybe ill consider it sometime in the future but what abt my two content creators who start to lose their sense of self through years of appeasing the parasocial audience in Very different ways (one thinks hes the greatest thing ever, even above murder and the other is scared and sad and lost all the time) ?? i like them a lot and what are ocs for if not mashing together random silly tropes you enjoy?

Last song: Winter Anymore, by critical role. I think we can all establish that Ashley Johnson is a natural treasure, and she nailed this song aswell. Yasha really hits close to the heart, and Ashley's voice makes it a bullseye.

Favourite colour: a kind of dark blue, but its not really dark. It goes a bit towards green. Idk how to describe it but its lightdarkblue

Last book: Thieves Gambit by Kayvion Lewis, i havent finished it yet, but i blame school. Break has started so ill probably have it finished within a few days. Im really in love with it already. After that i think im gonna read sword catcher, wich i have already bought, and maybe ill finish Percy Jackson and the chalice of the gods, but im kinda saving that for a sad day cause it just gives me that nostalgia giggles.

Last Movie: Bad mom's 2, its a Christmas movie and it was actually pretty funny. I watched it with my mom, since she wanted to watch a Christmas movie with me and this one didnt seem all too bad. If we're talking kind of movies i like: marvel and Disney movies, but basically anything fantasy with sparks of humor and trauma (yes Disney does trauma in their movies you just have to look for it)

Last tv-show: Does critical role count? If not i would bet it is the legend of vox machina. Yes im critically critical role obsessed, they have become a part of me. But anyways i really wanna watch arcane and even more so since some of my friends from the uk told me its really good and id really like it. I also watch a lot of British detectives, no im not from Britain, but i wouldnt know wich one i watched last+its something of a tradition with my parents so i didnt really count them.

I love spicy food but i dont really crave it, i would also say it really depends on the moment and what ive eaten already cause my stomach is very specific with what it can handle at a certain moment of my day...

Relationship status: Singleeeeeee. Isnt everyone? No i just tell myself that. Seriously tho i really dont mind it, its something i choose for myself as i believe i dont really have the time for a relationship. I do have the time im just not willing to sacrifice it wich i think says enough. (Also im pretty young so im good)

Last thing I googled: Sims 4 cheat codes, I installed the game a week ago and got some spare time on my hands yesterday so I decided to play a bit, the game however went a little too slow for my stress-powered brain so i decided to speed up the process.

Current obsession: Critical role/bg3, i am in love with the cr cast and they really feel like older siblings to me, as i am an only child. And bg3 just is an amazing game and the voice actors are also such a lovely community (i sense a pattern here, Hmm) I am Particularly in love with aliona and jen(iffer English) they are such a cutesy couple and are just warmth all around.

It starts tomorrow and i already have so many fun things planned. Im going ice skating, watching my series and hopefully catching up a bit on critical role c2. I am also really looking forward to having time to get better at New skills, i have been attempting to learn blender but have been stuck on the same part of a tutorial for 3 months. My reading has greatly diminished aswell so im hoping the Christmas spirit will have me reading in the mornings from the comfort of my warm bed. Also gonna see some family over the holidays (i see them a lot but theyre getting older so i really like spending time with them, it brings me peace)

first off i kinda think its funny that this ship name is a frankenstiens monster of all my duo (friendship) names i came up with for these characters lol

but second of all no hate to anyone who does enjoy it but i just dont really like the ship of all 3 of them. its just not interesting to me. just not my thing

as for the trio angst is just inevitable with everything that happened. even if ggy didnt exist tony and ellis would still be getting ripped apart by tony liking gregory more and thatd be a whole thing theyd have to work through if tony even wanted to put in the effort (and if gregory didnt ditch tony for being a bully to stay with ellis before he got the chance). but yeah either scenario ellis is going through thr wringer. in canon he lost both his best friends and thinks theyre both dead and has to go through that grief. its rlly sad and he doesnt even know the full awful picture

wellz i wanted to make this primarily a plankaren shipping blog but i'll talk about other sbsp stuffs too :)

this post here is a thought stream so im just rambling to myself. nothing too fancy. i need to write out my excitement!!

i just finished season 1 and since i have the dvd, there are a lot of bonus features. Theyre all so cute <3 unfortunately, although it was brand new, the case cracked on its own and the first disc had some sort of smudge i couldnt get off, and so a lot of data wouldnt load. i had to watch the latter episodes another way. and theres an audio commentary for plankton! on the disc which made me sad. I'll check that out soon through my other method. but i did get to watch the commentary for karate choppers.... man the cast are dirty xD I'm surprised clancy brown just went ahead and swore in mr. krabs voice on an official dvd. It delights me, but if i was my child self i would have been like "WHAT!!!!!!!! SPONGEBOB IS FOR KIDS!!!!!!!!!" bahahaha.

mmm well on the other end of the sponge history, i have been watching newer episodes with my friend, usually plankton and karen themed ones.

karen for spot is very cute episode. It aired exactly a month ago today! I have a soft spot (lol) for dog episodes because well, i have a hyperactive doggy who i love very much x) to me its very cute that plankton has a dog. and its interesting to see karen struggle with something! i realize now my icon is from this episode... i just download it from somewhere with no context xD

we also watched plankton gets the boot... to me this is a waaaaay better version of karen 2.0. i hate that episode. even since i was a child, it felt sexist to me in a way i couldnt articulate at the time. plankton is more of a plot device than a character there. actually just trying to explain this kinda ticks me off so imma leave it at that lol. The only part of karen 2.0 i did like was when spongebob and mr krabs took karen in, that was sweet. (also karen crying is cute... that feels evil to say but it is true. v.v) ANYWAYS PLANKTON GETS THE BOOT!!! Plankton is immediately punished for being an asshole! Thats already a good sign haha! And spunch helps him to better himself for karen. That part was sweet. I said this to my friend but i think since networks are more lax now they're letting the characters be gayer than before xD patrick kissing spongebob on the cheek is cute. I see it as friendship but waaaaaaa they love each other!!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! the part where plankton is trying to make karen jealous is where i saw the contrast from karen 2.0. she does not care. its funny!!! i can say the only part i dislike is fatphobic plankton. Dx and well this might be more a personal thing, but sometimes when plankton and karen argue it feels too realistic to be funny? at the end of karen for spot it felt fine because Dog, but not relly here.

also patnocchio... I dont have much to say on this but i love the duo of patrick and plankton !!! and i love fairy karen... the end of the episode where plankton just yells KAREN made me hoot and holler a lil. heeheehoo. i am very entertained :)
