landonorris yes. i do have a girlfriend. no, it is not your business, but yet you’ve made it your business. we wanted to keep it private but now we can’t. the hate that my girlfriend, and any girl seen with me, has been getting is ridiculous. my girlfriend is the sweetest person in the world, and you don’t even bother to try to get to know her before you run her name through the dirt. i have been silent on this for too long. forgive me, my love.
i am so proud of you and what you are doing. thank you for giving me a chance (and saving my style, apparently) ❤️

tired of loving from afar
pairing: mason mount x reader warnings: none, mostly fluff with a tiny bit of angst! word count: 5.3k
a/n: not me writing for someone other than ben lmao?? been really in my mase feels lately so here's a fluffy little long distance relationship fic (also was very happy to read this morning that he's likely going to be back after the international break! my heart has been hurting for him this season 🥺) have a great weekend loves 💓
-
Of the three years you’ve been with Mason, the past six months have been the hardest by far.
You’d overcome other hurdles in your relationship, like adjusting to the exposure and demanding schedule of a professional footballer, learning to cope with your life being somewhat public and thousands of girls being in love with your boyfriend. None of this was nearly as challenging as having to adjust to him living 200 miles away from you.
His move to Manchester was bittersweet - you were so proud of him for getting a spot at such a massive club and finally receiving the appreciation and recognition he deserves. You knew he was happy to have a fresh start and a chance to prove himself as a player.
At the same time, it was incredibly emotional for him to leave his boyhood club, his friends, his family, and you all at the same time. You would’ve given anything to go with him, even if it meant leaving your own friends and family in London, but you were about to start your final year of uni there. You couldn’t just pack up and go, no matter how much you wanted to do so.
You’re passionate about your studies, and you knew it would all be worth it when you graduate and get a job in your chosen field - and in the same city as the man you love. You knew it was only a year.
That didn’t make it any easier to say goodbye.
You’ve both made a massive effort to see each other as much as humanly possible, going up to Manchester every time you have a break from classes or a weekend without an exam or assignment due. Mason has also come back to London any time he gets the chance, sometimes flying out just to see you for the day. You’ve been making it work, but it’s not nearly the same as living in the same house as him. Even when you were both super busy, you at least got to see each other when you woke up and before bed, and now all you have are texts and FaceTime calls.
On a night like tonight, when you’re exhausted from the week and you just want to be wrapped in his arms watching a film, FaceTime really feels like a poor replacement for the real thing.
“Hi, gorgeous,” Mason says, a sleepy smile on his face as he answers your call. “How was your day?”
“Hey, Mase,” you say, curling up with a blanket and admiring his face in the soft glow of his bedroom lamp. Judging by the fact that he’s in bed by quarter to nine, you figure he’s as worn out as you are. “It was okay, felt long. I finally turned in my essay, though.”
“Good work, babe, I’m sure you aced it like always.”
You blush a little, never growing tired of how he takes every opportunity to praise your intelligence. Any time someone asks about your studies, he does a full spiel about how smart you are.
“We’ll see,” you say. “How was your day, love? Any updates at physio?”
The way his smile instantly fades makes your heart drop to your stomach, fearing the worst.
“Yeah, um-it’s looking like a bit longer,” Mason says, and you can tell he’s trying to keep his voice steady so you don’t worry too much. “Maybe another few weeks. They’re not sure.”
“Oh, sweetheart,” you sigh. “I’m sorry. I know how frustrating this is.”
The hardest part about being away from Mason has unquestionably been watching him struggle from afar without being able to properly support him. From the rocky start to the season, to being out due to injuries basically ever since, it’s been torture not being there for him.
You went up straight away when he first injured his calf in November, needing to both emotionally and physically care for him, but you couldn’t stay long before your exams started. Since then, you’ve done your best to help from London - sending him care packages, calling him as much as your schedule allows, asking Luke and Anouska to keep an eye on him and let you know how he’s holding up.
In moments like these, though, what you really need is to hug him and tell him everything is going to be alright.
“Yeah, it’s a bit tough,” Mason admits, fiddling with his hoodie string. “But at least I’m back in partial training, it could be worse. I could’ve done my ACL or something, you know? I’ve been pretty lucky in my career so far.”
One of the many things you love about him is his infectious optimism, how he always sees the best in situations and in people.
Right now, though, you’re not sure you fully believe the words leaving his mouth. He looks so disheartened and downtrodden.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” you ask, frowning. “I know it’s not the news you’re expecting, you’re allowed to be disappointed.”
“I’ll be fine, angel, don’t worry about me,” Mason reassures you. “Just missing you a little extra today.”
“Me too,” you murmur, touching the screen and wishing it were his face. “I’m sorry I can’t make it up this weekend, but this group assignment-“
“Don’t apologize, baby, I know how busy you are this term,” Mason cuts you off, just as he always does when you try to apologize for being so far away.
You do the same to him when he tries to say he’s sorry for uprooting your life together, for not being there when you’re stressed about school or just having a bad day. Truthfully, neither of you are at fault, it’s just life. But it still sucks sometimes.
“We’ll see each other in a few weeks when I have my reading break,” you remind him. “Just a while longer.”
“I know, I’m counting down the minutes,” Mason smiles.
You talk for a little while longer before you reluctantly have to go so you can get ready for bed, and you promise to call him again tomorrow night.
The sad look on his face when you say goodnight lingers in your mind as you shower and do your skincare routine, and by the time you climb into bed, you’ve made a decision.
First, you message your group for the assignment you’re working on and ask if you can push your planned meeting to Monday rather than Saturday. Next, you text Luke and ask him to make sure Mason doesn’t have plans tomorrow night.
Lastly, you book a train to Manchester, because you’ll be damned if you don’t go cheer up your man when he needs you.
-
The moment you arrive at the train station in Manchester the next day, you hop in an Uber and make your way straight to Mason’s.
You know that he’s still at training and will be for at least another hour or so, as you’ve been texting Luke for updates so Mason doesn’t get suspicious. It’s not unusual for you to ask how his day is going, but you don’t typically ask for the exact time he plans on leaving Carrington or instruct him to go straight home after training.
Using the key that Mason gave you when he moved in, insisting that it was still your home even if you don’t live there the majority of the time, you let yourself into his house.
You drop your bags and immediately get to work on creating the perfect cozy, romantic Friday night in.
By the time you get the text from Luke that he’s on his way back with Mason, having devised a fake plan of coming over to play FIFA after training to ensure Mason didn’t make other plans, you’re just finishing up.
You’ve successfully transformed his house, which he bought furnished and has put very little effort into making homey, into a much more welcoming environment.
You ordered flowers for the kitchen table, as well as enough groceries to make dinner for him tonight and to replenish his far too empty fridge. You did a bit of tidying, deciding to do a few loads of laundry for him when you noticed there was quite a pile forming, and it must have been a week or so since the cleaning service he pays for came.
You put some soft music on his speakers and lit a few candles in the kitchen as well, popping a bottle of white wine into the fridge so it’s ready for your dinner.
You’ve just started chopping a few veggies to get a head start on dinner when you hear the sound of the front door opening followed by distant voices, one of which you immediately recognize as Mason.
“Do you hear that music?”
The sound of your boyfriend’s voice after weeks apart fills your stomach with butterflies - you’re just as giddy to see him as you were in your early days of dating.
“Probably the neighbours, mate,” Luke responds, still playing along with your ruse.
“I don’t think-“
Finally, the guys turn the corner into the kitchen, and you see Mason come into view with Luke trailing behind him. His eyes widen in surprise for a moment, slightly startled by there being someone in his house, and then he realizes it’s you and his mouth falls open in shock.
“Surprise,” you say shyly, while Mason is still at a loss for words.
He immediately drops his training bag to the floor and makes a beeline for you, pulling you into a tight hug and lifting you off your feet before you can even hug him back properly.
You relax into his arms right away, squeezing him just as tightly as he’s squeezing you and breathing in the familiar scent of his soap and aftershave, freshly showered after training. It’s the same scent that lingers on the t-shirts and hoodies that you steal from him every time you come up, wearing them until you regrettably have to put them through the wash.
“Baby,” Mason mumbles into your neck, pressing little kisses there. “I can’t believe you’re here.”
“I’m here,” you confirm, wrapping your legs around his waist as he refuses to set you down or let you go. “I missed you way too much to wait another three weeks.”
He pulls back far enough to capture your lips in a sweet kiss, his hands sliding down to your thighs to support your weight as you kiss him back. You can feel the pieces of your world shifting back into place, your heart settling in your chest as you sink into his warmth.
Mason presses a few more quick pecks to your lips before reluctantly setting you down, arms still wrapped around you. It’s only then that you realize Luke is still here, shuffling awkwardly in the corner.
“Thanks for your help, Luke,” you say with a shy smile, moving to Mason’s side.
“Of course, the man never shuts up about how much he misses you, so it’s really a favour for me as well,” Luke jokes. “I’ll leave you guys. Enjoy your evening.”
“Thanks, mate,” Mason says with an eye roll and a grin before turning his attention back to you, pressing kisses to your head.
“Night, Luke! Give my love to Anouska and the kids,” you call out, though you’ve also turned back to face Mason and bury your face in his chest.
You remain in each other’s arms, just holding one another and breathing in and out for a minute or two.
You knew you missed him, but you don’t think you realized quite how much until right now. It’s taken such a toll on both of you being apart for so long.
“How long are you staying?” Mason asks quietly, almost like he’s afraid of the answer, as he lightly rubs your lower back.
“Until Monday morning,” you say. You wish it were longer, but three nights together is the best you’ve gotten in a long time.
“Really?” Mason asks, pulling back and looking at you with bright eyes. “I thought you had to do your group assignment tomorrow?”
“I pushed it to Monday, I had to come see you after we spoke last night.”
You reach up to cup Mason’s face with one hand, gently stroking his cheek with your thumb. Judging by the way he’s avoiding eye contact with you, you know you were right to come. He’s obviously been struggling with the disappointment of the never-ending injuries, all the uncertainty it’s brought.
“I’m okay,” he says softly, turning his face to press a kiss to your palm. “Now that you’re here, everything’s okay.”
You melt at his gentle words, but they don’t do much to ease your worries about his emotional wellbeing.
Mason gives you a quick peck on the forehead before looking around the room, noticing the food you’re preparing and the cozy, romantic vibe you created for your evening.
“What’s all this?” he asks, a small smile on his face.
You’re not keen to drop the subject, but you don’t want to ruin your rare weekend together by bombarding him with questions either. You know he’ll talk about it when he’s ready.
“I just ordered some food for dinner and restocked your fridge a bit,” you explain. “I figured you would be happy to stay in tonight, so I got stuff to make your favourite pasta.”
Before he can respond, the dryer beeps, signalling that the load is done. He raises an eyebrow at you.
“Are you doing laundry?”
“I just threw a couple loads of your clothes in, I noticed you were running behind,” you shrug.
Mason looks at you with complete awe, shaking his head in disbelief.
“You didn’t have to do all this,” he says softly. “You being here is enough. It’s more than enough.”
You smile, wrapping your arms around his neck once more.
“I know, but I wanted tonight to be perfect and relaxing,” you explain, pecking his lips. “No stressing about football or school or anything else. Just you and me.”
“You’re amazing, Y/N,” Mason sighs, squeezing your waist. “Can I help you cook?”
“No, but you can pour us both a glass of wine from the bottle in the fridge and sit down and tell me about your day,” you smile, kissing him one more time before pulling away to return to your meal preparations.
Mason does as told, sneaking another few kisses when he brings you over your glass, then sitting at one of the stools at the kitchen island.
You treasure this domesticity more than almost anything with him - the simple act of chatting about your days while making dinner is something you’ve missed terribly.
When the pasta is ready, you dish it out into two bowls and bring them over to the table.
“God, I missed your cooking,” Mason grins as he dives into his portion, obviously starving after a day of training. “It’s delicious, babe.”
“Thanks, Mase,” you reply, pouring yourself a little bit more wine. “You want some more?”
“Might as well, it’s not like I’m playing tomorrow,” Mason says, the offhand comment hurting your heart much more than he intended.
He’s still smiling at you as you pour his drink, but you don’t believe for a second that it’s real.
“Do you want to go tomorrow?” you ask after a minute of silence while you both eat. “I know you usually go to the home games, right?”
Mason shrugs. “Yeah, we can if you want.”
Once again, you don’t press him further, listening as he changes the subject and starts updating you on Ben’s latest girl troubles.
After you’ve finished and cleaned up, you head into the living room to catch up on the new episodes of Drive to Survive. You always save your favourite shows for when you’re together, sometimes dodging spoilers for weeks just so you can enjoy it properly with Mason.
The moment you sit down on the couch, Mason pulls you into his arms for the first real cuddle you’ve had in weeks. You very contently lean into him, resting your head on his chest and humming in delight as Mason slides his hand under your hoodie and begins to gently stroke your lower back. It’s not with the intention of anything sexual, though you’re sure that will come later, it’s just an innate need to be as close to you as possible.
It’s the most relaxed you’ve felt since he left your flat in London three weeks ago, your body and mind decompressing with every moment spent in his arms.
A few hours pass, and you can feel yourself growing tired, but you’re enjoying Mason’s commentary on the Alpine rivalry far too much to interrupt and suggest you go to bed. Your yawns are betraying you, though, and Mason begins to gently run his hand through your hair.
“You ready for bed, sweetheart?” he asks softly, kissing your forehead.
“It’s so early,” you murmur as you glance at the time on your phone, barely past 9PM, yet you can’t contain another small yawn which makes Mason chuckle. “Sorry, I guess I’m tired out from the week.”
“No worries, we have the whole weekend,” Mason smiles. “Honestly, I’m a bit worn out too. Wanna go upstairs and I’ll get us some water?”
You nod as he stands and helps you to your feet, pressing one more gentle kiss to your forehead before heading into the kitchen. You make your way up the stairs to his bedroom and head into his ensuite bathroom.
It occurs to you as you’re flicking the light on that you forgot to grab your toiletry bag from your suitcase in his room, and you’re just about to turn back for it when something catches your eye. On one of the shelves above the toilet, there’s an array of products that wasn’t here last time you visited. More specifically, there’s a version of just about every hair and skincare product you use on a regular basis, and you really doubt that Mason has taken up doing hair treatments or using Drunk Elephant serums.
Maybe it shouldn’t mean as much to you as it does - he’s always been thoughtful, and you know the expense of buying all this is nothing to him - but for some reason, the simple gesture nearly brings you to tears.
Mason appears in the doorway a moment later, smiling softly at you.
“You okay, love?”
“When did you buy all this stuff?” you ask, gesturing to the shelf.
“Oh, uh, a couple days after the last time I came to London,” Mason says casually. “I took pictures of everything in your bathroom to make sure I got the right stuff, I just wanted to make it easier for you when you visit.”
As you look into his soft, sincere gaze, your love for him feels more overwhelming than ever.
Which means your guilt does, too.
“Mase, I’m so sorry I haven’t been up to visit more lately,” you say, your voice unsteady. “I know you’ve been struggling, and I know you’ve been keeping a lot of it from me because I’m busy with uni, but you’re my priority and I should’ve-“
“Hey,” Mason says gently, interrupting you with a hand reaching up to cup your cheek. “Don’t ever apologize for focusing on your studies. I know how hard you’ve been working, and I’m so proud of you. You don’t need to worry about me, I’m gonna be fine.”
“It’s not fine,” you shake your head, tears now streaming down your face. “You’ve always been there for me, and now you’re in a new city and a new club and you’ve been dealing with injuries and I’m all the way across the country.”
“Y/N, we knew this would be hard, and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t,” Mason says, wiping your tears away with his thumbs. “But it’s not your fault I moved clubs while you still had a degree to finish, or that I’ve had a tough season. Some things are out of our control.”
You know he’s right, but it doesn’t make it any easier. Hearing his sad, defeated voice on the phone after a disappointing medical assessment or bad game and not being able to hold him has been one of the hardest things you’ve ever done.
“I just worry about you being here all alone,” you say quietly. “I know you have your teammates and you spend a lot of time with Luke, but in London you had me and all your friends and your family was closer and - I just hate that I’m not with you.”
“You’re here right now,” Mason says, pressing his forehead to yours for a moment. “You dropped everything to come see me today, babe. You have no idea how much that meant.”
“I would do it every weekend if I could.”
“I know,” he says with a sad smile. “And I would leave all of this and spend my time helping you study and supporting you if I could, but this is our reality for a little while longer, angel.”
You sigh, nodding in agreement and staring into his big brown eyes that bring you so much comfort.
“I’ve just missed you so much,” you murmur, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him in for a tight hug.
His own arms circle your waist and tug you impossibly closer, his nose buried in your hair so he can breathe you in.
“I know, baby, I’ve missed you too,” he exhales. “So, so much.”
You hold him for a while longer, cherishing every brush of his hand against your back and every kiss he presses to your temple. You want to memorize the feeling of his touch, so when you’re back in your bed in London a few days from now you can close your eyes and try to imagine you’re still in his arms.
After a few minutes, you break apart to finish preparing for bed. You brush your teeth together then go through your skincare routine while Mason watches fondly, letting you put some moisturizer on him when you’re done with it. Then he strips down to just his boxers, teasing you lovingly when you obviously check him out, and passes you a comfy t-shirt from his drawer to change into. You make a mental note to fill up your suitcase with a few of his hoodies before you leave - the ones you have at home no longer smell like him.
You climb into the bed together, noticing that the side you usually sleep on has all of its pillows in place and that the nightstand is almost empty except for the glass of water he set down for you. Like he’s still been leaving that space for you even when you’re not there to fill it.
“C’mere,” Mason says immediately, tugging you into his chest.
You relax against him, laying your head over his heartbeat and tracing his tattoos with your finger.
“Will you tell me how you’ve really been feeling lately?” you ask in a gentle voice. He immediately tenses, and you know he still doesn’t want to discuss it, but you’re not leaving Manchester without talking to him about this. “I saw the look on your face when I asked about the game tomorrow, babe. Please just talk to me.”
“I don’t want to burden you with all this,” Mason says, refusing to meet your gaze. “I know how busy you are-“
“I told you, you’re my priority, Mase,” you insist. “And it’s actually more concerning when I don’t know what’s going on with you. If you talk to me, then maybe I can help.”
Mason sighs and moves into a more upright position, still holding your hand and playing with your fingers as a way of grounding himself as he gathers his thoughts.
“I just never thought it would be like this, you know?” he mutters. “I thought that coming here would solve everything I was going through at Chelsea, but in a lot of ways it’s been even harder.”
You nod for him to continue, gently squeezing his hand.
“I thought when all the contract stuff was resolved and I was at a new club everything would be fine, but then it’s just been constant injuries and trying to adjust to a whole new life without actually being able to do the thing I love most,” he goes on, making your heart splinter even more. “Fifty-five million pounds and I don’t have a single goal to show for it.”
“You can’t help that you’ve been injured, baby,” you say softly, though you know he already knows that. “If you were in top form, you’d be scoring goals all over the place. I know it.”
He smiles slightly, always grateful for your neverending confidence in him. You’ve been his biggest fan from the moment you met, cheering him on through every high and low of his career.
“Maybe, but I haven’t had the chance to try,” he mutters. “I’m just stuck here, being useless to the club and hours away from you. I basically upended our lives just to end up not playing for months.”
“Mase, if I’m not allowed to feel guilty for us being apart, neither are you,” you say firmly. “Coming to United was the right decision. It may not feel like it now, but I promise it will in the long run. And if not, we’ll find a new place for you to show everyone how amazing of a footballer you are. Even if it’s in a different city or another country, we’ll figure it out.”
“Babe, I feel bad enough that you’re moving away from London to be here next year, I’m not gonna ask you to move again,” Mason says, still fiddling with your fingers. “I have to make it work here.”
“And I’m sure you will as soon as you’re better,” you tell him, bringing your joined hands to your lips. “But if it ends up not being a good fit, I will happily follow you anywhere you want to go.”
“Even the States?” Mason jokes, making you roll your eyes and poke him the ribs. “It would be cool to play with Messi.”
“You are not going to the MLS any time soon,” you reprimand him. “But yes, I would go to Florida for you, babe. That is how much I love you.”
Mason laughs, moving your joined hands so it’s his turn to lay kisses on your knuckles.
“Wouldn’t be so bad. The weather’s good, and we could hang out with the Beckhams,” he says, smiling against your skin. “We could take our kids to the beach-“
“Oh, our kids, huh?” you remark, raising an eyebrow.
“Well, by the time I’m actually ready to play in the MLS…”
“Alright, we’ll move to Florida with our hypothetical children in ten years,” you say decisively. “Then you can retire and stay home with them while I work.”
“I could take them to Disney World every day,” Mason sighs happily. “Oh, and the Harry Potter thing! Our kids would love that.”
As much as you’re both joking, the thought of a time in the future when you’re settled with a family and not having to deal with all the separation and uncertainty makes your heart feel warm and fuzzy. You can’t wait to have a family with him someday.
“In all seriousness, babe, you’ve already accomplished so much in your career and I know you’re going to do so many more amazing things,” you tell him, reaching out to cup his cheek. “And even more importantly, you are such an incredible person off the pitch.“
Mason blushes, leaning into your palm and holding it to his face so you don’t withdraw your touch. You know he struggles to take compliments sometimes, but you also know that this is something he needs to hear.
“Which is why I refuse to listen to you call yourself useless when you do so much for your family, the community, for me - you make everything better, Mase,” you say softly. “That’s why are so loved. It’s why I fell in love with you, not because of your job.”
He takes a moment to soak up what you’re saying, still holding your hand to his face and pressing a few kisses to your palm.
“You mean you’re not in it for the money?” he says after a minute, eliciting an eye roll from you.
“It’s mostly for the money, but the abs don’t hurt either,” you tease, poking his stomach and making him laugh out loud for the first time in as long as you can remember.
Mason pulls you into his arms again, leaning back and tucking you into his chest so your nose is pressed to his neck. You give him another tight squeeze, unable to get enough of his cuddles.
“Thank you so much, baby,” he mumbles into your hair as he slowly rubs his hand over your back. “For coming and for making me talk about this stuff. You always know exactly what I need.”
“Of course, my love,” you murmur. “Just promise me you’ll keep talking to me, okay? I don’t care how busy I am, I want to know what’s going on with you.”
“I promise,” Mason swears, squeezing your hand that rests over his heart. “And the same goes for you. I know how stressful this term has been, but I’m always here even if I can’t physically be there to help.”
“I know you are,” you smile. “And I know you’re the reason Ben or Woody brought me dinner or care packages before every midterm. They wouldn’t admit it, but I suspected they were under orders to check in on me.”
Mason chuckles. “Yeah, well, gotta send in the subs when I can’t do it myself.”
You hug him even tighter, throwing a leg over his and letting him shift you back into a more comfortable position for sleep. You’re yawning again, the exhaustion finally catching up to you now that the worry gnawing at your mind over Mason has been relieved.
“So, for tomorrow,” you say, your voice lower now that you’re both getting sleepy. “I think we should go to the game with Luke and Anouska, she already texted me and asked us to come over for dinner afterward. That way you and Luke can show your faces at Old Trafford and we can spend some time with them and the kids. Then, you and I can come back home and have a bit of a romantic night in.”
Mason doesn’t respond right away, and you give him a moment before you look up at him to see if something’s wrong. But when you do, you see only an adoring gaze and gentle smile on his face.
“Is that plan good with you?” you ask, “we don’t have to do any of it, I just thought-“
“No, no, it sounds perfect,” Mason cuts you off. “You’re perfect. I was just thinking about how much I love you.”
Your heart melts even more for him, if that’s possible, and you can’t resist leaning in to press another lingering kiss to his lips.
“I love you too,” you say, pressing a few more kisses to his cheeks and nose for good measure. “Now, let’s get a good night’s sleep so I can show you how much I love you in the morning, yeah?”
Mason nods with childlike enthusiasm, making you giggle again as you lay your head back on his chest.
You can’t wait for the time to come that all of your nights end like this, curled up next to the love of your life, but for now, you’re grateful for this one.
No matter how many miles are between you, your heart is always gonna be wherever Mason is. He’s your home, whether you’re on opposite ends of the globe or in the same bed.
You sleep better than you have in months.
please leave me a comment if you enjoyed this or send me an ask just to chat, love hearing from all of you xx

If your free (it's ok when your busy and need rest 😁 take care)
When Tommy and changretta reader have their first child a daughter . The little girl reminded Tommy of his late daughter ruby he's soft with her (plus protective) y/n can tell after he told her about what happened . He's got a chance with a daughter again it went well she's a daddy's girl with y/n can't stop smiling how her daughter makes Tommy soft to protective
I was going to make this a blurb but I decided to headcanon it instead!
•Tommy is 100% a girl dad!
•When he found out you were pregnant he actually cried ! He couldn’t believe it at first but after going to the doctor with you he was still in shock!
•it took a few tries to get you pregnant but he wasn’t complaining one bit on that!
•He got Arthur and John to help him set up the nursery which was a light pink!
•The whole family gave you a huge baby shower! Spoiled you with little dresses, shoes and even a cap to match Tommy’s!
•after you had your daughter Tommy instantly fell in love with her! She had your eyes and his nose! And more hair than John ! That was a Tommy joke.
•The first couple of months were hard for the both of you. The sleep schedule was trash. You couldn’t get out of bed, Tommy missed Ruby at times because this was his second daughter but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her any less.
•Her name ? Lillian Polly Shelby ! Of course she’s gotta be named after aunt Polly! Everyone called her Lilly for short.
•Tommy helped her take her first steps! He was a little salty her first word was Mama but she soon learned dada afterwards.
•When she was actually talking in short sentences she did really well. Tommy was in a meeting when she came in running around yelling “fuck!” All the men laughed including Tommy. He’d tell her that’s a grown up word to which she’d argue how he uses it all the time and so does mommy !
•on her fifth birthday Tommy gave her a locket that a picture of you and him in it! She loved that locket and wore it everywhere !!
•One her first day of school she came home upset because she missed the two of you! That night Tommy read her a bedtime story twice!
•As she got older she started noticing boys and Tommy did not like that ! She brought home a boy to study and Tommy made sure to keep his gun out to scare the boy and it worked.
•Lilly came home crying one day from school because a group of girls told her she’s ugly and that boiled his blood! He talked to his daughter about how looks don’t matter and its brains! He talked about how he fell in love with you and not just because you’re pretty but because you’re smart, funny, a good kisser to which she made a face ! Tommy got her to laugh !
•Soon enough his baby girl was graduating and going off to uni! He paid her for to go. She decided to go for business because she wanted to be like Tommy just not as violent!
•she’d visit on breaks and Tommy would always send her back to school with a little letter to remind her of home.
•Lilly met a boy! She brought him home one day and Tommy tested him in every way possible. He did not approve! Tommy knew the boy only liked her because of her name and money!
•He comforted Lilly. When she went back to study she focused hard and graduated top of her class.
•A few years later she did meet a boy that Tommy approved of! He even shook the boys hand the night they met! Pretty soon it was wedding day.
•Tommy held onto Lilly’s arm tightly doing his best to hold back his tears but it was impossible and started crying when he said “Her mother and I do!” And sat down next to you as he watched his little girl get married.
•When Tommy found out he was going to be a grandpa he about died! He was excited !
•When Lilly had the baby, she had a boy and named him Benjamin Thomas ! Tommy cried hearing that his grandson had his name! Tommy had lived a beautiful life .

THEY FIND OUT YOU LIKE BEING PRAISED !!
[request]
content : gender neutral reader, fluff, this is sfw don’t get too excited y’all, independent!reader, reader is a uni student in draken’s, reader is independent but also quite self critical at times :(, rindou having blood all over his arms whoopsies, also me having rindou brainrot so i went a little crazy with his... i love him i can’t help it,
word count : around 500-600 each <3 little scenarios for this one hehe
characters : draken, rindou
notes : okay hi !! long time no see y’all, college is so so insane rn and m sorry for being so dead T^T this was actually a request but i have deleted it with my old requests in my inbox and i only kept the ones i moved to my drafts whoopsies </3 i hope this isn’t too bad and i hope i haven’t gotten rusty from not writing for a little but yeah have some rindou and draken as my apology <3 thankyou to dee for giving me a little help on this when i was brain dead mwah i luv u <3
˗ˏˋ DRAKEN
draken knew you always preferred to teach yourself things, to stick to your own way of studying, to not have anyone or anything interfere with your routine during exam season. he knows, without fail, you’ll always reject his proposal to help you, but eventually he finds there’s nothing he loves more than to see your cheeks redden at his praise for your work. even if you push him off and tell him to let you continue <3
“why don’t you let me help, baby? wouldn’t you get it done faster?” he mumbled into your hair before reaching forwards to take your notes from you. “i don’t need help, kenny, ‘m fine! ‘s not about doing it fast, anyways.” of course you were. even if the bags under your eyes and very few hours sleep you had under your belt said otherwise. a kiss was pressed to your cheek before he sat himself down in the chair next to you, resting his head on his crossed arms as he looked up at you. draken decided not to push you for let him help. “how’d y’r exam t’day go? know you were dreadin’ that one.” it’s sweet, you think, the way his eyelids seem to be getting harder to hold open but he’s probably still thinking up a plan to work his way around your stubbornness to get you into bed at a reasonable time.
“it was fine,” you put your notes down and turned to face him, “i finished with time to spare, too, so i don’t think i did that bad.” of course you did well. you always do, draken thought with a smile. “c’mere.” he nodded his head to the side, signalling for you to sit in his lap. his embrace was comforting, warm, too warm, even, for your tired state couldn’t help but relax into it like you’d been longing to all day. “gettin’ tired, angel?” draken could practically feel you melting into him as he rubbed up and down your back. “mhm… but i gotta finish up, kenny, c’mon.” your attempt at moving back to your original chair was futile as draken pulled you back down into a gentle kiss.
“hmm… but my baby’s so smart, ain’t ya?” he spoke against your lips, and you couldn’t help the way your cheeks reddened at his comment. “don’t think you need t’do anymore when you’re already doing so good… think ya need to come to bed with me ‘n’ get some sleep, hm?” he could feel your smile against his cheek as he kissed anywhere he could without you shying away from him. draken almost chuckled at your actions. he’d always known you to be an independent person, dealing with everything yourself, and though he was no stranger to your stresses and anxieties, seeing you this flustered was rare to him. fuck, you’re so cute.
“what’s this all about, sweets?” he pinched your cheek between a pointer and thumb, “got somethin’ you wanna tell me?” draken’s grin is wide as you peer down into your lap. you know exactly what he wants you to say, to admit that all you want to hear right now is how good you’re doing, how clever you are, to have your hard work appreciated when you feel like it’s futile and a waste of time. though you shook your head as you met his eyes once again, “shut up.” draken hummed at your response, the chewing of your lip and the remains of your bashful smile gave him the wordless answer he wanted. “c’mon then, smart ass, y’re coming to bed with me,” he patted your thigh as a signal get up, “can’t have my clever little thing over workin’ yourself when you’ve got all those other exams to do, can i?”
˗ˏˋ RINDOU
if there was one thing rindou had learned about you it was that once you start something you want to finish it, and you want to finish it well. you want to finish it yourself, it doesn’t feel the same if someone helps you, you tell him. but he knows you’re only human, so when mikey comes and drops another tower of rindou’s paperwork on your desk when you’re already up to your neck in it and it’s almost two in the morning, it’s not hard for him to notice the cracks in your resilience
“what’re you still doin’ here?” you heard rindou mumble from the doorway of your office. blood covered his knuckles and fingers, under his rings, and trailed up to his forearms in spatters. his hair was tousled and messy, violet eyes sleepier than usual. from where he leaned, he looked frightening. beautiful, but frightning. “‘m finishing paperwork.” rindou raised a brow, almost confused, as he checked the clock. two in the morning? finishing paperwork? you must’ve gone mad; it looked like you’d barely started with the piles mikey had dropped on your desk. “that’s your work, is it?” he spoke from the front of your desk. “hm? oh, no, it’s yours,” you held up the sheet you’d been writing, “i already finished my work, but mikey just asked me to get a bit of yours done while you were gone… didn’t have to do all of it but i may as well since i’ve started it.” sleepy was the smile that rested on your face. so pretty, he thought.
rindou sighed in response to your commitment and strolled over to you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and giving your cheek a quick kiss. “y’know you don’t wanna do all that, baby, c’mon,” kiss, “y’half asleep anyways, let me deal with it tomorrow, kay? need t’rest that pretty head of yours now.” you sighed and slumped backwards into your chair. it’s just work, it’s not even yours, you thought to yourself. you just couldn’t stand having to hand over the responsibility of doing all that work to someone else. you knew that feeling was silly, though, you just couldn’t help it sometimes. the man behind you could already guess the response travelling up your throat, ready to be mumbled out in defeat. rindou pulled away and beckoned you with a finger to stand up, “why don’t you try thinkin’ of the stuff you've already done, hm? come here ‘n’ tell me about it, sweets.” you always appreciated rindou’s attempts at comforting you, despite him never being one to comfort people, only one to help them forget about their current issue.
you followed him to the couch in your office and laid your tired head in his lap, strong thighs like pillows to you. and although you mostly spoke through a yawn, you told him about the work you did that day. “mhm, good job, baby.” a thumb stroked your cheek before he pulled you up for a quick kiss or two by your jaw. your smile, shy and a little toothy, was felt against his lips as your cheeks reddened under his touch. “such a good little angel f’me, aren’t you? doin’ my work when you don’t need to.” he took note of how warm your cheeks were on the tips of his fingers and pulled away from your face so you could hide your timidity no longer.
rindou had always had an inkling, even before you were dating, that you enjoyed hearing things like that; having your work appreciated and acknowledged, feeling supported for once. your silly attempts at hiding your smile that never worked. he could tell you’d always been independent, enjoyed being independent, though he also knew that sometimes you wanted to take a break or to not do everything by yourself, to let someone hold your hand for a while. “i didn’t know you could be so shy, i thought you would’a told me to shut up by now.” you looked up at his stupid smirk, knowing he wanted to hear it from you. playful arguing was futile option as any attempt made was to refute rindou’s statement was a failed one. it was worth a shot. you placed your head back on his thighs and your smile said it all, “you like it when i tell you those things don’t you? it’s what you deserve to hear.”
your grin hadn’t faltered, a sigh passing your lips. “mhm... yeah.”
rindou knew he was going to tease you about this forever now. he also knew that you’d deny everything every single time <3
reblogs appreciated <33

"Go fuck yourself." "Fuck me yourself, you coward." for Cam?🤭
Looks like it's time to pick on Cam! Below the cut anon~ Alright, just a bit more. A couple more feet and you can toss this old couch down and never move it again, ever.
“Ugh. Why the hell did I offer to help you?” Cam sits his side of the couch down, letting it rest along the top of the stairs.
Your end is somehow angled so that it’s stuck, with a bit of repositioning and a good push it could make it through the doorway.
“Do I need to remind you that I’m the one who agreed to help you?” beads of sweat cling to your face, only causing you even more annoyance.
“Shit, sorry. Lunch is on me.” He throws you a half-smile, fingers running along the side of the old bulky couch. The very couch that graced your Aunt Emma’s living room for the past ten years at least. It's the same couch Cam fell off when you two were playing tag and busted his lip. In fact, you’re pretty sure it’s the very couch that Cam…
Cam pushes a headband up into his hair, helping to keep the sweaty strands off his forehead. You did not doubt that Emma would be calling asking if you saw a headband on your way back home.
“Do you remember that episode of Friends?”
“No.”
He snickers, “Piv-“
“Nooo, no don’t do the voice, Cam. Come on, I’m tired.”
Cam raises his voice ever so slightly, “Piv-“he lifts his side again, motioning for you to move, and thrusts his hips against the side. “-ot!”
With one hard thrust the couch moves, just enough that you can finally get your hands back on your side and yank it through. Honestly, you didn’t think he had it in him. Who knew he had that kind of…thrusting power?
“Remind me again why I rented an apartment without an elevator.”
It takes you a couple of minutes to get resituated and able to lift it back up. “Because you wanted to live near Em, plus it’s close to Uni, and-“
“Yeah, yeah alright. I get it, next time talk me out of it. I don’t care if you have to smack it out of me.”
“You really giving me a free pass to smack you right now?”
Cam narrows his eyes at you, causing you to snicker as the two continue down the hall. Passerby grumbling as you shuffle the last bit down the hall to Cam’s door. Once the two of you finally get it in both of you drop your ends, you flop on the couch groaning as Cam goes to retrieve some bottles of water from the fridge.
“So, whadya think?” Cam flops down on the couch beside you, his weight causing the couch to dip and causing him to slide next to you and almost in your lap.
You take a few gulps of water before allowing yourself a look around the apartment. Even with just a couch in it, the studio is relatively small. The only real wall in it just separates the bathroom from the rest. But it was Cam’s, if that’s good enough for him then that’s good enough for you.
“It’s cute. I can picture it now, a big TV right there,” you kick your leg out toward the opposite wall, “and a pile of clothes right there.” Jerking a finger behind you Cam gives you a sheepish smile at the small pile of clothes already stacked in the corner.
“Alright smart ass. It has the essentials. It might not be in the best part of town but at least it’s close to what matters.”
Cam watches as you walk over to the pile of clothes, picking through meticulously. When you finally settled on one, you begin to pull your shirt off and toss it in a separate pile, he grumbles something under his breath and averts his gaze as you join him.
“Noo,” your voice takes on a teasing tone, clasping your hands together as you bat your lashes at Cam. If there was ever a time to tease him, it was now after you helped lug that couch from Em’s to here. He could count it toward your payment since lunch wasn’t here. “did you really move here to be closer to me?”
Cam clicks his tongue, pushing you softly allowing his hand to linger on your arm. “In your dreams.”
“Oh, I bet I’m in plenty of your dreams, can’t say I blame you.” You shoot him a wink which only causes Cam to groan in return.
“Oh go fuck yourself.”
It was almost laughable at how easy he was making this for you, as you placed a hand on his arm and yanked him closer against you. The smirk you gave him was all too familiar and as soon as it’s on your face Cam’s brows shoot upwards.
“With how hard you thrust against the couch earlier, you should fuck me yourself, coward.” You begin to laugh, not aware of how Cam’s eyes widen, and his mouth drops open. As if he’s trying to find the words to say but nothing is good enough.
The blush that creeps onto his cheeks along his freckles causes you to cackle and only causes Cam to drop his head placing it against the crook of your neck to hide his embarrassment.

“Now class I hate to stress this enough but you have to take exquisite and thorough notes. It will not only guide you but help and take you to the correct path for this course,” said Professor Alto. I felt like rolling my eyes and walking out of the lecture room, but instead, I just turned over and laughed with Marie, who was already staring at me. “He says that every class period, I'm starting to get annoyed because we’ve been taking this class for the past month,” Marie snickers.
“True but in all honesty he does have a point,” I raise my eyebrow and look back at the Professor who was now walking back and forth presenting the slides. “Shut up. We get it you’re smart,” Marie groans and pushes my shoulder, taking out some gum and then paying attention forward. “I'm sorry, I would like to run my own business one day, and this is where I have to start first.” This time I push her shoulder, and hear her mutter a ‘Yeah yeah whatever…’
I grabbed my bag and pulled out my notebook, took different coloured pens, and began to write down the slides, using other different coloured pens to write important texts and or highlights. It’s just girly things. We would be here for a while, as this lecture would take up to three hours, so I got comfortable. “What are you wearing tonight?” Marie whispered, leaning her head on my shoulder as she typed away.
“Probably something black,” I shrugged, “I might wear this new corset top and black jeans since I'm racing tonight.” Marie looked over at me with wide eyes, “But isn't your car still in the shop?”
“No, it got fully fixed two days ago, and tonight I wanna see if the new adjustments are working properly,” I say, taking a sip of water and rubbing my eyes as they feel dry. “Y/n are you sure that’s a good idea though? You just got your car back, and knowing how you race, especially after just getting it back can be dangerous. If something happens, all that work that was done would go to waste,” Marie stresses, and I notice that because she began to talk with her hands.
“I know the risks, trust me. But I need this money for me, my mom, and my little sister. I'm working two double shifts and if I win tonight, I'm set for the next two months. It won’t be an easy race, but at this point what more can I do?” I sigh and rub my temple, a small migraine wanting to form.
It wasn't easy anymore. It became harder when we had to move out of my dad’s place as he began to become a different and mad person. It wasn’t the environment I wanted to be involved in, let alone my mother and sister. It became especially harder when he came and did mass destruction on our property, and tried to hurt us. The night repeatedly lives in my head, the screams, the yelling, the smashing windows, the red and blue lights, it's hard to sleep as any time I close my eyes I just see him.
I always had a great relationship with him. We were close and happy. I grew up wanting to be him, and he always set examples and tried for us. He would do my hair, teach me how to cook his chocolate chip cookies, and even go on to show me how to play the piano. We spent every weekend working in his mechanic shop, working on dear old Darla for one day to be driven by me. The old black Ford was now ruined into pieces when he went crazy after discovering he would be arrested.
What changed in him to become that way, was the question I kept repeating over and over again. If the truth comes out one day, maybe we can be at peace. But for now, it's being cautious and assuring the safety of my family. I sacrificed a lot to be able to support us, as well as my mom. The car racing was something I randomly got into, my mom didn't like it, but in a way for me, I escaped reality.
The adrenaline rush. The speed. The rush overtakes my body. The determination to win as the prize in the end holds a lot of possession. Maybe even the idea of it being illegal also took a more motive of why not, as bad as it sounded. I became a hell of a driver, I was the best of the best, and some people took that personally.
The tracks and races became a second home to me. The ability to conduct and take charge of my own was truly an honour. For once, only I listened to myself instead of others. For once I could do something that made me happy, as much as it felt wrong to do. I met people, good and bad, and stayed away from the bad as they reminded me of my dad. A weekend like tonight started at the tracks but indeed by the city in the underground club Sahara.
I saved enough to buy myself a 2014 black Dodge Challenger. Slowly I made work by changing the motor from a V6 to a V8, running to almost 470 horsepower. The rims were also replaced with all black, and I added other features like a loud exhaust and a cold air intake system, just recently. This would’ve never been done if I didn't have Jimmy, an old friend of my dad’s. He never questioned what I did to my car, just wished me ‘good luck, and be careful’.
When my mom found out about my car, she threatened to kick me out. That same night I brought back $1,800 and left them on the table, muttering a quick “This is why I do what I do”. Since then she hasn’t questioned, just used the money for savings, groceries, and bills. I would of course help out, especially on bigger and expensive things, like Uni. Uni was expensive, and I sure as heck was lucky to afford what I could.
My first race was over a year ago, in the older tracks leaving Madrid. It was a secluded area only known to nearby residents, or people like me who raced, or those who went to live life a little. You could expect anyone there. I knew of this place after Marie and her girlfriend Kaia took me. My first race was that same night after a girl got pissed at me for accidentally bumping her shoulder with her boyfriend.
One thing led to another, and then you saw me at the finish line in Marie’s Grey Nissan Altima. That baby could run, period.
Part of me could say I also got addicted to how much money it would bring home. I didn't care if it was clean or dirty money, it met my needs, and I was grateful for it. Multiple people have gone against me but they can’t race like I can. There are tips and tricks to it, whether it is releasing the clutch early or letting the car struggle a bit before making the shift. Slow down or maybe speed up. You learn along the way.
My biggest rivals of them all were Jacey and Jacqueline. They made my life a living hell a week before finals. They insisted and threatened me to race them or else I would be kicked out and can’t ever place my foot on the tracks. They were the best anyone had seen, but I knew what they wanted. They were a part of a malicious gang in the northern part of Spain. If I won, I would be free and they were to never bother me, but if I lost I would do laundering and drug exchange.
I won that night, by some miracle. It turned out Jacey was racing unfairly and it didn't count as he had cheated. They would always go against me, and it became sort of a rival race whenever we did go against each other. Like tonight. Tonight would be a big night, it would be a packed race, and surely every young adult would be there.
“Wait, wait, wait. You’re going against Jacqueline tonight? How could you have failed to tell me this?” Marie ran, her back across the wall as I got myself a redbull to survive the rest of the day. We had a 20-minute break, and now we were seated outside waiting to go back in.
“I didn’t know either, Max texted me this just a couple of hours ago,” I said, taking a sip of the energy drink. I pulled out my phone and showed her the message. “Well, I can see why you’re doing this then,” Marie points to the text of the amount of cash I could win. “What did you end up fixing in your car?”
“I did a bit of mostly everything. I added high-flow catalytic converters, high-flow mid pipes, high-flow fuel injectors, high-flow air induction systems, an upgraded header, and upgraded pulleys. Just newer stuff that the new challengers have nowadays,” I say, laughing at Marie's confused face staring back at me. “Well whatever you said, let’s hope it works out.”
“Trust me it will. Because you’ll be in the seat next to me to see” I smirked.
“Bitch no I am not, the fuck?” Marie gives me a puzzled look. I give her a look for using such profanity. I hated it, I didn't like such strong and hateful words, especially those that meant hurting someone's feelings. I never cursed, I just didn't see the fun or thrill of it, which shocked many.
“You are because you lost the bet last week. And Sheila is out of town. So better bring your mask and helmet,” I say, opening my iPad to get some studying done before my business class after this lecture. “Plus when have you ever turned down the opportunity to ride with me? I know you secretly love it,” I wink at her to which he just shakes her head and smirks.
“I'll do it, but only if you wear the black midi skirt I got you. As a matter of fact, I’ll ride with you only if you let me get you ready and get you sexy,” Marie says. I blush profusely and immediately shake my head no. I would rather die than be seen wearing anything more revealing than my boobs. I'm just too shy and not confident for it. I can’t rock outfits like Marie can.
“Funny but no. You know me, I am good with a revealing top and maybe some tight jeans,” I brushed her idea once again, but knowing how she could be, especially when she's a fashion major, it would be hard. “Either deal or no deal. You know you need me in order to race,” she tries to intimidate to which I finally agree. “I will make you the sexiest girl there. Who knows maybe you’ll be lucky and get laid,” she taunts, an evil grin on her lips.
“Marie!”
“Oh quit the act. We know you are shy and innocent, but you become a freak and a total show when you race. I'll see you tonight,” she winks and walks out, completely leaving the lecture.
—/— Jude’s Point of View —/—
After matches came recovery. And after recovery, it was either a day off or prepping for the next match. Luckily I had the gym area to myself, working with a physical trainer on my knee and doing a few exercises that were as much work. I just needed something to preoccupy my mind before I met with my publicist. It's not that I hated him, I just didn't tolerate such a person like him.
I dragged out this meeting as far as possible but knowing how he is, he wouldn't care. After briefly talking with the PT about a few stretches I could do at home, I walked down the cafeteria and met up with Eduardo, who invited lunch for the both of us. We sat down and just talked about the game plays and the upcoming international break.
Lunch went by quickly, now I found myself walking down the small hallway into the office that belonged to my publicist. I resented him even more for working at the training grounds. I would rather be anywhere else but here. I put myself together and walked into the office only for it to be empty. I just take a seat and go on my phone bored. When Jaime does walk in, he hangs up and opens the manilla folder, where stacks of papers are in.
“Jude you have to quit going out so much! Look at all these articles!” Jaime raised his voice and threw the printed papers onto the marble desk. I rolled my eyes and sunk into my chair, my legs naturally spread apart, as my hand came to my temple.
“Real Madrid’s new star boy stars on and off the pitch. Ancelotti’s new golden boy has a record similar to Grealish, could we expect to see the young player get involved in the same stuff? Oh, my favourite, Jude Bellingham is seen leaving the strip club after the place was recently investigated by local authorities!” Jaime read off the articles, leaning forward to slap the side of my head, when he noticed my unfazed look. “Okay, I get it! Shit!”
“No Jude you don’t get it! How many times have I told you this isn't England? You're in Spain. Dealing with both countries who are on your ass to find every single detail of you. They follow you around with a camera because you let them, you give them a reason too. It's already the fans doing it, but the paparazzi, no I won’t let that slide,”
“Okay, so what do you want me to do? I’ve done everything you’ve suggested me to do! I can’t stop them, or else I'll end up on the cover the next morning. I can’t just quit my fun, because of them. I deserve to have a nice evening with my friends and family, but they're always there!” I bite back.
Not even my mother keeps tabs on me like this man does. I appreciate Jaime, but it's moments like this where I want to get up and leave and do the opposite of what he tells me to do. He takes his job too seriously and overworks himself way too much. I can’t exactly be the person he wants me to be. I hate being driven around or being forced to be someone I'm not.
“We have no say and do on the paparazzi, you know that. But if you keep doing what you do, I'll have to get you a stricter PR contract, and I can assure you, it will be hell. You choose Jude. One more fuck up and it's the first text you’ll receive the next morning,” Jaime threatened.
“You can’t be serious. Jaime, I can’t be hidden away the entire time! I don’t give a shit about what they think of me! I'm focused on football and my family. I told you to let them be and write what they write!,” I say, standing up and grabbing my training bag to leave. “It's my job to protect your image as a person and footballer, Jude. And it will be like that. If you have such an issue, go ahead and fire me, but we both know what that will do for the both of us…”
“One more fuck up Jude, and you will see.” I scoff and walk out, slamming his door. The office workers jump in their seats, while I mumble out curses and insults towards him. Would he really go that far just to keep his job? Threaten my image for his self-satisfaction? Yes, he would. I sigh and scratch my chin impatiently, trying to come up with a different plan to avoid the PR contract he was talking about. But all I could do was come up with reasons and stuff to piss him off.
The idea of a PR stunt sounded stupid. Sure, I have had my share of scandals but nothing too serious like he dramatises. People just can't seem to stand the idea of no commitment, especially if it involves girls. They also couldn't stand the idea of a footballer wanting to go out and enjoy a night of themselves. Some people can be so unreasonable, like Jaime, I would say what I had to say, and I didn't care for anyone’s feelings especially if I spit out the truth.
“Yo! Hey Jude! What’s up? Looks like you got back from speaking with Carlo,” Eduardo comes up and dabs me up, teasing me for my stressed look. I chuckle, “Nah man. My publicist is pissing me off. Trying to tell me what to do and giving me shit about all these articles.”
“When will they learn,” he comments, his brow nudging to the obvious. “For the moment mine hasn't given me ‘advice’ or ‘warnings’ after our trip to South France.”
“Well lucky you. I just can’t stress about this shit right now. We have the upcoming important games, and I am determined to win. And if I do go out, he shouldn’t be up my ass about it every time,” I groan, taking out my phone and seeing a call from Aurélien. “Tchou, how can I help you?” I joke, referring to when he dealt with his situationship while on our trip to France.
“Ha ha, very funny. What are you up to tonight? We’re free tomorrow.”
“Probably nothing. Just walked out on my publicist, so If you have anything in mind to do, say it,” I put the phone on speaker so Eduardo could hear, and let him know. “Me and the guys were gonna head out the city to go to a car meet, out of Madrid,” he says. I give a look to Eduardo who just shrugs his shoulders not retaining the information.
“A car meet? Those exist here?”
“Yes, dumbass. You’d be surprised but, they're very fun. Although we shouldn't be there, it's the only place where people and paparazzi can’t recognize us. They treat each other and us like royalty, plus who wouldn’t mind some fun?” Aurélien says to us. I hesitate, only because of what just happened inside, but also the idea of it being illegal and caught. “You guys in or not?”
“Count me in.”
Jaime wouldn't know. And if Aurélien is saying we wouldn't be recognized, then why the fuck not? I'm not here to just pose for cameras and play. I'm also a regular person who deserves to live his life the way I want. Part of me thought of how bad this idea could be, but truthfully I didn’t give a shit, I just wanted to piss off Jaime. Aurélien advises us to dress nice since people who attended those car races often thought of them as fashion shows. Which is found myself calling the only girl who could help me out.
“Hey, Sunny? Sorry for the late call, could you help me out with an outfit for tonight? Just don't mention it to Jaime.”
—/— (Your Point of View) —/—
“Ok no- That’s like way too revealing! I couldn't pull that off” I brushed away the shortest skirt she found. “Nuh uh- No way. You're going to wear it, and it's going to be worn with these shoes and lace meshy top,” Marie comes behind me and puts both hangers to my front. “My whole butt is out in this skirt! People are gonna see my-” I waved with my hands to my lower region to which she snickers.
“Either you race or don’t,” Marie says, to which I just squint my eyes together. “Fine! I will at least pick out my jacket!” I pick up the clothes and quickly change into the pieces of clothes she gave me. My makeup was already done, a simple and not too heavy look since I had to wear a mask and helmet underneath while I raced. All I had to do was take my hair out of my rollers and apply some deodorant and jewellery and we could make the drive down.
Marie gasped as I walked out, clapping her hands excitedly as she approached me. “You look so fucking hot, I could make out with you!” Her hands roam and fix my skirt so they pull lower and hang around my hips. I give her a look but she quickly shrugs me. I go to the mirror and tug on both items. “I don't know whether to pull this up or or tug it down,” I say shuffling.
“Hurry! Fix your hair and put your boots on. You have a race to win!”
I pose for a selfie when I see Marie point her phone towards me, my hands on the steering wheel as I pull into the gravel road that heads to the main road to the tracks. Goosebumps raise my skin as I hear the music and loud car exhaust as we pull in. Other cars are doing donuts, which I find silly, or showing off their engines. “Hi Matty, how are ya tonight?” I ask the middle-aged man who sighs and hands me my racer number and time slot. He’s tired of his job, but just like everyone else here, he has his reasons. “Same old same old. I bet money on ya tonight, so you better win against that trashy girl Jacqueline,” he points out, handing me back the cashback after I paid. “Good luck tonight, make us proud!” he winks.
I smile and shift to one as I drive down to the start of the line. The tracks are old and kinda messy. They can shift from gravel to normal roads, which causes some drivers to lose focus. “Nervous for tonight?” Marie asks to which I nervously nod. “I mean it's against Jacqueline, we’ve had our shares in the past and she’s good,” I say.
“Yeah but not as good as you. Keep that in mind. Just think of the money, it will be your motive,” she says. We open the door and step out, I hear commotion and then look up to people cheering for me. I wave and thank them before walking over to our group who’s standing by the starting line. We all hug and chat about the race, which is filled with a lot of rivals going head to head.
I could feel my blood pumping as I watched the two Mustangs take out, their exhaust fumes following. The excitement you face also comes to anticipation as you watch which car will make it first to the end. The yellow Mustang wins by .4 seconds after they race for almost two minutes. I turn to the side when I hear my name being called, “Y/n, when are we gonna race?”
“As soon as you let me see what’s under your hood,” they scoff and walk off. It would've been too easy…
—/— (Jude’s Point of View) ---/—
The black LV suit was perfect for the occasion. Aurélien was right, people do dress as if they were attending fashion shows here. We all decided to go in two cars, making the almost forty-minute drive down to this closed-off restricted area. We followed the guide who led us up to the almost ‘VIP’ area.
The commotion was loud. People were either drinking, making out, or dancing. Or those who wanted to feel lucky, gambled money by playing poker. This truly did feel like a bad idea now, but I couldn't care less now that I was drinking a beer. We had clear and perfect views of the track, I was lucky to attend an F1 show in the past but this? This was completely different.
Fancy or new cars racing, and it was just the beginning. I talked with Eduardo for a good time as I observed the loud car go head to head towards the finish line. Music played loudly, but as Aurélien had said, no one recognized us. We step out and that’s when I notice the black challenger pull in. Two girls step out, but it's the driver who gets my attention. She chews gum and listens with boredom as they explain the rules to her.
My eyes roam down her slim and fit body, and I get a closer look when she quickly puts on her mask and helmet. I find myself not being able to look away, especially after she faces her opponent, ignoring their truce handshake. She’s too confident and now has my full attention.
Her windows are rolled down, her hand on the wheel, and the other is on the gear shift, patiently waiting for the light to turn green. “Who’s that?” I finally speak, completely forgetting I was in mid-conversation with Eduardo. “That’s Y/n in the black challenger. And in the red camaro is Jacqueline. They hate their guts, biggest rivals after Jacqueline's brother cheated on a race. Y/n, she’s the best of the best…” speaks a different guy. “Word on the street is that Jacqueline is involved in a gang, but who knows,” he says.
Y/n pulls out her thumb signalling she’s ready, and then quickly drives off when the light turns green. Just like the guy had said, she was the best of the best, quickly drifting and turning onto the tracks. Her car was faster than the red camaro, and you could tell the determination to win was there. I just waited for it to go the other way.
Soon yelling and commotion started when Jacqueline caught up, and took the lead, Y/n just maintained her speed and control as before. “What is she doing? She’ll lose if she doesn't catch up!” said another guy. I furrowed my brows and crossed my arms, looking back at the two cars on the race track. I didn’t understand how this worked, but it looked like not even I could make those turns, especially at those speeds.
Everyone gasped or oohed when the camaro lost control and failed to do the sharp tight turn correctly, cheering when Y/n went back to the lead and quickly made it to the finish line. We walked down to the starting line where she got out, and put her hands up, and cheered. She took her helmet and mask off, and that's when I truly was drawn to her facial features. “Bro? You’re drooling,” Brahim joked to which I just pushed his shoulder.
The crowd went quiet as the red camero pulled in, an angry Jacqueline and passenger getting off to confront Y/n. “You cheated!” she points at her to which the girl wearing all black just snorted and chuckled, “No babes. You just suck. I won, just like the other times before. Now go whine somewhere else and leave us alone for once.”
Her eyes connected with mine, and it felt like time just slowly flew by. Her lips parted, as she took me in, her hand holding the helmet and now stack of cash. She looked away and shyly smiled towards her friends, them congratulating her. She would nod then and there and only stick with those friends. “I’ll be back. Going to congratulate the winner,” I say and smile at Eduardo who wishes me luck. I don't need luck I'm Jude Bellingham.
I was determined to know more about her. Who she was, and why she raced especially. But before I could introduce myself, a loud bang and glass shattering prevented me from doing so. The last I saw while we ran was Y/n getting into her car and driving away. A loud car pulled near us, the familiar face and eyes locking with mine.
“Hurry! Get in!”

𝐈 𝐌𝐄𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐓 ! - 𝐀𝐋𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐌
𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒┊i’ve left you guys w nothing for so long 💔 so take this small series (multiple chapters) as a apology, hopefully you guys will forgive meeee— AND i’d like to add the kazuha smut isn’t gonna come out till the end of november or thee begging of december, anddd expect a albedo smau ❤️
𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒┊fluff, suggestive (ofc, it’s written by pri, what else do u expect?), fem! reader, modern au, somewhat ooc alhaitham not rly though, AND CUTIE PATOOTIE READER… w a little attitude
“ come on alhaitham! it can’t hurt to try dating someone… ” kaveh tried to reason with him— claiming that he’d been single long enough and needed a relationship. ( also he is very attractive, and has chicks swarming all around him… you’d think he’d make the effort to start something with one of them… but! guess not! )
“ kaveh, i said no. i’m in no need of a reltionship— plus all these.. girls. ” he hesitated— thinking of a proper way to describe them.
“ their annoying, and clearly don’t care much for their studies.. i need a partner who actually has a brain. ” alhaitham said sourly.
“ ugh… ” kaveh pouted, “ brains aren’t everything, you know? if i were you i would’ve got a girlfriend already!! ”
“ i hope one day these girls realize you’ve got no personality and are rude and— and well, you know!”
“then they’ll realize what a true man is… ” he grinned. “ aka, me. ”
“ brains aren’t everything? i disagree… a persons brain is—”
“ shush! i don’t need one of your lectures about how blah blah means blah blah. ” kaveh scoffed, frowning once more.
“ one day you’re going to end up dating a no brainer, just because their pretty. ” alhaitham murmured, closing his book and leaning his head back on his seat.
“ and you’re gonna end up dating no one. ” kaveh snapped back.
“ fine by me. ” alhaitham said stoically, but to be honest… he did want to love someone eventually, but he wouldn’t admit that to kaveh.
“ you know what? if you can’t find anyone you like here at our uni… why not get a dating app! there’s plenty of smart people on those! ” kaveh exclaimed excitedly, desperate to get his “lonely” roommate a partner.
“ and get catfished? no thank you. ” alhaitham declined quickly… but seriously, a dating app might be a good idea— maybe he could meet someone at his intellectual level.. not some dumbass like all the girls here.
“ not everyone on dating apps are catfishers, come on! please try one! and i’ll pay you a visit to the library…!! ” kaveh pleaded. “ you don’t even have to date… you can just make a friend! ”
friend….? well he certainly needed more of those— as well as new books.
“ a visit to the bookstore, not library, and you have a deal. ” alhaitham tilted his head up at kaveh.
“ ugh… fine. just don’t buy too many books! or else i’ll never be able to afford supplies for my project. ”
alhaitham hummed. “ alright, i’ll limit myself to… eh, three books. ”
from the most expensive section too…
“ three?! come on make it at least two… ” kaveh pouted. “ you always get the most expensive books, so two! ”
alhaitham sighed, “ fine, two books, and i’ll try that stupid dating app. ”
“ bet! ” kaveh gleamed, picking up alhaitham’s phone which made alhaitham jolt up a bit.
“ hey what are you— ” kaveh shushed him.
“ getting you the app, obviously!! ” kaveh chuckled, flashing the phone over to alhaitham’s face for face-id.
poor alhaitham couldn’t even snatch it back.
kaveh was typing away on alhaithams phone ( without alhaitham’s consent too! how rude! )
“ here! now you can set up your profile. ” kaveh handed alhaitham back the phone.
“ okay, okay. ” alhaitham muttered, sounding unhappy… but in reality he was a little bit excited.
“ kaveh. why do you even want me to date someone….? ”
“ because haitham, your 23 and haven’t even gotten a peck on the lips— and your like, i dunno, attractive? i have no idea i just wanna help you live a little… ”
alhaitham blinked at his friend a couple of times… live a little? he was already living his life the best he could.
well actually, that was debatable.
“ yeah, okay. ” alhaitham clicked on the profile… he needed a profile picture and bio..
“ use the photo from the festival! you know, the one with the glasses and you actually smiling! ” kaveh suggested.
“ that one…? okay. ” alhaitham scrolled through his gallery, which was mostly just photos of kaveh making faces, books, and some things he found appealing (aesthetic sunsets, and photos of trees and plants).
“ what about for my bio? ” alhaitham asked kaveh, who seemed to already be conducting something “good”.
“ say your name, age, mbti, zodiac, and major! and whatever else you think is important for your soulmate to know. ” kaveh nodded proudly.
“ soulmate? you make me laugh. there’s no such things as soulmates. ” alhaitham scoffed. “ people fall in love and that’s it, there’s no mystical soulmate thing behind it— think realistically kaveh. ”
“ i am thinking realistically! ” kaveh snapped back, brows furrowing. “ your so ungrateful. ”
“ and my zodiac? the fuck does that have to do with anything? ” alhaitham raised a eyebrow, but typed it down anyways.
“ i thought you believed in astrology! ”
kaveh sighed, trying to calm himself down— screaming wasn’t going to help him. he couldn’t get a another sore throat from alhaitham.
“ whatever, just put anything down at this point…”
“ i should write down ‘ lover has to be smart ’… ” alhaitham said with the faintest smile.
kaveh gave him a look.
“ it’s a joke dumb ass. ” or was it?
( 2 days later ) it was about 1:24 a.m— and for some reason alhaitham was awake watching tiktok.
i mean he couldn’t sleep because of kaveh’s loud snoring.. and he has finished his books— and didn’t exactly want to binge on his new ones all in one night.
and that’s when he got it— a silly little notification.
‘ you matched with… [ name ], [ last name ] ! congratulations!! ’
“ the fuck… ” alhaitham squinted, clicking on the notification to be brought to your profile.
he examined it for a moment, you took the same major as him and were fairly… pretty.
he stared at it for a moment longer before receiving another notification.
‘ [ name ], [ last name ] would like to chat with you! ’
of course, he quickly clicked the approve button.

“I-I really gotta get back to my work Pete-” you gasped, the harsh pinch of your teeth biting down to meet your lower lip reminding you to keep your voice hushed.
The dark mahogany dug into your palms as you gripped the shelf, cracked spines and weathered pages meeting your gaze before you shut your eyes. It smelt of old books and Peter, his arms caging you in, leaving you nowhere to go but with him.
It had been smooth sailing for over an hour, the two of you nestling in together at a little table in the back of the old, quaint library. Surrounded by nothing but old wooden shelves and golden yellow oil lamps, it was a little haven for the two of you to get caught up on overdue assignments.
His work was a mystery to you- all the letters and numbers blurring together as he scratched away equations on the paper, fidgeting as he adjusted his glasses and rolled up his sleeves.
Books were pushed to the side after some time, his hand finding its way to your thigh, smirking as you slid your legs over his thigh to let your feet kick and dangle.
There was no point trying to focus anymore. You were entranced by him, lost in the idea of him- head in the clouds as you felt his fingers trace little outline drawings on your bare thigh, still focusing on his work.
From there, it was a mystery. He had you trapped, stuck between him as you felt the prominent bulge from his jeans slide against your skirt, making you shiver.
“Were you ever really doing any work in the first place? Or just twirling your hair and batting me those eyes so I’d get distracted?”
“I don't know what you're talking about…” you trailed off softly, breath caught in your throat as his soft lips met your neck- teasing you.
“Mmm don’t be so silly now sweetheart. You’re my smart girl, aren't you?”
You nodded. He smirked. It was as simple as that with you, hanging off his every word. “So don’t act stupid. I taught you better than that, ya know.” he quipped, in his charming, boyish ways- hand slipping down towards your skirt.
“We shouldn't do that here!” you huffed as his fingers traced those same little patterns he was on your skin earlier on your dampening panties.
“Oh baby when has that ever stopped you before? I thought you liked this hm? You wanna show everyone what a good lil girl you are?”
“We can’t-”
“Or are you too shy?” he continued, his belt jangling as he unbuckled it, seeming to echo off each pane of stained glass. “I know you're shy but not that shy baby. We’ve done it soo many times when you've been a little slut it public- haven't we? In my car, in the empty classroom or mmm the bathroom at your family gathering?”
You whimpered in response, words failing you. Your head fell limp as his chest was flush with your back, trapping you against the bookcase- bookspines nearly digging into your cheek.
“Shh you're fine. You want my fingers?” he asked softly, his low voice soothing you as he slowly slipped two fingers in your mouth, pressing down on your tongue before he slid himself in.
Your eyes widened as he moaned, slowly brushing against your insides- savouring how pure you felt around him. “Fuck. Fuck, fuck fuck-” he chanted like a prayer, and you sucked harder on his fingers to stifle the noises you so desperately wanted to release.
Drool began to pool from your lips, coating the long digits as your eyes rolled, his dick fully inside you, panties somewhere down your thighs. You hoped it was empty in here. Because the idea of someone walking in on this made your head spin.
“Mhmm-” you gagged as he slowly slipped out of you, pumping back in with such force you thought you’d topple over if it wasn't for him holding you upright.
“This is your fault ya know. If you weren't such a damn tease…” he murmured softly, making you shake your head.
“Yes, yes it is. We could’ve been studying angelface, and because youre such a precious lil slut- we’re in this mess hm?” he sighed, breathing in the smell of your sweet, saccharine perfume that mixed with his cologne, the smell of him on you driving him wild.
Before you knew it, the book in front of you had slid off the shelf- and you saw fingers grab the book across from it to clear a direct pathway for a face you knew all too well.
A smirk was plastered across his face, eyebrows raising as you heard the air whoosh through his nostrils as he breathed you in.
“Well ain't this somethin else?” a low voice whistled.
“She’s shy Matty don’t scare her.” Peter replied, cocky as ever as he watched his best friend unfold you like a present- but knew deep down he could never have it. He was dangling bait in front of him.
“M-Matt?” you croaked out softly, stuttering as Peter continued to use you, fingers slipping out of your mouth.
“What’d ya doin there love?” he cooed.
“Studyin-” you choked out, making Peter laugh. “Oh she’s studyin alright.”

nonsense — 18. this is the tactic
you wanted to pull out your hair. slap yourself once, no, twice. it was stupid, this was stupid, why did you still have a reaction when you were around him? you didn’t want to, you didn’t want it.
“hi.” he greeted you, hi? after acting like he didn’t know you and not giving you proper closure for years he says hi? okay, but you don’t blame him much for acting like he didn’t know you at work, you did the same with him, it would be far more awkward if you acknowledged each other. but you were still far too irritated at him, as much as you wanted to act like he didn’t affect you anymore. he did.
unfortunately.
it was no secret.
you stare at him with pursed lips, before getting in your car— well technically kenma’s car but psh details details— preferring not to answer. with a hand on the steering wheel you take a deep breath before starting the car and driving away, not looking back. it was easy to look at him from afar like he was just another poster or billboard, it was more difficult when he was actually in front of you and talking.
instead of driving to the dorms you drove all the way to kenma’s apartment.
you take out your phone once you’re in front of his building, you find his contact number and call him, he answers after a few rings, “hey ken, i’ll be sleeping over,” you state, the guard on duty recognizes the car and you roll down the windows, waving at them, they were already familiar with you, letting you go in. you came over too much.
“thanks for giving me a choice,” kenma drawled. you hear shuffling in the background, you assume he was on his computer.
“i’m already in your building,” you say as you go to kenma’s designated parking space, parking the sleek gray car next to his other cars of names you cannot possibly remember. you stretch as you get off, yawning, you walk all the way to kenma’s unit half asleep.
you knock, you didn’t have to wait for long before you were faced with kenma’s bored stare.
“are you going to have a breakdown?” he asks as you step inside.
“how was work [name]? have you eaten yet? no, it’s are you going to scream and cry [name]?” you plop on the couch.
“are you?” kenma prompts, sitting down next to you.
“yeah,” you bury your face in your hands. “I’ll have to see him again tomorrow morning and it’s fine but it’s also not and i just want to scream.”
it was tomorrow morning.
kenma had to drop you off work because you were really not in the mood after staring off into space on his couch for a while before falling asleep last evening.
“you’re fine,” you state while getting off the car in kenma’s clothes that you borrowed, just some sweats and a graphic t-shirt.
“i didn’t say i wasn’t,” kenma says, handing you your bag.
“i was talking to myself,” you rub your eye to get the leftover sleepiness out.
“okay weirdo, here's your lunch,” he hands you a canvas bag, “don’t forget you have class at like 1pm.”
“yes, mother,” you smile, taking your packed lunch, “really, thank you, ken, you’re the best.”
he looks away, you knew he was getting embarrassed, he still wasn’t used to admitting he was affectionate, “yeah whatever.”
you smile as he prepares to leave to go to the uni and as he does, you shout, “love you!”
you watch as he reaches a hand out to flip you off.
yeah, everything’s fine.
because you have a brilliant plan.
you weren’t just staring off into space yesterday evening for nothing. you were also devising a very smart (you think so), and very effective way of not minding he who shan't be named. And it doesn’t just include you ignoring him anymore!
you call this, the tactic.
the tactic includes three easy steps you need to follow, all according to your very reliable mind.
1. always stay positive
“good morning, akane, riseki!” you wave and greet your fellow interns once you walked in the lobby, they just got here too it seems. they wave at you back just as cheerily, akane was holding a sheet of paper that you look at with curiosity.
“morning, [name] babe, they were giving us new assignments,i’m stuck doing paperwork today,” akane waves the sheet of paper then points to something on it, “it’s no fair! riseki gets to assist the camera crew and watch all the fun stuff.” akane glares at riseki on the side who was shrugging while drinking his water.
“can i see mine?” you ask to reach for the piece of paper, akane hands it to you.
“you’re with the production assistant.. uhm goodluck, friend,” akane pats you on the shoulder, knowing the assistant has a very hectic and difficult job.
your smile doesn’t falter, it still seems fun after all!
you were going to die.
“oikawa-san, do you need anything else?” the production assistant, which you know of as satoko-san, asks the bane of your existence as you stand beside her with a complacent smile holding stacks of paper.
haha no you’re not.. remember number one…
“no thank you, satoko-san,” oikawa flashes his award winning smile at satoko-san which makes the older female smile as well. no satoko-san, don’t fall for his charm too! you resist the urge to make a face at him.
“ah, oikawa-san, may i introduce you to one of our interns? this is [name],” satoko-san gestures to you, you make a tiny, forced wave.
2. speak to him only when necessary.
you bow, “nice to meet you, oikawa-san, you’re a very talented actor, i’m so glad i get to meet you!” i hate you i hate you i hate you.
oikawa gives you an unchanging expression, but you notice the slight twitch of his brow which indicates that he was amused, you hate that you noticed it, “it’s nice to… meet you too [name]-san,” he plays along.
you felt a tick on your forehead.
satoko-san smiles at you before turning to oikawa once again, “now we have to go, oikawa-san, enjoy your breakfast and wait for your makeup artist to come in,” she gives him one final bow and you copy her actions, quickly following after her when she leaves.
3. treat him like the famous person he is, like a nobody to you now.
the long first half of your day has now come to an end, now you must succumb to centuries (hours) of agony (listening to lectures). you’ve already thanked satoko-san and that you’ll see her again on friday, you have come to really like satoko-san since she’s pretty laid back despite all the stress upon her shoulders.
you’ve already said goodbye to akane and riseki since they were working for the whole day. now, you were outside and thinking about whether to just commute or call one of your friends to pick you up, only recently realizing you have no ride.
“do you have class?”
you freeze at the voice who snuck up behind you. why was he talking to you? no, more importantly, why was he even approaching you?
your back stiffens as you fake smile at the actor, “ah yes i do, oikawa-san.”
“you do know that we don’t have to act like we don’t know each other,” he hums, hands in his pockets, he must not be in the current scene if he was out here bothering you.
you look around before mustering up a reply when realizing everybody else was busy inside, “what are you talking about? i don’t know you,” you smile, gritting your teeth. hah.. remember number one.. “sorry if i came off as disrespectful, oikawa-san, please let me off this time!”
“[name]... i…” oikawa finds it difficult to find the right words.
“i’m going to be late,” you don’t let him finish before you start walking away. yes you were avoiding confrontation, yes you said you would avoid avoidance but hey you said that you won’t be avoiding him, partially.
you swear to yourself you’ll do the stupid tactics better next time.

✦ fun facts !
more like common sense, but we’ve never had much of oikawa’s pov yet
nonsense ! an oikawa tooru social media au
synopsis. you were oikawa tooru’s #1 fan, until you became his #1 hater. you hated him so much you went viral on twitter (accidentally) and literally became known as “the oikawa tooru hater”, doesn’t help that he keeps fueling the fire by subtweeting you. everyone is all in for this new drama. what isn’t known to the public, is that this particular drama’s been on hold for three years (him being your ex and all).

Hi peach. I see that you’re doing therapy/life guidance sessions right now. Help.
I’m 18 and I go to a pretty world renowned uni. I finished 2 years of college in high school so now I only have like 2 years left of my undergrad (I just started in September). I want to go to med school. (I think). I’m applying to a bunch of volunteer and shadow programs and I just feel like I’m not enough. The people in my classes are insanely smart and snooty that they go to this school. We’re all going to med school and I just feel like they have the spot that I won’t. I’m having pretty bad imposter syndrome. I feel like I’m not doing enough. I always feel like I could be doing more. I’m in a spiral and I feel like I just don’t have enough time/im wasting time. I see my friends all having this crazy college experience with parties and stuff (keep in mind that I do not care about/like parties at all. ESPECIALLY frat ones). But it makes me feel like I’m also doing too MUCH and too little at the same time????? Idk. Losing sleep over this. Through Me helps (a lot 😊😊😊).
Fuck those people. Don’t compare yourself to them. You’re also trying to go med school, they just suck. You’re not an imposter, you’re working hard and chasing a goal. You have plenty of time.
I will say with your path… partying time is probably not a good idea right now. Maybe casually. Save that for when you get to residency, you’ll need the decompression time more than you know.
If you’re worried about competing for your spot (understandable):
Spend your time studying. Murder your tests. Someone might be snooty but at the end of the day… your ability to recall information you’ve been taught cannot be overlooked in exchange for someone who is a brat but also average.
Also… do your best to get internships and preferably clinic experience to boost you up. Use your summers. Volunteer. Get your BLS. ACLS. If you feel like you’re not the strongest student, build that experience.

yay you‘re an aries, too 💕
ugh i‘ve gotta write my term paper and i‘m sooo annoyed because i really hate one of the the authors whose work i‘m analyzing (it‘s about 16th century art literature) but i gotta do it because i‘m only two assignments away from my masters thesis and i‘m sooo exhausted ;_;
okay sorry for the rant. i was just wondering if maybeee you‘d like to write a cute lil’ drabble or hc about joel supporting a reader that’s struggling with their assignment for uni? >_<
anyhow, love you & your writing. keep up the good work & take care of yourself 💕
Congratulations on your master’s thesis!! You’re going to do amazing things! I took this in a little more of preoutbreak!Joel hc so I hope you enjoy 💓
Joel as your study buddy headcanons
Pairing: preoutbreak!Joel Miller x fem!reader
Author’s note: the lovely Joel “fractions” Miller gif is by @loregifs also I am slowly working through requests!! Thank you for sending me so many fun ones! 🫶
Warnings: school stress, fluff!!
I don’t think Joel would’ve gone to college and if he did, I don’t think he would’ve finished it out because of Sarah but when he meets you while you’re in the midst of your grad courses, he’s in awe of your work ethic and determination
He likes to look over your shoulder when you're transcribing notes or reading for class
Definitely would stop by campus to have lunch with you if he had a job nearby
One time Sarah had an early release day on the same day Joel had a rural site forty five minutes away so you picked her up and had to take her to lecture with you
She loved every minute of it. She liked roaming the campus and listening to your professor, even if she didn’t fully understand what she was talking about, and asked you a million different questions about college
Will literally listen to you ramble about the newest thing you’re learning because he likes seeing you get so excited/engaged
When finals roll around, he’s not quite sure what he can do to help the blanket-covered, ink-stained, stressed heap of grad student in his living room but he’ll occasionally walk by and kiss your temple, saying praises into your skin
“You’re so smart.” “You can do this.” “D’you need anything?” “You’re gonna do great.” “I love you.”
He’d definitely be the type of guy who would cut up fruit and wordlessly leave it on the table in front of you with a glass of water
When you’re crying because of the stress, deadlines, readings, he’s always there to soothe your anxiety and offer you a break
Sometimes you two will sit and watch some mindless reality show or talk to Sarah about her day or go for a drive, pointing out the wildflowers on the side of the highway. He’ll do anything to get your mind to reset so you can come back to your studying
He’d help you run through your flashcards so you can study but not before trying to make a stripping game out of it
“Joel, I need to pass!” “That’s why it’s effective!”
When you eventually do pass all your finals, he takes you and Sarah out to dinner and tells the waiter about how smart his girlfriend is when the poor guy asks if you’re celebrating anything
Joel takes any opportunity to gush about you
When you graduate, he makes the BIGGEST DEAL
He’s the loudest person at graduation and showers you with flowers, kisses, and attention. You and Sarah just laugh at his theatrics but love him for it anyways
He would definitely splurge and buy you the nice frame for your diploma and you very quickly tell him he doesn’t have to because they’re so expensive but he just kisses you to shut you up
“I wanted to. ‘M proud of you and I want everyone to know,” he mumbles against you. “Besides, when you make me a trophy husband, it’ll balance out.”

a/n: modern/uni au :)
thoma can’t focus.
no matter how hard he tries, none of the information in his government class is registering in his head. it felt as if it was going in one ear and out the other. he’s trying, he truly is. after all, he needs the good grade in the class. he’s doing everything he does in his usual learning pattern. he’s taking notes, he’s listening intently to the lecture, he even sat close to the front so he’d be less likely to get sidetracked. everything he’s doing spells out perfect student, well everything except answering questions in class.
that’s where you seemed to beat him to the punch, where you beat everyone actually. no matter what the topic of the day was, no matter what the lecture was about you continued to answer the questions other people in the class were scared to answer. maybe that’s where thoma was screwing up. sure, he was listening to the lecture, but he seemed to pay more attention when he heard you answer. sure, he’s taking notes, but they were mostly scribbles about your answers (without even giving them any kind of relevance or context). and sure, he’s sitting in the front of the class, but that also means he’s sitting next to you, the person’s who’s voice and kind smile he can’t seem to get of.
no matter what way thoma looked at it, every issue with his concentration seemed to tie back to you.
he needs some kind of solution, and he needs one fast. it’s a fact he realizes a bit sooner rather than later when he gets his first test score back, a big red C+ on the top left of the page.
if he doesn’t learn how to focus in this class, his gpa is absolutely done for.
his head hits his desk on seeing the test score. he thought it was easy, he really did. thoma was flying through the questions, able to answer all of them effortlessly.
it just seemed as if all those answers he was so confident about were wrong.
thoma hears a laugh, “are you okay?”
no, he’s not, he figures you’d be smart enough to figure that out yourself.
but he still turns to you anyway, heart skipping a beat as you laugh and give him a small wave, one that he returns despite his rather contrasting atttitude.
“i’m fine,” he mumbles, as he sits up, not missing the A at the top of your paper. “i just thought i’d get a better score that’s all.”
“cheer up,” you tell him with a smile. “the first test is always the one people do terrible on.”
and your words feel a bit half hearted considering the 97% at the top of your page.
“people don’t understand the test formats or how the questions are worded,” you explain. “there’s always some confusion with the first exam. so don’t worry! you’ll do better next time.”
and thoma’s wondering if those words rang true to you. after all, it’s only a matter of time until you’re sitting next to him with a 97% on your test while he’s still stuck at a 77%.
but he still grins anyway, “thanks, i appreciate that,” before sighing. “man, i just can’t understand the topics,” he tells you.
“what don’t you understand?” you question.
he laughs, a clipped laugh, but a laugh nonetheless, “everything,” he answers. “i just can’t seem to understand the concepts.”
yeah, thoma thinks, it’s because of you, the person who’s trying to console him, but even then he still doesn’t have it in him to be frustrated with you.
after all, that smile of yours is very pretty.
you think to yourself for a moment, “well, what if i helped you?”
and mentally, thoma refuses. he can’t pay attention around you, he can’t focus around you. what more if you were tutoring him by yourself, one on one, alone.
he just doesn’t see how it could be in his best interests.
so he shakes his head, “it’s fine,” he shrugs. “you’re probably busy with other stuff anyway, i wouldn’t wanna bother you.”
“it’s not a bother,” you answer instantly, voice a bit louder than you intended. “if anything, teaching you can help me get more familiar with the concepts.”
thoma’s certain you don’t need that, especially with the way you answer every question in his class.
“but don’t you have activities and stuff after school?”
“i’m free on tuesdays?”
oh, what a coincidence, he is too.
and thoma thinks for a moment. on one hand, you’re the reason why he can’t focus, why he can’t seem to concentrate in class. but on the other hand, the thought of spending more time with you makes his heart race, and he’s still not too sure why. plus, you’re offering to tutor him for free, something that a broke college kid like him could defintely benefit from.
so he sighs, a hint of pink staining his cheeks when he finally caves, “sounds good to me then.”
you smile, “alright then, i can meet you in the library in the B building around 2 ish?”
“sounds perfect,” he tells you, heartbeat racing.
you nod, “then i’ll see you then thoma.”
and, despite your usually incresdible intelligence, you miss the now prominent blush on thoma’s cheeks as you begin to pack up your things.
“i’ll see you then,” he says before you walk out. and as you walk out the door, his head ends up back on his desk. you’re the root of his problems. the sole reason why he can’t concentrate. yet here he is, mentally celebrating at the fact that you offered to help him.
there’s a grin on his face, one that grows when he thinks about seeing you on tuesday.
and thoma realizes that maybe you weren’t the root of his problems, but the solutions he’s been looking for.
thanks for reading! reblogs/interactions are always appreciated <3

[avery]: should i start with the italian game or the ruy-lopez
[malcolm]: maybe you shouldn’t be telling me your plans
[avery]: maybe... but you’re getting older and i’m getting smarter... so, i’m sure i’m still gonna win this
[malcolm]: you remind me of myself when i was at your age
[avery]: with collin’s new hairstyle he looks more like you, dad
[malcolm]: *chuckles* you’re right! he looks good with that hairstyle.
[griffin]: when is it gonna be my turn, daddy?
[avery]: when you grow up, griff.
[griffin]: i asked daddy, avey!!
[collin]: hiiii. is there a meeting here?
[malcolm]: *laughs* well, he’s right, griff. this is a big boy’s game. soon you’re gonna age up and we’ll play together. i’ll teach you, okay?
[collin]: i’m next!!
[griffin]: collin will play... i want to play!
[collin]: be patient, griff.
[griffin]: i can’t do anything in this house!!
[avery]: while you were distracted, i won.
[malcolm]: no. i let you win because i have to put griffin to bed. i’ll be right back. i want to talk to you and collin
-
[malcolm]: so, i wanted to talk to you about your future, mostly you, avery. we never talked about this after... you know, our fight
[avery]: dad, i told you. i don’t want to go to university. i don’t want to work at your company.
[malcolm]: let me tell you a story. charles was a boy who didn’t want anything to do with his mother’s company and one day he decided to follow his dreams... one day he felt like that life was all he needed, so he had to ask his brother for a job, at that company—
[avery]: we know you’re talking about uncle johnny, dad. you told this story before. and i won’t change my mind like him.
[collin]: avery, i think dad is right. it’s just reassurance. you’re smart, i’m sure you’re gonna be fine at uni.
[avery]: i don’t wanna talk about this. i’m going to my room.

I might have set the feminism movement back with this thought BUT:
College is for smart big girls who have a future, it is SO not for pretty girls who still can’t figure out how to add and subtract negative and positive numbers.
I think I’m unfortunately doomed to be a housewife to a man. Which that scares me because that’s a man. Like- I have to live with him for like forever y’know? But on the plus side at least my only job is to be pretty and cook.
Oh honey. Honey no
I’m gonna big sister you a bit here because I think you need it.
First of all, when I started uni I was a pretty girl who still couldn’t add or subtract negative and positive numbers, and now I’m a pretty girl who can (sometimes), but also I know so many people in college and uni who suck at math. If you’re not in a STEM field, math post secondary doesn’t really matter all that much. I failed calculus is high school, but that’s ok because in my psychology program the only math I’ve had to do is statistics. Really. Math doesn’t matter unless you want to do stuff that requires math.
Second of all, college isn’t for everyone. That’s fine, it doesn’t need to be. In fact there’s a ton of other jobs you can get without it. Trades are VERY lucrative right now in a lot of places, and that doesn’t just mean things like plumbing or doing electrical work. Doing hair dressing, being a makeup artist, a lash tech, doing things like laser hair removal are all considered trades. Seriously, if you think post secondary is for you look into trades. Even things like lifeguarding that require a few certifications can be great jobs and you can always find a different career path as you get older. (That said, if you WANT to do post secondary education but you just don’t think you’re smart enough, that’s a different issue. If that’s the case you gotta work on building your self confidence. I know it’s easier said than done, but the world will seem so much bigger once you get to a point where you believe in yourself.)
Third, and this is the most important thing: NEVER EVER tie yourself to a man to provide for you without having any backup plan or other options. It’s INCREDIBLY dangerous. If you genuinely want to be a housewife, good for you, you should do that, but realize that a) managing a household is a TON of work, a lot of it is thankless, and none of it is paid, b) those pretty tradwives you see online are LYING to you, and c) you should still always have a way to leave, and part of having a way to leave is having skills that make you hireable. Keep a secret bank account or stash of money, and have somewhere to go or someone who will take you in if things go south. Seriously. It’s ALWAYS better to live with a shitty roommate than a shitty partner. A safe apartment is better than an unsafe house. Financial independence is SO important, and it’s important to always be employable even if you’re not always employed. PLEASE pursue some sort of job, even if you don’t pursue higher education, and never ever rely on someone else to provide for you 100% without a backup plan because that is how you end up in an abusive situation. Trust me. I’ve seen it. If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to pursue a career, please do it, it’s one of the biggest things you can do to keep yourself safe.
I’m not trying to scare you, but this ask genuinely scared me. I don’t know if you were joking but on the off chance you weren’t I just really want to make sure you hear this. Much love xx

Uni been kicking my ass, but here's a drabble from the Full Moon fic (Werewolf Ryomina fic)
Emerging from the corn field was a tall woman, around 8’7, who had black hair that was not longer than just barely past her shoulder, pushed back like a lion’s mane, and eyes quite red. Her skin was quite a bit pale, and she was dressed in black.
“Ah, Nyx! This is Makoto Yuki, he’s helping with the Black Death!” Erebus called.
“Hey, share some of that height with the rest of us!” Makoto joked, “Some of us are in need of inches.”
The comment got Nyx laughing, as it was quite clear that she had never heard that specific comment before.
“That’s a new one!” Nyx chuckled.
“Anyways, this is my wife, Nyx Mochizuki,” Erebus introduced, “She’s tall because of gigantism. Being a giant lady has its perks, but one of them is terrible back pain.”
“Says the one who has pelvis problems,” Nyx muttered.
“Hey- in my defense, it’s your fault!”
“Yeah, but you were the one who begged me to do it.”
“Hush, you know I like it rough!”
“How long have you two been married?” Makoto asked.
“We’ve been married long enough,” Nyx answered vaguely.
“Honey, it’s only been almost 20 years.”
“Oh hush, Erie.”
“Anyways-” Makoto tried to refocus their attention, “I heard from Erebus that your son saw the Black Death.”
“Oh- yes, the Black Death. I’ve only known about it from the grapevine, but apparently, it’s pretty smart. It can leave behind compensation for the lost items, and can work stuff that we can work with.”
“Really?”
“Yep. It also has escaped many traps, so it’s going to be tough catching it- anyways, why are you asking?”
“I was asked by the mayor to take care of it.”
“Oof, Kirijo-san’s very tough to work under.”
“Ahhh, but I bet this boy can do it!” Erebus chuckled.
“Oh yeah! Makoto’s pretty good at taking down werewolves-” Junpei realized, “I remember there was a red werewolf that had some sort of blade on its head and he took care of it!”
“Medea?” Makoto answered.
“Yeah- that! I remember that it took my pigs and my Star-of-Bethlehems! Too bad Chidori moved away after that, but I don’t blame her, she was prolly scared.”
Makoto knew exactly who Medea was. He was the one who put her in the sanctuary far from people. She was worried she would never see Junpei again. However, he told her that once everything settles down, then he will tell Junpei about the location. With that information, Chidori agreed to live her life in that sanctuary, for both her sake and Junpei’s.
“How do you even do it anyways?” Junpei asked.
“Well, as much as they are wild, they don’t really deserve to be killed slowly. They just get a fast death,” Makoto lied.
Nyx looked at Erebus briefly, seemingly with doubt.
“Wow, so even though you hunt werewolves, you still treat them humanely?”
“Yep. My sister said it’s like putting down a rabid dog.”
“Ohh.”
“That’s one way to put it,” Erebus commented dryly.
“Well, I’m just quoting what she said.”
“Well, I think you should be careful this full moon,” Nyx mentioned, “I’ve heard from Ryoji that he saw a much larger werewolf with the Black Death.”
“Oh, thanks for that, Nyx!”
“You’re welcome.”
“I’ll let you know how it goes,” Makoto promised.
“Please be safe!” Erebus bid adieu.
“You can do it!” Junpei encouraged.
Makoto, while rolling his eyes from Junpei’s encouragement, did smile a bit. He left the farm with valuable information: the Black Death is smart enough to break out of traps, it is able to leave behind compensation, and is also seen with a much larger werewolf not known to the town.
He met back up with Orpheus, who was talking with some women about the topic.
“You are so brave for taking it on!” one of the girls gushed.
“I’m scared, but as long as I have Makoto and Kotone, I should be fine-” he noticed Makoto, “Speak of the devil- did you find anything?”
“I was at the Mochizuki household earlier and I learned some pretty cool things.”
“From Mr. Mochizuki?”
“Yep. You remember how Junpei whined about losing sheep?”
“Very vividly.”
“The Black Death left behind a bag of coins as compensation.”
“Wow.”
“And it can break out of traps.”
Orpheus’s face paled as Makoto continued.
“And apparently, it doesn’t hunt alone. There’s a much larger one out there.”
“Makoto, we are really in over our heads.”
“Oh relax, Orpheus! The bigger ones usually have more problems than a broken factory! It’ll be a piece of cake to trap them both.”
“Still! The Black Death is smart!”
“You forget that Koto’s plans usually work out?”
“Oh right- out of the three of us, that wildcard comes up with the craziest, yet stupidly-working plans.”
“Like I said, the worst that could happen is that at least one of us gets bitten.”
