HATE that I'm randomly remembering this post relating to shuichi's development because I feel like crying now

still can't fathom the people who say saihara had no development like the fuck? sorry but did you play the game

In chapter one, Saihara is weak- he relies heavily on Kaede and sticks with her for practically the whole chapter

In the trial, he is too scared to reveal the truth of the crime to everyone, fearful of condemning yet another person

the biggest point to mention here, though is that Saihara didn't try to stop her death. He's not strong enough to at this point

Kaito is furious, exclaiming to him that he *should* have done something, that she had BELIEVED in him, and that she had 'passed her wish' onto him, yet he did NOTHING to stop her death

let's just say saihara definitely took this to heart- (5 chapters later of growth and support thanks to kaito and look here)

I’m always in and out of mega man circles and lore is a subject I’ve come to loathe sometimes as I enjoy the lore in this series but the gatekeeping was unreal over a series that didn’t have anything planned out-like most old video games trying to establish lore-so alterations to canon should be acceptable next to “aus exist for a reason” but maybe it’s just cause the fandom as is doesn’t like/give star force a chance, I wish low key people would be more accepting of the idea of “turning the FM-Ians into robots akin to the Stardroids” because that would be such a raw concept for them to still exist in the robot timeline but as more space alien robots we never saw but I know people would get hissy at this idea not being “canon” when this doesn’t invalidate the network timeline, it’s just saying “what if these aliens both coexist” (cause I also fuck with the stardroids also being FM-Ians or space Navis if duo.exe can exist, but I feel like someone would’ve done that by now but definitely hasn’t done this idea)

Within just a few laps, Allgaier went from a legacy-making drive to one of the biggest mistakes in Championship 4 history around a car that was going to pit soon anyway, and it could very well be his undoing. Just brutal!

EDIT: 8 minutes later...

And he commits a restart violation! And a pit road speeding penalty! Oh my goodness! Talk about a great drive gone bad! He choked away the regular season championship, and now he's choked away his 7th shot at a real championship! Absolutely insane!

Welp, time for a change of plans!

Wow! What a comeback and what a race! Allgaier really exorcised a decade and a half of demons in one stage! Taking full advantages of the chances given, making the two greatest passes of his life, and surviving two chaotic overtimes to finally seal the deal! And meanwhile, what an awesome way for Riley Herbst to dominate and then catch up with a mess of a car for a wild win on its own. (Okay, it was a tad dirty, but I doubt Justin's complaining.)

Oh, and now Rick Allen is getting farewells from the NBC/CW booth 🥺 Ngl I hope this isn't the last we hear of him! Maybe reunite him with FS1 and the Trucks, especially if Adam Alexander moves to the CW!

This spidersuit was hell, I hate clothes design

I'm a stubborn bitch though and I was gonna make sure this bitch had tarantula fluff somewhere

I think ver3 might be his final suit design but I included the others I liked to a degree because I'm open to constructive criticism about the design and may pull some stuff from old designs

Disclaimer: For the pose and to make it look a little like tmnt 2k3 art style to my brain I traced over art from a scrapped stealth suit concept for Mikey

He's missing a head because I didn't draw it lol I was too focused on the suit also I'm undecided on how his hair should look like in spidey mode

I originally concept arted him with a crop top jacket with rolled up sleeves and a fur collar but idk if that would make him look too busy...

Also his mask looks like that cuz it's a mouth guard-domino mask combo like DC's Red Hood has sometimes, cuz he has a scary spider mouth to scare criminals with and it helps protect his identity
