You know Santana and Racheal aren’t really fond of each other, and you never get involved. You leave that to Finn and maybe Quinn— just like when you lost nationals, and Santana fuckin’ lost it.

You grin, even if it’s a lazy one. “Oh, cmon.” You say, rolling your eyes with a scoff. “you get more solos than anyone besides.. Finn, Racheal, n’ maybe Mercedes.

THIS IS MY LIKES AND DISLIKES OF CHAOS THEORY ⚠️Spoilers below cut⚠️

When i first finished this season, I too like some people, was skeptical about it. I get why some people say its bad, I just thought it was very different from cc. At points the characters didin't feel like themsleves, the way some of them were written and the designs gave me a real hard time to get used to them. Also i felt as if it was just too much to process at times so i rewatched it and my final answer is that its a good show the pacing is incredeble, the plot, the suspence and character development. i just had a hard time getting used to everything new? Ig. I'm still doubting whether its a 10 but sure thing is that it was a very good first season its a easy 9/10. So here are the thinks i liked abt it:

-THE WAY THEY POTRAYED EVERYONES TRAUMA/STRUGGLES , Sammy having anxiety, Yaz overcoming her ptsd, and KENJI. MY BOY. That must have been the best breakdown i've seen in animated series. Whoever wrote that scene. Wow. It was the best thing in the whole show honestly. His vision gtting blurry, having truble breathing. The panick. Wow. I CANNOT SAY THIS LOUD ENOUGH.

-Ben and Sammy duo? Hello? Im srry to say but you might just be better than Yaz and Ben duo. Idk i really loved them.

- "Benjamin."

- Showing Yaz is doing better. Despite her ongoing struggles, she has clearly grown and matured the last 6 years, and the way she calmed Sammy in the sinking van? Ig all those therapy sessions and college paid off. That scene is a clear illustration of the progress she has made. I mean sammy did say "i can tell shes still struggling" but there wasnt really a clear scene of her getting stuck in place as she used to. So my guess is that it was just Sammys anxiety and the fact that they didint talk much. Bc then Sammy was surprised how she kept herselve together. So yeah

-YASAMMY. NOTHING MORE TO ADD.

-UM SAMMYS CHARACTER?? HELLO? GLOW UP, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, i loved her sm. She moved up to my top 3.

And her anxiety? It was so well shown too

-the fight between Sammy and Yaz felt so natural and not at all forced. They both had valid points and in the end they did understand each other and were on the same page.

-Ben being Ben in almost every episode

- Yasmina's "boo."

-Brooklynns design?? Majestic to say the least.

- ingore what i said ealrier abt the acting out of character. They do remind themsleves they just grew

-Kenjis new voice actor, he did a real good job, as much as it doesn't sound like him, he really captured some emotional scenes very well.

- The robot lady. THEY REALLY SAID TAKE A WOMAN AND MAKE HER CREEPY ASF. I was genunanly creeped out. And the detail that at the ranch if u listen closesly u can hear the whistle. Hell nah that was scary.

-Benrius Ben and Darius friendship, okay actually u can't tell me u didint feel it too, the tention between ben and Darius cmon we all know what u are Ben stop making up girlfriends in Europe

-Brooklynn turning bad, or from what we are told worked for bad people ig. Personally as much as it shocked me, im sure theres a good reason as to why and i cant wait to hear more abt in season 2.

-I can now undertand what everyone meant in reviews saying "its more mature" not only in the more death and dinos but it woyud be kind of confusing for a younger audience to undertsand some stuff in this show.

-I really liked Daniels kon death, maybe it wasn't necesarry but im all in for that dark death scene.

-Lastly the comment Sammy makes when Ben asks how bumpy got pregnant, and the yazs smirk. Gurl i was suprised they added that but i loved it

Now, the things that i didint like and why:

- First of all, Darius being in love with brooklynn. I mean i get it but i also dont get it. In my opinion, there shouldn't have been a different reason as to why Darius was the most effected by her death. They were close and she died. Its okay to be really effected by someones death and not bc u liked them, and i also do believe that the reason for him not showing up the night she "died" should have been smth more serious. Then again i get it bc now he felt a lot more guilt bc it was for a not so important reason he didint show up and thats why he didint tell anyone. Well axtually it isnt that bad, but i just felt it was forced for the plot. This again could be bc i started to like kenlynn and now they turned the tables completly but sure.

-Brooklynns voice actor. I just couldn't connect her to brooklynn? She sounded a lot different, not a major bad thing it was just hard to get used to.

-Ben having a gf, or supposedly having one, u telling me this man has a gf:

I thought it funny but yk that man is a homosexual

- and lastly, Brooklynn being alive. This might sound bad but it made sense for her to die. And i was kinda lamed out that she wasnt dead. (Pls ironically enough, just weeks ago i begged for her to be alive.) But like the way everyone suffered bc of her death, going throught the 5 stages of grief, and the way the show was played. It just would have been better if she died, all those flashbacks, the emotional moments, i mean its not gonna be the same when i rewatch it bc i know shes alive. Anyways enough abt this.

Actually i have nothing more to add to my "bad stuff" list but i might come up with smth later. Bc i will be rewatchibg it obviously. Ig lastly i just wanted more episodes how dare they cutting the season of right there.

I'm rewatching rememberances & oh my GOD people cant tell me that the writers weren't writing wu with gay coding in mind 😭 I was at the part where Mako said "i had to realize who i was without a lady in my life" and Wu was like "i know what that's like" and then everyone silently looks at him for 2 seconds? and then he hesitates and is like "only because im absolutely swimming in dames they all love me 🤭". obviously the writers couldn't explicitly have their LGBT characters confirm their identities because of nickelodeon but its so blatant and extremely possible that wu is actually gay and hits on women and talks about them constantly (even though hes really weird about it) as a way to overcompensate. and when you think about it the character he has the closest relationship to is...Mako😭

I have SO MANY FEELINGS about remembrances. Normally 'flashback episodes' are kinda just filler, bottle episodes. But something about remembrances just HITS DIFFERENT.

Mako saying "I realized I had to figure out who I was without a lady in my life." will forever replay in my brain... Wu's response to it is so fucking funny I laugh every time. "I know what that's like." says the guy who has not been shown on screen to successfully interact with a woman besides grandma Yin. Sure buddy.

Also I will never get over the fact that Wu says the words "I was born that way" like WAAAAAT. You cannot tell me the writers, who were in the process of crafting a subtle sapphic story for endgame korrasami, wrote those words without knowing the implications. CMON.

And listen Mako's entire story is about his past relationships, like BARELY touching on the larger story. He just sat down for 10 minutes explaining to Wu that he's single and he and his exes are just friends. Why Mako. why. why did you need to explain that to WU.

And the fucking. homoerotic sparring of it all. @buckybarnesss always calls it 'the intricate rituals of male touching' lmaoooo. Every time Wu gets in Mako's face, clutching his arms, close enough to kiss... I'm just like. can I reach into the screen and nudge their faces together. Just a little nudge is all it would take. Look:

The writers and animators fucking KNEW what they doing. There's no way they didn't. its such a gay episode.

and lets not forget the sapphic side of things in that episode. Asami's like "I thought you might be cold so I brought you some hot tea." To KORRA. Korra, who grew up in the FRIDGID SOUTH POLE and is also a FIREBENDER who could warm herself up easy. Gurl.

and like. even outside the queer coding in this episode, it's just delightful. the fucking little chibi popups in his flashback. Yin implying that Bohai cheated on her in scenario as convoluted as Mako's love triangle. Tu dropping the most accurate and eloquent assessment of Mako's issues in a single sentence: "it seems like you're so afraid to disappoint anyone that you end up disappointing everyone." TU. WUT. WHEN DID TU GET WISE. Tu and Wu high fiving.

In conclusion. Remembrances is top tier Wuko content. It's way more than a flashback filler episode.

ross - When you were little and started speaking little words you would point at ross and just say “tall” which always made everyone laugh. fr and even if idols have some way of acting thats different to them in on camera i still dont get the hate trains tho like live a little? cause words like overperforming and underperformkng are as annoying ss words like ugly and lazy yet in kpop its become a common trend ive noticed where if an idol is overperforming it doesnt make sense because then it means other members arent able to keep up or its just some members have one way of performing but their fans are like nope they doing too much and as for idols doing something that others find to be a problem like what even goes through peoples heads?

again kpops so vastly different bc it always about outward image of an idol or group or song rather than anything else and i think idols themselves maybe struggle to distance their idol image from their personal image if im being really honest some of them look a bit stiff if anything some seem to have stiff facials or do similar hand gestures in a robotic sense bc theyre held to such image. i wonder what meeting them would be like or like seeing them without a camera would be so interesting tbh.

the kpop industry is kind of a whole different entity and the way fans scrutinize idols is intense. the whole idea of "overperforming" or "underperforming" does feel odd when you think about it. like these idols are trained to perform in a certain way but when they put their spin on it or bring a lot of energy , some fans think it's too much. It's weird because it's almost like people want everyone to fit into a box , but then get upset when someone stands out or isn't "perfect" by their standards.

the constant criticism of appearance or performance. wether it's calling someone "lazy" or "ugly" or accusing them of "overacting" feels a bit too much persay. it's like people forget that these idols are human beings under immense pressure , constantly being watched and they’ve got this persona they’re trying to maintain for the fans , but it’s probably not 100% who they are off-camera.

and yeah , i bet seeing them off the stage would be completely different. there's so much that’s manufactured or polished for the public eye that it makes you wonder what they’re really like when they’re just themselves. the robotic hand gestures or stiff expressions could likely be a result of them trying to keep up with this image that’s been built for them. imagine trying to be perfect all the time , especially in a world like kpop where every little thing gets analyzed to death.

meeting idols without the cameras would be so revealing i think ? It might show that some of what fans criticize is just a product of the crazy industry they’re in , not who they are. like cmon gurl can we all just let them live ?

So i have to say i went into this drama with high expectations based on the cast, the cannes and peoples opinion i had seen. And i was a bit meh in the beginning. The first 2 eps are the lowest point of the drama (which is not bad by any means) but i really enjoy it as a whole. I´d say i enjoy it more than the actual quality of it, like it is good but its better for me because i like it, know what i mean?

So when i started watching and i hear him talk im surprised by the quality of the dubbing, he has the same voice! Then i found out its actually him, nice, another positive. Overall, would i wish that the main actor was kazakh? yes; where the chances high for that? no; am i satisfied with the end result? pretty much.

Like hello??? They’re acting like someone killing your dad shouldn’t bother you or something, like it’s something you can brush aside no problem. And then when Barry gets angry ab Zoom, very justifiable, their best solution is to tranq Barry and lock him in a cell to “calm him down”.

Then after Wally frees him, Jesse’s all like, “Guys, Barry isn’t in his cell anymore.”

Like GURL. He didn’t belong in there in the first place.

I remember Cisco telling him to, “Take a breath and calm down.” If I were Barry that’s just gonna piss me off even more. Nothing against Cisco but like cmon. Is there no sympathy for what Barry’s going thru?

YEPPPP it infuriated me the first time, and I didn’t get the reasoning or thought process at all. On reflection, I understand what they were thinking, but that still doesn’t make it okay. And it still pisses me off.

Like…okay, you want him to calm down so you can make a plan of attack so Zoom doesn’t destroy him again (this is never stated by anyone iirc—it’s something I deduced, which is worse, because their actions really come off as even worse without knowing the why). But…locking him in the Pipeline?? How exactly is that supposed to calm him down when he’s literally grieving?? In that entire episode, they all treated him like he was a ticking time bomb!

They didn’t sit him down and commiserate with him (hey guys? You’ve literally all had to grieve someone before. Mayhaps a little more sensitivity/empathy would go a long way here??) and lay it all out for him! Say “listen, we all want Zoom dead, and your anger is absolutely valid. But you cannot go after him like this—he’s hurt you before when you were fighting him with a level head, and if you go at him without a plan again, he could hurt you worse.” Sure, maybe Barry wouldn’t be amenable to being rational in his current state, but even so…supporting him, being there for him beyond just the funeral, and not treating him like he’s “corrupted” or something but rather someone in deep grief who needs help and support? That would’ve been so much better. There had to be a better way than locking him in the Pipeline like a common meta of the week.

Not to mention, as @alittleflashvibe said…the plan they came up with, if it succeeded*, would’ve condemned E2 to suffer at Zoom’s hands forever! How exactly is that heroic??

*which was a big if—Wally was right, Barry was the only one who stood a chance of defeating Zoom. Imagine how much worse Zoom could’ve hurt all the other non-speedsters?? And Cisco’s powers are so new—he has the potential to stop a speedster, but he certainly hasn’t learned that in s2!

my wacky animal crossing band AU headcanon hehe haha huhu

okay real talk i’ve had this little fake band thing in my head for years and I wanna get it out

so this is inspired by a line where isabelle da dog mentions having a band. they play fast wacky post-hardcore jazzpunk together.

the lineup is:

cherry - guitar, occasional vocal

tabby - bass, main vocalist

isabelle - percussion, other main vocalist

idk what their band name is. i prob would've named them something stupid like "Yeastie Girlz" or some shit if that name wasn't already taken.

isabelle and cherry know each other from youth when they did juvie kid shit back in the day lol. they stayed hooked up with each other when they went through their own young adult periods, and then went back to living in the same town when they moved to the poppin island village of Mycelium. they met tabby on that island and she joined up with their band because of simpatico vibes.

releases are usually albums with a shitload of small tracks with maybe one or two kinda long ones, and then sometimes an EP with a small number of really long tracks. cherry throws a lot of effects on her guitar so her playing ends up sounding like a bunch of loud chirping and wobbly metal scraping and wee woo wee woo. tabby plays her bass lines fast, has a boppy funky sound to playing, is not afraid to put on an effect pedal though usually to make her bass to sound like a wall of grotty rhythmic drones. isabelle can’t really go free jazz freakish on percussion bc their songs are ultimately too structured to allow that, but she tries! she can also do blastbeats. really fucking technical, building all those PWPs must’ve made her jacked

they're all pretty serious about their love of jazz. alright here's more info about them individually

isabelle - she grew up in the country and still has that farm kid twang to her voice. crazy childhood but filing taxes really ended up affecting her deeply and now she's by far the most well-adjusted member of the group if you define "well-adjusted" in a certain way. got a very impressive engineering degree in college, and as a reward she now works a lousy government job for a pittance + 500 bells that she WILL spend impulsively on something stupid. cherry sometimes jokes around about how she's a sellout for that but it aint serious, she understands the common worker's struggle. and, yknow, isabelle sincerely cares about doing the best for her town in the system she's stuck in so like, cmon dont be harsh on her. her public face is pretty mild-mannered, sometimes shes kinda matter-of-fact about things, but overall she nails that peppy energy everyone loves to receive from people in service when she's not flubbing stuff too much. in her personal life -- well, she doesn't have THAT many friends out there -- but with the ones she does have, she likes to be a little goofball, especially when linking zany energies with tabby. she has like a 4 year old's sense of humor but if anyone can sell peepee poopoo humor its her dumb ass. sings lead vocals on about half of their songs, her voice is loud, bright, and honestly pretty goofy because of that Country Gurl accent she has, but fits well with the generally nonserious and kinda everything-happening-at-once vibe of their music. what're her fits like, btw? an absolutely delightfully meticulous (she comes up with 90% of her wardrobe on the fly) combination of christian girl autumn, normcore, sillywave, raymondpunk, bio-wibbletech, and just a dash of edgy looking band merch or novelty t-shirts to really complete the look.

cherry - the thoughful, philosophical engine of the group even though she hardly writes any lyrics and mostly sits in the back making funny neenee noodleynoo noises with her guitar but trust me here. grew up in the same rural town as isabelle, and ended up moving back in a town where izzy now works! (its only like 75% a coincidence, she had to chase the money and figured Mycelium job market and being able to see her bestie was the best choice) She works a dead-end bullshit retail job on the island and always looks like she wants to kill everybody there. very loudly a proud commie through and through, she likes to wear this little red-guard lookin hat everywhere. the band are not embarrassed about their leftist messaging but cherry is by far the most motivated to stir up some shit. she helps organize locally and is very serious about reading up on Theory and has very little tolerance for poseurs. VERY occasionally does lead vocals, in that case she's writing the lyrics, hers are a lot more existential and political in nature than the other two's. very deep voice, she basically sounds like a scary Goth yknow? her singing voice is monotone and basically just her normal voice with more authority. she likes to put on an austere face but she's the easiest to make laugh, even at isabelle's dumbass jokes -- the other gals of course take advantage of this to tease her. as a strongly passionate individual she is also the most likely to start ranting at her computer screen when she's having trouble with something. she's got a pretty solid costume for concert appearances and photo ops that makes her probably the most recognizable member: Mao hat, long jacket, ragged looking pants, combat boots, and a pair of sunglasses.

tabby - every band needs the crazy one! she could bomb a hospital and the band would still have to drag her along because she's just that fucking good at bass. absolutely crazy mastery of speed and technique, her bouncing basslines usually provide a melodic counterpart to cherry's industrial vague notions towards "music" and whatever the fuck isabelle is doing back there. she's the only one without any classical training, though! as the lead bassist, she keeps the lead guitarist and lead drummer in check, creating a beautiful homeostasis of chaotic, highly technical songwriting and playing with all the brutality and energy of hardcore punk but also some of that inherent nerd-ass quality that comes with having three extremely proficient instrumentalists that know how to do a lot of things with their instruments. but enough of that bullshit, we gotta get to her VOCALS! she covers the majority of non-isabelle songs and her voice contrasts nicely -- isabelle has a deeper voice, sings brashly and over-the-top like she's eartha kitt doing i wanna be evil if she held her notes twice as long, but yknow she's been in classes for that and knows what she's doing and has a wide octave range. tabby meanwhile sounds like a living cartoon character.... BECAUSE SHE IS ONE!! but seriously she's got that high pitched peppy voice, but with enough roughness and scratchyness to it to make it actually fit the music. her speaking voice is actually pretty normal, but on the mic she leans into the most nasal, obnoxious tones possible. she got that shmorky voice to her i wont lie BUT SHE MAKES IT WORK!!! just say shes like uhhhh female psychicpebbles or something so you dont make her look lame. im being overdramatic about her voice btw, she actually has a pretty decent range and a FANTASTIC growl + scream but those only come out every-so-often. her lyrics are often violent, disgusting, brutally blunt in detail, and she's the one most inclined to doing crazy antics on stage. she usually comes to concerts in full leather wrapped with chains and parts of her body tied up and shit and like whatever nasty looking medical equipment she could find to put on her face and after each concert will be taken home bleeding from at least 2 or 3 different places. she's pretty chill irl though, but definitely as big as a goofball as isabelle. isabelle's the one that always takes leads on a goof attack, and tabby plays second-hand along with chief goof-strategist much to the annoyance/mirth of cherry. isabelle and cherry dont know much about her past yet bc she's pretty mum on talking about it much, but apparently she had rich parents but cut contact with them years back, and now just has an average ol life doing part time as a janitor, odd jobs on the side, and living in a nasty little apartment with her roomie katt. still, that general wealth helped a little, and she was able to build what she saved into a fairly stable life, so she's usually the one paying out of pocket for most of the band expenses. she's legit though, u know that because cherry would've beat her up otherwise

umm yess that's basically all i have to say i will post more if i remember more. if nintendo hires me i will also add to the canon that their 1st album name is "Poopin in the Boys Room" but that's not canon yet.

Everyone assumed when we were kids we were just playing. Saving cats and doing bake sales….yes we would do that but we also fought crab people and coked out cultist cops. We aren't normal. We're mutants, aliens, altered humans and more.

Ring

Ramona jumped at hearing the bell. She had begun to doze off as her teacher had started rambling about politics during math. 

"Ey douchebag get up we've gotta get ta Tokin's house to help cleen" Cartman smacked her shoulder. 

"Ow good grief Cartman" she grumbled and grabbing her bag. "I gotta drop by the pharmacy first" 

"Get your gurl drugs later CMON" 

"Why did we let you back in" she grumbled as she's dragged to the bus 

"I'm just saying if you keep using that store crap you'll be balding by fourty-Cartman stopping dragging Ro!" Kyle yelled

"Kyel we gotta go now Tokin there's an EEmergecy" 

"Crap really?" Stan exclaimed as they followed.

"Cartman I can walk" Ramona yanks free and runs along beside. 

"Wait what about Kenny-" 

"He's gotta get his sistar" Cartman rolled his eyes like it was a dumb question. 

As they run past the middle school Cartman this time grabs Kenny's arm who is holding onto Karen's bag.

"Cartman wtf" he yelps as he and his lil sis are dragged 

"Eemergency leave Karin with Sam."

"I don't wanna hang with a three old." 

After Cartman nearly got a black eye for calling Karen a bitch. The six arrive and get buzzed in. 

"You made it we have a class C- oh um hi Karen. Wanna go play on my Switch?" Tolkien yelped

"Ya'll are weird so yeah. Can I play Mariokart"

"Yep" 

They quickly shoo her to the game room before sighing.

"What type of class C?" Stan asked confused

"You know how Mephesto has been working on some "secret" thing"

"Is it a cat with 5 butts?" Stan asked annoyed

"No just….come down to the base."

Tolkien takes them to the basement where Wendy and Timmy are waiting. 

"Timmy!" Timmy exclaimed pointing at the computer screen.

The nearby farm was being wrecked by a large multi-assed hippo wolf.

"...what" began Cartman.

"The" continued Kenny.

"Fuck" said Kyle.

"AGAIN WITH THE BUTTS" groaned Ramona face palming. 

"Not the important thing" Timmy telepathically remind her. He wheeled himself over "We'll need Sunstar, Human Kite, and Mysterion." 

"What about meeee!" Cartman whined. 

"Mephesto wants it back alive," Tolkien began "Sunstar's flight and strength can carry it, Human Kite can use his calming wind to sooth it and Mysterion can create shadow shields to corale it. We did only ask for you to pass on the message to those three." 

"Why didn't you text us?" Kyle asked as he removed his contacts.

"Jeez, don't do that in front of us Kyel" 

"Shut up fatass" 

"There's interference with the com's app" Wendy answered as she worked with the tablet. "Stupid only level 30 encryption GAH!" She yelps as a virus jump scares her and she 404s. 

"Wendy!" Stan yelped to go help her recover.

The trio awkwardly get ready before changing before taking off.
