also on a fully unrelated note to the rest of my blog my favorite thing about the qsmp is quackity realizing just how unique the phenomenon he created is every two weeks. the eggs were just some cute almost pets to take care of, until everyone got emotionally attached and now the players would commit crimes against humanity for their minecraft children. bringing creators from all over the world together resulted on some unlikely friendships that never would have happened otherwise, think roier and cellbit, philza and forever, charlie and mariana, jaiden and roier, and so many more. and if the cinema night proves anything, it's that the fanbase is immensely creative, making everything from hilarious memes to an amazing 10-minute moving comic diving deeper into a character's lore with quality worthy of professional animation. like... godspeed you lil Mexican streamer, good on you for accidentally creating one of the coolest things I have seen on Twitch in recent years

Forevers character is so funny. Competent, rich, genious man, who is cracked at the craft and cares deeply for his family. He uses his huge brain to protect the eggs at all costs. He is thoughtful, determined and consistent in his goals.

Enter Phil. A random gremlin of a man who happens to look like someone Forever knows.

Proceed to reduce Forever to a complete idiot. This man is now feral for one thing only - the love of a man whos only traits are violence on sight and boosh boosh.

Was looking up things about q!Antoine (as a normal and sane person do) and I am really intrigued and fascinated by his thoughts on the election and everyone. If you think q!BBH doesn't trust easy, q!Antoine doesn't trust ANYONE.

There is notes on a lot of the residents in his secret room (called literally "The End of the World" BTW if you even care) and some parts I find captivating and wanted to share here : (caught those on his page on the wiki, he said he will show us more of those at a later date)

About q!Cellbit :

"His favourite thing was to hang out with Cucurucho. Is he the real Federation candidate ? It is too obvious that Elquackity is corrupted, nobody in good conscience can vote for him. About q!Forever :

"Close to BBH and Baghera. The three of them were acting really strangely but that behavior is dying down with the election (keeping informations to themselves, secret meetings). He doesn't seem to follow the same train of thoughts than BBH and Baghera. He wants to become president but act like those who "don't really want to be". Has a strange and clouded relationship with Cellbit."

Then there is what he thinks about the others that he said onstream, and that I'm pulling from memory right now :

About q!BBH and q!Baghera : He seems to think they can be adequate for president but REALLY doesn't like the way they are secretive about a lot of things relating to the island and their plans, making them too untrustworthy to become president to him.

He's said multiple times that his favorite candidates are q!Mike and Gegg, but he has reservations : q!Mike to him has good ideas, but similarly to some, wants to be president a bit too much to be trusted in his opinion. As for Gegg, q!Antoine basically agrees with everything he said, but thinks the Federation is way too powerful for it to be achievable.

To him the elections are pointless and only serves the federation. He agrees with a lot of ideas of a lot of candidates, but thinks it doesn't matter since the Federation remains the ones in power, and WILL have the final word on everything. His wish would be to not play the Federation's game, but then again you can't let someone like ElQuackity or Foolish win.

As of now what he decided to do, is keep an eye on everyone and everything happening, while not taking part in anything.

now with the knowledge that the only reason qfit is OUT of 2b is because of this sponsor who's making him do this stuff, it makes me wonder if This is kind of what spurred him to be so aggressively pro-tazercraft when it came to them and prisons.

like, the guy spent many years Stuck in a self-described hellscape which was really His prison, and he's only just now gotten an escape. now when he sees pac n mike trying to break out, being traumatized by what they've gone through, all he sees is something he knew of, or could've prevented

I feel like, as a late member of the QSMP fandom, I’m still stuck on the Rusis Potion arc. Like. You’re telling me this Minecraft SMP server casually had a whole arc about drug abuse and addiction and the way they were saved was by one of the people who were addicted (Pac) push through it enough and have just enough hope to find the antidote and everyone stood by them and assured them they wouldn’t be alone??? THAT IS SO GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL WTF. I CAN’T GET OVER IT.

I don't regularly keep up with the qsmp, and yet "a cage for a cage" made me cry real tears. and the reason why is easy: q!Phil's greatest strength and weakness are paradoxically the same thing: his love of Chayanne and Tallulah. Daedalus and Icarus combined, a man who would do anything for his children, who would easily burn down the island if it meant getting them back, and yet a simple ruse was enough to lure him right into the Federation's hands.

give a man a reason to fight and he will do anything in his power to get it back. throw him an ounce of hope, and he will crawl to you like a poor man begging for food from a king. and you will sneer at him, like the king does, disgusted at his presence at your feet, watching the mighty fall to the pits of the despair you've inflicted on him.

it's cruel. it must be an unbearable circumstance, to realize that you fell into a trap orchestrated by the same people who gave you your own universe to fight for, just to suddenly rip it all away from you with no warning or explanation. to realize that you can't protect anything you love from the monsters of the Federation, even you yourself falling under their clutches. that not only you, but your fucking children, the light of your world, you are all stuck at the mercy of their sinister plans, and there is no longer anything you can do to save them now, because you're stuck. trapped. caged.

because revenge is a game of multiple turns. it's like warfare—heartless, calculated, devastating. it's game, and a statement, and a threat, all at once. and you win if you opponent breaks, which Phil did.

it's hell on Earth, for him and for them. a cage, for a cage, for a cage.
