ayy which, in your opinion, is the best captain boomerang adaptation in (comics, shows, movies, etc.)? I want some recommendations :))
Boy oh boy did you come to the right place because apparently I'm the expert in this ordeal! Finally a question I can answer.
In terms of comics, I have this handy dandy reading list right here. It's not very organized but it does the job. It's also not really in order.
In terms of shows... He's only in the Arrow TV show (which did Digger SUPER DIRTY BTW. DO NOT RECOMMEND), around 30 seconds 4 Star Spectacular! (from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon) (Voice acting was Not Good. This has nothing to do with the actor here, it more just... Don't get an American to voice an Australian), 1 minute of the Harley Quinn show's Valentine's Day special (He doesn't really do anything here let's be honest), the episode Leverage in the Young Justice cartoon (also don't really recommend because of one line he has directed at an nb teenager), and the episodes Task Force X and Flash and Substance (the only ones I can really recommend).
The live action movies were Not Good™ (just my opinion. Like... he's got 0 personality other than Sleazeball and Asshole) with Boomer either so don't touch those. He was in a little bit of Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. The acting was atrocious. Do not recommend. Suicide Squad: Blaze was really bad. Justice League Dark: Apocalypse War was not it. There's also Batman: Assault on Arkham. Despite the name it's actually a Suicide Squad movie. It's also no longer canon to the Arkhamverse but it is canon to the prequel comics to the Arkhamverse, except for Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum, which is canon. He's only in about 2 of the Arkham Knight comics and they don't really do anything with him. As for the movie itself I have mixed feelings on because the VA for Boomer in Assault on Arkham is a Men's Rights Activist who supports JK Rowling. He's also British so the Aussie accent dives more into British Cockney territory at times. Personality wise he's... Fine. Could be better. Could be worse.
Also he's going to be in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It's a game that comes out February 2nd. And February 6th is when the prequel comic Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum will release. I know you're at least aware of the game though.

I recently decided to watch all Batman movies. Then I saw how many movies that was, and added a bunch of qualifiers. It’s still too many movies but, you know, we do what we can.
I’m going to be posting about each movie after I watch it. I don’t expect this to be interesting to anyone who isn’t me but I might as well document the process. More rambling details under the cut.
The full list of theatrical and direct-to-video movies that feature Batman was 83 movies long, 84 if you count Catwoman (2004) which I do intend to watch for reasons of historical significance even though Batman doesn’t appear in it. For purposes of this list, a movie counts as a Batman movie if Bruce Wayne, or another character acting as Batman, has at least one line of dialogue. Crowd scenes like Space Jam 2 don’t count but baby Bruce in the Joker does.
The first qualifier that I tried was that I wouldn’t watch anything with a runtime under 1 hour, or anything that was just episodes of a TV show edited together, but this didn’t pare down the list nearly as much as I hoped. I really didn’t want to use different qualifiers for direct-to-video movies versus theatrical releases, but I made it about 10 minutes into Mask of the Phantasm before I was forced to confront the fact that I don’t actually care about Bruce Wayne The Man Himself that much. So for direct-to-video movies, at least one of his children has to be in it as well. Theatrical movies get to skip this requirement because otherwise I wouldn’t be watching uh, almost any of them.
These qualifiers only mark which movies are mandatory - I’ll probably end up watching a bunch that break these rules, but at least this takes the pressure off a bit lol
I haven’t gone back through and culled the list yet, so here is the full list of 84 movies.

Here’s mine!
#28: A literal zombie. (Blackest Night)
#27: Probably the hardest glow down in comics history. (Identity Crisis)
#26: He was okay but wasn’t in it enough to really matter. (The Flash series)
#25: He looks a ripoff version of himself. (DC Universe Online)
#24: Neat design, but not much to go on. (Alien Guy)
#23: Not a fan of this era in general (especially most of the 2011-2013 era) but this is a decent design! (New 52)
#22: Don’t know much about him, but this comic sounds like what happened with Red Hood: The Hill: named after him, doesn’t show up. (Most Wanted)
#21: Kinda meh. (Flash: Sins of the Father arc)
#20: Interesting concepts! (Brightest Day)
#19: He came, he saw, he ate. (Young Justice)
#18: Survived the apocalypse, served looks (Justice League Dark: Apocalypse War)
#17: Great in Task Force X, but THAT HAIR. (Justice League: Unlimited, “Task Force X”)
#16: HE DESERVED BETTER. (The Suicide Squad)
#15: Doesn’t do anything but like the design. (Harley Quinn)
#14: He gets to be with the Rogues and kick ass! (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox)
#13: I love his design here but points deducted for being creepy about Deadshot’s kid. (Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay)
#12: Kinda bland like the rest of the movie but was pretty good (2016 Suicide Squad film)
#11: Decent design! (Lego DC Supervillians)
#10: Gotta love the classic! Weird that he’s with the Batman Rogues, however. (The Lego Batman Movie)
#9: He’s a little guy. He should have tried the Batarangs. (Batman: The Brave and The Bold)
#8: One of my favorite parts of the movie. (Batman: Assault On Arkham)
#7: He deserved more than the background. (Injustice animated adaptation)
#6: The return of the king! (Rebirth Suicide Squad)
#5: The OG guy! His 80s era is a mixed bag. (60’s-2000’s)
#4: A GLOW UP! I love him and his flying boomerang. (Justice League: Unlimited, “Flash and Substance”)
#3: Oh he’s pretty. And a disaster man. I love him. (Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League)
#2: THOSE ARMS AND SMILE. AUGHHHHH. (Stepan Simek Digger)
#1: Look at this cutie. He’s Australian Bond and I want a prequel about it. (Agent of Oz arc)

I made a tier list...
please make your own!! I need to see boomer nations opinions on our man!!!! I know the tiers are actually so vile so change them if you desire :)))
OK so my quick blurb on why they are their!! (working worst to best)
28. Identity Crisis #5 - HE WOULD KILL ME FOR THE FUN OF IT. It did bring about the most random rivalry between Tim drake’s fandom and boomer's which is very funny
27. Black Lantern - Oh no… he's back… like a boomerang. Ate his own son... RIP…. L skill issue
26. Sliver Age - Would actually call me a slur and say that I don't deserve rights. He would hate crime me and then solicit me for sex. He looks like he's wearing a dress… what a pretty lady.
25. Flash TV Show - EWWWWWWWW, he though he ate...
24. DC Online - He looks like he would punch me in face at a NYC bus stop
23. White Lantern - Don't look at me like that… stop. He's back from the dead like a boomerang?? Something about most of the New 52 boomerangs don't hit the same. the bride all in white :’)
22. Young Justice - Gave me the ick. You might be thinking... he looks identical to SS hell to pay, why is he down here?? Great question… HE WAS SO CREEPY TO ONE OF THE GIRLS IN YOUNG JUSTICE….. WHO IS A MINOR!
21. Injustice Movie - Just because your in the background… doesn't save you from this list!!!
20. New 52 - Ok he's kinda hot if you look through your peripherals…Why are you wearing skinny jeans… you millennial
19. Harley Quinn TV Show - He's fine… just fine. “We’ll stack out bingo… Boomer loves an older woman” NO HE MUST LOVE ME! I AM VERY VERY MATURE FOR MY AGE
18. Flash: Sins of the Father - Can you please stop talking in the 3rd person… you are starting to sound crazy.
17. Most Wanted - I know jack shit about him. That's probably because he is barely in a comic issues THATS NAMED AFTER HIM!
16. Flash Point Paradox - His fight scene actually ate. I'm a sucker for Boomer being with the Rogues. If cyborg can take his belt off… so can I
15. Suicide Squad 2021 - Wow they somehow gave him even less lines than his first movie. 1. He doesnt look like boomer. 2. His accent is so bad… and hes AUSTRALIAN 3. His acting low key kinda mid 4. They killed off two of the only OG suicide squad members they had on the cast 5. He dies in the first 20min and in the most disrespectful way
14. Suicide Squad 2016 - The only good thing to come from this man is the fanfiction he brought. THIS FUCKING MOVIE MADE HIM A CANON BRONY WHICH I CAN NOT FORGIVE. GET THIS OUT OF MY SMUT BEFORE FREAK THE FUCK OUT >:( Fuck him and pinky too, you son of a bitch!!!! (its not that serious lol... i just want him to stop fucking a toy horse... please guys)
13. This Goober Alien Guy - I know nothing. He just kinda showed up… and I'm not mad just a little confused. He looks like he needs a hot chocolate and a hug :))))
12. Lego Batman Movie - Low key an icon. What I would do to get my hands on one of these sets… I would come close to killing someone for it
11. DC Lego Super Villains - If he wasn't Lego I would propose (Shane Dawson style) Once again what I would do for the very discontinued Lego set tie in…
10. Batman: Brave and The Bold - Those cheekbones could cut someone. Why are you wear a mini skirt… take it off ;)
9. Suicide Squad (comic) - Yes I know he was drinking and driving but he's not real so it doesn't count!!! The beginning of the Boomer Mobile! THE GAP TOOTH DUDE!
8. Justice League Unlimited S1 - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Ok the hairline is… bad…. But so is mine twin!! I LOVE THAT THEY GAVE HIM PROPER CLOTHES AND NOT RAGS DUDE
7. Agent of Oz - is this picture is my school profile pic...yes… and??HE'S COVERED IN BLOOD AND IM GIGGLING!!!!!!!!!!!
6. Stjepan Sejic's Boomer - Choke hold and choke me...  I want to hear his voice but he can't break his mewing streak…The ungodly things I would let him do to me
5. Dark: Apocalypse War - Constantine! Boomer! GIRLS! GIRLS!! ILL SLEEP WITH BOTH OF YOU!!! I was not expecting him in this movie so I started to freak out when he showed up DUDE. PLEASE LET ME SIT ON IT
4. Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay - I'm a ride he wouldn't survive… I DONT HAVE WORDS TO DECRIBE HOW I FEEL DUDE… I WOULD DO ANYTHING HE ASKED FOR NO JOKE. Dead on the floor
3. Justice League Unlimited S2 - The glow up in REAL... had me on my hands and knees as a 3rd grader… and still on my knees today. I have never wanted someone to fuck me in the back alleyway of a shit bar so bad in my life
2. Batman: Assault on Arkham - The one that started it all… he is the reason I am this way. no lube, no protection, all night, all day, from the kitchen floor to the toilet seat, from the dining table to the bedroom BUT GREG ELLIS IS PUBLIC ENIME NUMDER ONE. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID!!!!
AND THE BEST ONE!!!!!!!! WE ALL SAW IT COMING
1. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - I AM GNAWING ON THE IRON BARS OF MY ENCLOSURE!!!!!! He has it all, the face, the VOICE, the look, the character!!!!! It is hands down the most consistently good representation of captain boomerang out their… and its canon that's he has a big dick :D I would sell my first born to get one night…
Thank you all for reading this word vom, I am sick in the head <3
if any of the comic issues are off or something please let me know :)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make your our and tag me!! i need to see them <3<3<3

So, superhero movies. It took Hollywood studios several years, at least three whole decades, to get them pegged down right, but we’re currently living in the age of a superhero movie renaissance, thanks largely to efforts from Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox, and less so to efforts from Warner Bros. and Sony, and with the occasional gems from other studios. With another big year for such movies (and movies in general) on the horizon, I compiled a list of all notable superhero moves I could find, not even just the major Hollywood production or theatrical releases but the direct to video animated features as well, and have divided them into categories of ones I love (favorites), ones I like (solid or at least passable entertainment but not really a cut above that), and ones I dislike or hate (least favorites.) It’s kind of sad that the numbers get higher with each listing, but again, this genre took years to really perfect.
Please note that I include only superhero movies that, regardless of tone, are legit superhero movies, not deliberate parodies of superhero movies. Meaning no Mystery Men, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Superhero Movie, Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, Lego Specials, etc. here.

DC Primer By Erza155 (for the absolute n00b
ok, before you even look at all of this, just know that this is all my personal opinion. just so you know
Movies
               Live Action
Justice League- Awesome. Awesome. You’ve probably already seen it.
Wonder Woman- See above.
Man of Steel- The first time I actually found myself actually being interested in Superman. This movie pushed me to actually research into Superman and see something beyond the corn-fed all-American boy narrative idiotic fanboys have shoved down our gullets for the last few decades.
Suicide Squad- Bomb soundtrack. It’s weird but it’s worth a try. A few members of the Justice League make 3 second cameos.
Batman vs Superman- The movie that launched a thousand superbat shippers. I personally like the cinammonmatography, but a lot of people disagree but that’s them.
Superman (2006)- I’m not sure how I feel about this movie. But Brandon Routh is pretty. And Routh!Superman/Bale!Batman was pretty big for a while. But it’s rare to see that around anymore.
               Cartoons
Superman vs the elite- Superman fights British dudes and goes crazy because of red kryptonite. People actually die because of Superman’s direct actions.
Justice League Animated Movies (2012-2017) Chronological Order
Justice League: Doom- Vandal Savage uses stolen information from Batman's secret files to mastermind a plan to exterminate the Justice League. That’s the plot. I actually don’t remember if I actually watched this movie? Make of that what you will.
Justice League: War- New 52 cartoon of the Justice League. This is how they come together in the new DC Universe. Has some casual Overlaps with the live action Justice League (2017) movie. Fun watch. Also, great banter between Green Lantern and Batman.
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox- Sadness. There’s a few moments of happiness, but this movie is fucking sad. It deals with what happens when you fuck with the timeline and it’s mcfucking weird. Now that the plebian opinion is out of the way, I personally loved this movie. It was so twisted and it made my tiny heart flutter.
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis- Atlanteans are coming for you bitches and Batman is not happy. ™
Justice League: Gods and Monsters- AU version of justice league. It’s bomb. It’s like Injustice and Justice Lords but with Vampires!
Justice League vs Teen Titans- Exactly what it says on the cereal box with additional prizes on the inside. But, this is the new teen titans led by my favorite brat, Damian Wayne.
Justice League: Dark- Magic! Adventure! Gambling with demons! Sassy Batman. This movie is coming for your wig. Be prepared. It’s awesome and I love it. But then again, I’m a slut for DC.
               Batman Movies
Batman: The Killing Joke- This one is weird. Read the original comic book instead.
Batman: Assault on Arkham- Suicide Squad, The Cartoon!
Batman: Gotham Knight- Apparently if you liked the Dark Knight Trilogy, this is the movie for you. It fills in the blanks for certain spots that the movies don’t touch and it has an interesting animation style.
(There’s a bunch more but I don’t exactly have high opinions of those, so yeah…)
Batman Has Problems with his Children/ Batman’s Problematic Children
Batman: Under the Red Hood- Jason Todd (Robin #2) comes back from the dead and kicks ass. Additional awesomeness in that Jason Todd is voiced by Jensen Ackles.
Son of Batman (2014)/ Batman vs Robin (2015)/ Batman: Bad Blood (2016)- Damian Wayne trilogy. If you like hyperviolent, bratty children who learn to come to terms with themselves, this is the movie for you. If not, oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Batman and Superman Are Totally Super Manly Men Who Work Well Together
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies- Batman and Superman work together to stop Lex Luthor and a meteorite. I don’t remember watching this.
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse- Direct sequel to the above but can function as a stand-alone. Batman and Superman go to another planet. Wonder Woman and the Amazons are awesome. Big Barda reminds me once again that I am Gay™ for strong women. Supergirl is introduced.
 TV Shows
               Live Action
Smallville- The original. This baby ran for an actual fucking decade. And every live action superhero show that is currently airing in the U.S. needs to thank this show because it’s what started the whole phase.
Arrow- This show is about Green Arrow and a lot of people like it. I think I gave up somewhere between seasons 2 and 3. It wasn’t my cup of tea. The reason I’m mentioning it is because, it actually started an entire spinoff universe known as the arrow verse and every year there’s a really big crossover that gives lots of nerds boners. (me included)
The Flash- Spinoff of the Arrow? But it’s about the Flash. It’s #2 in the arrow verse. It’s interesting and I love it. They made Iris West black and I was here for it. Candice Patton is amazing, and each season only gets better. The more characters they add, the happier I am. Although, I do bitch sometimes. (I have never been satisfied- Hamilton)
Legends of Tomorrow- Spinoff of The Arrow and The Flash. Secondary characters from both shows come together in this show and travel through time. It’s beautiful. Like it’s actually really great. Please watch it. Also #3 of the Arrow Verse.
Supergirl- 1st season was by CBS and is currently the only season I’ve watched. It was pretty decent but it took a lot of Superman’s villains and transplanted them to Supergirl’s story. Also, Tyler Hoechlin played Superman in this show for a hot minute. People liked it. I try not to think about it too much. #4 in the arrow verse.
Arrow Verse Wiki for more info
Additionally, the DCEU has a bunch of extensive shows that do not relate to superheroes like Lucifer, Izombie, and Preacher. ← All of which are awesome shows with supernatural aspects by the way.
               Cartoons (In no Particular Order)
Young Justice-  Babies. Beautiful Babies. Season 3 is supposed to come out this year and I would sell my grandmother to salt mines just for an early peek.
Static Shock- Cartoon with a young black protagonist? Sign the fuck up! This show was my shit! It’s honestly really awesome and positive.
Teen Titans- You already know.
Batman the Brave and the Bold- Classic. Timeless. There’s not enough space or time. This show introduced me to Plastic Man and I would die for this show. And this version of Batman is honestly just amazing and everyone in this show is amazing. I love it.
Justice League- Ok so the original show is awesome but I don’t care if you watch it or not. The only thing I care about is that you watch the specific episodes I am going to list.
Episode #37- Season 2 Episode 11 “A Better World Part 1”
Episode #38- Season 2 Episode 12 “A Better World Part 2”
These two episodes are my shit. Please watch it. I’ve watched these specific episodes so many times. Just please.
Batman Beyond- Bruce Wayne is old and there is a new young Batman. This show is weird, but the interesting kind of weird. It wasn’t my cup of tea, but I didn’t hate it. Some of the episodes were actually gold though. Harley Quinn has twin Granddaughters.
Video Games
You’re asking the wrong person sorry. The only video game I care about is Injustice and I only watch the playthroughs for the Lore (animated version).
 Comics
               Personal Faves:
·         DC Bombshells
·         Gotham City Sirens
·         Injustice
·         Red Hood and the Outlaws
·         Earth One series
New 52 vs Golden Age vs silver Age
Ok, so unfortunately, comics are weird. Like really fucking weird.
This is the Timeline you need to remember in regards to DC specifically
Golden Age- 1930s to 1950s. Comic books were first being published. Batman was a caricature, and used guns. Superman fought the KKK.
Silver Age- mid 1950s to 1970s. Post World War 2. Introduced new heroes like the Flash. Parallel Universes introduced.
Bronze Age- 1970 to 1985. Teen superheroes are now an established thing. Also, DC fucked up a lot but these times are past
Modern Age- Hi! It’s your buddies dark and gritty storylines. Anything from 1985 until now falls into this era/age.
New 52- 2011 relaunch by DC. Introduced new canon and fucked all of us up.
Rebirth- 2016 relaunch. Once again, fucked all of us up.
Pick and choose what you want. It’s what we’re all doing.
If you want an additional document for shipping, please inform me.

The Dark Knight lightens up! Exclusive supercut of funniest moments from DC's animated movies
yahoo
From Adam West’s Batman to Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor, it’s well established that one of the best weapons in a superhero’s arsenal is a super sense of humor. Even as the DC Extended Universe has struggled to integrate humor into movies such as Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the animated versions of the company’s galaxy of heroes have been cracking wise for a decade and counting.  A new box set, DC Universe Original Movies: 10th Anniversary Collection, collects 30 animated features starring the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Aquaman, and the Teen Titans. As this supercut — which Yahoo Entertainment is premiering exclusively today — illustrates, these films often alternate slam-bang action and yuk-yuk gags.
The current version of DC’s animated universe started with 2007’s Superman: Doomsday, which loosely adapted the famous Death of Superman storyline from the comics. Almost every subsequent entry has also been based on a graphic novel (such as Batman: Year One and Batman: The Killing Joke) or a specific arc that ran in comic book form (such as Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract). Besides 10 years’ worth of movies, this new box set also boasts short features (including one about how Mark Hamill perfected his iconic Joker laugh) and video footage of an all-star panel discussion from this year’s Comic-Con. No joke: It’s a superhero fan’s dream gift.
Here’s a list of all the titles included:
 Superman: Doomsday
 Justice League: The New Frontier
Batman: Gotham Knight
Wonder Woman Commemorative Edition
 Green Lantern: First Flight
 Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths
Batman: Under The Red Hood
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
 All-Star Superman
 Green Lantern: Emerald Knights
 Batman: Year One
 Justice League: Doom
 Superman vs The Elite
The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1
The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2
 Superman: Unbound
 Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
 Justice League: War
 Son of Batman
 Batman: Assault on Arkham
 Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
 Batman vs. Robin
 Justice League: Gods and Monsters
 Batman: Bad Blood
 Justice League vs. Teen Titans
 Batman: The Killing Joke
 Justice League Dark
 Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
 Batman and Harley Quinn
DC Universe Original Movies: 10th Anniversary Collection hits stores today.

Of course this is all opinions as some people love the new DCU movies and some hate them. The list isn’t in order but I hope it helps. I’ve never seen all of them, but in general:
Batman the Animated Series (a classic for a damn reason, and one of the best reps of Batman. Features Tim Drake and Dick Grayson as well as being the famous beginings of Harley Quinn)
Wonder Woman (an incredible rep of Diana and filmography. Directed by a woman and it shows)
Shazam (haven’t seen it yet but supposed to be good)
Nolan Batman films (very gritty but also classic. My fave is the first but they’re all amazing)
Justice League Animated (some good fun with great characters)
Static Shock (loved it as a kid and need to watch again)
Batman Beyond (brother loves this one. I get annoyed with the main. Takes place in the future with Bruce training a new Batman)
Young Justice (first season is best but the second is so worth it too. Dick Grayson is adorable and Season Two has my baby Tim)
Batman: Year One (great rendition of the Batman beginning)
Batman: Assault on Arkham (so badass and one of my faves)
Batman: Under the Red Hood (classic Jason Todd)
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns 1+2 (the animated version of the famous comics. Incredible. One of my fave Robins, too)
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (also some good fun. Includes Supergirl)
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (multiverse fun)
Justice League: Doom (N52 Justice League in animated form. Enjoy it a lot.)
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (Really well made. Don’t recommend if you’ve read the comic but it’s a great film)
Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam (real fun if you like a good superhero beetdown with plot thrown in)
Justice League: War (bit of N52 fun as well)
Son of Batman (brilliant intro to Damian Wayne and his relationship with Dick Grayson)
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (N52 again - I love all of these films)
Batman vs. Robin (Court of Owls and fatherly bonding with Damian and Bruce)
Batman 1989 (so aesthetic and love the Joker)
Batman Returns (brilliant Catwoman and Penguin. Also the aethetic is off the charts)
Superman 1978 (very fun and perfect Superman. A bit silly but it’s the 70s)
Superman II (not as good but I’d say it’s worth the watch!)
Teen Titans (watch it. Watch it right now. Do it)
Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo (film with the series characters. Love this one. Fun plot)
Superman: Braniac Attacks (it’s a kids film, as most, but I think it’s fun. Very Superman)
The Lego Batman Movie (one of my favourites of all time. I recommend watching after you get to know Batman, because it makes a lot of fun of his characterisation)
Vintage Superman animations like Superman 1948 and 1941 and The New Adventures of Superman (the old animations that would appear before a film in a cinema or between the episodes of something else. Very short and very fun)
Batman: Mysteries of the Batwoman (super fun. Seen it a couple times)
Smallville (if you’re in to retro campy shows then gibe it a go. I had some good fun with it)
All-Star Superman (chill but I remember enjoying it?)
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (a good tribute to the comics)
Justice League vs. Teen Titans (the most recent in the Damian Wayne and N52 movies. Very good like all of them)
Justice League Dark (love watching Batman interact with magic. Never gets old)
Batman 1966 (the original Batman TV Show and I can’t get enough. Campy and sexist in a hilarious way. It gets to be too much after too many episodes but I can’t help going back)
This may seem like a lot but it’s not exhaustive. Really just give some things a god and have fun! The newest are some serious award-winning worth films. Try to watch them in order. And try the new live action films, too! I enjoy them myself. They’re easier to watch if you haven’t read the comics.
Yo people who watch everything in the dc universe.
My friend want to watch the dc universe (mainly batfam) and since I mostly read comics could some of you comment or weblog watch list or something? I would reallyyyyyyyy appreciate it 🥺🥺🥺💞❤💕💞💌

Ranking Every DC Universe Animated Original Movies
After watching Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy I got super into Super Hero movies and watched the two most recent animated DC Comic movies. Due to this, and just having the time to think about animated DC movies I decided to make a ranking of all the recent animated movies released, from Superman Doomsday to Teen Titans Judas Contract. Why you may ask? Well I want to talk about recent DC, but avoid getting sad about the live action movies.
26. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies - Simply way too much mindless action and doesn’t have anything going for it so gets boring. If Michael Bay directed animation. 4/10
25. Superman: Doomsday- Good to see the first of these movies to be so low. However its adaptation is questionable and the movie lacks direction perhaps due to being the first one. 4.5/10
24. Wonder Women- Its kinda the opposite of Public Enemies where not a lot happens and you want the action. Just gets boring after a while.  5/10
23 Killing Joke- Half this movie is a amazing, half of it is not. Its pretty easy to tell which half is which. 5/10
22.  Superman/Batman: Apocalypse- Going in and I expected this to be the worst honestly, but watching it again and I didn’t mind it overall. I think the focus on Supergirl was a bitch much, but it ended up okay I guess 5.5/10
21. Son of Batman- Worst in every way to other Damian Wayne movies, but I give it personal credit as it had to introduce the character of Damian. Damian is a personal favorite of mine, so I give it bonus points.  6/10
20. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights- The good ones start from here on out, this one has impressive visuals and casting, but a weaker story. 6/10
19. Green Lantern: First Flight- Similar to the second, may also come from a personal not caring of the Lanterns this one also has impressive visuals and action scenes but a weaker. Sinestro is great and gains extra points though. 6.5/10
18. Superman Unbound- Probably the simplest movie here, but works well as a simple story. Its good action, and I like Brainiac in this . 6.5/10
17.Gotham Knight- This movie is strange, like it takes place between Nolan movies weird. It works to some extent, but suffers from the concept of it. 6.5/10
16. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis- While being a good origin story for Aquaman, and being a huge step forward in animation at the time Throne of Atlantis does still suffer late on preventing it from being great 6.75/10
15  Batman: Bad Blood- Its a good story and Batgirl works, as Damian gets better in the movies but still doesn’t offer anything great and suffers. 7/10
14. Justice League vs. Teen Titans- As a fan of the original show I enjoyed the group dynamic and the cast really well. The raven plot was pretty predictable though and some characters were annoying, but overall I enjoyed this intro the Teen Titans in theatre. 7.25/10
13. Justice League Gods and Monsters- This movie would be a lot better in my head, if Flashpoint Paradox and Crisis on Two Earths didn’t exist. Hard to look past that 7.25/10
12. Batman vs Robin- Damian Wayne improves here from previous but still has his issues. The adaption works well though and the story goes interesting places especially in its ending. Damian grows great and in future movies becomes much better. So overall this movie grew on me as time passed. 7.5/10
11. Justice League Dark- With a bunch of new characters and being rated R this movie attempted to try new things and did well. Constantine and Zatanna steal the show and overshadow lesser characters and average plot, and later movies could make the duo some of the best characters in the Justice League. 7.5/10
10. All-Star Superman-  Missing an extra half hour or so from being the perfect movie. Luthor at his peak, and Superman at perhaps his finest. 8/10
9. Batman Year One- Like All-Star suffers from a similar problem in the runtime forces stories to not be completed. If either of these movies were given a full runtime needed they would probably be the best easily. 8/10
8.  Superman vs. The Elite- I like this movie I think more than most people, its probably my favorite Superman movie and Superman property. It tells the values of Superman great, and works as a complete story. Also fun British voices. 8.25/10
7. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract- Another movie I seem to like more than most people, but that may be because of my love for the original Teen Titian show. This one captures the show sense of family and a dynamic group great creating something equal to the original show. Terra and Beastboy are the easy standouts, with only Starfire disappointing me. Overall though I liked this a lot, recency bias may also exist. 8.25/10
6. Justice League Doom- A true action thrill ride second only to Crisis on Two Earths in sheer action alone. It uses it time well and truly understands what it means to be a single= justice League Movie.  8.5/10
5. Batman: Assault on Arkham- Its like Suicide Squad but good, it also happened first. Its smart, well written, funny and offers great adaptations of fan favorite characters. Honestly this movie is a big reason I made this list, because it outdid the DC Cinematic Universe so easily 8.75/10 5.Justice League Flashpoint Paradox- As a fan of the Flash this movie feels like the best adaptation of the character in any non comic media easy. The story is tight, and Flash in this universe grows as he experiences this dark and crazy world. Time travel is hard to do, but its great to see it at its finest 8.75/10
4. Justice League: The New Frontier- With great sense of nostalgia and the Kennedy era this movie is simply a satisfying watch. It translates the origins of characters well, while providing a simple but great watch for JL fans. 8.75/10
3. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earth- Great to see such a good adaptation for one of my favorite DC universes. While perhaps not being quality wise one of the better ones it has a soft spot in my heart. 8.75/10
2. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns- A wonderful adaptation of what is considered to be one of the single best comic book story creates one of the best animated movies in the West. Its only issue is that perhaps the target audience struggles hard to understand the use of the Cold War. Still great and must watch. 9/10
1.Batman: Under the Red Hood- Red Hood has always been a personal favorite to mine so seeing him portrayed so well is great. The story is engrossing, the psyche of Batman is put to the test  and the fall of Jason Todd feels real. If The Dark Knight didn’t exist I think it would be my favorite Batman movie easily, and in a world full of Batman that’s saying alot. 9.25/10
