2. Any sleep habits either had to get used to?

Renila: Akila's probably had to get used to Ren's weird sleeping patterns, aka ability to wake up at will in the middle of the night and be functional. See, Akila grew up surrounded by luxury and leisure in Joko's harem, so Ren's work habits that bleed into her everyday life have probably been a bit of a 0-0 to her when they started living together. On Ren's end, she probably had to get used to Akila sleeping in late more than she does, so she had to be extra quiet to not wake her girlfriend up.

Shiverpeaks Rose: Mirka's had to get used to Fiadh glowing at night. She's used to sleeping in darkness like most people, then she starts living with Fiadh who's a glowstick and a constant source of light in a dark room. That's okay, though. She's the wife.

8. What’s one way their personalities compliment one another?

Renila: See, they're both pretty smart women, pretty perceptive. They have to be, to do what they do (Akila's also a spy, but for Order of Shadows. She joins them after Ren rescued her from the harem.) But I feel like Akila's marginally gentler than Ren is, and also more in tune with herself. That stability that Ren's lacked for a long time is what draws her in, I think. Akila hasn't had to switch identities in quite the same way Ren has, after all.

Shiverpeaks Rose: Fiadh reignited some of Mirka's sense of adventure that stopped for the most part when she had Kov. Dating someone so different from you (in culture, certainly, but in race as well) has been something Mirka never really expected to have but she's loving it, actually.

19. How do they deal with being away from each other for a long time?

Renila: They take a chill night in. Have a glass of wine in their living room, talk about what had had happened in their absence, lazily cuddle/make out, etc. Just enjoying each other's company after being away for so long. Just casual, domestic gfs living their best sappy life.

Shiverpeaks Rose: Spend time with Kov, certainly, but when he's in bed, they go to a moot, have some fun, hunt together. Fly around on Hydra Breacher too, for a good measure.

39. What other couple would your otp get along with the best?

Renila: Nyra and Trahearne? That's the vibes, still tentative. Ren and Nyra are friends, though, so why wouldn't they get along w/ each other's partners, as well..?

luffy had to meet zoro and nami first. they’re the fundamental foundation he needed to build a crew - once he has them, the rest must follow. zoro comes first, bc whatever souls are made of his and luffy’s are the same, and luffy needed someone to watch his back. someone who understood him, someone unwaveringly devoted who he doesn’t need to worry about protecting. and of course nami comes next, to cover their blind spots and turn their goals into tangible reality and keep them on course. she’s the pragmatism and the compass they needed to really get going, the other side of luffy’s coin. do you see it yet?? everyone on the crew is just as vitally important to luffy’s success, but zoro and nami were always going to be first. Sometimes i remember a comics moment i randomly came across somewhere, where Sam Wilson mentiones a musical and Steve Rodgers says he doesn't like musicals, to whitch Sam goes "Guess that means you really are straight" and even tho i don't care about Cap America or the Avengers, the moment stuck in me for that quote by Sam. And like....Sci, any ideas if straight men actually don't like musicals or is that bullshit?

actually i think i know more gay men who hate musicals than i know straight men who hate musicals. i've had a drag queen stop me point blank when i was about to sing a barbra streisand song, and i know so many gays who pointedly hate abba. so based on my experience i think the inverse is true. most of the straight men i know are kind of impartial about musicals, but gay men? hate.

my theory is that a lot of gay men don't want to fall into stereotypes, maybe. but thaaaaat's just a theory! a gay theory.

submit through the askbox! all i need is the character's name and the media they are from. attaching a canon image of the character is appreciated, but not required (but please let me know if there ARE no canon images of them). adding "propaganda"/evidence for them being wlw is appreciated, but not required. anonymous asks are off to minimize assholery, but i will answer character submissions privately and won't reveal who sent submissions unless i am asked to @ you in the post.

when i say "canon", what i roughly mean is explicit, word-of-god confirmation and/or no intentional evidence to the contrary. i am fully willing to admit that the matter of "canon" can definitely get shaky, that this definition isn't perfect, and that this is more of a guideline i'm quickly setting for clarity than what reflects the entirety of my beliefs regarding character identity status

you can submit characters who are canonically any gender! it doesn't matter if they're a woman, a man, or even nonbinary in canon. note that plenty of nonbinary people are sapphic/wlw, and i trust that any submission of nonbinary characters is meant in good faith. i will not tolerate actual attempts to misgender or erase nonbinary characters.

THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THE ABOVE is characters who are CANONICALLY transmasculine, and/or nonbinary in a way that CANONICALLY excludes womanhood (nonbinary with specifics just not given is okay, for example kris from deltarune). please don't submit characters who these apply to!

characters who are canonically lesbians or bisexual women shouldn't be submitted as every single poll option but one would become redundant. however, characters who are canonically sapphic/wlw but NOT specified as either lesbian or bisexual are more than welcome!

depending on the canon identity of the character, some options may be removed. for example, a character who is canonically sapphic/wlw will not be given a voting option that says they aren't attracted to women, and a character who is canonically transfeminine will not be given a voting option that says they aren't a woman.

if a character is NOT canonically transfeminine, you can still specify that you are submitting a transfem reading/version of the character, and i will specify this in the poll and treat that particular submission the same way i'd treat a canonically transfem one. this is different from just submitting a canonically male* character without specification, as the latter leaves room for disagreement while the former focuses entirely on the transfem version of the character - "hey, do you guys agree this character could be a wlw trans woman?" VS. "let's say this character IS a trans woman, is she wlw?" (*canonically female but not canonically transfem characters can still be submitted as transfem readings, this is just the more common scenario in my experience)

if i ever unknowingly disregard a character's canon identity in a way that breaks the rules i have set, please let me know! i never intend to do this and i will always verify as best i can, but mistakes happen.

whatever submissions ultimately go through are up to my discretion, and i don't have to justify myself. this shouldn't really be a problem, though. if i find that i don't want submissions of a particular character or series, i will simply write a clarifying post and update this point.

i am not very motivated and i have a lot to deal with and prioritize in general, so my posting schedule may be quite inconsistent. don't worry about that at all, i will always get to it eventually!

3 Person Deal

Jamie Hayter/Britt Baker (also some Britt/Adam) Fluff! (also making out! yay!!) Jamie finds out that Britt is with another.... and she's cool with it?

Private locker rooms were probably Jamie’s favorite part about being a champion. Everyone who held a shiny golden belt got their own private room to settle down in before and after matches, and Jamie loved it. She finally got some time to herself, and she didn’t have to sit around a cramped room with 20 other girls. 

Jamie also loved the private locker room because now she could spend some private time with her lovely, lovely girlfriend. 

She had forgotten what life was like without her pretty little Britt Baker. She loved that woman seriously. Jamie wasn’t complete without Britt by her side, without Britt cheering her on, without Britt being there to soothe her bruises. She loved, loved Britt more than anything, more than her champion title. 

So when Mr. Tony Khan told her she would get her own private locker room, Jamie knew exactly how she would use it. 

By making out with Britt while straddling her lap.

Britt had her hands holding the undersides of Jamie’s thighs, while Jamie had her hands tangled in her girlfriend’s hair. 

“You’re so pretty.” Jamie breathlessly said, as they pulled away for air. “God, you’re so perfect.” 

“Like you aren’t?” Britt responded, a bright and shining smile on her face. 

A deep blush rose on Jamie’s face, but before she could dive in for another makeout session, the door opened. 

The scream and string of curses that escaped out of her were embarrassing. She covered her face and tried to get off Britt, but the dentist held on. You couldn’t blame Jamie’s shocked reaction when the guy who opened the door was Adam Cole. Jamie didn’t know what happened between him and Britt, but she assumed Britt and Adam were no longer together, because, well… Britt was with her. 

“Oh, hey, baby.” Britt smiled, still holding onto Jamie’s thighs. “What’s going on?” 

Why the hell was Britt calling Adam baby, and talking all civil to him, and not freaking out like Jamie? 

Adam smiled at the two women. “I’m gonna assume you forgot the time because…” He tapped the silver watch on his wrist. 

Britt stared at him for a second before gasping. “Oh, no! Baby!” She took her phone out of her pocket to check the time. Jamie was still reeling and the heat from her body would not go down. “Oh, I totally lost track of time. I’m so sorry. We’ll go anywhere you want tonight.” 

“Okay, I’ll uh…” he laughed and Jamie thought she was going to explode. “I’ll leave you to finish up. Love you.” he leaned in and the (SUPPOSED TO BE FORMER) couple shared a sweet kiss. 

“Love you too.” Britt said against his lips before he left the locker room. The door closed with a click. Britt patted her girlfriend’s ass. “Sorry about that.” She laughed. “Totally forgot I was having dinner with him. Should we continue?” 

Jamie just stared at her girlfriend, or at least she thought Britt was her girlfriend. She didn’t really know what was happening right now. 

“What?” Britt asked, confused at Jamie’s hanging jaw and wide eyes. 

“You didn’t tell me you were still with Adam!” She slapped Britt’s arm. Jamie didn’t really know if she was angry or not… was she supposed to? Britt was still with her, but also with Adam? This was weird. 

“Hey!” Britt grabbed her shoulder. “I didn’t? I thought I had.” 

“No! No you did not!” She crossed her arms, frustrated.

“I’m sorry, sweetheart.” Jamie tried not to fall for the pet name. It didn’t work. “I hope that it’s okay that me and Adam are still together.” 

Jamie thought to herself for a second. “I mean… he’s okay with it, right?” 

“Yeah, he’s cool. I mean, I was cool when he got with Hangman so.” Britt shrugged, and it suddenly occurred to Jamie that her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s husband were in an open relationship. 

That made a lot more sense. 

“Okay.” Jamie breathed and Britt smiled softly. “Yeah, I’m cool with this. As long as you still love me.” 

“I love you more than anything.” 

Jamie smiled. “Good… now let’s get back to where we were.”
