Except Japanese schools are usually pretty strict when it comes to dress codes, right down to rules against earrings, so it takes class 1A quite a while to realize that baby-faced Midoriya's casual wear consists mostly of chokers, wrist cuffs, huge combat boots and metal band tees and he has multiple piercings.
