this is gonna be such a nothing rant (haikyuu edition) but i keep seeing these posts on instagram that are obvious rage bait where its like "TALENT OR HARDWORK?" pitting like, a selection of characters against each other and it makes me SO FUCKING MADDDDD

the people who make those DID NOTTTTT WATCH THE FUCKING SHOW BRUH. KITA SHINSUKE DID NOT GIVE HIS MONSTERS SPEECH for you to pretend that EVERY CHARACTER on the show has not WORKED FUCKING HARDDDD.

literally my ONE issue with the show/manga before kita's appearence was this mythos of "natural talent" that permeated the bg of the show's morals/ideology. there was always the idea of "the best teams are the ones who dont give up" which is shown to be true (the best teams, as well, are also the ones who practicec the most), but at the end there would be this thing of, like, "well yeah you can practice all you want, some people will just be better", which is what a lot of people for some reason took away from oikawas character arc (ignoring the fact that this isnt what was meant to be shown but WHATEVER).

THEN WE GET MY FUCKING KING OF ALL KINGS KITA SHINSUKE here to say "yeah actually these people are fucking monsters on the court, but its NOT because they were somehow born that way. its because they WORKED to become that way." and as the audience youre like "yeah but what about oikawa", AND THEN HE PULLS OUT THE "they just WORK different. they THINK different. THAT is what sets them apart from the regular players" and you realise that the reason oikawa "loses" to kageyama isnt because is wasnt good enough, or because he didnt practice enough, but because he had the mindset that kageyama had TALENT, while he had SKILL. he FAILED to see that kageyama ALSO HAD SKILL, and that his abilities as a setter DIDNT come from nowhere.

IT IS THEN LITERALLY IMMEDIATELY PROVEN IN THE SAME MATCH, when we get the flashbacks for atsumu and osamu. ojiro (king) TELLS US, THE AUDIENCE, directly that atsumu literally worked on the skills he has FROM THE GROUND UP. atsumu didnt start as the better player, or even a particularly stand out player, but he had the MENTAL DRIVE TO BE BETTER. HE WORKED HARD. osamu was the "naturally gifted" player, but ultimately fell behind his brother because he didnt want it as much.

until kitas speech, there is this mythos of "hardwork versus natural talent" that permeates the show. kageyama versus hinata initially, then with tsukki and hinata, then with oikawa and kageyama etc etc etc. but with ONE SINGLE SPEECH, the curtain is lifted and the audience is forced to confront that every single character has worked IMMENSLEY HARD to get to the level they are at, its not a matter of natural talent.

he then says my favourite line in the whole show, which is "but if you're thinking theyre geniuses from the start, then youve lost before you've even had a match with them." and, "AND ITS RUDE" <- THAT RIGHT THERE. ITS FUCKING RUDE. CASTING OUT ALL OF SOMEONES HARD WORK AND ASSIGNING IT AS NATURAL TALENT IS FUCKING RUUUUUUDEEEEEEE.

anyway rant over but that is why i hate those fucking posts. there is not one "monster" character in haikyuu that hasnt worked hard. im sick of people saying any different because all it tells me is that they were not paying fucking attention!!!!!!

daichi sawamura; massages. he’s descended from heaven for this purpose only. his hands are rough and like hard on your muscles, but it’s so perfect. he’ll approach you when you’re in school sitting anywhere, from behind, and just knead his hands into your muscles for a few seconds. euphoric. or if you live together, he always greets you with back/shoulder/neck massages in the bathtub hvjkwkd.

nishinoya yuu; always makes you try his food. always. whether it’s with a group of people or just you two, he just goes “hey babe open ur mouth” with this face 😏 bc he’s cheeky, and just shoves a mouthful of food. spoiler alert, it’s always way too hot. but it’s just tradition at this point. he takes a bite of his food, decides if it’s worthy enough for your mouth or not, then just. yeah.

kageyama tobio; buys you a snack whenever he gets his milk. if you’re special special, he’ll buy you your own carton of milk. he goes up to the vending machine and automatically thinks of you when he sees your fave snack, and it’s like mindless at this point he just routinely does it. it still surprises you to this day, even when he’s so nonchalant about it.

tsukishima kei; kisses your forehead. tsukki is not too big on pda, and even privately he’s not very touchy feely either tbh. but just a simple peck on your forehead grounds you, and it’s a small reminder of the fact that despite his outward coldness, he really does love you. he rarely does it in front of others, but sometimes, he’ll indulge both you and him, and settle a small kiss on your temple just randomly.

asahi azumane; anime jesus always has a hair tie/clip carried around for you on his wrist/in his pockets. i mean he’s always needing them, he just stocks up when he starts dating you. somehow he’s always there when you’re frustrated with your hair all over the place what a savior. later on it evolves to him carrying around your scrunchie and yes the boys make fun yes he blushes but no he does not take it off.

tanaka ryunosuke; carries you on his back, or your things, when you’re too tired to walk. whether that be if you’re too tired because of your heels or you’re just lazy, he just loves helping you out what a respectful gentleman. honestly it just becomes that every time he sees you he like barricades over to you so quick and flips you onto his shoulder or spins you around. anyways. walking with tanaka means walking empty handed bc he will never let you carry anything. ( shifts pile of bags on one arm just to hold your hand ).

hinata shoyo; learns hairstyles to try on you. whether it be short hair or long hair, expect his youtube search history to look a lot like “how to make a french braid” or “cute hairstyles for short hair for your cute girlfriend”. he’s always so entranced by you and watches so carefully whenever you do anything on your hair, and he gets do excited whenever you let him try and he gets it right. also !!! a lot of the times you’ll sit between his legs and he’ll just softly card his fingers through your hair or lightly braid it.

yamaguchi tadashi; buys you flowers a lot. he doesn’t overdo it, just so it doesn’t lose its value and worth. but for example, mondays suck ass and he knows how much you hate them, so he always makes sure to either leave a single rose on your desk/in your locker or give it to you himself if he can. it’s so endearing and motivating honestly, and the constant reminder every once in a while is so cute. continues to do it even like 3 years in, which is so fkn sweet honestly.

nekoma ━━

kuroo tetsurō; plans the best dates. seriously. like not one moment spent with him is dull. i don’t think being with kuroo entails a high energy relationship, i just mean that even a walk in the park is fun with him. he also always knows when to plan a fancy dinner and when it’s just something casual. like he always puts in so much effort, gives 120%, for every date with you. is your favorite band/singer/artist in town? he’s got tickets. the weather is amazing? you’re going to the beach. you’re sleep deprived? nap dates. 10/10

kozume kenma; he teaches you how to play his games. the fact that he’s letting you touch the console in itself says enough, but whenever he buys a new one, and learns it thoroughly enough, he will always sit by you and teach you its ways. picture you sitting in his lap while he guides your hands <333 if you’re not a gamer, he’s actually v flattered by the fact you’re willing to sit through this w him. but if you are a gamer, expect daily competitions. oh and if you beat him? you’re dead to him :).

haiba lev; instead of reaching for things that you’re too short for to grab it himself, he just lifts you up lmfao. i mean w the way he teases yaku, i can imagine he’d be v teasing with you as well if you’re even an inch shorter than him. but fret not! it’s all in the name of love. he’s very loving though, and if he sees you struggling he’ll just wordlessly hoist you up from your waist or something. at first it’s terrifying, but later on it just makes you giggle cause he’s like so willing to do it and it’s effortless for him hehe.

yaku morisuke; always makes sure you’re taking care of yourself, but kinda aggressively? lmao anyways. like he’s always “babe have u eaten” and if u say no expect him to start yelling like “what do you mean no??? are you insane???” v dramatic but honestly <333 he’s always texting you after parting ways “did you get home safe” or on weekends where he cant meet you, he’s asking how it was, if you indulged yourself a bit, relaxed. it’s very sweet and he makes sure it’s not overbearing. he just wants his baby to be healthy and happy.

yamamoto taketora; walks on the side with the cars. it’s not a very noticeable thing, but you see it, and you recognize it. he makes sure he’s always walking where cars are speeding by, a hand on the small of your back guiding you away and to the other side of him. it’s the little notions of protectiveness like if he’s driving and stops suddenly, he’ll put a hand out to keep you from lurching forward, he pushes you gently out of the way before you bump into someone. things like that.

aoba johsai ━━

oikawa tōru; he doodles in your notebooks, or on your skin. if you have class with him, and sit next to him, he’ll always be doodling on your notebook like little hearts or stupid, cute things like your initials + his in a heart. or if you’re at a study date together, and you’re focused on your laptop screen, he’ll leave little encouraging messages on your notes for you to notice when you’re revising. sometimes you’ll be sitting with him at lunch or even if you’re out w him and a bunch of other people, and he happens to have a pen. expect a little smiley face on your inner wrist, or a heart plus his initials ( o.t. )

iwaizumi hajime; he helps you take off your make up/takes it off for you. if you’re too sleepy, he’ll just take the products he’s used to seeing you use and start following it step by step after he props you up next to the sink. while he stands between your thighs he just so gently starts rubbing at your skin and washing away the make up. if you’re already asleep, he’ll have to like google the steps oh my god im gonna cry hes so cute. if you don’t necessarily wear make up, then he’ll just help you do your nightly routine, or even your shower routine, like using a body scrub or a face mask or, bruh, even shaving lmfao.

hanamaki takahiro; saves everything you buy/send/make him. i mean everything. has literally over two thousand photos of you, all the polaroids or postcards are saved in a little box he has under his bed. anything you make him (unless it’s edible) he has. if you make him a small embroidery thing he will literally attach it to his sports bag or something. any chain you make him is automatically added to his keychain. that flower crown you made with him on one of your first dates? he still has it. the flowers are dead but the memory loves babyyyy

matsukawa issei; carries extra clothes of his for you to borrow. hey have i mentioned that mattsun is big? 😃 because he is 😃. meaning regardless of your size or height or whatever, his clothes will drown you <3 i see him as preferring more oversized or just loose shirts rather than tight ones, so yk. on you???? if y’all are just hanging out and you even think about being slightly cold — here have five options of mattsun’s clothes to choose from. he always makes sure they smell like him too. it’s self indulgent really, because he loves the way they look on you, and he loves that it leaves a trace of his scent on you. territorial? i think yes.

fukurodani ━━

bokuto kōtarō; always hugs you like it’s the last time he’ll see you. sometimes, even if he doesn’t know it, you need his hugs badly. y’all are gonna try and tell me bokuto doesn’t give the best fkn hugs??? yeah get outta here with that bs. he SO does. he either kneels down and wraps his arms around your waist, picks you up, and spins you around, like he hasn’t seen you in 3 years, or he’ll just wrap his arms around your neck and pull your head to his chest, cradling it, and just sighing like he won’t see you for the next 3 years. his hugs always make you feel so much better, even if you weren’t feeling down to begin with.  

akaashi keiji; plays with your hands and caresses them. it’s the delicate feel and gentleness of it all. akaashi’s generally an anxious person, leaving him very fidgety. but once you two get together, and he starts being comfortable with you, expect to find your hand always between the two of his, just fondling with him. he’ll trace random figurines on the back of your hand, or have his fingers ghost over your wrist and up to your fingertips. if his hands are especially shaky, expect him to just grab one of your yours and hold it tightly between the grasp of two of his. it conveys trust, and all you have to do is kiss his knuckles gently and he’s melting.

konoha akinori; he has your reminders app linked with his, and sneaks in small, motivating messages. every once in a while you’ll get a notification from the app that tells you to drink water or have a snack (or text konoha he’s bored and he misses you). also always sends you pictures to distract you from stress. like it could literally just be a picture of him smiling with a thumbs up and you’d just ,,, melt bc you love him so much.

shiratorizawa ━━

ushijima wakatoshi; he has so many plants that are named after you, or your nicknames, and he’s like so gentle with them too. like strokes their petals and speaks to them so softly, the same way he does with you. you’re honestly so curious how he hasn’t run out of names, but he’s just a genius like that. whenever you go over to his place, and he’s bought a new one, he’ll take your hand and guide you to where it’s growing and just be like “look it’s baby y/n” and you just 🥺🥺🥺

semi eita; he has a playlist on his phone, that’s constantly being updated, for you and him to listen to. the first time he showed it to you, you were stargazing and he took out his phone and headphones and was like “i made a playlist for you wanna list” and every part of your body lit up in flames im not joking. now, a lot of the times, you’re coming back home on a train, and your head is on his shoulder and you’re sharing headphones listening to the playlist. when either one of you is driving you’re blasting it (a lot of the playlist is the hsm soundtrack)

satori tendō; tendo reads people so well, and being in a relationship with him means he will read you so well. so a lot of the times, in social situations, he’ll recognize the signs of you wanting to leave, for example, or if someone’s bothering you, he’ll know exactly how to approach it too. this also entails having a lotta inside jokes hehe, and also just like. talking with your eyes. yk that thing. yeah. all you have to do is look at him a certain way, and he just knows exactly what you just said.

goshiki tsutomu; he buys the both of you this small plushie, and whenever you’re missing each other you just. squish it. and he squishes his. he would rather die than let anyone know this, but you’re not too keen on letting anyone know yourself tbh. it’s just this little thing you have, and it means a lot more to you than just this. when he first bought it he was like “look we have matching plushies” and you passed away on the spot ❤️

shirabu kenjirō; loves trying out new recipes with you. he’s not too big on cooking or baking, but there’s just something about doing it with you that really — hits the spot yk. nowadays, whenever he comes across a new recipe on social media that he thinks you’ll like he just automatically sends it to you like with no words no texts just the post and you’re like “OMG CAN WE DO THIS” and he’s like “why else would i send it. yes we can :)” hvskwkeke

a loud thud made you sit up in bed, you looked over to see that kageyama had fallen off while trying to put some distance between you two. you couldn’t help but laugh at the male’s flustered expression. he had hoped you were already asleep and didn’t hear him fall off, but that clearly wasn't the case. or that you would at least ignore the fact that he had fallen off, for his sake.

“kageyama you know you can get closer, right? i swear i don’t have cooties,” you giggled as he stood up from the floor, clearly embarrassed and grumpy. “oh shut up, i’m gonna sleep on the couch,” kageyama grumbled as he took a pillow from the single bed in the hotel room and headed to the very small and uncomfortable looking couch. you shook your head as you watched him, “oh come on, just sleep on the bed with me. that couch is too small for you.”

he just shook his head at you, it’s not that he didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as you, it’s just that he didn't like how his heart pounded. it felt like he was dying, and not in a good way. there was clearly no way he could sleep if he stayed there. you pouted as he still refused your request, part of you hoped that he would sleep beside you that night. you couldn't help but wonder if he was a sleep cuddler. you slid off of the bed and marched over to him, determined to make him sleep on the bed instead. you grabbed his hand and tried to pull him off the couch, but you weren't strong enough to budge him, “(y/n) please, it’s just easier like this.” “i know! but i’ll feel bad for making you sleep there. and you won’t have a blanket!” you mustered the best puppy eyes you could and batted your eyelashes at him. for a moment, kageyama considered it, your puppy eyes were really convincing but he knew it would be easier if he didn't.

kageyama pulled his arm away and went back to lying awkwardly on the couch, “i’m fine like this, besides it’s just for one night.” you watched him for a moment then sighed in defeat, “alright alright, goodnight kageyama.” “night (y/n).” you laid back down on the bed and faced away from the couch, trying to fall asleep quickly. kageyama on the other hand was having a hard time, his legs hung over the arm seat and the couch itself had practically no cushioning at all.

he tried every sleeping position he could think of, but it wasn’t working, it was impossible to get nicely situated. he knew he should’ve just listened to you and slept on the bed instead. kageyama finally got up from the couch, after having an inner debate for way too long, and headed over to the bed. he carefully lifted up the covers and slipped in beside you, assuming you were asleep since you didn't react to the bed dipping. he was now able to get comfortable now that he was on a mattress, but his heart was starting to pick up as well. he still couldn’t believe that you and he were staying in the same room together, and even the same bed! what were the chances of this happening?

kageyama's mind continued to race about how crazy and stupid this all felt to him, and only came to a pause when he felt the weight shift on the bed. you turned over, now facing him, and snuggled into his chest unconsciously. kageyama wasn't one to blush, at least easily, but his face lit up bright pink as you cuddled him. he swore he simultaneously hated and liked you too much, he wasn’t sure how much his heart could take anymore. poor kageyama, there was no way he was going to get any sleep tonight.

Bruh, Kageyama wouldn't even know what a girl is if it was not for his sister. He does not even show any interest in girls unlike Hinata. And Why can't Kenma like a girl and Kuroo be heartbroken ? Why can't Yamaguchi's crush on Yachi make Tsukkishima jealous?

Heather is the anthem of the people whose crush loves another person. Most of those people are straight girls. A straight girl does not like girls but a straight boy does. So, are you trying to say that "bottom" = girl and "top" = boy ? So you're back at the forcing hetero roles in gay relationships.

You were dying. You knew it. Your husband, Kei, knew it. Even friends you haven’t spoken too since high school knew it.

So why did you all pretend that everything was okay?

5 year old Y/N:

You were running around your neighbourhood park chasing after butterflies, without a care in the world. As you were frollicing in the grass, you manage to trip over a rock tumbling to the ground scraping your knee making it bleed. Looking down at your slightly injured knee, your lip begins to quiver which eventually leads to wails of tears streaming down your face.

“you don’t have to cry you know?” said a slightly quiet voice towering over you. Above you was a boy, quite tall with a fat pair of glasses, golden eyes and a head full of blonde locks.

“Well when I get hurt, I cry” you say matter oh factly (is that the phrase?) rubbing your nose as you sniffle. He held out a hand to you, which you immediately took shooting upwards and brushing yourself off.  

The boy, after looking at you wildly, turns around and walks back to the actual park. “Oi wait,” you call at the boy swiftly following him “aren’t you going to ask my name?”

“no.” he says simply, proceeding to walk ahead.

“well my names Y/N L/N pleasure to meet you,” you say jumping in front of him so he doesn’t move, waiting for him to tell you his name...which he doesn’t. “you don’t have to be so rude you know”  

“I’m not being rude” he says stiffly “ it’s just my brother says not to speak to strangers” a smirk appears on his face to say ‘you can leave me alone now.’  

As if on cue, his brother approaches the both of you given the boy a slap on the back making him cringe “Hey Kei, who’s the friend you’ve made here?”  

“My name is Y/N L/N and I'm here to be KEI’s best friend!” you said putting the emphasis on the word Kei after just learning that was the blondes name.  

Kei rolled his eyes and sighed saying “nii-chan can we go home now” he folded his arms in annoyance.

“No Kei, you’ve got to get to know your new found friend Y/N-Chan right?” his brother said teasingly, knowing it was the last thing Kei wanted to do.

“Yes ofcourse!” you say with a toothy grin, dragging Kei along with you to his demise.

Until the sun went down, you spent the rest of your time with Kei getting to know eachother (well him getting to know you more, since you did all the speaking.) Regardless of his previous annoyance in getting to know you in the first place, Kei would be lying if he said he didn’t want to know you now.

As the sun was setting, Kei’s older brother (who’s name you learned was Akiteru) called him to tell him he had to go home because dinner was ready. Before he left, you grabbed his hand and wrapped your pinky finger around his saying “As long as we shall live, we will always look out for eachother as we are forever bestfriends, agreed?”

back to present -  

In some odd way, this was Kei’s way of looking out for you. He knew what you had was uncurable and would weaken you even more as the days go by, so pretending like nothing was wrong seemed to be best in his eyes.  

Everything you and Kei did was a game or some nostalgic act that you once did when you were children. It was sweet to say the least, seeing Kei all engrossed and determined to make you happy.  

Your alarm rings snapping you out of you daydream, ‘it was time for medicine’ you thought with your face scowling at the thought. Immediately on time, as always, Kei comes In the room with all your medicine thats needed.

“Aren’t you my perfect little nurse Kei” you say teasingly giving him a wink, laughing as you see his face turn red.

“Do you have to do this every time y/n?” he asks rolling his eyes at your childish behaviour.

“Oh I'm just showing love to my best and favourite nurse” you continue laughing at your own words

“Im your only ‘nurse’” he deadpans giving you your medicine as you talk.

“Well that is more reason to make you the best nurse.” you say smiling.

Silence falls between you, and you stare down at your arm watching as your husband gives you the medicine making you frown. “Do we have to keep doing this?” you ask which is probably the 1000th time you’ve asked.

“Of course we do Y/N as I’ve said yesterday and the day before that and the day before that it-”

Sometimes you and Kei have these conversations. And all the time it ends the same way. You complain, he ignores and then you go and have dinner.

You can understand why he doesn’t want to have this conversation. Who would want to hear about their partners complaints about practically being alive. Kei was torn, ever since he met you all he wanted to was to keep you happy. But could he compromise his own happiness for it.

15 year old Y/N - flashback

“Kei Kei, aren’t you excited!” you yell smiling widley

“Excited for what?” he asks, amused by your enthusiasm “it’s just highschool.”

“Well it’s a new highschool! Karasuno high school, to be exact.”

“And that is still just a school.” he says

“Not just any! That’s the school nii-chan went too, and even tho he lie-”

“Let’s not talk about it Y/N” he murmurs “we should go now, don’t want to be late on our first date.”

Going to Karasuno was fun, at the start everyone was pleasant and nice. But after a week or two when you and Kei were still stuck to eachother like glue, people weren’t so pleasant. Kei was like a pop idol, being gorgeous and over 6ft at just the age of 15, caused alot of attention, especially when he was always around you.

At the start, the hate you got was bearable, it was the petty bitchy notes in your locker or just people blatanly talking badly about you infront of you. People didn’t do it when you weren’t around Kei, so when he had volleyball practice (which you were so excited that he joined the team) you were a big target for the bullies to come around.

Kei didn’t really know of the bullying that happened towards you, especially since he was mainly in practice or not around when it happened. But one day in practice he heard some of his teammates, kageyama and hinata who seemed to talking about a student in one of their classes that was always getting picked on by the other girls in the year.

“Yeah and I heard that Nana-san was planning on getting her and her friends to attack Y/N-san soon.”  said Hinata

“Shrimpy, who are they planning on attacking?” Kei asks to make sure he just heard the ginger correctly.

“Oh this lovely person in our class their name is Y/N-san” he says, looking at Kei’s reaction he also asks “Why? Do you know them?”  

Kei doesn’t respond, and immediately leaves the gym, ignoring Hinata’s and the other members of the teams yells of ‘Where are you going tsukishima.’ He didn’t care, he just had to get to you.  

He searched all the classes, asking every student if he knew where you were. Someone directs him to the toilets, where he burst through the door to see the other girls in your year surrounding you and beating you up.  

“What the fuck are you doing to them?” he yells startling the girls.

“T-T-Tsukishima-san" one girl says “It’s not what it looks like.”

“Oh fuck off” he says, with them still frozen in shock “I said go!”  

“And don’t think I don’t know your names either” he calls after them.

He rushes towards your bruised body on the ground and cradles you gently, confused on what to really do. “Oi Kei,” you say weakly catching his attention “I would’ve won if you didn’t come to stop the fight.” you joke making him scoff.

“Whatever you say Y/N.”

After you heal up, Kei already told on the girls that beat you up getting them suspended, and you explain how they were treating you because of their infatuation of him. And how they only did it when he wasn’t around.

Once he learns this information, he decides to quite the volleyball team, to your surprise. But you demands on making him not quit were ignored, as he excused it by saying “I have to make sure you’re always alright remember, and if that means quitting some volleyball team then so be it.”

That was one out of the many times that Kei put his happiness before yours.

Flashback over.

When you first got diagnosed, Kei was immediately researching on it as it was a very rare condition. But sadly, he only found what the doctor already told you both. It was uncurable and your immune system and your body will weaken as the days go by.

Which it did, you were a shell of your past self. It was always shocking for Kei to see, especially with you only being 25. ‘It wasn’t supposed to be this way,’ but he never let you see his sadness.

Whenever you knew Kei was sad you always reminded him “Kei, I may be dying but please don’t cry over me” every time you said, there was a slight undertone of humour in your voice which always worked in boosting Kei’s spirit.

AN: IVE GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE I HATE THIS SOOO IM SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR THE SHITTING RUSHED ENDING IM GOING TO PROVIDE FOR YOU LOL.

The days passed and the years went by, and you and Kei were still alive and kicking it. Doing your daily routine of you making some joke, Kei giving you your medicine and then you eating dinner. You eventually stopped complaining, realizing and remembering your promise you gave to Kei at 5 years old in that park. “As long as we shall live, we will always look out for eachother as we are forever bestfriends, agreed?”

Of course you had your rough days, everybody did and it was even harder being sick with a terminal illness. But having Kei to guide you through the storm made It better for you.

However, Kei isnt a miracle worker. He couldn’t save you, noone could. And you both knew that. That didn’t mean it made it any easier when the medicine stopped working and your pain got too hard to bear. Kei couldn’t watch you do this anymore, “the choice is yours” he said with tears in his eyes.  

So you knew what you had to do, you got in your bed pulling Kei with you, and letting him envelope you in a big hug as you both cried.

“I love you,” you say “You know that right?”

“Of course I know that, idiot” he replies “And I love you.”

“Always and forever?”

“Always and forever.”

Tanaka and Noya have a spotify playlist that serves the sole purpose of being blasted before practise to get them hyped up and it drives Daichi insane. It most definitely includes Big Time Rush on it. 

Sugawara loves going for early morning walks to watch the sunrise and it makes me so soft omg.

Daichi likes his coffee black, I’m talking bitter as hell.

Kageyama once as a kid tried to bite into a banana without peeling it and is now traumatised bc his whole family laughed at him, kinda has a grudge against bananas now.

Noya drinks too much Monster energy like dear god his kidneys are going to cry.

Hinata sits in the bathtub and sticks his feet out in front of him and watches as his toes curl and uncurl, amused much like a toddler would be lmao. He does this when he is thinking intensely too, like you cant see it but his toes are definitely furling and unfurling when he is contemplating something.

When Kuroo is having a bad day he’s the type to joke about it and laugh it off, remaining strong for the team but then goes home and sits in a dark room crying and listening to Frank Ocean. He also frequently has nightmares and if he has a partner he will wrap  his arms around them during the middle of the night for some security. Fuck the bad boy Kuroo trope he is such a secret softie.

Kenma has the cutest yawn, like everyone always goes so soft when they hear this bby cat boy let one out. It’s the equivalent of laying your head on a feathery pillow, it makes you so sleepy. It’s contagious. 

When Oikawa has a partner he always calls them after practise to whine dramatically about how his body aches, obviously expecting them to baby him. He’s a slut for shoulder rubs.

Tendou ironically joked about having a foot fetish for so long as a meme, but then actually sucked some toes for a joke and was like “ayo why my pp hard bruh” From that point on he realised it is most definitely not a joke. When memes transcend irony and become a reality.

Tsukishima has a long skinny dick that dangles like a fucking pendulum when he hops outta the shower. I don’t make the rules bruh. Yamaguchi is aware of this and sometimes says “Ahaaa it’s ya boy UhhhHHH--- skinny penis” when he walks into the room and Tsukki HATES him for it. 

Asahi owns a very cute scarf collection that screams coffee shop hipster, homie got style.

Kiyoko has incredible taste in music, a lot of soft beats with catchy melodies.

Yachi frequently questions her sexuality, and has most definitely taken one of those “what’s your sexuality?” quizzes on Uquiz mid-crisis lmaoo. 

Iwaizumi loves varsity jackets and looks incredible in them, he rocks the 90′s American high school style.

Temperature doesn’t affect Kageyama as much as the average person, though he greatly prefers cold weather to hot, his teammates question how he can run in like -5 temperatures in shorts, literal monster.

Daishou’s first time with Mika included him slipping over a pair of discarded socks on the way to the bed and Mika had to stifle a laugh in order to not fully kill the mood, she still brings it up offhandedly to this day and it kills him inside a little more each time.

Ushijima goes to bed at like 8-9pm and Tendou makes fun of him for it frequently.

Tanaka and Noya giggle at any mention of the numbers 69 and 420. The teacher once mentioned 69 in an equation and they started snickering like kids in the back of class. They often quote old vines and high-five anyone who understands the references.

Kageyama refuses to nut several days before a match as he is convinced it drains his stamina and boosts his concentration. The other teammates thought it was bizarre when they found out.

KARASUNO CAMPING TRIP

- Kageyama and Hinata have to share a tent together because nobody else wants to share with them. Kageyama’s tent actually turned out to have a huge rip on the side and Hinata only has a tent that can barely fit three people. They argue all night because Hinata takes up the whole space despite Kageyama being much taller. The rest of the team just hears yelling from that one, single, lonely tent.

- Nishinoya and Tanaka build a tent together. They struggle, but manage to put up a shitty, unstable tent. Tsukishima tells them it’s not going to hold up but they’re very confident about it. They both giggle at night, but when they’re about to go to sleep, the tent collapses and they’re both screaming and making other weird sounds. Tsukishima turns to the other side in his tent and pretends he heard nothing.

- Tanaka brought too many pairs of underwear “just in case”.

- Since Tanaka and Nishinoya couldn’t put their tent back up in the dark and nobody wanted to help them, they have to squeeze in with Kageyama and Hinata. Tsukishima has a huge, stable tent but he denied them because last time Nishinoya was stroking his leg with his toes in his sleep. He hates feet.

- It’s such a tight squeeze Kageyama is considering sleeping outside. Everyone is annoying him.

- Yamaguchi shares a tent with Tsukishima. He was wondering if he should bring his own but Tsuki offered him to stay in his.

- Sawamura, Shimizu, Sugawara, Tsukishima, Ennoshita and Azumane are the only ones who remembered to bring flashlights.

- Sawamura burns all his food so Suga does it for him and tells him he did well anyways.

- Sugawara brought a first aid kit. Nishinoya has a dinosaur plaster on his knee. 

- Tanaka’s phone dies because he thought it was a good idea to use his phone as a flashlight, since he didn’t bring one and he played 8 Ball Pool all the way there.

- Sawamura, Shimizu, Azumane and Ennoshita are experts. They brought everything they need and know exactly how to deal with most situations.

- Tsukishima sighs rEALLY loud whenever Tanaka is dramatic about a bug. A mosquito flew into the most chaotic tent containing Noya, Tanaka, Kageyama and Hinata. Tanaka screamed, Hinata was confused, Noya was like wth and Kageyma told them to shut up.

- Azumane sleeps through everything because nature relaxes him. He wanted a tent on his own. He’s straight up vibing.

- Hinata and Nishinoya spend a long time discussing who’s blood was on Kageyama’s hand after he slapped and killed the mosquito. Meanwhile Tanaka is humming a song for the dead mosquito. Kageyama is going insane.

- Somehow Hinata got his bag stuck on a branch of a tree. Tanaka and Ennoshita end up having their bags stuck too because they thought throwing their own bags would make Hinata’s one fall down.

- Sugawara keeps tripping over the protruding tree roots from the ground.

- Sawamura gives out to the first years and seconds years throughout the day.

- Tsukishima wakes up with Hinata, Tanaka and Nishinoya in his tent because Kageyama kicked them out. Noya’s feet are in his face and he gags.

- Sugawara is trying to do fun activities but everyone is either complaining or failing really bad to the point where he gives up. Yamaguchi is the only one that was genuinely playing along.

- Suga almost loses Hinata on a nature walk and he’s freaking out.

- Azumane brought a hammock and no one knows how he put it up.

- Yamaguchi gets a lot of mosquito bites all around his ankles and he was spraying himself with mosquito repellent sprays all day.

10 reasons to love | Tomura Shigaraki

A/n: I don’t really know why I was so aggressive in this lol i’m sorry. It’s just I get heated about him because people make stupid points against him.  Also some manga spoilers please do not read if you are not caught up. 

Reason 1: He cares!! Bruh I hate how everyone calls him a toddler. Throwing a tantrum doesn’t make you a child. My mans tomura shigaraki protected Toga and genuinely cares about the LOV members. The reason he throws tantrums is because he regreses which is a medical thing he cant control tf. The reason he gets so upset is because he needs to have control over something because he doesn’t have control over his quirk. It’s a mental thing. 

Reason 2: He’s smart. Tomura Shigaraki or Tenko Shimura is quite intelligent. His plans are great plans. Yes they get thwarted most of the time but that is due to either lack of information or his opponents having overwhelming power. He infiltrated U.A one of the safest school ever before the LOV came busting in. Literally if Iida’s ass (I don’t know why I came so hard for iida here I love him) didn’t escape all the Heros would be dead. All might would have been dead since the first season. Also my mans had a tactical retreat. smart. 

Reason 3: He has ambition. This man created a whole league recruited a whole team to fulfill his ambition. That is amazing and not something a lot of people can do. People tend to have ambition but the drive is just not there. Shigaraki don’t care who he has to use to accomplice his goal he will do it. 

Reason 4: His quirk is amazing but also very deadly. if someone actually helped shigaraki to control his quirk maybe he wouldn’t be so scared of it. Yes some people may say he isn’t scared of his quirk but yes he is. he won’t even tough himself with all five fingers and he isolates himself from others because he doesn’t want anyone to touch him or to accidently decay someone important to his cause. Shigaraki’s quirk is amazing decay. Think of infiltration missions perfect. Or if he was kidnapped tied up not a fucking problem decay. A great power for offense and defense. 

Reason 5: Also like Dabi he’s a villain. his life will literally revolve around you. He will decay the entirety of the world to get you back. Dating the villain isn’t bad nobody would dare to steal you and if they do they have a death wish. Period. Shigaraki don’t play. mans is possessive. if it’s his it’s his he don’t share. Everybody has this notion like dating a hero is all that your ass about to be kidnapped like it’s no tomorrow where as dating the villain you safe in your house doing whatever the fuck you want carefree.  

Reason 6: Some people just like to brush past the fact that Tomura is canonically known to be kind and compassionate. Like he still is it just that he’s a Tsundere like bakugou. he protected toga even though he says that he finds her annoying. He calls toga and twice his cornerstones. You don’t put honorifics on things that are not important to you in some sense. also when all for one was captured Tomura was upset. When he dusted his parents he was sad asf fam. We just going to forget about that too. 

Reason 7: He’s hot asf. I take no criticism on this. his red eye with the pale blue or white hair is beautiful. I don’t want to hear anything about his chapped lips. If that is the basis of your argument you have no right to speak on this subject. He has the same creep ass smile as Kageyama Tobio from Haikyuu and yall still like Kageyama so I don’t want to hear it. My man probably has eczema I’ll lather him in cream cracked skin gone.  Even if it doesn’t matter aesthetically he is pretty. His color palette is Immaculate. Period. 

Reason 8: My favorite thing looking at their potential as heros. Shigaraki would be great as a rescue hero. It’s perfect for infiltration and rescue. like you can’t get into a enemies facility call up shiggy. Decay baby. Also I know All mights ass would have been invested in his training and helping him to be the best hero because of his personal connection with him. 

Reason 9: Another family man. He literally would love his family so much if they weren’t dead. How would you feel if you just decayed your whole family dude give the man some room to breath. But he loved his family hence why he still has there hands attached to him because he still cares for them. This is a quality him that is always overlooked this man loved his family and is still guilty ridded. Poor bby. 

Reason 10: Now Tomura Shigaraki is amazing in every sense of the word. He’s a character who is a character foil to Izuku midoriya and he is a great one. He is the antithesis of his own development and if it wasn’t for plot armour he would be just as strong as all might and even more dangerous than all for one himself. But tomura shigaraki is a great villain he’s normally foiled by plot armour or overwhelming hero force. Let’s not forget that heros need to fight in packs against him. Not one person can measure up to his brutal strength and when he gains all for one it only amplifies his already deadly quirk. hopeful Izuku can save him.
