i think jaehaerys the conciliator is funny as an epithet bc i feel like irl epithets are like “the red” and it means he has red hair or “the black” and it means he had black hair, or the great, the magnificent, etc, just hyping themselves up, sometimes u get some bullying in the name (shoutout maegor) like the terrible, the peculiar, the mad, sometimes they get fancy with it, metaphorical, but it’s all simple words. even in universe. the good. the daring. the young. the unlikely. then this bitch comes in with CONCILIATOR overcompensating, and wonders why everyone just started calling him “old” after a while.
