No one is 100% good or bad. We're a unique mix of both. And beneath us all, a beast lurks within, bearing our darkest and most taboo desires. You can never fully tame it—only at a limit. And those who do tame it tend to repress those primal urges. And the more they deny it—the more its claws scratch through the surface of their flesh through projections. The best way to manage that beast is to integrate it with your master. A balance of both is highly recommendable. Use the beast to assert yourself in situations where people talk you down to avoid being a doormat and the master when you need to stay calm in circumstances that expect reactions from you. That way, the beast and master in you can work hand in hand to make you whole. After all, there is no light without darkness.

Sacred Lake. Flight from the bottom to the surface of the Sacred Lake. The radiance of water ... This is my very early work from when I was a student. This picture has a difficult fate and some damage from time to time. This is one of the pictures from my past, when inspiration came to me with sunlight that suddenly burst into my room, driving even the most impenetrable darkness away from me. In the shadows of power, faces tell stories untold. Each side reveals a conflict within—one part light, one part darkness, yet inseparable. Embracing My Dual Nature

There’s a delicate balance within me, a duality that shapes my existence and colors my world. On one side, there’s the light and bright part of me, shimmering with an ethereal glow. This side is captivated by anything that sparkles, finds joy in the simplest of things, and spreads love wherever it goes. My laughter is like the tinkling of bells, infectious and uplifting. I thrive in the sunlight, surrounded by flowers in full bloom, and my presence feels like a warm embrace on a chilly day.

This side revels in the beauty of the world. I dance in the rain, make wishes on dandelion puffs, and believe in the magic of everyday moments. My optimism is boundless, and I see the potential for good in everyone I meet. This part of me wears its heart on its sleeve, unafraid to express love and joy openly.

But within the same heart resides another side, one draped in shadows and mystery. This darker, moodier aspect is introspective and contemplative, often lost in thought. Solace is found in the night, under the watchful gaze of the moon and stars. My beauty is more subdued, like the elegance of a raven’s feather or the allure of a midnight forest.

(Note: As an artist I have been dabbling with AI to become more informed. A friend of mine shared a similar image and I decided to see what I could throw together. What you see is a combination of #DallE, #Motionleap and #AdobeExpress.

I am not sure if someone who uses prompts and AI tools can be considered an artist in the traditional sense. But prompting does take a certain amount of time, skill, and education for some of the more advanced pieces I've seen.

The jury is still out, for me. What do you think? Should AI artists be called something other than 'artist'? Prompt Engineer maybe? Or is AI just another medium and tool for artistic expression?)

Honouring it all Your experience cannot be broken down into good or bad. Because there is no bad that isn’t also somehow for your ultimate good. Life is duality. The contrast is what helps us understand and differentiate between things. We understand and value light because we know darkness. Joy is sweeter because we’ve experienced sadness. Play is important because we spend so much of our energy on work. Beauty is essential because it is a direct contrast to death and decay. It sounds dramatic, sure, but the dualistic nature of human existence is what adds colour to our lives. Trust when I say that if things were actually as perfect as we constantly wish they were that we’d not only be bored AF but we’d be out here creating drama just for something to do… Humans are weird like that! So can you truly honour it all? Can you hold space for the ENTIRETY of your being and your experience? It boils down to two things: 1️⃣ CHOOSING to believe that everything is happening for your good + for the good of all involved and 2️⃣ Honouring whatever is present in your life Where are you maybe denying WHAT IS in the hopes of WHAT COULD BE?
