Hi, I was scrolling down the pro life posts on your blog and saw a comment mention in passing that when the mothers life is at risk there are things other than abortion one can do to save to save the mothers life, can you expand upon that? for that is the one thing that terrifies me about pregnancy.

Hi! The specifics depend on the medical problem, but generally, if I remember correctly (this is something I've started to research only recently so I highly recommend asking someone more knowledgeable than me, like @thepro-lifemovement ) early delivery is what doctors do for a high risk pregnancy. Take preeclampsia as an example. Preeclampsia usually develops after the 20th week of pregnancy, and women with it are monitored closely and sometimes given a medication that helps the mom's blood pressure and the baby's lungs grow quicker. Women with preeclampsia usually have an early delivery (how early depends on the severity), and the condition goes away after birth. With these treatments in place, abortion isn't necessary. In this situation, the baby has to come out. There's no reason it has to be killed before it comes out, ya know? Pregnancy can be horribly scary, but competent doctors who value the lives of both of their patients can do wonderful things and get you through the scariest parts

The researchers gave the participating women capsules containing powdered versions of the two foods. Thirty-five women consumed the equivalent of one medium carrot, and 34 women consumed the equivalent of 100 grams of chopped kale. The remaining 30 women didn't consume either.

Twenty minutes later, ultrasound scans showed that most of the fetuses exposed to the kale flavor seemed to grimace, while most exposed to the carrot appeared to be laughing. The control group, meanwhile, didn't have the same responses.

Pro-choicers seem to have clouded thinking on what abortion is. They understand it as “ending a pregnancy.” But they don’t understand how it ends a pregnancy. The only way a pregnancy ends is either birth of the child or death of the child.

Reminder, miscarriages are not the same as abortions. It is not murder. The unborn baby (fetus) dies on their own. No one is intentionally killing them. Miscarriages will never be seen as murder.

i forgot to make a post for like 4 days and I dont have much to say for most of what I listened to. ON Trax Vol. 5 got B tier and Jackal Queenston - Infamy, CALIFORNIaN DRAgon DICKS (Truxton Remix) and Klippa - Mulch got C tier. I did listen to one thing that I actually still remember my thoughts on, though...

Klippa - Hard Membrane

At first, I thought that the bottom tier was only going to be for 3 albums - Figurehead, The Revenge of Doctor Q, and What You Do. I really, really, REALLY don't like those 3, and I didn't think that anything would deserve to be in the same tier as them because I'm kinda an irrational hater about them. Listening to this album made me realize that actually, I dont need to be an irrational hater about an album for it to be F tier worthy

This album SUCKS oh my lord. 19 songs and only one of them is good (Lifemover Arms). 19 songs and only one of them is ANYTHING other than the same boring, downtempo wubwubwubwubwub pre-brostep dubstep. em says this is one of the worst things theyve ever made and they're right, I can't fathom liking this album if I'm being honest. More power to ya if you do but like. WOW. boring ass album jesus. I'm so glad Arcadepunk and So exist cuz it would've been criminal for Klippa to have stayed this ass forever

I moved The Precursor down to F tier cuz its on a similar level as Hard Membrane to me (sorry lmao). I also moved The Queenstons - The Grand Cross up to B tier after relistening to it and going damn, theres a lot of pretty neat music in here actually

Yes Black lives do matter, including the lives of Black mothers who should have total autonomy over their bodies.
