URGENT ACTION ITEM FOR AMERICANS

The Trump Administration has passed an unconstitutional and illegal executive order, unilaterally denying citizenship to people born in the United States with i) a mother who is unlawfully present or lawfully present in the United States on a temporary basis, and (ii) a father who was neither a citizen nor a lawful permanent resident.

This is unconstitutional and illegal, being contrary to the 14th Amendment to the Constitution and Section 301 of 8 U.S.C. § 1401, which contain no such restrictions.

Moreover the order instructs governmental agencies to deny proof of citizenship to people in these classes born thirty days from January 20, 2025.

22 states have filed suit against this order. Congress has the ability to nullify executive orders, so we don't have to wait for the courts.

Email your representative and senators urging them to pass legislation to nullify this order. I wrote some templates under the cut. Fill in your state in the parts in brackets and email it.

Bonus points for those not living in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA, or WI: Email your Attorney General and ask them to join your state to the lawsuit (template below).

The stripping of citizenship from groups of people entitled to it is a direct threat to the people of the United States and must be opposed quickly and vigorously. If this order succeeds, there is nothing stopping this administration from unilaterally doing it again. If you ever thought about writing your representatives, now is the time.

I strongly urge you to immediately introduce legislation to nullify President Trump’s executive order entitled “Protecting The Meaning And Value Of American Citizenship,” issued January 20, 2025. This illegal and unconstitutional order attempts to unilaterally narrow the 14th Amendment of the Constitution to exclude persons with i) a mother who is unlawfully present or lawfully present in the United States on a temporary basis, and (ii) a father who was neither a citizen nor a lawful permanent resident, contrary to the Constitution and Section 301 of 8 U.S.C. § 1401, which contain no such restrictions. This order will cause immediate and irreparable harm to thousands of people who would otherwise be citizens of the United States of America, denying them countless rights of their birth. Therefore, I urge you to introduce and pass this legislation as soon as possible to protect Americans across the country and the Constitution of the United States.

Would it be wrong of me to ask for prayers for my grandpa to not want to go with me to the hospital for my surgery? I love him so much but I do NOT want him there, I just wanna go with my mom and get it over with. I can't deal with him on top of getting my belly cut open and a part of me removed and possibly thrown away. My mom already told him no but he's insisting and I just don't want to fight about it

Hi, could I post a prayer request?

This is a very tough topic for me to discuss but I’ve been struggling with same sex attraction and it’s been getting worse, especially regarding one woman. I don’t know what to do and I feel like it’s alienating me from my relationship with God. I want to vow to a single life but my thoughts and urges are telling me to act upon them. On top of that I’m already an “unconventional woman” who likes boys clothes due to comfort and prefers ideally to stay single. I don’t feel centered and I prayed so much about this.

Hey, why the Catholic Church is being slandered again by people from the outside who knows nothing about the church? There’s even an AI video talking about church and saying the claims about icons, the rosary, Mary and such 🙄

It's just what they do, and they'll continue to until they turn away from evil and accept God and His Church. It's annoying but there's not much we can do other than praying for them and/or showing them how they're wrong in a kind and merciful way
