I’m not 100% happy with this piece. But I used a new hair brush I learned from a tutorial online that I really like. And I also experimented more with shadows. Going to redraw her though because her eyes are wonky :( and it’s throwing me off.

Anyways, she’s a character from a story I want to write (she’s a mermaid).

@jaynethejackalope I already explained in this reblog and in addition to it, being pro life isn't about making as many children as possible regardless of method, it's about valuing and respecting human beings. IVF paints itself as being pro life but creating then throwing away people like trash is incredibly disrespectful and ignores the inherent value that every human being has from the moment of conception

Need prayers for four day old baby C, who was born addicted to amphetamines. It's up in the air if a friend will be asked to foster him, so also asking for prayers that baby C is placed in the absolute best home for him (have to keep this anonymous since it's a foster situation)

It was pretty difficult to get into at first, but I did some research and there’s actually some free collage lectures that help delve into the nuances of the poem I would have certainly overlooked just trying to interpret it all on my own. Hillsdale Collage has this free video lecture course on Paradise Lost if you or anyone who follows your blog is interested; basically just need an email and you can make a free account that will let you have access to all their study material.
