‘LOST’ (@bornlosersrecords) is the latest LP from @lifeinvacuum & it finds the Toronto-based unit spreading their bastardized version modern AlternativeRawk across an even 10 tracks that range from manic guitar-driven anthems, seedy pub_rawking meets post_hardcoring odes to blood pumping bouts of post_post_punking melancholia as evidenced on the lacerating “The Office”

‘DOPAMINE LOOP’ (@theefuneralparty) is the latest EP from @lvsterband & it finds the Los Angeles-based outfit eyeing those halcyon warehouse days of yore by maintaining the hallmarks of a bygone area while modifying/updating said formula for the modern set by mashing up a deliciously dreamy cocktail of buzzy Electronica, shimmered shoegaze & pulsating post_punk as heard on “Thorn In Yr Kiss”

‘BROTHERS IN CHRIST’ (@tgic_recs @reptilianrecords) is the no_duh coming together of two heavy hitters… the “real big rock band” @nerverkc & the triumphantly buzz_binning @chatpileband… the culmination of this merger being 4 tracks that absolutely fuck… as the respective KC/OKC units lay waste to all that stands before them w/ a sludgy barrage of guitar-driven madness as evidenced on the Nerver penned opener “Kick in the Sky”

‘HARVEST’ (@relapserecords) is the latest album from @poisonruin & it finds the Philly-based quartet of vocalist Mac Kennedy, drummer Allen Chapman, guitarist Nao Demand & bassist Will McAndrew unleashing their downtrodden ways across an 11-track spread that seamlessly pulls from a magical realism while running sonically roughshod w/ their blend of lo-fi punk, meets DeathRawk meets SST post_punking as witnessed on the stellar title-track.
