a year ago when me and my family got a dog and we were deciding what to name him I threw the name "sam" into the mix and everyone eventually agreed on that so now our dog is named Sam.

little did they know, at that time I had just started watching life on mars.

I heard abt the whole cancelled lazarus script and I'm genuinely sooo sorry to hear that.

PLUS it's a huge fucking personal tragedy for me bc I genuinely had no idea abt this show until a few weeks ago and I found out that the BFI reading was on the 19th of November- ONE DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY AND THIS IS SO FUCKED UP I curse myself for not hyperfixating on it sooner.

That being said - tysmm for all the information AND the warnings. I'm genuinely shaking in my boots at this point and I'm trying to plan my viewing schedule so that I won't watch the finale alone (I think I might need immediate emotional support).

as the chance of series 3 of life on mars becomes more and more of a possibility, i can't help but feel more and more anxious about it

i'm in a minority who LOATHED the ending of LoM, and really really didn't like a2a (there are things i like about it, but i couldn't muscle past what bothered me about it)

so with how evident it is that this is intended to be the long-lost Proper Segue™️ from LoM to a2a, i'm really nervous about the material it's gonna go over, and im nervous about getting hurt as bad as i did the first time

sam tyler is the only fictional character i've ever genuinely grieved for. i'm talking all 5 stages, man. took me months (maybe even years) to recover

idk, all i'm sayin' is i'll probably wind up checking it out, but i'm gonna be going in SUPER cautious
