Some days, when I catch myself beating myself up over not accomplishing more tasks that day, I make an itemized list of everything I did. (I give myself a star or a smiley face sticker on my calendar if I can squeeze in 5 chores and/ or a decent cardio session.

When you list everything, you realize you actually did a lot. There's just THAT much to do every day for one human being.

Households, communities, ect exist because there is just THAT much shit to do for survival. (I say this and still scold myself for laziness).

Don't beat yourself up. You're not lazy, you're human.

“why are you tired? you haven’t done anything all day” the simple fact that i exist drains me. hope this helps

That might not be personal. Feels like most of my efforts to organise anything run into dead ends like. Forever. I keep trying because I need help and Ive tried the whole giving up and wanting to die thing, it doesnt work for me. Its exhausting and incredibly frustrating on every level. I just keep thinking, I want to live and I want a better life, and the only way is to keep putting in the effort and hope it pays off eventually somehow.

frustrated with myself because it feels like i keep putting effort into things that dont work out and it sucks

#tbh ivr bern playing a lot of Hades and that roguelite mindset kind of helps?#like ok i seem to be bqck at the start. I hate that they gave Sam a stupid reason for hating Halloween (he embarrassed himself at a Halloween party) when his initial reason for hating Halloween, that his life FUCKING SUCKED was a much better reason

Like he had an alcoholic father that was lost in his grief and who didn’t try to make anything special for him and his brother never mind the holiday that happens 2 DAYSSSS before the anniversary of his wife’s death

Like he says it himself. He doesn’t care about Christmas or Halloween. He never trick or treated. They had kfc for Christmas. His first experience of a family holiday was with someone else’s family. No one ever cut the crusts of his sandwiches!!!!

Like dean sees Halloween and horror movies and dressing up as escapism. Halloween was probably his fav for the opportunity to escape his life for a night and get free treats that he wouldn’t usually get.

Sam sees holidays as depressing reminders of how shitty his life is 💯

#My chronic pain has been getting so much worse lately #Dislcoations are also happening more often #And as someone who used to be insanely athletic I’ve been grieving so heavily for who I used to be and what I used to be capable of #I used to be able to run a marathon easily and now *walking* is painful #I use a cane most days now #My literal only freedom is while figure skating #And to discover there’s another thing I can do? I feel like I’m getting a piece of myself back even while my health is getting worse #This feels so euphoric #But knowing I be active by skating? It’s been my life line. And now I can bike!#And I just don’t know what to say #Also for clarification I can bike now but it’s still painful to a degree: Figure skating is not painful for me #But biking still has a level of pain but so far it’s not like ‘I’m completely unable to do this’ pain instead it’s like #‘Wow yeah this is painful but everything is and this is a pain I can manage to deal with because I’m being active and that makes me happy’#ykwim?#Oh and new symptoms of paralysis.
