firebender reader that captures airbender yuuta to take him back to the fire nation as a reward and honestly he should fight back, he could fight back, and he probably shouldn’t blush when you’re rough with him, but you’re really pretty and stubborn and sure the ropes you put around his hands and ankles are really tight but it could have been worse. and you haven’t burned or scarred him, and you even give him some of fish you capture and cook along the way, so maybe you don’t really hate him that much. it’s so much of yuuta nervously rambling as you two travel and you not responding, but that doesn’t stop yuuta, nor does it deter him from thinking that you’re not all bad. clearly you’re strong and determined and you believe capturing him with worth something so he kinda…. let’s it be (also he thinks he’d lose a fight to you) and somewhere along the way he gets the courage to point blank as you why you’re taking him and i’d love to say he talk no jutsus you into not turning him in but also love the idea of someone else attacking you and yuuta turning on the airbending to choke them out which is insane bc you’ve done nothing but capture him but who’s to say that’s not a form of love too xoxo

or we can consider you and megumi growing up in the south pole together, it’s a small town so it’s not a coincidence that you two become friends, even if megumi is a little gruff at first. you two do everything together, even though your water bending abilities start to differ as you get older—you become much more mischievous, while megumi becomes focused on precision and healing. it’s why, despite the tradition being father and son to go out hunting, toji takes you out to sea to go ice fishing and you always run back home to megumi with your capture in hand, damn near tackling him every time and happily proclaiming you caught his favorite; and every time he tells you to calm down and not cause a scene, but you don’t, and toji and his mom chuckle as you tackle him and megumi tries to blush and wrangles you into a seat inside while he helps his mom with dinner. and really, all is well until some snobby prince from another town claims that your family is indebted to his and that you’re betrothed as collateral and everyone finds out very quickly that even though megumi spent all his time focusing on healing, that he’s still toji’s son and can make one hell of a tsunami if it calls for it. (and when the storm, literally, passes, megumi huffs as he digs through his belonging and stuffs a necklace in your hand and all you can do is blink and wonder what’s going on while his mom snickers in the background and winks at you “i think that’s a proposal, dear.”)

orrrrrr even though i firmly believe in airbender satoru superiority, i do make an exception for stealing yue’s plot line and making satoru a waterbender and prince who’s hair is only white because he blessed and saved by the moon spirit when he was very young. ofc, that’s not enough to make him nearly as humble as he should be, and satoru spends all his days ignoring his princely duties and bothering you and a nanami instead, ditching his masters and servants in favor of pouting at you to teach him your skills instead because satoru wholly believes his duty is not to serve as the bridge between his people and the moon, but instead to annoy you and hopefully make you mrs half-moon someday

not me popping back on here with a post after months of semi-inactivity (uni is being a bitch) just to reiterate how much i love writing the pahkitew island cast.

aside from sammy and amy (obviously), literally everyone else can be shipped with one another and it'd make sense to some degree, like it takes skill to create a group of people so inherently shippable (platonically and/or romantically) and ofc the writers didn't know it they just shoved a bunch of random ppl together and dusted their hands off on it but fr tho 😭

Poppies Mean Death and Remembrance

For no particular reason, I decided to revisit the thing I wrote with the flower meanings thing. It originally came from thinking about them making flower crowns for each other during a date (on Hermitcraft), and then I wove in meanings and made it more painful. After some time, Scar stopped giving bouquets to Grian and instead just wove some into his hair.

Grian trails after Scar, heart hurting. They really had to do this, didn’t they? He didn’t want to, but with the ghosts shouting in their ears, they don’t have much a choice.

He’s startled out of his thoughts as they cross through a field of flowers. While many were there, two specific flowers catches his attention. “Lilacs and poppies,” he murmurs.

Scar looks over his shoulder, turning slightly, just silently giving him a sad smile. Grian’s pain being mirrored in it.

Grian reaches up and touches the stem of the poppy still in his hair. Scar had woven one of each into his hair before the final battle started. After all the fighting and his respawn, they’re in a terrible state, but still hold strong.

Poppies mean death

The irony isn’t lost on him. He starts walking again, he can’t afford thinking on this more, it will make this all the more harder. Scar seems to agree as he continues walking as well.*

Grian looks down at the perilous drop down the cliff. Everything hurt, both physically and emotional. His tears haven’t stopped coming, but he’s no longer violently sobbing like before.

He reaches up and touches the poppy again, he wants to take it out to look at it, but he can’t bear to undo what Scar did. Not anymore.

“Poppies represent death,” he murmurs. He glances back at Scar’s body, unable to resist, “and remembrance.”

The irony cuts through his grief, maybe it was spelled out from the start.

Grian steps off the cliff before he can think on it too hard. The ground comes up fast and hard, but hurting a lot less then killing Scar did.

Poppies means remembrance.

Scar isn’t aware of the path his feet take him on, too lost in thought, until he sees the flowers. He unintentionally led them to where he collected the poppies and lilacs that he gifted to Grian.

“Lilacs and poppies,” Grian murmurs, realizing.

Scar turns around to give him a sad smile, realizing he never show Grian this place before. It hurts for Grian to see it now.

Grian reaches up and touches one of the steams in his hair, a sad look on his face. The flowers themselves are slightly wilted and missing a few petals. They still look beautiful, Grian still looks beautiful.

After a moment, Grian start walking again, Scar following a moment later. There isn’t anything for them to say. Not anymore. Not anything that won’t cause them more pain.

“Gri,” Scar chokes out, hovering next to Grian as he stands on a cliff. He knows what his lover is planning to do and he can’t stop it. Tears are still flowing down his guilt and grief stricken face.

Grian touches the poppy again, before murmuring, “poppies represent death.”

Scar winces at the irony, he never thought about their meaning before.

“And remembrance,” he murmurs, glancing over his shoulder.

An emotion flashes across his face, but before Scar can read it, Grian steps off the cliff. Scar reaches out, as if he can catch Grian, but misses and is forced to watch him fall to his death.

canon divergent AU where OG! Bianca and Ailette's deathdates were later, so Cardinal Cartelyena only visits the Gilette Mansion and brings Ailette to the Vatican some time after the Day of Sacrifice, after the mess caused by the Toy Mansion is settled.

There's two ways this AU can go:

1. Ailette meets a heavily traumatised Tesilid who watched his roommate kill everyone else and then himself.

2. Ailette doesn't cross paths with Tesilid. When the 17th starts, they do not have the pre-established trust that they have in canon. Ailette is playing on ultra-hard mode, as if being in an SS-class world wasn't already hard enough. Tesilid also has no reason to pretend to be nicer than he actually feels like being, so their dynamic is also very different.

First one is a line right before Jarvis disobeys some very important safety orders. Second one is Jarvis a while after the Octonauts abandon them and the Gups, not fully understanding cause they thought they were protecting someone. Third one is Polly noting that the Captain broke a very special promise he made. Forth one is the both of them shouting that they never killed anyone (Polly because she never tried and never would, Jarvis because she did try and failed every time).

Are the others relevant in Meteors or is this a Roxy-focused thing? I mean relevant as in part of the story/their presence actually helps rather than hinders the story (this isn’t meant to be negative I’m so sorry if I sound that way)

Not negative at all no worries! It's a valid question!

The others ARE relevant! Massively in fact! My brain has just been rotating some of the bigger and more uhhhh painful(?) elements of this version lately, so they've been coming up a bit less.

Roxy is probably going to be the much larger focus character, because of the Blorboism and because of the new structure I've got here. I'm still working on what specific direction I want to take a lot of the other animatronics, Vanessa, Eddie, Luis maybe and whoever else that comes along, but they physically can't be irrelevant.

Basically, what I want this version of Meteors to be structured like, is I suppose, two separate stories that are actually just one. Roxy (and somewhat Cassie as well) is acting sort of like a bridge between two separate worlds, the familiar Ruined Pizza Plex (and by extension, the remnants of Fazbear's actions) and the unfamiliar Outside World. These two places start off (hopefully anyway) feeling light years apart, but gradually feel closer and closer to each other until they're now just one world. Which is... not something I've ever done before ngl so while I'm determined to give it a try, I'm also like. Fully aware if I ever actually start writing it (I live in hope) that it may not come across like that lmao but hey! Live and learn!

Anyway! With this in mind, yeah the other animatronics are all relevant as a part of the Pizza Plex side of the story. With Ruin as the set up and with the narrative puzzle pieces I have in my head, there is a lot to do over on that side of things! Like. An actual fuck ton of ground to cover, and Roxy's not doing that on her own, it wouldn't be possible and would kinda suck ngl

I don't have a set role for everyone at the moment. Like I say, I've had the broader, and newer stuff on my mind lately and this structure is brand new so I haven't really slotted everything into place just yet. I know what I want to include, I have a huge fun ending in mind that I really hope slots in with the 'both worlds being one' thing by the time I get there, but yeah uhh... still working on it so if you want to know what a specific animatronic's role is uhhhh you may not get an answer right away but you also might trigger my brain to work it out right then and there so... Take this as you will lmao

What I have now? Mostly Roxy because she's my blorbo of all time lmao. I've also got scenarios with some new concepts and bots I want to try out from book sources that I'm HEAVILY fucking around with, and some new ideas for the others that I need to cook a bit more because while they're good and fun, they might not fit what I'm aiming for now. I dunno! I had those ideas last night I haven't really had a huge amount of time to see how they'd fit yet, ya know? We'll see how it goes!
