Soooooo there's a weird situation going on so I'm going to talk about it here

My class is one of the worst classes in school so they had to have a parent meeting to discuss all the mess we've been making

One of the mothers said that her daughter told her that she heard that several of her classmates have lices, lots of lices

And I think it's the fault of my group of friends and I

Soooo we have this joke where we say to each other that we have lices and we have so many lices that we can see them walking through our hair, that we can see how we scratch ourselves very desperately, it's just a stupid joke to annoy each other

The girl only heard us saying that, she told her mother and now they will campaign against head lice throughout the school

A verdade é que eu nunca quis viver um conto de fadas. Quando criança não planejei um casamento dos sonhos ou sequer cogitei dedicar anos em busca do grande amor da minha vida. Eu sonhava em ser grande. Queria que meu peito chegasse a doer de tanta felicidade e que eu tivesse tempo na terra o suficiente para ler todos os livros que estavam na minha estante - e todos os outros que eu ainda compraria e que ficariam anos fechados até serem folheados e sentirem meus dedos pela primeira vez. Sempre quis que lembrassem de mim pela minha alma, por conselhos que dei e pelas vezes que eu dediquei de mim mesma pelos outros. Sonhava que as pessoas lembrariam de mim por muitos anos, mesmo depois que eu partisse. Desejei por muito tempo ser um espelho, quando nem eu mesma conseguia me enxergar. Me perdi no meio desse processo. Parei de escrever, inclusive - apesar desse ter sido o principal fator na hora de escolher o que eu cursaria na faculdade. Ainda não quero um conto de fadas e também continuo não desejando uma vida moldada e padronizada pela sociedade. Mas no final do dia eu sempre, s e m p r e, vou estar em busca de momentos que me façam querer rasgar minha pele para acalmar minha alma, e minha mandíbula, que doem de tanta felicidade.

Yeah... the CDC just said kids don't have to go home early anymore if they have lice, so... I dunno about you but that doesn't sound very trustworthy :/

The CDC is ACTIVELY weakening its guidelines on lice so that students with lice can remain in school. Now, why would they do that, right? 'Cause children missing school in a vacuum is not necessarily a bad thing, particularly when they're trying to prevent the spread of something like lice -- or COVID but hey, YOU all don't wanna talk about that anymore, right?

But it's because you all work and they don't want you staying home from work, so they'll expose your children to lice in order for you to stay in work, for you to make those ducats, right? For corporations and billionaires.

If this is something you can tolerate -- feel free, right? But these loosening guidelines don't just stop with lice. They are running down the list of things, so that it harms and impacts your children, your families and your communities, and disabled people have been saying this from the beginning -- that it won't just stop at COVID because disabled people are "disposable", but it'll impact every single thing.

And now, we have a rise in monkeypox, 'cause there's another variant going around, and that has a 10% fatality rate."
