Creatrackers: A Novella Series
Tumblr media
Story (re)introduction
Genre: paranormal fiction, mystery
Tropes: paranormal investigation, found-family, lgbtq+ cast, English gothic, cryptids, folklore, friendly neighbourhood vampire, character blog
Status: book 1: first draft complete + being edited (current word count: 24607) book 2: half written book 3: outlined
Synopsis:
Holly, Adrian, Jo, and Omari are the original Creatrackers; a self-proclaimed research team who try to find evidence of supernatural beings and any other creature they hear about. As the number of crew members and their fans grow, and as the original four start to get older, their fun little hunts start to become far too real. Watch these characters evolve as they grow into adults who start to unravel what truly is out there in the world. In the first book two new members join, including Willa. A seemingly normal 21 year old who has actually been travelling the earth for the past few hundred years, trying to keep her vampire identity a secret. She has no thirst for human blood, only human cultures and the way of life for other creatures like herself. She becomes interested in the group while living in a small English town, and soon joins them on a hunt. Then another, and another... What could possibly go wrong for a vampire who befriends a bunch of monster hunters?

I started this story in July of 2021, though it has been in the back of my mind for longer. Most of it was written between September 2021-January 2022. I spent a year living in England during that time, and it helped me so much with my writing. Not only for realism to the story, which is set in England, but because I was doing online classes and the only person I truly knew in the country (besides my family) was my elderly neighbour. Those months were mostly spent exploring the countryside, sitting by the ocean, struggling through my classes at home, and at a cafe downtown where I wrote. I missed my friends and social life, but this story helped me through that. The group of characters really felt like friends, as cliche and silly as that sounds. I wrote them to be my age, and now as I work on the next two novellas they grow with me.
I started this account as a username claim. I didn't plan on making it into a writeblr account, nor expected to enjoy it so much! I have not been active these past few months because I took a break from editing the first draft of novella one, and hadn't been writing much in general. But I feel inspired and plan to edit and hopefully write during August (around my camping trips) and in the autumn!
I'm not sure if anyone will read this far (lol) I kinda just have spewed nonsense. But I'm really excited for these next few months <3

How do you think toh's social media pressence is? I just imagine the young eda reposting memes and pics of herself 24/7. Oh, and luz blogging on tumblr about azura!
Thank you for the ask @jjjjsjds!
Sorry for taking so long. School was taking almost all of my time. I can definitely see Eda (young or old) posting memes and selfies. Luz’s social media would be filled with Azura content (as well as Amity). I can see Luz and Amity have a joint social media presence, pretty much talking about anything that comes to mind- from Azura to their life experiences. They would have a couple hundred followers because of how real they are and cute as a couple. Their followers would recommend the worst books ever to get Luz and Amity’s reactions like @thesequelnobodywanted on Instagram.
Gus would definitely be a vlogger. He wants to share his first time experiences with everyone. He’s recording his first time trying new foods, activities, basically anything he finds fun. I could see him have a big following because of his likable and charismatic personality. He would always be kind to his fans, take photos, and have little chats with them. Willow would be a recurring guest on his channel. Some videos would even star her trying a new sport or learning about/seeing Human Realm plants. Luz, Amity, and Hunter appear once in a while but they don’t have video focused on them.
I see Hunter wanting a private account and only following people he likes/knows. He’s a private guy. Once in a while, he’d post his palisman carving like progress videos. King wouldn’t have a human realm social media account since he’s a Titan but he’d have one in the Demon Realm. Like Eda, King would repost memes or jokes as well as post new glyphs he created. King would often do (harmless) pranks. Personally, I don’t think Raine would have social media, but if they did the content would be song/music video reactions, how to sing videos, and the occasional ones about the LGBTQ+ community (their personal journey or news). Darius’ content would be fashion and life stories. He would record his sewing process and model the piece. His life story content would be similar to @dontcrossagayman on Instagram. Darius would also do the occasional make up video, but they would be chill where he would try new make up looks.
Amity would convince Alador to get social media to promote the new and improved Blight Industries. Most of the content would be announcements on new inventions; however, Alador does have his fun when he posts videos of himself discovering Human Realm technology and trying to improve him.

Happy Pride month to the……Non-men, Gays and Bi-sexuals. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But of course gay men are still men. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Outrage has been expressed online at Johns Hopkins University over its non-binary-inclusive definition of "lesbian" in its glossary of LGBTQ+ terms.
The Baltimore-based university, a major hub of medical research in the U.S., maintains an extensive glossary of definitions for terms relevant to the broad LGBTQ+ community, which is updated as the subject of gender and sexual identity changes.
On Monday, the glossary's new definition of "lesbian" came under attack as the university defined the term as "a non-man attracted to non-men." The update is meant to be inclusive of non-binary individuals who might still identify as lesbians.
Social media users accused Johns Hopkins of attempting to "erase" women. They also pointed to the glossary's listing for "gay man," which does not use similarly non-binary-inclusive language.
The flare-up comes amid a broader backlash to LGBTQ+ rights and the embrace of queer communities by society. Numerous state legislatures across the U.S. have begun passing laws that target transgender communities, taking particular aim at the ability to get gender-affirming care for trans children. There has also been a vocal, if not definitively widespread, lashing out against companies and brands that market to LGBTQ+ communities or hold Pride Month events.
Newsweek has reached out to Johns Hopkins via email for comment.
The definition prompted a backlash on social media. LGBTQ+ influencer and lesbian vlogger Arielle Scarcella tweeted: "Why is a lesbian a non-man but a gay person isn't a non-woman? Progressive misogyny."
Tumblr media
Twitter user Amy Curtis added: "What is this absolute nonsense... We are women."
Tumblr media
Oli London, who is a critic of "gender ideology," also waded in, as did British TV talk show presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer, who tweeted: "What the actual f....? So now we're not just reduced to being body parts or bleeders or a mere subset of women, we're now 'non-men'."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gay rights activist Fred Sargeant added: "Inarguably, modern times are now the stupidest time and universities are leading the way.."
Tumblr media
The definition provided by Johns Hopkins is notably distinct from those in similar LGBTQ+ glossaries maintained by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
The HRC's first sentence in its definition of lesbian reads: "A woman who is emotionally, romantically or sexually attracted to other women." There is a second sentence adding that non-binary people may use the term to describe themselves.
The ADL's glossary defines lesbian as a "woman who is emotionally, physically and/or romantically attracted to some other women."

The political party "Revival" (Vazrazhdane) has introduced a bill on foreign agents to the National Assembly, according to their press center. This proposed legislation mandates the registration of all individuals and organizations, including politicians and political parties, that receive foreign funding. The party aims to advance this bill in the fourth parliament.
The party argues that the bill is necessary to prevent external influences on the media, associations, and foundations, which play a crucial role in shaping public opinion. They assert that such a measure will safeguard these entities from foreign interference.
A similar law has been in place in Russia for years, where it has been used to suppress dissent. A comparable bill was also prepared in Serbia but was withdrawn for additional coordination. In Georgia, the government pulled the draft law following widespread protests.
In August, during a parliamentary committee meeting on demographic policy and youth and sports, led by the pro-Russian party "Revival" (Vazrazhdane), there was a strong push for the immediate adoption of a "foreign agents" law, aimed at restricting civil organizations in Bulgaria.
This move follows a recent ban on discussing LGBTQ+ topics in schools and echoes similar legislation in Russia. The proposed law would mandate that any organization, artist, journalist, or vlogger receiving foreign funding declare themselves as "foreign agents," limiting their participation in state-related activities and positions.
The meeting included various guests who supported the law, arguing it is necessary to curb foreign influence and restrict LGBTQ+ advocacy. Critics, however, view the law as a tool for suppressing dissent and limiting freedoms, similar to its use in Russia.

anyway as someone who like a year ago was really into the 'anti-family vloggers' community homophobia & transphobia in those circles are INSANE. Like i unfollowed one of the biggest 'advocates' in the circle bc they started spouting the trans women are abusing kids, and knowing about the existence of LGBTQ+ people was too 'explicit' for kids. Don't even get me started about how they're the driving force behind KOSA.
Congrats! you're not shitty about this one thing, but you're shitty about something else!

The "TikTok" Ban Bill isn't just a singular Ban: It will Change our internet and Violate our Free speech/Press/The Right to Assemble to a Protest/Economic Rights/People right to vote anonymously.
Also why it is happening/speculation.
What you can do
Firstly
No you cannot use a VPN to get around and here's why
I haven't post here in a while since I been busy
But this "bipartisan" Bills will shift the internet, effect small businesses and is will throw us further into a f@cist state in the US if we don't do anything.
The RESTICT act is mainly what I will be inferring to.
It is a bill that was
It was written by Republican representative the man is known to be in the photo of the raise fist during the events that took place during Jan.6 and was cosponsor by a Democrat who is investing in Meta.
If you do or do not know the RESTICT act is or The Tiktok Ban, both bills effects everyone on the internet.
It is still in the early congressional revising
But to sum it up 》》
It gives the president excutive power to sign then give commerce the power to ban sites and apps with 1 million people which is only 3% of the population.
Then the ban tiktok act, bans tiktok
It also make VPNs use to get around the ban illegal, 20 years in jail and can land you over 2 millions in fines.
Tiktok Ban is a trap
This will legalize the government to your data, indoor and outdoor security cameras, computer, speakers on Google or Alexa devices, search history.
This bill is a prime example of a big brother law.
This should make you angry and scared because this ban effects everyone, every app, every site and everywhere.
This bill problem, is it is too vague, it is overreaching, it will do negative impact to our economy ,and it is taking your rights.
It will effect vvv
- Small businesses
- Poc creators
-travelers/refugee access
- Online journalists
- People who create fanfiction/art/music/writing/content
- Commissioners NSFW or not
- Vloggers
- Privacy
- Educational sites, Fact checkers, Educational Creators.
- Protesters
- Game development, Game developers, people play games from countries, people who play games about political topics.
- Pirating apps and sites, emulators
- YouTubers, Streamers, Redditors, People who post on Instagram.
-LGBTQ+ people
-People with disabilities
-People who post online platforms
-ARGs
-Abortion rights and rights to medical privacy
-People who like the things or do the things on this lists
-Dark Web
- Then everyone that of course uses the internet for various reasons
What this will allow
Newstations to censor anything they want, guess what your "trusted source" is own by the same company.
CNN and Fox News is owned by the same group.
Many major news outlets are own by the same people.
A lot of information about things will be restricted by corporations.
The incident in Ohio wouldn't have been talked about if it weren't for people speaking on it online.
Even worse imagine a shooting happen like what happened on monday and they will completely censor, or even not speak about it.
---
It will strip the rights to vote in privacy and to know who to vote for.
Government can spy on you if this gets passed.
That can go wrong in many ways.
If passed like I said information will be restricted.
So polling places and voting, what is closed, what is safe, what is working, where to resubmit, if your votes are being tampered with, will be harder to know.
---
As for the things listed
It will either effect you
- Because you are part of a marginalized(s) group that rely on quick information to Assemble.
- The platforms can easily ban you or your creators, control narratives or keep in ad money.
-The things you create will have to follow a certain structure to try not to Violate any laws relating to it.
-Protesters/allies/anyone with a opinion may face difficulty with organizing.
-People who have the ability to get pregnant will have a harder time being safe.
-Meta stop paying their users
- Games like Genshin can be put under this law
Additional Note:
-*You will have to get a license to be on the internet from what I heard.
I cannot confirm this because of the fact this is still technically in drafts.
》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》
Now there's many reasons:
Either your senator/rep(congressional people) is investing in Meta
The Congressional folks are fascists
That the US wants to reestablish the patriot act
The force selling of tiktok
To pressure China to leave to BRICS program/Look tough on China because China is becoming a superpower.
To control the narrative
To "protect" your data
That they are just racist towards a superpower app who is own by a asian man.
The protect data excuse doesn't fly,
it is not only we know they haven't been informed before the congressional hearing of Mr.Chew the CEO of tik tok.
Also because they got chances to regulate Facebook which Facebook is well known either evidence to actually to sell data towards governments like China which they are a accusing tiktok of.
Facebook is also sponsored this bill, same with Google and if remember Twitter.
As you can see they were racist and bigoted during this.
Mr.Chew is Singaporean and the company is completely private.
Mr.Chew also offed solutions like Project Texas which will have states store the data and the US companies can check.
If you look into the hastags on relating to the "tiktok ban" you can see the various reasons I listed, with evidence.
I suggest watching
@photosteveg81
@crutches_and_spice
@sayheyjames
They are talking about it the most, but please also REPOST other creators and spread this around.
》》》》》》》》》》
What you can do
Do this always, Call your congressional people CALL THEM EVERY DAY. Do not give them a sob story they don't care what they care about is money.
There's many great templates online but basically what you gotta is you are going to support their primary opponent the primary elections.
If they support this bill, bills like the RESTICT act or the sell of Tiktok.
Also tell people the same important information Givin here and tell them to do the same.
Both Republicans and democrats, leftists, centrist citizens HATE THIS BILL.
You need to spread it on all platforms.
It threatens them if more people know about primaries
it threatens their money for campaigning in midterms because if they have to use it on a primary opponent that is supported it will cost a lot more.
Of course they know if they don't "catch up" they get left behind.
This was the bare minimum but to go beyond to make sure it is stuck in their minds do this.
Make it clear you aren't going back to meta
Also there's two ways, you can find online on how to call.
Next
Tank Meta stock, you can quit, dump, deactive your account, give it a bad review, or do all 》 ON ALL AREAS including Facebook, Instagram, Whatapp.
Organize protests outside their buildings congressional or Meta
Tell everyone about it
Email content creators, on all platforms about this
Repost posts like this, posts like mine
Take a screen Shot of said posts and share it
Spam your congressional people emails.
Deny gov Republicans and democrats services.
Ruin their lives
