Ya’ll are absolutely SLEEPING on the absolutely AMAZING SuperBat content we get in the Lego Batman 2 video game. Besides it being one of the greatest lego games of all time, Batman and Superman’s dynamic is absolutely PEAK golden retriever x black cat energy. The kind hearted Kansas boy just smiling and going like, “Aww! You may act tough but I know you care.” And Superman acting all cool in front of Robin as the kid fanboys over him to get on Bat’s good side is as hilarious as it is adorable. Not to mention Bats acts more like a tsundere anime character instead of just gruff and cold. Like the coldness was toned down in favor of his jealousy of Super, but it’s obvious he admires and cares for Superman during their team ups later on especially when Batman has to later save him and the city from Lex Luthor and Joker.

Also the voice acting is absolute PEAK as well as Lex and Joker team up.

This game is peak fiction I swear!

I'm too angry and in my feels to make a coherent response to Lex's "You can't control Superman" and "Earth is for the Earthlings" lines, but it is exactly this narrow view regarding the capability of Superman's powers that has these people becoming the very weapons/villains they see Superman as, because none of them can comprehend having so much power and using it for good.

If you could fly why use it to rescue a cat from a tree or help an old lady cross the street?

If you could shoot lasers out of your eyes why use it to repair a bridge when you can kill?

If you were invulnerable, why throw yourself in front of a car to save a child when you could cause harm without reproach?

Though they label Clark an 'alien', they see him as too human to be anything but genuine in his desire to help people, and that's why they fear him. Because they can't understand him.
