So I know next to nothing about Halsey, their career or who they are as a human (other than they use they/them pronouns if I'm not mistaken and are known for singing?) but I just wanted to send love and support to their fanbase. Roman Empire has been there, we see you. We know exactly what you're feeling. How it hurts to see your hero go through something like this. Healing vibes to Halsey and strength to their friends, family, fans and loved ones durring this time.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Flags!!
This flag was designed by us, as we currently have a family member with Leukemia and wish to bring awareness to this kind of cancer.
color meaning:
#FF2D34: Myeloma
#00DC0E: Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
#FF8C2E: Leukemia
#D12DFF: Hodgkin Lymphoma
Below is information all about Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancers.
Leukemia and Lymphoma are both cancers that are not associated with a tumor. Lymphomas are cancers that affect the lymph system and start in cells called lymphocytes. Leukemia is a cancer of the early blood-forming tissues, including your bone marrow and lymph system.
There are many types of lymphoma. Some grow and spread slowly and some are more aggressive. There are two main types of Lymphoma:
1. Hodgkin Lymphoma is cancer that starts in the B lymphocytes (B cells) of the lymph system. Your lymph system helps you fight infection and control the fluids in your body.
2. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) is cancer that starts in the lymphocytes anywhere lymph tissue is found:
Lymph nodes
Spleen
Bone marrow
Thymus
Adenoids and tonsils, or
The digestive track.
Leukemia typically involves white blood cells, the cells that are your infection fighters. Leukemia can be divided into categories: fast growing (acute) and slow growing (chronic); and by which white blood cells are affected:
Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL)
Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML)
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL
Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML)
A screening test is used to detect cancers in people who may be at higher risk for developing the disease. With leukemia and lymphoma, there are no early detection tests. The best way to find them is to be aware of the symptoms:
Swollen lymph nodes which can appear as a lump in the neck, armpit or groin;
Fever
Night sweats
Weight loss without trying, and
Fatigue.
Leukemia can have similar symptoms but also can include:
Easy bleeding or bruising;
Recurring nosebleeds; and
Bone pain or tenderness
Myeloma is cancer of the plasma cells. Plasma cells are white blood cells that produce disease- and infection-fighting antibodies in your body. Myeloma cells prevent the normal production of antibodies, leaving your body's immune system weakened and susceptible to infection. The multiplication of myeloma cells also interferes with the normal production and function of red and white blood cells. An abnormally high amount of these dysfunctional antibodies in the bloodstream can cause kidney damage. Additionally, the myeloma cells commonly produce substances that cause bone destruction, leading to bone pain and/or fractures.
Myeloma cells are produced in the bone marrow, the soft tissue inside your bones. Sometimes myeloma cells will travel through your blood stream and collect in other bones in your body. Because myeloma frequently occurs at many sites in the bone marrow, it is often referred to as multiple myeloma.
Signs and symptoms of myeloma include the following:
Hypercalcemia (excessive calcium in the blood)
Anemia (shortage or reduced function of red blood cells)
Renal damage (kidney failure)
Susceptibility to infection
Osteoporosis, bone pain, bone swelling, or fracture
High protein levels in the blood and/or urine
Weight loss
In 2022, more than 62,650 people are expected to be diagnosed with leukemia. In addition:
Leukemia accounts for 3.6% of all new cancer cases.
The overall 5-year survival rate for leukemia has more than quadrupled since 1960.
62.7% of leukemia patients survive 5 years or more.
The diagnosis of leukemia requires specific blood tests, including an examination of cells in the blood and marrow.
Treatment and prognosis depend on the type of blood cell affected and whether the leukemia is acute or chronic. Chemotherapy and blood and marrow transplant are often used to treat leukemia.

There’s not enough time to tell you about all the ways Dr. Mark Yoffe has helped my family & friends over the years but he's currently treating my mom for Stage IV colon cancer along with a primary lung cancer and a blood cancer. He’s also lent his knowledge to help me bring authenticity to the medical issues in my books Garrett, The Hard Truth About Sunshine, Atticus and Dax. This year, Mark has accepted the nomination to serve as the first Alumni All-Star Visionary of the Year (VOY) candidate for the Triangle Market of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). He has a bold vision and wants our team to raise $250,000 to further research and education of blood cancers and all cancers with the downstream effects from LLS funded research.

Everything Is Alright Pt 43
IDW Soundwave x Reader
• “Hey, boss,” Rumble says, guiltily looking up from where he and the other cassettes are digging through the pile of things he’d been accumulating since Starscream had destroyed his last gifts for you in a fit of temper. “Everything good?” The question is innocent enough, but the answer is a bit more complicated, because he’s not at all sure. Especially not when he’s all too aware of the warmth of you against him, of the turmoil in his spark, his processor. That storm centering around you and what he suspects may be the beginnings of a dangerous obsession that had started so quietly he hadn’t even noticed it. But when he’d thought you were lost to him? No, everything isn’t good at all.
• It’s warm and dreamless, floating in a sea of safety with that low, thrumming to ground you. Not fully asleep, but not quite awake either. Groaning when that cassette door opens with a soft click and you’re squinting against the bright light after the dim glow of his biolights. You don’t bother resisting when he lifts you out with gentle servos to drape you across his other palm. Hand lingering to cage you there as you yawn and stretch, fingertips grazing one of his servos. “Hey,” you say, looking up to find him just staring at you. Remembering how uneasy that unreadable stare had once made you, but now it doesn’t phase you at all.
• “Little one,” he replies, aware of his cassettes watching the interaction. Wondering what they’re thinking, but unwilling to trespass in their thoughts. Fixated by how soft you are in his hands, the warm, affectionate current of your emotions. Of your trust sinking into him. Rumbling softly in amusement when you try to wedge yourself between two of his servos so you can look around. Reluctantly , he gives in and lowers you to the ground near the cassettes and his new acquisitions for you. And there’s your smile as Frenzy greets you with ‘Squishy,’ Lazerbeak launches himself to try and land on your shoulders and only succeeds in knocking you down flat. Rumble laughing as Ravage rolls his eyes from where he’s sprawled to watch. It feels like you belong here with him and his cassettes. Like you never left.
• Pushing at Lazerbeak’s head as he tugs your hair with his beak, you give up when he just goes limp, his weight nearly driving the air from your lungs, because you’re not going anywhere unless he decides to move. Head tipping to find Soundwave still watching you, the servos of one hand flexing slowly. Like he wants to say something, but he finally turns and heads for his desk. And Lazerbeak bites the lobe of your ear, not hard enough to hurt, but enough to jolt you. Soundwave’s helm tips slightly as he sits at his desk, but he doesn’t turn and you shove at Lazerbeak’s head. “Boss thought you were dead,” he whispers in your ear, the low words chilling you. Inhaling, you look upside down at the big, stoic mech. You hadn’t even thought about what he’d assume when Starscream had tried to free you, but now you are and even though you couldn’t have changed anything, there’s still a hollow guilt that he’d been worried over you. Because if he just disappeared without a trace? Him or Star? Just thinking about it expands that ache until it’s hard to breathe, because it hurts. They’re yours, both of them.

@BDSBoston Elbit Systems plans on attending a fundraiser for cancer in Boston... When Elbit shows up, we show up! The Leukemia and lymphoma society's annual Light the Night fundraiser will take place on October 17th on the Boston common. One group participating is the "Cambridge Team" for Israel's Largest weapons manufacturer - Elbit Systems. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society aims to "fund lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provide free information and support services, and be the voice for all blood cancer patients." Yet Elbit profits from the wholesale destruction of hospitals in Gaza, preventing Gazan cancer patients from accessing proper treatment. The cruel hypocrisy of Israel's largest weapons manufacturer showing up to charity event for cancer research as their weapons are used daily to destroy hospitals and murder healthcare workers and patients alike must not go unchecked. We oppose Elbit's efforts to whitewash their reputation!
BDS Boston will show up to Light the Night's event tomorrow evening, where we will tell attendees who Elbit is and the ways Elbit is harming leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancer patients in Gaza.
Leave a common on Elbit Systems of America Cambridge's fundraising page to tell Elbit employees loud and clear that they have no right to show up to this event while working for a company that deprives Gazan cancer patients access to life-saving medicine and care! tinyurl.com/elbitatlls

If you are sharing shit like this (or any other side by side like this) and poking fun at Roman for "bags under his eyes" or "looking tired all the time" as a way of claiming he's aging fast, you are insensitive af.
Tumblr media
Fatigue is one of many symptoms our champ experiences due to a pill he has to take every single day for the rest of his life.
Tumblr media
In addition to these things, specific Kinase Inhibitors have different additional affects. This is quite possibly one of the reasons for his reduced schedule even. The fact that Joe Anoa'i does even a fraction of the things he does is fucking remarkable.
Tumblr media
Below is Roman discussing the side effects he deals with daily ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Tumblr media
And if me pointing these things out makes you feel like shit:
Tumblr media
Making fun of people for shit that is out of their control is foul. Do better. And in conclusion:
Tumblr media
Also, if you have it and feel so inclined please do donate to LLS where you can also find the bulk of the information I included here and more valuable information on the illness that Roman and many others fight everyday.

When insurance is confusing, patients can unknowingly receive more expensive care. For example, they may go to a doctor that is out of network, or receive a service that's not covered.
But new poll results from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, RIP Medical Debt, and American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network - ACS CAN show that there's another problem: patients often don't know what to do when they get a bill they can't afford.
❌ 1 in 2 didn't know about patient assistance programs run by hospitals or doctor offices to reduce bills
😖 Only 1 in 4 said they'd been offered this type of assistance
😕 Nearly 1 in 4 didn't know you can fight medical bills
❓ Almost 1 in 5 didn't know how to start fighting a bill

Today is the start of Leukemia Awareness Month! For all my fellow Leukemia and blood cancer fighters and survivors, I salute you! As a 24 year survivor after having a life saving Bone Marrow Transplant, I want to give back and help other people who are going through what I did. I am raising money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by walking in their Light the Night walk next month. For anyone who can and would like to sponsor me this year, I would be very grateful. 🧡

RUNNIN' LIKE THIEVES THROUGH THE STREETS OF CHICAGO!
I ran the 45th Chicago Marathon yesterday for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and I couldn't have been prouder to represent such a great organisation!
During the race, a fellow runner came up to me and thanked me for spreading awareness and running for LLS as her son is currently battling leukemia. It really matters the difference such a charity makes in others' lives.
You can help in my efforts here (they're accepting donations until the end of tonight, 9th October).
