*Note for the last two: I am not an AAC user myself, just an advocate! The letterboard can be stuck to commonplace objects and be used as a form of low tech AAC in a pinch. The “This is my voice” sticker is meant to be stuck onto one’s AAC device and give reminders to the user and/or their support person, as well as letting strangers know what the device is!

As always, you’re welcome to print and cut your own stickers at home instead of buying them through RedBubble. I only make a small amount of money from each RedBubble sale, and I’m not in financial crisis anyway, so it’s not big deal, ehe.

In my house, we announce "ATTENTION BAJORAN WORKRS" to communicate mundane tasks and reminders to each other, so I made it into a fill-in-your-own sticker which you can get at my shop. Thanks Gul Dukat!

this is a hard movie for me to talk about because, somehow, as a trans person from india, i am NOT actually the audience for this movie despite this heavily featuring both india and trans people. this kind of feels like an apology letter for Slumdog Millionaire while still playing more to western audiences than it does to indian ones. i have a lot of little hangups with this movie, even recognizing i'm not the audience for it, and we will get into those in a little bit.

having never seen John Wick, this is kind of indian John Wick, now with a mediocre execution of attempted political criticism? i mean, it's an incredibly made action movie, everybody fucking knocks it out of the goddamn park as far as the technical aspects of this go, especially Dev Patel whose impeccable direction and acting almost single-handedly carry this movie on his goddamn back. but also it's like? very strange to talk about when you're not the audience because it's hard to separate what you know compared to what the audience of this movie is expected to know. but i am extremely excited to see what Dev Patel does next, i WILL be seated there day one.
