It's not that I think the handwringing about the assassination opening the door to other acts of vigilante justice are strictly wrong.

It's just that oh honey you are stupid for caring.

We already have a system where people are dehumanized.

We already have a system where people use violence to get what they want.

We already have a system where whoever pillages hardest is the winner.

These tactics being turned against the rich can only bode well for a better ordered society. Out one side of your mouth you correctly say that our society has never actually been "functional", as it has always been a matter of the strong dominating the weak. But out the other you still cry about how people losing faith in the justice system is a bad thing and anarchy is scary.

Take it from me, the "justice" system and chaos have historically always been compatible.

*Note for the last two: I am not an AAC user myself, just an advocate! The letterboard can be stuck to commonplace objects and be used as a form of low tech AAC in a pinch. The “This is my voice” sticker is meant to be stuck onto one’s AAC device and give reminders to the user and/or their support person, as well as letting strangers know what the device is!

Wonder if Kaeya thought Diluc hated him, because when Diluc returned to Mond he was so different than when he was younger.

The Diluc he knew wears his emotions on his sleeves, be it anger, happiness, frustration, sadness,...etc.

But this Diluc is...blank. He's serious all the time. Blank face, annoyed frown, sarcastic/tired/professional voice it's only one of those three.

His brother who couldn't lie, who could only be described as sunshine personified who he could hide, be protected, bask and work in his shadow turned into someone who's always annoyed at worst or plain tired all the time at best.

How guilty could he have felt, to be a reason in this transformation. When did he start thinking that the three years away did more damage and that incident wasn't the only reason.

Does he stay up at night thinking that if he didn't encourage Diluc to leave, some of his brother's old personality, his faith in the world could have been salvaged?

When was he able to get close to Diluc again? To realize that even after everything it's still his brother. Yes, he changed but beneath all that he's still the brother who loved him.
