You say everything in one go as you cough and hiccup. You notice Jake opening his mouth to speak again but you stop him by putting your finger up telling him that you want to continue and that you’re not done yet, “For now, it’s only me but…but I’d like to pretend that we’re still friends, okay?” You say as you look at him with your expectant eyes. 

“Okay…whatever you say..” he says softly as he looks down at your shining eyes which were staring back up at him. “Maybe that’s all you need to move on from me..” he says, mostly to himself but you catch onto it but he doubts you’d remember all this in the morning tomorrow. 

Reaching your door steps he helps you stand straight as he looks through your bag to find your keys. 

“You keep on clinging to your papers and pens, yeah?” You say softly in a joking manner as you enter the house and slam the door shut on his face. 

Letting out a small chuckle Jake looks at your door as he takes a step back, stuffing his hands in his pockets he takes a one last look at your door and walks away. 

That’s an end to a story then, something which was bittersweet. There are some moments he wishes he could forget all together but most of them are the ones he cherishes the most and that’s what matters to him. 

You guys maybe strangers to each other now but the time you both spent as lovers was some of the most valuable ones.

it’s been great fun continuing puppys this year! i esp feel like i understood each side character better as i made each issue. i hope you guys feel the same 😋. it was a big year for Angel, and i miss Lucy a little in hindsight. i’m also happy i got to color most of the issues! unfortunately i couldn’t finish the puppys animatic movie this year, but it’s still in the works! i just had to put it on the backburner for a while. i haven’t forgotten about it 🙏🙏 thank you for your continued support, it makes the process even more worth it :) let me know your thoughts on puppys this year! lots of love, and see you around, puppy fans 🩷

Started this year pretty depressed. Luckily I received help and am definitely mentally in a better place at the moment. Will continue seeing my autism life coach for at least 10 more months, because my self-esteem is still extremely low and impacts everything else.

Healthwise I finally had bowel resection surgery this year! 🙌 I really hope I'll be able to get by without any Crohn's medication for a few years at least 🙏 They told me I'll be getting an endoscopy in January, so we'll see. (I also sought help for my excessive hair loss, and my scalp has since improved. Hopefully my hair will become a bit more full again 🥺)

And I've been thinking about dipping my toes back into fandom servers on Discord. Been avoiding it because my social anxiety is pretty severe. But I also miss it 🥺 So if anyone knows a friendly IWTV Discord server that's relatively small and low-key, please let me know! ❤️

ok ok onto the hc!! 80’s crue all drunk/high celebrating the new year and maybe once the ball drops they all have a nice sloppy make out session to ring in the new year?? like, if they’re all alone together they don’t have to worry about ppl watching them. it’s just the four of them together, sharing the moment together and just celebrating all their accomplishments that year. all i can think about is just the boys cuddled together on a bed in a hotel just petting and kissing each other and then falling asleep in one nice little crue ball together once the ball drops. OR, if they’re at a party they physically can’t stay away from each other for too long. they try to keep it lowkey with the hugs but as soon as the ball drops they’re all pulling each other for a big crue hug, maybe discreetly kissing each others cheeks.

but ughhhh i love modern day crue trying to relive that passion and fun but coming short. like they can all feel that elephant in the room and the tension from it just cuts the momentum. maybe… they try to get 5 involved, but so severely not the same they still manage to accidentally call him mick (you think practically a year together would make them get their act together but….). they start off by just latching onto each other and kissing like old times but… it’s just off. they’d probably just end up reminiscing about their time with mick… how he was actually a pretty good kisser (nikki), how his hugs were so comforting (tommy) and how his presence was just overall comforting (vince)… of course if john was still there he’d just awkwardly nod and maybe ask a question or two and just make all the boys spiral into more regret. AUGHHHH!!!! angsty little bastards. by the time the ball drops they’re heading back to their own hotel rooms, disappointed that things are the same anymore and desperately wanting their old man back.

Before even clarifying, I’m just going to narrate what I heard as I laid each card down. 5 Pentacles - leave behind debt & financial bs that’s killing your bank account. Why - to be rid of it and free yourself. What’s coming in - not a damn thing because you’re not supposed to invest, sign, buy, or add anything else to your already full plate - this is for someone considering a major purchase or stuck with one they’ve already got and needing to downsize or chill out. Pay on the debts you have, someone is battling their own credit or something & it’s a rough situation. Could be other things too but that story is strong, it’s supposed to be first, like someone doesn’t want to hear it 😆 I get it 😆 Or you could’ve invested in something BIG and it’s killing you financially, you can’t possibly keep this up - this is would be something you’re aware of and conflicted over, or maybe even fighting with others about - 5 Wands. Debt collectors & other people involved, someone could have left you high and dry and your name is attached to it? You don’t want to pay it but you don’t have a choice or something…it’s going to bring you down and be this Devil upright if you don’t release or handle this financial stuff. Like you won’t pay the credit card bill out of ego, it’s someone else’s purchases and not your problem (true), but it’s in your name and going to collections - you won’t get approved for an xyz later so…handle it 🙏 For your own sake. Very specific message there.

The clarifiers are more love focused - it’s definitely both here just pick your poison ☠️, for some they could intermingle, which would make sense why you’re stuck with someone else’s financial burden…potentially. The gas bill they didn’t pay, taxes, it could be anything.

Otherwise, there is a relationship that’s over with and it’s staying over with, but you’ve been holding onto hope that one day they’ll return and they’re just idk, acting crazy. Addicted to something…in maybe one case, someone could be dealing with an addict and needing to separate themselves from that…could even be a grown child. IF that is the story then the hope for a return makes complete sense and my heart goes out to you truly 🙏 I hope they beat The Devil too. If they do it would create this Magician energy where progress can be made, they can do anything, but it’s up to them. Or that’s you?

Where this goes - nowhere. You stop battling creditors, exs, feelings of conflicted energy pulling you apart and constantly worrying or obsessing over where things will go, which is what this is showing you really need. You need to set boundaries of where you’re feeling trapped, stuck, or obsessed because that’s the main focus - other people can deal with their own bs, but if you’re forced or somehow tied to it, handle/avoid, just do what’s ultimately best for you.
