Kipp is a mechanic that landed a gig with the Ministry of Joy, specializing in the components of The Marmaliser.

Life was dire for him before he came across the Ministry, which made him extremely susceptible to being marmalised. He's incredibly friendly, but going through the marmalisation process has fried a few of his wires and made him a bit delusional.

He's thinks the machine is sentient (it's not) and actively wants to bring people joy (it doesn't), and also thinks it's his friend (it's not). He'll chatter away with it as he works, and can get a bit protective when things go wrong.

He also thinks Cass is his friend. Cass could NOT disagree more.

He's incredibly attached to the Ministry and their machinery-- they really did it, they made him happy!-- and he has no intention of ever leaving them. He feels like he owes them his life.

YES I am ALSO like...90-95% convinced that we're going to be getting a story card for Silver once we wrap around back to diasomnia. 👀 especially because the way things are going, Silver will be the only character whose dream we haven't seen -- yet???? -- and that just. y'know. makes me wonder!

although I do think it would be VERY funny if he got a story card and the groovy was just "regular Silver except with one beautiful single crystal tear". this is actually a lot coming from him.

(he used up all his emotion yelling at a baby that one time, there's none left for a proper groovy-level cry.)

I was looking at bts from Emma D’Arcy + Olivia Cooke photoshoot and realized we’ve never seen adult Alicent truly smile or laugh in the show and possibly never will. There’s been a few instances of a sarcastic/sardonic smile, but the closest I can think of is a brief moment when she is first holding baby joff, or minuscule moments during the 1x08 dinner. But like, we’ve yet to have a true smile of joy from adult Alicent the entire show, which is just really sad.
