In honor of the beginning of May, I offer a different type of fanart and fandom:

It’s May!! I get to celebrate my silly lil holiday for however long I see fit this month until summer comes.

Okay, so, I made this while I was homeless (5-6 years), therefore I have no stable timeframe as to when and where I was. I, along with my family, did the best with what we had around us to balance out the chaos of the world- my preference happened to be reading and music.

I began listening to this band before I ended up homeless, finding the damn band while walking to a library which was on the other side of the lil hick town I grew up in. “Disasterology” was the first song I ever heard by Pierce the Veil, and wow it was tragic.

A year later, the Collide With the Sky album was released and I was sleeping in a stranger ‘s attic. Funny how life works.

To show my gratitude to these guys -Vic, Tony, Jaime- I worked on this off and on until I just had the necklace piece left- that didn’t come for another year or so. I carry this around when I know I need comfort or a little support. I won’t get into the process of how I made this, that will be difficult to explain and I do not have the ability to articulate everything concisely.

I don’t wanna make this super long, and if it is, thanks to whoever may read this, I appreciate you.
