Storm meets you for the first time when you’re enrolled to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters

Once Professor X gets to meet with you and talk over your needs and such, he decides to make Storm your guardian and advisor, having a sneaking suspicion that you were going to need her.

Immediately she’s warm and welcoming. She carries herself with a motherly touch and tenderness. Leading you around the school she either has a hand on your shoulder or a hand in your hand.

Extremely protective over you, even before she learns about your regression. She has you under her wing of protection at all times.

When she does learn about your regression, she’s extremely open and willing to be there and care for you. She pampers you with anything and everything you could need and makes sure NO ONE teases you about it.

But most at the school seem very accepting of your age regression. Some even going out of their way to check in on you. Others who aren’t don’t dare say a word knowing Storm is your Caregiver.

Whenever she’s on missions without you by her side, she constantly checks in with little texts here and there. She also tries to find a babysitter for you, someone in the mansion she feels comfortable leaving you.

That person turns out to be Logan most of the time. At first he’s all “trying to act manly” but then after a mission Storm finds him with hair clips in his hair or ok the ground playing cars with you. He’s truly a softie when it comes to age regressors. (Let me know if you guys want cg Wolverine headcannons)

She’s always looking to make happy. Like one sunny day you wished it was raining. Well that’s an easy fix for her!

Thunderstorms relax you, always making you think of her.

Sometimes she takes you flying! There’s no greater feeling

She enjoys the small things too, like combing your hair, painting your nails, long walks or even helping you with your powers.

At the end of the day she’s all for you, always a motherly and gentle Caregiver to you

Halloween headcannons🎃

Halloween rolls around and the mansion is decked out!!

She helps you pick out your costume but the thing is…you want to be her! She’s honored to hear it and beams with happiness!

So of course her and Jean help you make a custom x-men suit!

She join you in her own costume, you looking like a mini version of herself.

But…she’s strict about how much candy got eat before the nights over. But Uncle Logan keeps slipping you pieces of candy here and there.

Since the mutants don’t like to leave the mansion too much, you go trick or treating to everyone’s rooms. You see Scott, Jean, Charles, Hank, Remy& Anna, and so many more all dropping candy into your bag.

Storm walks along side you as you go. Smiling back to you as you show her each piece of candy you’ve gotten.

At the end of the night she becomes a bit lax and let’s you eat a couple of pieces from your bag while the two of you watch a fun Halloween movies like Hocus Pocus or Halloween town.

She also maybe sneaks a couple for herself.

The night ends with the two of you cuddle up together, sleeping peacefully on the couch as the end credits play on.

Starting with basic shit Akito is SO so in denial about his feelings and when he's finally fed up with it he chucks it down to infatuation (It is not)

If Akito confessed first, after a long moment of awkward silence and Akito wishing the floor would eat him alive, Tsukasa is suddenly hugging him and crying (That's a yes btw)

If Tsukasa confessed first, it would take a bit (probably a few days or weeks) but eventually Akito with the support of everyone finally accepts his feelings for Tsukasa (He didn't tell anyone about the confession btw it was probably Akiyama or one of Tsukasa's friends that told everyone also the threat of Rui was probably another reason he couldn't deny lmao)

Every date, and I mean EVERY SINGLE DATE, Tsukasa will always bring or buy some cheesecakes or pancakes for Akito

And if he doesn't the next time he brings lunch for Akito he'll bring him more cheesecake than he usually does to make up for it

When Tsukasa found out Akito's favorite flowers were sunflowers, he sometimes brings one for him too :D

Tsukasa probably got a pair of sunflower clip-on earrings too (Or whatever they're called)

Tsukasa loves to tackle hug Akito and it never fails to make the ginger laugh <3

Tsukasa borrows Akito's jackets a lot (At least twice a week).

Akito complains about it but let's be honest he loves it when he gets it back and all he smells on it is Tsukasa's scent

Tsukasa loves giving gifts to Akito even if there's no special occasion, usually some type of jewelry like earrings and the next day Akito's most likely wearing it

Obviously, they invite each other to their shows, and sometimes their other bandmates too

During WxS shows Akito's supportive and is internally loud but during VBS concerts Tsukasa is HOLLERING Akito's name and singing along if he knows the lyrics it's embarrassing but if you look closely enough you can tell it hypes up Akito a little more and he tries even harder (An has taken note of this and teases him nonstop about it)

Neither of them are a huge fan of PDA but if you stare long enough you'll probably miss a sneaky little kiss when you blink

That or if Tsukasa's in a really good mood he'll practically cling to Akito (Which is like 50% of the time tbh)

Whenever one of them stays up really late when staying over. the other tries to convince them to go to bed and cuddle/snuggle with them and it works.

I think this is my first yandere content, so I hope this works for you, anon. I also think you could probably write most of the characters as yanderes, so I just wrote for Levi and Belphie. I went with headcanons (how they would react if they found out MC was a yandere, what they would expect and want from MC, etc.). The more obsessive and possessive yandere!MC is, the more confident Levi will feel. At first, he’d be embarrassed by how much you love him – he might not even believe you. However, once he knows you’re just as into him as he is into you, it lights a fire in him. You need him, and he needs you.

He relishes your obsession, often begging for more. “Hug me tighter, hold me closer, kiss me more, MC.” He’ll demand your attention.

Levi feels so understood. He never imagined his affection would be reciprocated – and he certainly didn’t imagine your love would be as intense as his. He already feels creepy and weird, so if you can show him your creepy side, he feels more attracted to you. He wants you to show him your scariest, weirdest parts. He wants you to be so disturbing that no one else would want you so that he can keep you to himself. It’s only fair since you already have him all to yourself.

Yandere!Levi seems like the type to set up cameras in MC’s room and monitor them whenever he has a spare moment. He would find all your pictures of him and figure out all your dirty little secrets. It would be such a turn on, but he’d try to keep it a secret from you for as long as possible so he could savor it. What if you stopped doing everything you were doing if you knew he knew?

Yandere!MC would probably be pretty bad for Leviathan’s emotional and social development. He loves that you don’t want anyone else to talk to him or look at him, and your desire to keep him locked in his room is too easy to follow. You’re just giving him incentive to stay shut up in his room even more. You’re all he needs, right?

Unfortunately, MC can’t stay in his room with him all the time – even if they want to. It makes him insanely jealous. Levi wants to keep you locked up, too. Why can’t he monopolize you like you monopolize him?

Sometimes Levi has a day of online classes when MC still has to go to school. When he’s especially jealous, he can get a bit . . .dangerous. I wouldn’t put it past him to mildly poison you with a drink, just to force you to stay home. “It’s okay, right? I promise I’d never use something that would severely harm you. Besides, this means I’ll have to dote on you until you feel better. Don’t you want that?” He’d love watching your face twisted in pain as he pets you and lets the poison run its course. You’re enduring all of this just for him.

Levi would love for yandere!MC to kidnap him, even if it isn’t really possible for extended periods of time. Lucifer would find out eventually, but even if you could just keep him locked up for a few days, he’d be happy. Just imagining you focusing all your attention on him and keeping him to yourself makes him giddy.

NSFW

MC would steal Levi’s clothes – especially one’s that he has cosplayed in – and use it for their own perverted needs. At some point, they would get caught on Levi’s camera, touching themselves with his clothes and moaning his name. Levi wouldn’t be able to contain himself. Belphie is pleased that his intensity and obsession is reciprocated.

The more time you spend obsessing over Belphie, the happier he is. He wants to be the only one you ever think of, so if you spend every second of class staring at him and fantasizing about him, he’ll be overjoyed. And if you fail your classes because you can’t stop thinking of him, that’s wonderful. He’ll just have to tutor you and spend hours every week helping you study. He loves the idea that you can’t get through school because of him or without him. You need him just as much as he wants you.

Belphie would love it if yandere!MC would curse any witch or demon who calls him cute or touches him. After all, you’re not the only one who wants it so no one else can touch him but you.

He teaches you dream magic so you can invade his dreams like he does yours. He doesn’t want to dream of anyone else, anyway, but he loves that you would take advantage of him while he’s asleep.

Belphie starts to sleep in the attic with the door unlocked more often so it’s easier for you to watch him sleep. If he wakes up and you’ve got him restrained, that’s even better.

Whenever he gets injured, he offers to let you drink his blood. Likewise, whenever you get injured, he asks to drink your blood. That’s totally normal, right? He’s just trying to share.

Speaking of sharing, he will purposefully leave his lip balm in your room in the hope that you will use it just because it’s his. That way, he can steal it back from you and use it after you. You two will just end up stealing lip balm from each other until the tube is used up.

You two can also steal each other’s clothes. If yandere!MC isn’t bold enough to steal Belphie’s clothes from his closet, he’ll start leaving his clothes in their room to make it easier for them.

Belphegor will cook for you and place a few drops of his blood into your food/drinks. He’ll smile wide as he feeds it to you – knowing that you’re consuming part of him. Similarly, he would love for you to do the same thing for him. Please put love potions in his food and drinks – not that he needs a potion to love you. It makes him love you deeper, even after the effects of the potion wear off. Everything you do to try to make him love you more is working.

Belphie will carve his name into your skin while fucking you (with his claws or with a knife). Knowing that you’re perfectly happy to be marked by him only makes it more enjoyable. You can carve him too – if you want. He wants to prove that you are his and he is yours.

I DONT WRITE GOOD ROMANCE BUT LIKE UGH IMAGINE IT NOW. Alastor definitely just got himself to the V’s tower and was planning on fucking with Vox only to see he had already been kinda pissed off. Alastor wouldn’t be as satisfied if he knew he didn’t cause the frustration. He realized he could just stir the pot again. Problem solved, and what better way to solve it than using his weakness against him.. being tickled.

I’m being a little silly but genuinely Vox is so ticklish. Like most ticklish person in hell would go to him if it were an official title. That’s what I’m thinking. That being said, Alastor also knows how quickly he could get him to crumble… but wouldn’t it be more fun to take it slow.

Vox notices his presence almost immediately. He tried to ignore it as he feels his face get warm. He can’t fuck this up. He takes a deep breath and turns around. “Why hello, Alastor! What brings you to our building this evening?” He said in a semi newcaster voice. He wasn’t ready to drop the act

“Well Vox, I came here for a reason of my own but then I walked by your office and you looked so sad!” He began to walk closer to Vox. “You know, t they say you’re never fully dressed without a smile!”

Vox let out a laugh that was quite clearly untruthful. “Yes Alastor I am aware! I was alone in here and so I figured I’d just save up some energy. I’m sure you understand.”

“Quite frankly I don’t,” Alastor paused, “I think maybe I could help you get that smile back.”

Vox didn’t even have to think. He knew Alastor meant he was going to tickle him. You could ask Velvette. She’s seen those two in tickle fights that lasted for DAYS. she knows what they’re capable of, or more so what Alastor is capable of.

Vox puts up a fight for maybe a couple seconds but he just loves tickles more than he can play pretend that he doesn’t <3

It works out well for them both, Alastor gets to fuck around with Vox and well, Vox gets his shit rocked!!! And he loves that more than a lot of things.

This song is about two people who love each other but recognize that their relationship isn't working anymore, and the fear of having to admit that and move on. This reminds me of the tragedy of Owen and Gwyn because they've always loved each other, you can even say they were soulmates, but in the end they couldn't salvage what they once had.

In season 1, TK had to learn to stop relying on other people's (Alex) opinions of him. He had to learn to love himself and recognize that he's worthy of being loved as well. This song is a very powerful representation of that journey, and allowing yourself to understand your flaws while also knowing that you're not a mistake. This song definitely applies to Carlos as well.

It’s the Greatest Pumpkin Doctor Who!🎃 (SFW!)

Cargiver! 11th Doctor & GN Little! Reader with Caregiver! Amy Pond and Caregiver! Rory Williams

“Amy I promise they are going to be alright!” The Doctor repeated for about the fifth time.

Amy and Rory were invited to a Halloween party and while they would’ve invited their Little one Y/N to join, they were not feeling up to a crowded party with people drinking and loud music.

So the Doctor offered his himself to be babysitter for the night, dressed like an actual doctor as a joke. But Amy, being the worried Mama she is, felt the need to keep telling the Doctor where everything is.

“They have all their supplies in here. Anything and everything they could need.” She points to a basket in the living room.

Amy was dressed as a police officer, Rory as a prisoner. Y/N dressed up as Paddington the bear, complete with the blue rain coat, red boots and a red rain hat with bear ears.

“Amy, you’ve already told me this. It has their blankie, their sippy cup, a diaper and change of clothes incase of an accident, snacks, a pacifier-.” The Doctor rambled off.

“I know, I know.” She sighed. “I’m sorry. I just haven’t left them without me since they became my little one.” She looked into the kitchen where Rory was putting the last of their face paint on. “And it’s not that I don’t trust you! It’s just-.”

“That you haven’t been away from them, I know Amy.” He rest a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “I promise I will take good care of them. I plan a simple evening inside together anyway. Just pumpkin carving and some movies and then straight to bed.”

“Doctor, I almost forgot. They won’t fall asleep in their own bed. They have to sleep next to someone.” She reminds him, “They’re afraid when they’re regressed of sleeping by themselves.”

The Doctor takes this in, really listening to this. “I’ll make sure to stay close when they do fall asleep then.” He says, away from his usual lighthearted demeanor and and instead sincere.

“Thank you, now let me show you-.”

“Mama!!” Y/N runs around the corner in their Paddington costume to show Amy. “Look! Papa made me a bear nose!”

Amy smiles and gasp at the sight, “Oh my Goodness! Look at my little baby bear.” She takes their hand and show them off to the Doctor.

“Doctor! Like it?!” They smile to him.

“Like it?! I didn’t even recognize for a minute there! I thought a bear had walked in!” He leans down and picks them up into his arms.

I giggle, holding onto the Doctor as he held me in his arms. His outfit was ridiculous. He wore a stethoscope, a long doctor’s coat and a shinny circle thing on his head.

Papa joined the group of us in the living room. Dressed in black and white stripes. “It was simple really. Though someone couldn’t stop giggling when I did their nose.”

I smiled and hid my face. The Doctor laughs, “Papa is silly isn’t he? Wearing his Zebra costume.”

Rory looks at the Doctor confused, “I’m a prisoner….she’s the police.”

“Really? I thought you looked more like a Zebra.” The Doctor replies.

I can’t help but giggle even more. The Doctor smiles back, “Doesn’t Papa look like a Zebra?”

I look to Papa and then hide my face against the Doctor, giggling some more.

Papa sigh, “Guess I’m a zebra tonight.”

Mama smiles, “And a handsome one at that.” She leans over and kisses him.

“Ew! Okay, you two better get going.” The Doctor says, breaking up their kiss.

“NO!” I cry, putting my arms out to them, “Don’t go!” Tears start to well up in my eyes at the thought of them leaving.

Papa looking especially guilty, talking me into his arms. He bounces me as Mama rubs my back. “Don’t worry sweetheart! We’ll back as soon as you know it! There’s no need to be sad. We’ll see you at bedtime.”

Papa kisses my forehead, then Mama. He sets me back down.

I look to Mama still upset. She kneels down and wipes the tears away, “You’re going to have so much fun tonight! The Doctor told me you’re carving pumpkins tonight!”

“That was supposed to be a surprise!“ The Doctor whines.

Amy playfully rolls her eyes, “I can’t wait to see what your pumpkin looks like. Make it extra spooky!” She makes a funny voice at the end that pulls a small giggle from me.

“Have fun together! And if you need me, ask the Doctor to call me okay? I’ll have my phone on me all night just incase.” Mama leans towards and kisses my cheek. “Love you so much my little bear.”

Rory look to the Doctor, “And not that much sugar! It’s too late for candy.”

Both the Doctor and Y/N whine.

“Rory lighten up, it’s Halloween. A few pieces of candy can’t hurt.” The Doctor argues.

“You hear me Doctor.” He warns.

“Alright alright Zebra. No candy. Enjoy the party.” He says but winks to me.

After a heart felt goodbye, Amy and Rory leave for their party. Leaving the Doctor and I alone to do whatever we wanted.

I sigh though, looking out the window to their car leaving the driveway.

“Come on Y/N! We have a night of fun ahead of us!” The Doctor smiles and offers his hand. I turn back to him and take his offered hand, the fun starting from here.

“Now, your Papa said no candy…but he didn’t say no sugar.” We walk into the backyard and immediately into the Tardis. “So! I have just the compromise!”

He lets go of my hand for a moment while I stand by the console. I hear him go down the hallway and when he returns he has a platter of Halloween cupcakes.

I gasp, taking one off the tray. “Papa didn’t say anything about cupcakes!”

The Doctor smiles, “No he did not.” He winks eating one too.

We sit on the small Tardis chair beside one another and eat about two cupcakes each before we both start to get a sugar high.

The Doctor smile, “So! I have a brilliant idea! Instead of carving two regular size pumpkins…I was think we could carve…A GIANT PUMPKIN!!”

I jump up from the chair, “YES!! GIANT PUMPKIN!!”

The Doctor stand too, clapping his hands with excitement. “Yes!! Alright, let me grab something first.”

The two of us go down the stairs and underneath the Tardis console. He digs around in a trunk and pulls out a little packet of seeds. “This will do the trick!”

Then, hand in hand again, we run out of the Tardis and into the backyard. “Alright, step back. I don’t know how big this is going to grow…”

I step back as the Doctor leans down and starts putting the seeds in the ground. He stands back with me and smile, “Just wait!”

And we stand there and wait.

And wait.

And wait…

I pull on the Doctor’s sleeve. “When is it going to happen?”

“I don’t know…” he takes his sonic out and scans the ground. “What are we doing wrong?”

“Wait!” I suddenly realize the issue! I run over to the back shed and grabs the my water can. I sprinkled the water over the spot we planted the seed and wait.

“Excellent idea Y/N! Where did you learn to garden so well?” He asks, wrapping an arm around them.

“Mama taught me! She’s really good! She told me that-.”

Suddenly the ground starts shaking. Then BOOM! Out from the ground starts to grow this massive pumpkin that keeps getting bigger and bigger!

And bigger!

AND BIGGER!

“Doctor…” I start backing up.

Suddenly it stops growing, but by the time it does it’s about the size of the house. I look up at it in awe as the Doctor wears a big smile.

“I wasn’t lying when I said giant pumpkin.”

“You weren’t!! Wow!! It’s gigantic!!” I yell happily. “How are we going to carve it?!”

“Oh that’s easy! The Tardis will do the work for us! All we have to is make a design it.”

Once again we walk into the Tardis and start brainstorming designs. Once we found one we like we set the Tardis to work!

The outside of the Tardis spins really fast and starts to carve the outside while we watch, not spinning on the inside. After it’s done, The Tardis takes off and lands inside of it, acting as the pumpkin’s candle.

I run outside the doors of the Tardis and look from the inside of the giant pumpkin. “Wow!!” My eyes practically glow.

“Wow!! He steps out and admire the work, “Amazing design!! Now you’ve brought our pumpkin to life!”

I smile back to him and giggle. He wraps an arm around my shoulders.

I go to touch the pumpkin but I take two steps before my red boot steps in a bunch of pumpkin insides. “Ew…”

“I know it’s always gross but…” he picks some of it up, “I bet we can cook this and make more desserts. What do you say Y/N?” He smirk, “The night is still young!”

Amy and Rory carefully open the front door to their cottage home, hoping not to wake their Little one. “Doctor?” Amy whispers as she comes in.

“In here!” The Doctor calls back from the living room.

Amy and Rory walk in the living room to find Y/N peacefully sleeping with their blankie in hand, cuddling close to the Doctor. The Doctor had a big blanket wrapped around the two them, while the tv softly plays old Halloween cartoons. Littered across the table were plates of half eaten pumpkin desserts.

“Someone had an eventful night. How were they?” Amy asked, smiling at her little one.

“Oh they were a joy as always. We had tons of fun. We carved a pumpkin, baked some desserts,”

“What did I say about sweets…” Rory sighs.

“You said no candy, nothing about dessert.” The Doctor quickly replies.

Amy smirks, “You’ve got him there.” She chuckles.

“Where’s your pumpkins?” Rory asked to change the subject.

“Oh in the backyard.” The Doctor replied casually.

As Rory went to see in the backyard, The Doctor and Amy continued their conversation.

“So they gave you no fuss?”

“No fuss at all. Well…maybe a little when I cut off eating desserts for the rest of the night. But that was an easy fix with a quick sippy cup.”

“Amy?….” Rory calls from the back.

“But then after that we started watching some cartoons and they fell asleep right after that.”

“…Amy?”

“Did they miss us?” Amy asks.

“Just a little in the beginning, but I was able to help them past it.”

Rory runs into the living room, “There is a giant pumpkin in our backyard!” Rory whisper yells.

“What?!” Amy follows him to the backyards.

All while the Doctor smirks to himself and gently rubs Y/N’s arm. “Happy Halloween little one.” And with a little kiss to their forehead that ends a perfect Halloween night.

I only recently got into proshipping but I've been lurking for a while and have been anti censorship forever. I wouldn't really consider myself a proshipper, at least I don't feel like it? but I made an entirely separate blog just for this stuff. Do you have any tips for new proshippers? /nf

my best advice i always try to let people know is that proship is not a verb or a genre, its a stance. and you dont have to ship dead dove to be a proshipper, you just have to be like "yeah you can ship that stuff idc" even if its not your cup of tea. think of kink tomato (ykinmkato or your kink is not my kink and thats okay). even if you do that, you dont always cmhave to call yourself a proshipper. there are other labels out there that are similar to proship but arent.. yk, proship (anti-anti is the only one i can think of currently). if you want to interact with the community, the community is very welcoming and will be okay even if you dont feel as though you align with the term or rven were an ex-anti, as long as youre now respectful to those who do label themselves as such. if youre more on the sensitive side, i really recommend ignoring antis who try to argue with you because 99% of the time, itll just be like a cat chasing their own tail. another thing i recommend is also going through anti tags and blocking people or at the very least try to filter those tags out (i can give examples of tags if need be)

and of course, you are allowed to block anyone you please, anti or not. i always recommend to even antis aswell to block people you dont like or dont vibe with because its more of like a quality of life thing (for me atleast).

at the end of the day though, there is no right or wrong way to be proship. using the label is completely up to you and its not somethhing thats obligated or a choice forced upon you for this entire community is basically built upon discourse that doesnt really matter as much to the real world. thats my take on it though, sorry if this wasnt worded very well i kinda wrote this in a rush so hopefully you understand what im trying to say. anyone that would like to suggest advice for op is welcome to in the reblogs or comments

Advice/tips time YIPPEEE

HAVE FUN!! Be as indulgent as you want, make anyone as powerful as you want, break the rules of pmd even! Bonus points if you incorporate that into ✨️lore✨️ HEHEE

On the topic of having fun, be gentle with yerself :3 ye're taking up a big project, so cut corners if you need/want to!! You can always redo it later!! Like how Team Donum started off with extremely simple coloring!! That was to actually let myself get the pages put out there >:3

Running an ask blog can be hard, cause a lot of it relies on the audience to send asks! So to get around that: always have a fun plan to do if you get too little asks or none >:3c asking friends to help if they can (in sending asks) can be fun too!!

You can always give hints about what kinds of asks will push the story forward/reveal LORE!! Very normal for ask blogs to do, I think they're called ask hints? Hmm doesn't sound quite right but it's something like that!!

Make sure you have good organization!! I used to reblog pmd things to my ask blog, but that cluttered it a bit fgdb. So now I reblog those to my main, and keep everything Team Donum related on the blog teehee!!

Sometimes working on pages/answers will sound not fun, but if you think that you want it to be done still, gently get yourself to still make the page! It's okay if it's not fun at first, cause usually it becomes fun by the end!

But if it DOESN'T become fun, consider taking a break and/or doodling your characters! Figuring out how to make it fun will be yer task when this happens, and I'm certain you can do it >:3!! (And sometimes all that is required is just a break hehee!!)

For me, having deadlines really helps me motivate myself to make pages! Especially with only posting twice a week: that means I can have a really good backlog!

Speaking of backlogs!! Before you start, make sure you have a good backlog :D it helps with keeping it fun, and it also just feels really nice :3 (and ✨️professional✨️)

This part's hard, but if you ever get an ask that upsets you/messes with your story way too much (like godmodding), just ignore it. You don't need to answer every ask, especially if it would create tension between you and the askers. You want both sides to be having fun!! <333

Usually this doesn't happen though! Almost all the time the askers are real sweeties <333

I'm sorry I've been haunting your asks lately, but imma do it again.

I think I remember you saying you're a manga person, but can't remember if you ever mentioned watching opla. There have been little changes to character here and there - some parts elaborated on or emphasized and others cut. Is there any change you'd like to see in Buggy, Shanks, or shuggy's story compared to the manga? What direction would you want opla to take for them going forward?

i have seen opla! not posted about it much, but i do have an opla tag. it’s been a while since i reread romance dawn, but shanks feels fairly consistent between the manga and live action, at least so far. buggy, though…

i think the things opla did with buggy are interesting—as @goingbuggy said in their post about opla ep 2, the show really downplays buggy’s greed/treasure motivation and foregrounds the violent paranoia and abandonment issues. and it makes sense! the goofy “buggy’s so treasure-hungry he wanders directly into a marine base” gags won’t play well to the nf crowd, so they might as well lean in on the edgy murderclown vibes.

and on a structural level, since a show like this isn’t going to let us hear character thoughts, buggy has to be more honest in a number of ways (his crew is a place for outcasts and freaks and he welcomes luffy to join them; he says outright that he’s gonna be the pirate king! he’ll be the pirate king and then everyone will love him!!), but at the same time he’s either a bigger liar or deluding himself in others (sorry, shanks abandoned you? how. what definition of abandonment are you using). not sure how i feel about these changes, but for the moment i’m happy to wait and see how things develop.

as for modifications i’d like to see made to the characters or story…

i know they had a young buggy cast for season one, presumably to be part of the roguetown execution crowd alongside young shanks… maybe they can still make use of those guys?

i know, suggesting that opla should do the roguetown breakup flashback in season two when the anime is on season 21 and hasn’t gotten there yet (though i think it’s gonna happen soon? like. within the next month or two?? omg hbd to me) is kinda nuts, but the devil fruit/map flashback doesn’t make sense when they’ve downplayed the importance of treasure in buggy’s motivations, and we’ll be seeing buggy in roguetown anyway. so why not add some emotion to the “if you want to be pirate king so bad, how about i kill you where the pirate king died?” moment? let’s get a flashback to the last execution buggy witnessed in roguetown as he tries to execute luffy!

i can’t think of anything else just yet. opla is so far away from major events involving either buggy or shanks, i’d like to wait and see what modifications they make to alabasta et al before i start to speculate about modifications made to impel down or marineford.
