the number of times I’ve followed a tiktok fic rec link only to find out the account has me blocked on tumblr is…higher than I thought it would be, that’s for sure.

Okay, so it was a month since my last BATFAMILY fic recs set, but in my defense a) huge life changes and b) I did a quick count up of how many recs I had built up and it was literally well over a million words. A million words! In one recs set! And this is like the seventh one of these that I've done! And I still have at least a thousand fics on my reader that I haven't started! Because this fandom has seriously not just consumed my brain, but given me absolutely amazing stuff to read that scratches all the itches I desperately have--well, okay, scratches the itch I have for my Dick Grayson Problem, but same thing.

I've really needed some escapism lately and being able to laugh or cry or just sink into a nice, long novella or even novel-length fic has really been a godsend has done a lot to soothe me and help me process feelings that sometimes otherwise can feel too overwhelming to deal with. All while also giving me the exploration of issues or decompression time with the characters' issues that the canon itself doesn't have the space for. So, I hope this list can give others something to read in the way it has given me so much that I've loved and brought me joy or emotional catharsis, because fandom has been really incredible about Bringing The Good Stuff and I want to repay the favor!

The more Jazz and Danny try to avoid the Bats, the more they seem to meet, and Danny and Jazz figure that this can only lead to conflict.

Jazz is excited to start a new job in a city that has never heard of the Fenton’s. So what if they have raving psychopaths and people dressing up in tights to fight them, at least she doesn’t have to deal with ghosts. But, why did her new neighbor trigger her brother’s ghost sense? And why does she feel like she’s falling for the mysterious vigilante that crashed through her window one night?

Plus with the blessing from the Ghost of Gotham and knowing that even the GIW wouldn't dare to encroach on Batman's territory, it was a pretty safe plan. That was until a certain vigilante just keeps on finding himself in their dumpster. 

Crying Is Okay  T SERIES 

I will change the summary when I get a better idea I am winging this, but so far it's about what happens if Danny goes to University in Gotham and gets a job at Arkham. 

Rifts  T 

As a general rule, just when you thought it couldn't get worse it suddenly did. This is something the Fenton siblings knew from experience. The thing is, normally her brother is the one who puts them on the spot. This isn’t one of those times, and Jazz just knows that she will never get Danny to shut up about it. ...If they ever get to see each other again, of course. 

There Will Come A Soldier  T 9,644 

Jason jumps to defend a woman getting mugged but she uh...doesn't need the help. She appreciates the heart-eyes he shoots her, though. 

The Business Of Family  T 

Things are not well in Amity Park. With the GIW getting more and more aggressive and their parents becoming ever more suspicious of Danny each day that passes, Jazz knows that they're running out of time. It's not safe, and their options are painfully limited. Out of sheer dumb luck or a little intervention from Clockwork, she manages to discover a distant relative that just might be their salvation. If asked Oswald Cobblepot would say that it's just good business. Adopting a few kids had done wonders for Bruce Wayne's reputation, why not his? It's not like he can't afford to put them somewhere out of the way if they get to be a problem. It's just business. Nothing more. 

Advent Reunion  G 4,765 SERIES 

Danny was gone. The GIW had wrecked his core and Jazz was left grieving with her family and friends, all devastated. They hunted the monsters that destroyed her brother, hunted them all the way to the Himalayas and destroyed the Guys in White but Jazz felt like it was a hollowed out victory. Grieving and anguished she stole Vlad's booze and wander off, runs into a guy hiding a body and deciding to spend a weekend running amok with "Jason" (a nice jerk that left without even saying goodbye and who she really should not have developed feelings for). Then she discovered she was pregnant, and Clockwork told her he had placed Danny's ruined core in her so he could be reborn. Skip nearly seven years later and Jazz is the mother of a rambunctious six (and a half!) year old boy who is the reincarnate of her brother and she just moved to Gotham with her family to go to school. Jason meanwhile runs into a kid that tries to steal his wheel and pay for it with coco, a duck candle and a literal piggy bank... and then reunites with a blast from his past... and she has a tinier version of him attached to her hip.

The Blob  T 

Tim sees a floating green blob and believes it is a delusion, but it is actually a ghost, one of the victims of the murderer he caught. The blob ghost latched on to him and refuses to leave. As Tim finally admits to himself that it's real, more blob ghosts attach themselves to Tim, hoping he will catch their murderer too. Finally, his family notices that something is amiss with him and attempts to figure out what is wrong. Meanwhile, Danny in the Ghost Zone hears that there is a human, in the living realm, that the blob ghost can't stop praising.

Danny didn’t have a lot to his name. He arrived in Gotham 2 years ago lost and confused. He knew he was a king. He knew he was a halfa, and he knew that he ruled all of the infinite realms. But the harsh realities of Gotham also kept him on his toes as he tries to ignore his past. Nothing from before the age of 14 but electricity down his spine, A sister whom he loved, and an apparent complaint of his newfound lack of Empathy because of it. Danny had avoided the infamous Bats for too long but as the ghosts start to delve into the world once more moaning for the Phantom, and a family edging on being a gang. He finds himself far too close to the vigillante’s and Batman than he really wants to find himself. And as his world collapses in on itself, maybe he needs someone to catch him for once. Someone he never expected.

Now only if this mercenary didn't look so hot while kicking goons' butts, that would've been really nice.

Danny's trying to recover all the shards to an entity's chalice so that it'll stop destroying the zone while tensions rise amongst his subjects- and trying to finish high school. Tim's juggling his case load, his work as CEO, and does not have time to be embroiled in a sex scandal right now. If that means he has to pretend to date a very suspicious heir to a rival company, then so be it. It's a mutually beneficial relationship. So what if Tim's becoming a little too intrigued by the illusive, powerful Phantom? So what if Danny can't stand the Justice League for leaving him to deal with all of Amity's problems when he was just 14? That's a superhero thing. And their fake boyfriend has no clue that they're a superhero. 

Ghosts Don't Go To High School  T 

Danny Fenton is having a good day, really. It's his birthday and the ghosts were leaving him alone for once! Then his parents discover his blood is contaminated with ectoplasm and move him halfway across the country to Gotham City! I was going to recommend a fic but then I realized it was a Dick x Reader fic, BUT another one did come into mind for me! I've been getting into Spiderman as well and stumbled a spiderverse x dc fic. It's really good! How the author changes POVs are so smooth and there are very funny moments in them!

Overall, I did enjoy the POV switch a lot! There's a lot of great build-up to Spiderwoman and Red Hood interacting. I adore how there's scenes of the Batfamily talking to each other. I love some good world building, fr. It's a very interesting au, and I picked out my favorite parts from chapter one below the cut!

Devastating opener, I can see it all happening. The readers' version of Gwen Stacy looking up towards them, trusting but knowing it's too late. Heartbreaking.

"The reason why you were even transferred here was because of the crystal clear pictures you had taken of Spider Women"

This whole paragraph reads so much like something Peter Parker would go through! Like, yeah, the readers absolutely a Spidersona and they are going through it.

I ended up reading the whole thing cause I wanted to see their Jason 👀

In chapter two, the part where Babs asks him about going to Damian's birthday party feels so real. Like, yes, he wants to see his family, but also, it's the anxiety of it all. Will there be a fight? A lecture? Does he still have a place with them?

Jason's pretty abrasive outwardly throughout the fic, which is totally fair and valid. But you can tell that he cares. The reader takes it on the chin and throws around jokes of their own. It's silly and fun to see them dance around each other!

I also loved the absolute chaos of everyone reacting to Spiderwoman being in Gotham instead of New York! Had me shaking my head and giggling.

Hello Anon! :D Don't take this the wrong way but I am giddy with excitement right now because I've been talking about this with friends and I am just squealing now that I get to ramble about it.

Now just to clarify, I'll probably use tropes more so than specific fics, because for one, I don't want to step on any author's toes. And two, I like those fics as they are and do not want to dirty them with my grubby hands. However! I can still give fic recs so you can get an idea of the kind of AU I'm talking about here. lol Not that you're fishing for them ofc, no not at all

DC Fics, Now With a Splash of ectoplasm DP

Stray Tim AU

He's technically also known as Catlad, but like- I prefer Stray (as if that isn't obvious by my Stray!Danny AU XD), but that's neither here nor there. In this AU, if the name didn't explain enough, he apprentices underneath Selina as her apprentice. Depending on the author's choice, it's either as a young child or after he leaves the Batfamily for one reason or another.

An example of this AU: timcat by drakefeathers. This fic actually got recommended to me earlier today (you know who you are) and it is so cute. He is so baby and I love him.

2. Reverse Robins AU

Now this is an AU I've talked about frequently, but for good reason. There are so many ways you can write this idea- Hell, can you imagine a Demon Twins AU with Reverse Robins- Hold on a sec, let me add a WIP to my spreadsheet...

Okay, back. Anyways, where was I? Oh right, REVERSE ROBINS! In this AU, Damian is actually the oldest Batkid, and Dick is the youngest. Depending on the AU, Dick can even be an ex-Talon, so just keep that in mind~ Almost unanimously, Tim is the Batkid that died instead of Jason, and becomes the Red Hood (sometimes he was Joker Junior in this AU as well which is... uh. If you look into those fics, make sure you read the tags religiously.)

An example for this AU: and oh, my heart (how can i face you now?) by weareallstardustfallen. And this fic is *chef's kiss* It's in Damian's POV, it's a gloriously long one-shot. I cannot recommend this enough.

3. Jason Todd Goes Home

There are multiple interpretations you can do with this AU. Sometimes he doesn't become Red Hood, sometimes he doesn't get dipped in the Lazarus Pit, it all really depends on what you want to do with it. I've technically written a fic with this idea, where Danny actually finds Jason and helps him claw out of his grave, subsequently returning him home. That fic is what was lost, found again. Five chapters, completed.

There are fics where Tim actually finds Jason first! Here's one called best laid plans by Valkirin. Highly recommend. Tim finds Jason first but then the League of Assassins find them too. >:3

On a different, yet similar note, we have a fic where Talia is actually a decent person and brings Jason back??? After dunking him in a Pit??? You love to see it. This one is Verdant by Cerusee.

DP Fics Now With DC Packing

Field Trip to the Ghost Zone

There are a decent number of these fics out there if you know where to find them. I feel like this one is self-explanatory, but basically- Danny's class takes either a planned or impromptu trip to the Ghost Zone. Very rarely does his secret identity survive the fallout. Now imagine if we put Damian's class on the school bus.

Some Gothamite kid, probably: "I don't remember The Magic School Bus going like this."

Marsalias' (in)famous Mortified is definitely one of them up there. They actually wrote a second field trip fic not long after completing Mortified, which is called School Bus in the Ghost Zone. So if you're in the process of reading Mortified, or maybe you can't commit to a long-form fic right now, this one might be for you.

Deathcomes4u also has two field trip fics you can read. One of them was for this year's Phic Phight called The Gloves Are Off. He-larious fic, cannot get enough of it. Also includes some very fun DP headcanons! The second is called The Trip. You're gonna want to read the tags before you explore this one, but what's up so far a very thrilling read.

There is also Stranded With My Class, but this one is on FF.net so you might want to turn on ALL your adblockers before you venture into that site.

2. Death Day :3

I've written a chapter about this in lex luthor's ascent but it's part of a larger plot so I hope no one feels pressured to read it. But in general this fic idea can be very heavy, BE CAREFUL if you explore it. You can have DC characters react to Danny's death day, you can give Jason or Damian or Cass- or pretty much any resurrected DC character you like- a death day. Spread the whump and angst, that's how we show our love.

Here is an example, also from Deathcomes4u: Anniversary. I really enjoy how this author writes the background characters as well. It's got a splash of humor and the Everlasting Trio makes me all soft. :')

Death Day Evolution by gamma_radio has some great worldbuilding and lore added to the concept. I love how they tied Danny gets new powers in this fic, and you gotta love the Cryptid Danny Fenton energy. XD

3. Partial Identity Reveals

Now this one is more self-indulgent for me, but I'm allowed to do that. XD I would've put simply Cryptid Danny, but it encompasses a little more than that in most cases, which is why I kept this title for it instead.

These are fics where Danny is revealed or shown to be Off™ somewhat, but in most cases they don't know the full extent of his secret identity. Most of the time it's just his powers or that he's not fully human, what have you. I love a good bombastic identity reveal, you know, but something about the subtler ones are more inspirational, if you will. lol

I think this is the type of AU that would suit a Batman detective story much more, and allows the DC characters more time and interaction into this new world- if you will- rather than throwing them straight in it. Does that make sense? I hope that makes sense.

Shots Fired by RedGhost1010 is an exceptional fic (I believe this author is also the person who writes Stranded with My Class, mentioned earlier, just uses a different pen name on Ao3). However, please read the tags for it before you do. This fic can be triggering for some people. They also write what is probably my favorite Bad Parent Jack and Maddie fic, which is called Humans and Ghosts. Another one you probably should read the tags for. But please check out their other fics; I enjoy so many of them, but unfortunately not all of them fit this fic rec description. :\

Finally we have It's Like Time Stops by anthrop. I cannot tell you how many times I reread this fic way back when. It's a very tasty Outsider POV fic that gives a view into how things changed after the Accident, and it's a good study into how his classmates would have perceived it.

Friday Fic Recs

Some ongoing/incomplete fics I've been reading this time around, exclusively batfamily and dp x dc in no particular order. Quick note: this was written and queued in mid-August but I don't think any of them will be finished by the time it goes out.

Battinson gets a Robin, as he should. Full disclosure, I have not seen the movie yet, it is on my list. That said this is such a wonderful look at all of these characters. Dick is delightfully insightful and emotional and smart. Writing children is hard and this fic definitely hits what I consider fundamental and essential: treating them as humans with thoughts and feelings above anything else. Bruce is competent and struggling and I love how he tries. The relationships are wonderfully thought out and I've loved watching them develop over the fic so far.

Some Who Wander by LeafyNib - Tim & Jason, Tim & Damian, Tim & Bruce, Bruce & Damian

Reverse Robins! I'm not a Reverse Robins person normally so let me tell you this is a good reverse robins fic. It follows a resurrected angsty Tim, sad about Tim's death Bruce and Damian, and of course, very excited and tiny Jason who's got himself a brand new brother! I love the thought put into it all. Tim isn't just a colder version of Red Hood, he has his own hangups and flaws that make sense for his character. Damian is going through it the poor lad and honestly so is Bruce. Jason is adorable and trouble and smart which I always love. Tim and Jason are a really fun duo! It's a great time so far!

The Business of Family by Spaced_Ace - Oswald Cobblepot & Jazz Fenton & Danny Fenton

There are some fascinating AUs happening in the DP x DC fandom. This one has Oswald Cobblepot as a distant relative of the Fenton kids and maybe their last shot out of Amity before it's too late. There's a lot of scheming happening on all sides, especially the kids, Oswald is mostly just horrified and hoping this helps his PR issues. The way Danny and Jazz's abuse shapes each of their actions is interesting. The worldbuilding is really intriguing and the POV switches are fun as we get to see different perspectives.

Yes! I'm less well-versed with Jason fics, so a lot of these don't have him as the main character, but they do focus on him and don't have pit madness!

The Flightless Birds series by Ionaperidot - Alt!Bruce meets a Bruce with kids, and starts picking them up from different dimensions. Includes catatonic!Jason, JJ!Tim, Talon!Dick, assassin!Damian and assassin!Cass. It's really beautifully written and a good long read!

Hey there ghosts, it's me, ya Robin by SummerBummin - Tim can see ghosts. Jason is dead. Cue Jason bothering Tim and trying to help his dad from self-destructing.

Say Uncle by @megaerakles - Tim needs a fake uncle and chooses Jason as the best option. I don't remember this having Lazarus Pit Madness, but if it does show up, then I apologise! EDIT: the author reblogged this and wrote in the tags that there isn’t any Pit Madness, apart from some lines that could be interpreted that way, but it wasn’t written to purposefully suggest it. Thank you so much for the info! (and for writing the fic!!!)

Now you will not swell the rout/Of lads that wore their honours out by SonoSvegliato - Tim needs to learn how to fight properly, but Bruce refuses to let him learn properly. Cue him getting into street fights, where a mysterious stranger gives tips and heckles him.

Like the fucking chipmunk? by Sunpops1 - Before Ethopia, Jason receives a strange package warning him not to trust Sheila. The weirdness of it keeps him in Gotham to investigate who their stalker may be.

Game Over [Would you like to reload from your last checkpoint?] by tyrianzzz - The batsons get tossed through time and find themselves back as their younger selves. I can't remember if Jason had Lazarus Pit Madness, but his old body doesn't, so it hasn't really shown up iirc.

The Power of Family and This Stalker I Found by JackHawksmoor - Bruce finds Jason after he crawls out of the grave, and looks at how Tim might have joined the BatFamily anyway.

If he had been stronger, faster, better with his quirk, he would have been able to get her out of their faster, save her right when she first ran into him instead of so much later. Sir Nighteye was right about him not deserving— Problem Child? comes Aizawa-sensei’s voice. He sounds tired and a bit irritated, as always, but beneath that there’s a layer of sheer incredulity. Problem Child? his voice comes again. This time Izuku finally recognizes where it’s coming from— his own head. He can feel a sharp, painful jolt of panic physically stabbing through his chest, and he can’t help but bite back an emphatic shit.

Or: While visiting Eri at the hospital following her rescue from the Shie Hassaikai, Izuku and Aizawa-sensei both run into a nurse with a telepathy based quirk, and Izuku finds himself in a telepathic bond with his teacher. This is... somewhat worrying, considering how many secrets Izuku needs to keep.

A bit of a character study, a bit of me trying to wraggle different, often contradictory canons into one story about Selina making a place for herself in the Batfamily one Robin at a time. I liked writing this and I do like how some part turned out.

In Dreams You Lose Your Heartaches - Puzzleshipping, YGO, ~93k words

A rather odd mix of cinderella motifs woven into the YGO lore. I took my time with secondary characters here and I could come up with different games and riddles the characters used to test each other. In hindsight politics could have been done better, and I am sure there are some rather awkward phrases here and there, plus this is a story that broke my poor little heart once upon a time, but it made it all the more dear to me, since I did finish it after all, and some dialogues there are brilliant, if I do say so myself.

A crack about Dumbledore being a jealous, suspicious bitch that morphed into an actual canon divergence au with a happy ending. Yeah, don't ask me how that happened, but I am very fond of this story till this day.

Steampunk au with all the sads. I wrote it while deeply in love with Asian steampunk as a concept and Weilan fit the uneasy, changing world of magic and science all too well. Plus it's inspired by one of my favourite songs, so it's double pleasant whenever I re-read it.

Ao3 is a sad place for Kon fans because most of his contents come from timkon and even then it's mainly focus on Tim or batfam. Would be nice to see him with the superfam 😔

ikr! i complained about it to my friend before, because look at this:

there are five members of the batfamily before clark. and when it comes to the superfam no one else but clark even makes it into the top 10 characters that appear in kon's tag.

i'm so tired of fanfics treating kon like he's tim's accessory. it makes it very hard for me to like timkon which i actually used to like (when i was a teenager, which i think also explains this sentiment.)

but also there's very little superfam content in general, which breaks my heart, because while i don't post about it much rn, i actually got into comics initially through superman content. and there's so much potential. i have two kon-centric wips that focus on his familial relationships myself, but i'm very slow. and i'd rather read them than write them myself.

anyway anon if you know any good superfam fics with kon (or want recs, although i can think of only like 3 rn?) let me know, we are collectively starving, gotta help each other out.

a heart just cant contain all of this empty space by TheMermaidLord (if anyone knows their tumblr, please let me know!) ~27k. the young justice universe, except after season 1, the canon events of the batfamily get woven in. you get to see dick leaving robin, jason joining then dying, how tim first meets the team, how they react to learning jason’s alive again all through the eyes of the yj team (mainly artemis, wally, and dick, but there are others.) this fic is beautiful and heartbreaking and oh so satisfying.

Candle Light and Plastic Bats by @jackdaw-kraai 10k. you know all those hc and concept fics about the relationship batman has with the city of gotham? well this fic is an absolutely gorgeous homage to that. told from the pov of the people of lower gotham, it goes through their relationship with this demon that seemed to haunt their city, going from mistrust and fear to acceptance and kinship. just a really really beautiful fic. 

Detective Work by @bekkoni ~8k. i don’t actually ship superbat for a multitude of reasons, but this fic was so goddamn hilarious and cute that i can’t not love it. set in the jlu universe, wally discovers that superman and batman are acting a little ~odd.~ then he does a little more snooping and dear god the consequences are hilarious. featuring identity porn by the bucket-load. 

It’s Your Right to Hurt Me Baby (If You Wanted To) by @pluckyredhead  8k. granted, jayroy doesn’t make much sense outside of specific rhato runs, but inside those runs its an actually beautiful ship, and this fic is just one of many testaments to that. smut with feelings, and jason gets the love and affection he sorely needs. 

Little Talks by @theo-ography 26k. who here doesn’t love dumb boys in love finally talking about their feelings?? because i love it more than words, but this author somehow did the impossible and managed to put it in words. in this series, dick and wally have some important conversations, do some cuddling, and finally get together. gosh, i love birdflash so. fucking. much. 

The Maybe Man by @dustorange ~48k. this is me, screaming about dustorange’s works again because i am such a fangirl for her writing oh my god. after dick leaves bruce and while jason is robin, dick gets abducted and tortured by the court of owls, and then is sent to kill bruce. and bruce fights with every fiber of his being to get his son back. also, jason and bruce’s relationship is so good in this jesus christ. i love reading fics that show just how close jason and bruce were before jason was killed, and this fic had that and more. 

Those Who Wait by @last01standing 11k. in a reverse robins fic done beautifully well, this entire fic is written from jon’s pov, and explores damian and jon’s relationship over the years. (basically, jon just falling more and more hopelessly in love with damian.) also, everyone ships it because jon is basically all of the kids’ “uncle jon” and it’s hilarious and i love it. one of my favourite damijon fics, and the p i n i n g is just AHHHH.

un haeng il chi by @danishsweethearts 17k. i can’t actually put into words how much i love this fic, so everyone needs to just go and read it right now so you feel what i feel when finishing this fic. a cass centric fic, this piece of art has the literal best characterizations and metaphors for those characterizations i’ve ever read in my entire life. cass’ relationship with each member of the batfam is unique and beautiful and dear god i could reread this fic a thousand times over without ever getting tired of it. 

Watch This by snackbaskets (again, if anyone knows their tumblr, please let me know!) ~2k. this fic is just a oneshot of pure adorableness. the league meets little baby robin!dick for the first time. hal and barry are, at first, terrified for the kid’s life, and then terrified of the devious little mastermind in bright green hotpants. this is just humor and fluff and i love it. 

Yesterday’s Voices by @lemonadegarden 49k. oh god i cannot scream my love for this fic enough. bruce, in a time with most of the batfam (including up to steph, damian, cass), gets de-aged to a time where jason was robin and dick was barely speaking to him. and it’s absolutely heartbreaking, because the rest of the batfam get to see how open, kind, and less jaded bruce used to be. if you want a good cry but a happy ending, this fic is wonderful.

if it were deemed socially acceptable, i would build a shrine to all of these wonderful authors in the middle of the street, but unfortunately i have neither the time nor the resources to do that, so i guess screaming about how talented and brilliant they are will have to do instead. hope you enjoy reading these babe!

Summary: We all do stupid things when we are lonely, and in faraway lands, we hardly expect the consequences to follow us. Bruce certainly never thought twice about an American woman in Jaipur after one night with her. He hardly expected to see her ever again.

An angry, insanity driven criminal who enjoyed screwing with the batfamily in every way he could. At least, that's what Damian thought. Maybe he was wrong about Todd.

My Comments: This is a brilliant fic that examines the relationship between Damian and Jason. I absolutely loved this fic and never wanted it to end. I truly wish there were more Jason and Damian Fics out there, I think it’s a character duo that isn’t explored nearly enough. If you love Damian and Jason brother bonding fics, you’ll love this one and if you’ve never read a bonding fic between these two brothers, you may just find a new love!

Five Times Jason Todd Saved His Brothers, and One Time They Saved Him by laceymcbain, reena_jenkins

Summary: “Did you know I was in here, or did you just blow up the place for fun?”

Damian didn't need to see Todd's face to know he was grinning under the helmet.

A Good Place by @lemonadegarden

Summary: Damian Wayne is kidnapped and sent back years through time. Together, he and Father – who's only been Batman for a mere six months –must figure out how to return him to his own time.

Over the course of the next week, Damian discovers that Mexican gangsters do not mess around, that social workers find Bruce annoying, that Bruce might be a little messed up, and that crystal chandeliers create the fondest memories.

Oh. And Alfred has hair.

My Comments: LemonadeGarden is one of my All-Time favorite authors, so anything written by them is brilliant. But A Good Place will always be a favorite of  mine, it is by far my favorite Damian & Bruce centric Fic out there and is something I have read over and over again. I love getting to see a younger Bruce interact with Damian and in turn, Damian interact with him. It’s overall great and has a fantastic plot!

Let There Be a Bruise by @audreycritter

Summary: Damian is a child who should not have the scars he does; Bruce is a father who has plenty of his own scars, but still wishes he could take his son’s, too.

The silver lining is where they find each other— a broken son and a broken father, putting each other back together.

My Comments: Hoo-boy, folks. I don’t even know where to start with this Fic. I honestly get teary-eyed thinking about how beautiful it is and how much I loved this one. My favorite Tim Drake and Damian Wayne brotherly bonding Fic EVER. I would almost describe this Fic as a love letter to the characters Tim and Damian, in the sense that the author captures their characterizations beautifully and tells one of the best stories of growth and familial love I have ever read. It’s fluffy, angsty, humorous, and full of BatFamily feels. And don’t worry, there is plenty of Dick, Jason, and Bruce as well (If not a little later in the story). I would run to this Fic, if I were you.

My Comments: A Fic that destroyed me in the BEST way possible. Tears, so many tears were shed during this fic. The best Hurt/Comfort fic I have ever read. Extremely unique in the sense that Martha and Thomas Wayne are two of the main characters and boy did I love it! I can not stress how AMAZING this Fic is. I never knew I needed this fic in my life until I read it. I wish I could re-read it for the first time all over again. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

My Comments: Did I mention I love Jason & Damian fics? Well I do and this one is beyond FANTASTIC. Overall great Bat-Bros fic that I would recommend over and over again.  This fic is Damian and Jason centric but it does involve the rest of the Bat Family too. I love seeing all the brother’s bonding in this fic and the overall family feels 😊

My Comments: The adorableness of this Fic is off the charts. I love AU’s where Dick is a Talon, but this one will always hold a very special place in my heart since Dick is just so pure in it. Forever a favorite <3

My Comments: Okay, so technically this is a Selina Kyle/Bruce Wayne Fic and even though the plot premise revolves around their upcoming wedding, I wouldn’t really consider this a “slash” fic. There is definitely more BatFamily vibes with this fic. It’s hilarious, fun, and oh so wholesome! I love this fic beyond measure and even if you aren’t a fan of the BatCat ship, I highly suggest you give it a shot for the amazing BatFam moments.

I’m always a sucker for fics that are inspired by songs, this one was inspired by ‘I Will Follow You’ by Toulouse!

Would anyone be interested in reading a Jason Todd one-shot with these sneak peeks???? (I’m gaining the courage to post my first fic)

Gotham had been awfully quiet that night so it wasn’t hard for him to hear some voices around the corner of the alley where he was. He turned the corner of the street to see three women. It was clear that they had gone to some club because all of them were wearing party dresses. One of them was sitting against a building and practically asleep, other was on the edge of the sidewalk refusing to move, discussing with the last girl who clearly was the only one that wasn’t wasted. The sober girl was trying to get up her friend and looking around frantically.

You felt a gloved hand on your shoulder and although you could not see his face, you could see in the way his head tilted and his shoulders went down that he emphasised with you. You also knew what he meant, so you moved and saw how he got face to face with Elianne.

If you knew him any better, you would know that Jason wasn’t going anywhere.

You could feel a gaze on you and the two stars that you could see turned into the illuminated eyes of his helmet as you turned to him. Surprise was displayed in your features and then you started crying and having trouble with your breathing. Jason walked fastly to you and grabbed your shoulders.

Should you be worried that you were feeling such a strong connection with this man?

Author’s note: This is the first piece of fanfic that I have ever written and finished so I’m very new to this, but I’m very excited. Hope you like it. Enjoy!

Jason had called it a night. It had been a long week and the night had been a slow one so he decided to go home a little earlier. If you could call almost 4 am early to go to sleep. He moved through the rooftops to reach the spot where he had parked his motorcycle. When he was nearing the place he jumped down onto the street.

Gotham had been awfully quiet that night so it wasn’t hard for him to hear some voices around the corner of the alley where he was. He turned the corner of the street to see three women. It was clear that they had gone to some club because all of them were wearing party dresses.

One of them was sitting against a building and practically asleep, other was on the edge of the sidewalk refusing to move, discussing with the last girl who clearly was the only one that wasn’t wasted. The sober girl was trying to get up her friend and looking around frantically.

Jason could tell what it was like. Being the only one responsible enough who was stuck with friends who didn’t have any measure. Although he was tired he could not let the girl deal with this alone. Even more when he spotted some guys on the far end of the other street looking over the group of women and not in a good manner.

The sober girl had also seemed to have seen them as she tried even harder to move their friends, she seemed on the edge of a panic attack. The men saw him and immediately turned the other way and disappeared into the dark. Seeing this, the woman turned around  and at first she seemed taken aback (surely, suddenly seeing a figure with a red helmet in the dark wasn’t the most relaxing image). However, after the initial shock she seemed somehow relieved.
