Eighty Six - Shin & Theo and Raiden (feat. Lena)

A/N: Of course my first (official) client would be @wertzunge! Thank you so much for your constant support and your trust! I hope this is of your liking, my dear, dear customer ~

Summary: As the captain of the squad, Shin is giving Lena his daily report, but the call starts to get a little... unstable.

Word count: 1118 words

“And that’s how it went today, major,” Shin spoke softly, his eyes lost in the barren fields that surrounded the squad’s base at the Eastern Front First Ward. The night would be dead silent if it weren’t for the girl on the other side of the line and, obviously, the rest of the group that was still inside the old house. “That's all I have to report.”

“I’m glad to hear everything went well, captain,” Lena hummed on the other side of the line, her gaze fixed on the sketch book in front of her. “But this isn’t really the kind of answer I was expecting, if I’m being honest with you.”

Shin arched his eyebrow, puzzled. He already knew the girl wasn’t like the other handlers the Spearhead Squadron had in the past, but, still, what else did she want to hear? “Is that so? What were you expecting, major?” He muttered, leaning back in his chair, crossing his hands behind his back and one knee over the other. 

Lena giggled on the call, imagining what kind face the captain would be making. “When I asked you ‘how was your day’, I wasn’t requesting an official report, captain.”

“Ah,” he looked up to the starless sky, letting out a small chuckle, “my mistake, then.”

“Let me try again,” Lena smiled, twirling a strand of hair in her hand, “how was your day, captain?”

“Peaceful, I suppose,” Shin muttered, closing his eyes as he barely gave his own words much thought before speaking them out loud. There was no need for those formalities, after all. 

While Shin let himself sink in the casual - and private - conversation with the squad’s handler, two pairs of eyes peeked at him from the corner of the closest doorframe. Theo and Raiden slowly retreated back inside, with Shin’s voice almost fading in the distance.

“They are doing it again,” Theo mumbled, a pinch of annoyance in his voice. “Tsk, ‘let’s wrap up for today’ my foot, they just wanted to talk by themselves.”

“Hah, and you are jealous? Of him or the major?” Raiden teased, scoffing. Still, he couldn’t deny that it was - at least - curious that the oh-so-reserved Undertaker agreed in spending some hours of each of his nights chit chatting with the handler. 

Theo frowned, leaning to get another peek at his captain, “whatever. Are you ready?” The blonde grinned, looking at Raiden with the corner of his eyes and feeling excitement sparkle inside his chest when the other man nodded.

It was time to put their plan into action.

“...and then we had lunch together. It was pretty nice,” Shin commented, not aware of the shy smile that took place in his lips while talking to Lena - and also not aware of the two figures silently moving in the background. 

“I can imagine,” Lena, on the other end of the call, had already moved away from her desk. Strolling around her bedroom, the handler eyed the balcony, thinking about the squad under her care. “So, according to your report,” she continued, jokingly, “the squad went through some training during the afternoon. Did you join them this time, captain?”

“Someone needs to keep an eye on the group,” Shin replied in a monotone, making Lena wonder if he was being serious or joking back at her. While some other members were like an open book, it was pretty hard to get a grip on Shin's feelings sometimes. 

Walking over her bed, Lena sat on the edge of the mattress before allowing herself to fall on the soft surface. Swinging her feet in the air, the handler pondered about her next words, not wanting to let the conversation end at that point.

“But,” Shin resumed, picking up the topic from where he had left it. “I did take pa-ahart- h-hey!”

“Huh?” Lena frowned, rolling onto her side and laying on her stomach. “Captain, is everything all right?” She narrowed her eyes, doubling the attention she was paying to the conversation, but all she could hear from the other sound were… some sort of static? Or some other type of unknown noise. “Shin,” Lena insisted, “did something happen?”

“G-give meheh a secohond!”

Eh?

Lena pinched the bridge of her nose, gently rubbing her eyes. She must’ve misheard it, but, for a moment, she could swear that Shin was… laughing?

“S-sure, but you’re ok, right?”

“Y-yehes, it’s just- agh, you two, stohohop it!”

“Huh? W-who is there?” Lena inquired, but nothing that sounded like an answer came from Shin’s end - just more noise, lots of noise. On the other side of the line, Shin fought as if his life depended on it. Sadly, it all seemed like a losing battle.

Theo and Raiden, working together like they never did, grinned at the Undertaker. 

“What’s wrong? ~ Aren’t you going to answer the major? ~” Theo teased, keeping his arm wrapped around Shin’s leg while his other hand dug and prodded at the sides of Shin’s thigh and the back of his restrained knee.

Raiden, standing behind the captain, held Shin’s head in an armlock while his other hand moved against the captain’s sides and ribs, playing him like some sort of instrument. Unlike Theo, Raiden remained quiet, not wanting his voice to be captured by the mic - still, there was no need for words when his expression said all he wanted to.

“I-it’s nohohoting, m-major,” Shin gritted his teeth, trying to somehow coordinate his moves between punching Raiden in the face and kicking Theo away - but it was all for nought. “J-just sohohome minor i-issues!”

Lena felt the back of her throat going dry, unable to say something back while Shin’s laughter echoed through the voice call. Lena felt some heat spreading up to her face, tainting her pale skin with a bright shade of red. “S-should we stop for today? I don’t want to-”

“NOHohoh,” Shin laughed, his voice raising slightly as Raiden managed to dig his fingers under his arm, “a-ahah, i-it’s fihihine!”

The handler jumped in her bed, sitting up in a hurry. “A-are you sure?” She chuckled nervously, pressing her hands against her flustered cheeks.

“Y-yehehes!” Shin pressed his eyes shut while a large grin spread over his face. “J-just gihihive me a sehecond t-to- agh, dahahamn it!”

“O-ok, ok,” Lena smiled, “I will call you back in a few minutes.”

As soon as her fingers hit the button, the handler fell back into her bed and let out a huge, dreamy sigh. “I can’t believe… they actually followed my orders. I need to thank Theo and Raiden later…” 

Lena reached for one of her pillows, wrapping it into a tight hug while she hid her flustered face. “Poor Shin, heheh…”

Summary: Shinei has been thinking a lot ever since Handler one joined their group and Raiden was going to put a stop to it.

Shinei sighed the hundredth time that day and it was already evening! “What’s on your mind Shin?” Raiden finally asked a tad annoyed. The male looked up at him “Nothing, just thinking.” He huffed from the couch.

He was laying there, their cat resting on him while he was staring at his book. Raiden was right next to him on the ground, having been leaning on it.

“It’s not nothing if you sigh every two minutes!” Raiden growled and turned around to face their leader. “I’m not sighing every two minutes!” “You totally are!” Shin sighed making Raiden smile slyly. “not sighing are you?” He asked smugly earning a pissed off glare from the other.

“No.”

Raiden hummed and squeezed their leaders waist- earning shockingly enough- a uncharacteristic high pitched shriek, making their kitten jump off.

The whole teams attention was now on them.

“Would you quit that?!” Shinei asked and was about to sit up only to get held down by Raiden who started to move on top of him. “No can do” he grinned “Undertaker.” Another shriek ripped from the young leader yet this time soft giggles followed “EhehEHEhey quhuhuihit it!”

Raiden grinned “not until you stop sighing like an old man!” He declared “AhaHahaha- I waHAhas Nohohot!” Shin cried through his hysterical giggles as he tried to catch the offending hands- without luck as Raiden decided to poke him randomly and sneak a few squeezes in as well— even his thighs and knees weren’t safe!

Shin was trashing underneath Raiden who was grinning down at him with playful eyes. The leader kicked out every now and then- why tickling out of all the things he could’ve chosen?! “AhAHAHAhahaha~ quhuhihit ihihihit— RAIDEHEN!” He repeated earning a chuckle from the man above “quit what, Shin?” He asked and moved to his stomach.

Undertaker jumped and almost bucked his friend off “NOHO! RAHAHAIDEN” “you didn’t answer my question!” Raiden grinned- both not noticing that Handler one just connected to them the second Raiden asked that.

“TIHIHICKLING MEHE!” Raiden grinned “you want me to tickle you? Sure thing~!” He sang and switched to his sides “NoHOT whaHAHahat IHIHi mEHEHEAnt!”

Reina kept quiet. She couldn’t see the situation but the laughter from Undertaker was making her freeze and listen to it. The boyish laughter which went up and down the whole time. She found it adorable.

“You two-“ Theo tried to get their attention- after all the handler joined in now, she was not supposed to be part of their banter!

Shin suddenly threw Raiden off- the taller landed on the table with a groan and Shin’s after giggles still poured out of him “youhu’re an ahass..” he murmured earning a chuckle from the other “then stop sighing!”

“BOYS!” Anju yelled, finally earning their attention. She pointed on their communication systems making their eyes widen. “Handler one?” Raiden asked

“Uh-huh?” The answer seemed shaky and flustered. Showing the two how long the girl had been there. Shin flushed bright red and Raiden chuckled at him.

“I- I just wanted to go though the plan one last time” Reina huffed and Shin growled at Raiden. “Sure..” he whispered and went off, disconnecting the team for awhile.

Tickletober Day 14 - Tracing

A/N: this was a request from an anonymous user! you know who you are ;)

Summary: yae uses an interesting technique to help raiden hone her calligraphy skills

Characters: lee!raiden, ler!yae

One would expect the Almighty Shogun, if anyone, to be a masterful calligrapher.

And one would be wrong.

You see, although the Shogun has many skills, something so mundane as calligraphy never crossed her mind as something to practice. Who has time for that when one could be practicing swordsmanship instead?

“My goodness, Ei. Of all people, I never would have expected your penmanship to be this unsightly. This is unfitting for an archon.”

“It’s not that bad, Miko.”

“It is indeed! You’re as bad as Xingqiu. How can I possibly have someone whose signature looks like that cosign books to be sold by Yae Publishing House? It would be ludicrous. I will not stand for it.”

“As bad as… who?”

“Ah, forget it. We don’t have the time to carve out a stamp for you, either. We’ll just have to do things the old fashioned way. You’d prefer that anyway, wouldn’t you, Ei?”

“I suppose.”

“Good. Don’t fret, I can teach you. It may take some time, but I will make you into the second best calligrapher in all of Inazuma. No, in all of Teyvat! Me being the first, of course.”

Yae layed out yet another practice scroll. Raiden was slowly getting the hang of it, but there is a more tactile approach that Yae wanted to try. This method may help Raiden better understand how to write each character more fluently.

Raiden sighed. She didn’t have time for this.

“Oh, don’t be like that. Here, give me your hand.”

Raiden gracefully placed her hand into Yae’s palm. Yae gently turned Raiden’s hand over so that Raiden’s palm was now facing upwards. She grabbed a red handled calligraphy brush off the table with her free hand.

“Lay your hand out flat. Yes, just like that.” Yae began gently tracing the first character of Raiden’s name in the palm of her hand. Slowly articulating each stroke.

Raiden’s fingers twitched. She smiled, faintly.

“Something the matter?”

“No, no. Please, continue.”

“Hm, you know what, if I use your whole forearm as a canvas I will be able to fit the whole thing. May I remove your sleeve?”

Raiden hesitated for a moment. “Um, sure.”

“Thank you,” Yae removed Raiden’s black sleeve and placed it on the table. “I’ll restart.”

Yae repeated what she had done previously, now continuing onto Raiden’s wrist and up her arm. Raiden tried to focus, but it turned out to be quite difficult with that soft brush gliding over her skin. Once Yae had almost reached her elbow, Raiden jerked her arm.

“What’s wrong? Oh, wait, don’t tell me. Is someone a little ticklish?”

Raiden paused, dumbfounded. “I—! No, of course not. Don’t be ridiculous.”

“Hm, if you say so. You won’t mind if I continue?”

“Go right ahead.”

Yae smiled. She started over from the beginning, once again. Yae appeared to be lingering on certain spots now, going over them a few times. Raiden tried her best to remain stone-faced.

Feeling mischievous, as always, Yae snuck the bristles up onto Raiden’s upper arm underneath her kimono sleeve. Raiden practically squeaked.

“My my, what do we have here? You weren’t lying to me now, were you, Ei?”

“No, I— Wahait! Nohoho, s-stohop it!”

Yae held Raiden’s right wrist with her left hand as she more rapidly brushed random squiggles all over Raiden’s upper arm.

“Thihihihis isn’t t-teaching me anything, you knohohow!”

“Sure it is! It’s teaching you not to lie to me.”

A sakura pink blush spread across Raiden’s cheeks. She tried her best to squirm away, but Yae had quite a strong hold on her. Suddenly, Yae decided to drop the brush entirely and skitter her long nails along Raiden's neck instead.

“eEEhehehe Mihihikoho!!”

“Hehe, I think you secretly like this.”

Raiden flushed a deeper shade. “I do nohohohot!”

“Really? Then how about… this! Tickle tickle tickle~!”

Yae quickly reached up into Raiden’s underarms and rubbed her thumbs into the hollows as best she could.

“AAH! AhaHAhaha nohohot thahahahat! PlehehEHEHEASE, MIHIHIKO!!”

Yae continued a little while longer, until she thought Raiden had really had enough.

“Th-thahahank you hehe…” Raiden huffed. “I promise I’ll be more focused this time.”

“I’m sure you will,” Yae winked. “Let’s stick to the old fashioned way, for now.”

Day 5 - Magic

Raiden Shogun/Kazuha PLATONIC

“Wahahait, nohohoho!” Kazuha squealed and burst into loud giggles as the tickly electricity danced around his skin from the Electro Archon’s fingers. “You know what happens and yet you still keep coming back…how curious~” She didn’t even need to touch him as he was a squealing mess already from the ticklish electricity going through his nerves.

As you may know, Kazuha came here for some artifacts…but that didn’t did exactly go as planned as he was quickly overpowered by the Raiden Shogun. His wrists were held to the ground by one of her hands as the other was working electricity through the nerves of his stomach. Of course Kazuha didn’t actually want it to stop, as he hadn’t even said the safe word yet. The tickling would immediately stop as soon as he said it, but until then he’s stuck here.

“NAHAHAT THEHEHERE NOHOHOHO!” Kazuha screeched as the middle of his stomach along with his navel were targeted by the electricity. His stomach was definitely a death spot in general, but his navel was so much worse, and the technique used just made it tickle more than normal. “Not here? You seem to like it here though~” the Electro Archon teased, though most of the time she didn’t show this side of her in public, she would show it for Kazuha since they were alone.

Kazuha later called the safe word after a few more minutes, Raiden Shogun stopping almost immediately. She did end up giving him the artifacts anyways even though he hadn’t won, but what can she say, she had grown fond and had started looking forward to his visits. After all, he may just be one of the cutest mortals alive in her opinion.

If you've played in the Elysian Realm, or you've heard of Elysia, can I request lee!raiden mei and ler!elysia? Personally I think the Herrcher of Lightning is too serious and she needs to ease up a bit! And who can do that better than Elysia?

Magical Giggles

Warnings/Extra Details: Tickling, fem!reader(although they has been used too), and I think that’s it?

A/N: As usual, thank you for the request! It’s been a long while since I’ve actually written a drabble, so this has been fun! I recently started working so this would’ve been done sooner but I’ve been super tired. So apologies for any grammar errors there may be! But thank you so much for requesting! I love Kung Lao, he’s a little sweetheart 🫶

Summary: Kung Lao has recently been busy assisting others, and chooses to reassure his lover by the best way possible. Lots of loving words and affection… and lots of giggling.

Finally, he was almost home. Kung Lao had recently been helping Liu Kang and Raiden recently at the Wu Shi Academy, mostly with assisting new trainees and teaching his own techniques since him, Raiden, and Liu Kang certainly all had differing ways of fighting and their own abilities. He was confident his own skills could help out the fellow martial artists due to the sudden spike in trainees and fighters going to the academy.

But alas, the day was finally and everything had settled down. So after a brief conversation and exhaustion being expressed between him and Raiden since they were rushing around every which way, although Liu Kang simply laughed and claimed his energy was much more long suffering than theirs, he finally made his exit. He tipped his hat and began his walk home…

He knew his days were getting longer and more hours in, so he knew tonight he’d have to pay more attention to his dear lover. While you had protested that you understood and found the action quite kind, he knew that eating dinner alone and not having someone to lay next to when you went to sleep was a difficult thing to swallow when realizing how close they were…

Kung Lao quickly rushed after his thoughts wandered to those saddened thoughts, a small tap echoing with every step he took with his hasty running.

After he dashed to the door of his humble home, a few deep breaths escaped his throat as he quickly entered, and power walked through the house as if he was on a mission, which he was. And within moments, he suddenly opened the bedroom door…

And there you were, a slight look of surprise escaped you as you noticed your lover in the mirror’s reflection you were previously using to pull your hair back, glancing back behind you to stare into his eyes while finishing pulling your hair out of your face.

“Kung Lao—?” You questioned as a laugh escaped him, followed by that soft contagious smile. “Surprised?” “…Perhaps.” You replied before approaching the bed, a soft smile wishing to twitch on your lips.

“…You’re going to bed already?” Kung Lao’s smile slightly wavered as you snickered. “It’s getting late. You aren’t usually home when I go to bed.” The hat wearing Man seemed surprised.. You seemed short with him… and trying to get to bed too soon. You already had climbed under the covers and were getting comfortable…

“No.”

“No?” Your eyes flashed to him, a brow raising on your face as he sassily put his hands on his hips.

“I said no.”

“…No what exactly?”

Within that very moment, he took his hat and tossed it onto a nearby surface before diving into the bed, causing a gasp, followed by a squeal from you as you curled up defensively… and suddenly, you felt him take your hands and suddenly begin to shower your face in kisses.

Which admittedly shocked you as a couple giggles escaped while your face squirmed around to try and dodge the kissing onslaught.

“Kung Lao—!”

Lao’s little angel, also known as you, spoke out with a soft giggle as he snickered, finally pulling away. “I said no! You’re going to stay up with me! Don’t play dumb, face it, you’ve missed me. You accepted the fact I wasn’t here, but you know it saddens you.”

You paused, surprised since he realized.. but you ended up turning away from him, refusing to face him.

“Awwh… come on. Don’t be like that. I know the truth.” He spoke with a gentle softness in his voice as his hand reached up, gently rubbing your cheek.

“…It’s alright. I understand, I think it’s very—“

“No! Don’t make excuses as to why it’s fine little lady. I’m gonna make up for it, and you’re gonna like it.” The rather sassy man smirked, his hand drifting down and tickling your tummy with a couple of gentle scratches with his fingertips, causing you to yelp as a laugh or two escaped you.

“Ohhh. There’s that magical laugh. The one that took my heart.” Kung Lao teased, causing you to roll your eyes.

“Cheesy, are we?” You snarked off to him in a playful manner, as if you were mimicking his sass, a slight smile forming on your lips.

However, the man gasped before snickering at his lover, they always knew how to challenge his sass, and he adored it about her… but he knew full and well he had to double his own sass.

“Oh you little—!”

Once more, he pounced on his girlfriend, causing a squeal to escape your lips. His fingers began to hastily move around your sides, his fingertips tickling you and causing that tingly electric feeling to surge your veins as a flow of bubbly giggles began to escape your throat.

And suddenly, a snort escaped you as his fingers crossed were making this impossible to resist, suddenly pinching and squeezing your hips for a brief moment, causing another snort as he went right back to your stomach.

“Ohhh fineee… I suppose we should settle down. But there’s one more thing.”

You seemed confused as he smirked, raising your shirt above those baggy, fuzzy pajama pants on your waist…

And it clicked.

“Wait—! Wahahait! Kuhung Lahao! Kung LahAHA—!”

You were overwhelmed with laughter as the playful sassy man you called your lover blew a raspberry on your tummy, causing both the silly noise along with lots of tingles going through your tummy as you kicked your legs with frantic nature and all the laughter in the world escaping you.

“o-oKAY—! GEHET—! S-SHOO! QUHUIT—!”

“Alright, Miss Magical Giggles!” He smirked as he teased, finally getting up from the bed now that all of the blankets were messed up.

And his lovely magical giggle box lover was right in the middle of the bed, curled up as she giggled.

“H-Hohow dare you!” You scolded as he laughed, bowing as if it was a honor.

“Hey, I love hearing magical giggles, magical laughs, and that magical smile makes me weak in the knees! Whew! I had to make up for not seeing it too much the past couple days.” He crinkled his nose in a playful manner, causing some more giggles to escape your lips as you finally uncurled and stood to your feet.

“Just go, Sir Cheesy. I’ll remake the bed, you go get ready for bed.” You shook your head in amusement, remaking the bed as he planted a kiss on your cheek and walked to prepare himself for some well needed rest.

Admittedly, as rotten and cruel that was to launch a sudden attack… it was still adorable, and you could tell it meant the world to him to make you smile.. how could you deny him? It truly cheered you up.

Once you finished making the bed however… you had to admit… there was no way you couldn’t return the favor..!

Kung Lao entered into the room after a couple of minutes passed… and suddenly, he felt someone come from behind a door to shove him onto the bed, followed by some nails scribbling up his sides, causing a not so manly squeal to escape from him as hysterical gleeful laughter escaped his lips.

And the house was full of magical giggles, laughter, and most of all… closeness, warmth… and affection.

… And of course, tickles.

Y'know how marionette strings are usually connected to the puppet's wrist and ankles? I'm playing into the puppet thing a little too much, but I think Scara's wrists and ankles would be really ticklish and somehow even Ei doesn't know about them. Kazuha found out one day when they were having a tickle fight and Scara was already giggling when Kazuha grabbed his wrists to pin them above his head

She basically knows him like the back of her own hand and it's an uphill battle for him lol Since Scara can't compete with Ei, he likes to tickle Kazuha because Kazuha isn't as bad as Ei, but Kazuha is also a pretty good ler when he wants to be and Scara was surprised the first time he tried and Kazuha was able to pin him. I think it would be pretty even between the two. He also doesn't mind losing to Kazuha because Kazuha treats him like an equal The only one that Scara doesn't try and fight is Zhongli because he actually has some respect for him lol

From the voicelines, it's stated that itto wanted to enter tenshukaku to have a duel with the shogun.
