It's been a while since I played my Maxis Uberhood, and there's other families I've played since my last update I'm sure, but Kent Capp married and took the last name of handsome farmer Leod McGreggor today. I'm planning on sending them on a lovely honeymoon soon 😎

They were an ACR match on a community lot while playing Leod and I thought you know what, let's do it, you both deserve it you cuties.

Of all the things Leod had expected from having a farmhand, learning a love language wasn't one of them.

Growing up, ma and da had shown affection by slipping wellies onto little Leod's feet and handing him clumps of soil to grade for fertility. Immersed in earth; it was no wonder he was late to bloom. Jonah clearly had a different upbringing - one that made him no less inclined to haul soil, but didn't stop him from wiping dirt from his brow to kiss his girlfriend hello.

What would life be like if Leod had broken off his marriage to the land? He tried not to wallow in possibilities that branched off from past decisions, but he supposed he might have married Cyd. He might have remained single, but considered settling down with Gabe instead - recently, his best friend had revealed a discovery of attraction to men, and the pair were enjoying a date at the pub.

The casual connection was nice. Leod couldn't imagine not being there for his friend, helping him to figure things out. The land could allow that - a partner, likely, would not.

Leaving the farmhouse empty for the first evening in years was an attractive opportunity for thieves eyeing up the village. The safe, full of the day's takings from the barn shop, was broken into - but thankfully not emptied, as the police were on the lookout. Leod sent a thank you note to Homer Land at the station.

Even with a farmer and a farmhand, and sometimes their lovers, there was plenty of room on the farm for a dog - and more importantly, plenty of space in Leod's heart.

Of course, to get Gabe's well meaning but increasingly annoying advice about going out more and meeting new people to stop, Leod headed out for the night. He heard an abandoned barn at the edge of town had been repurposed into a nightclub and figured that could be good place to pretend to socialize aka just sit at the bar, drink for a bit and then go home and tell Gabe he did the exact opposite the next morning.

Be honest: would you go home with this man?

Feeling buzzed, Leod headed up to the upper floor where met one Sharon Wirth. With the bit of liquid courage he had beforehand, it was no time at all before things started getting heated....

....which led to woohooing.

A lot of woohooing.

It got to the point where I just left them to do their own thing and went to go watch what the other sims on the lot were doing lol.

Suffice to say, Leod didn't get home until 7:30 AM the next morning. Not quite sure this is what Gabe meant when he said to go out and meet some new people but Leod's counting it anyways.

Strange-Blossom turn 2: McGreggor

A fruitful time. Birth, birthday, pet bed of doom.

Even with Leod's infidelity they seem to be doing rather well. Especially with the beautiful wonderful heir that will for sure help Leod on the farm without needing to be payed too.

Normally she'd be very busy with both work and painting but because of the terrible weather outside she decided to game for fun this time. Not something that her husband approves very much but he'd rather not piss her off any time soon. He did get mad when she didn't want to give him a good night kiss though. (I get him in that actually)

He had trouble falling asleep that night.

Thinking of the family he left behind to continue their legacy. Especially of his grandparents who too fell in love in a whirlwind romance. Would his marriage last just as long? He must try to be the best partner on earth to his little ray of sunshine. Wait why not name the kid Sunny when they are born?

They went on a very early morning hike.

Matthias and Scotty grew up and uhh I'm not letting Ophelia and Leod have more kids unless they have an ACR induced woohoo by themselves. But seriously your kids become toddlers and right that second yall decide CHLIDREN WE NEED MORE FOR OUR FREE WORKFORCE? A+ parenting indeed. At least they are spliting the duties.

They look uh... creepy. But that's it, thats all. I'm a bit worried about the amount of twins we are having but at the same time... more sims to choose from! I hope the mod's load order isn't just broken :,DDD

Should I tag the new gen or only premades? Im not sure.

Uberhood (76) - McGreggor

McGreggor Summary: - Leod gained enough nature enthusiasm to get a membership card and thus access to the Peerless Park secret lot. 🌲🌼 - Rick, Leod and Jodie's son, celebrated his birthday and aged up to a child. His two uncles, Jason and Peter Larson, attended the party as well. - Rick and Cooper, the family's dog, became best friends. - Jodie got pregnant, and even gave birth on the last day of this round. She gave birth to a daughter named Jennie. 😊

Leod McGreggor, Dustin's step-father, comes to use the internet and stays for lunch. He doesn't catch Dustin home, though.

Riverblossom Hills: Part 2 (of 3)

It's spring at McGreggor's farm, too. Georgia throws a party, but with Xander and Tina at college and Ginger and Isaiah grown up, there's a teen shortage, so she pads the numbers with relatives and juvenile friends. It's a great success, despite burning the chicken. Sharla and Gallagher tactfully removed themselves, though heaven knows what they found interesting to do in their room. (No double beds in the barn, alas.)

Now that it's spring they've enclosed part of the porch for a nursery, which should relieve some of the congestion. They're also planning to add a second floor on top of it, but that involves taking off the porch roof and is a bit tricky.

Oh, and I finally got a shot of Shep, the dog who enabled Gabriella to get a dog and LaShawn Roseland to bring home a cat.
