Narcissistic Tendencies

Some placements have characteristics that can manifest in narcissistic tendencies. Narcissism in its extreme clinical form (a personality disorder) is a specific psychological condition, not something directly caused by astrological placements. However, some placements lean more toward narcissism, like focus on self-image, attention-seeking, or an inflated sense of importance. These are some placements & aspects that are associated with traits that reflect narcissistic tendencies, like vanity and the need for admiration and an overly inflated ego.

Sun in Leo, since Leo is ruled by the Sun, and people with this placement often have a strong desire for attention, recognition, and admiration. In its higher expression, Leo can be very generous, warm, and inspiring, but when out of balance, it can become self-centered or crave constant validation.

Sun in the 1st house amplifies the persons desire for recognition and the need to project a certain image of themselves to the world.

Venus in Leo (especially in conjunction with the Sun). Love is expressed in a very dramatic and attention-grabbing way. I Feel That….

When aquariuses are being “weird” or just naturally being themselves and being perceived as weird by others—either because of their behavior, humor, or forms of self-expression—that their opposite sign, leo, would get annoyed of/weirded out by the aquarius’s actions if the leo is not used to such behavior from themselves or others. i feel like leos have a very practical sense of humor—like Chandler from Friends—where they tell jokes that are funny because they’re true since they’re next to virgo, a very practical and realistic sign. aquariuses are born next to pisces so i feel like their humor is more unique, otherworldly, and imaginative. overall a creative and unique sense of humor, like they just be saying anything randomly that makes you say “how did you even think of that?”—if the leo is immature then they would probably feel weirded out by this behavior, perhaps seeing it as erratic, unstable, or unserious. this could be because their ego isn’t accustomed to that type of behavior in their personal lives. this is why they’re opposites and why a leo and aquarius being together could be tough if either person is immature lmfaoo. how i feel like this applies in a reversed situation though is that aquarius would get annoyed by leos practicality or feel that the leo “burst their bubble,” feeling like they are trying to end or bound the party in their mind or blow out the spark to their imagination. aquariuses do NOT like to feel bounded by others boundaries or self limitations. they will do what they please FR. just like a confident leo.

There are moments when people look or act more like their opposite sign than their initial sign especially when it comes to the rising (this doesn’t always happen ofc it depends on the person and their attributes) for example, when i was watching She’s All That i was guessing Rachael Leigh Cook’s sign and guessed she was a libra since she looked like an aries because of her height & demeanor (small body but big spirit) and even her passion but she felt too calm to be an aries (there’s just something mellow about her) so she MUST have been a libra—and it turns out she is a libra. i’ve seen some people who look like a pisces but have a virgo rising (at times like these i like to say “same thing” because opposites really can act the same sometimes) i feel like people can have more tendencies of their opposite sign than they think, especially if they’re underdeveloped since they’re still learning how to embody their sign soulfully. i’ve seen capricorns be super emotional and family-oriented the same exact way cancers are, as i’ve seen cancers have super-strong work ethics and very serious demeanors like a capricorn.

𝜗𝜚 My sisters and i realized that this could also apply to when we are children, as during our youth we acted like our solar opposite sign. as a taurus, i had acted like a scorpio during my childhood who could be wrathful and overall mischievous in my case (lol), i swear chaos would follow me everywhere i went (very pluto transformative energy) but not in a bad way because i was so chaotic good, which is so young scorpio vibes to me. i feel like a libra as a child could be independent with their lifestyle and how they manage things but dependent on things like emotional support and stability, looking for their sense of purpose and justice during this time. similar to an aries, they could be constantly searching for what keeps them balanced. potentially hardheaded with their sense of justice, charging at others with their new concepts and ideas. a leo could be very goofy and creative, often developing new and different ideas just by locking into child-like activities; overall, just letting their emotions and ideas flow out like an aquarius. the leo could have felt very misunderstood during their youth yet were likable by all of those around them naturally, having a very charismatic energy (like how aquarius’s creativity and aura attracts a crowd of people to them). some people that this may not apply to may have already been more sure of who they were in their youth, already having a big idea of what they wanted out of life; very true to themselves right off the bat.

Pisces mars can be very prone to depression if they allow themselves to be since they’re such a highly intuitive and sensitive people. i feel like mars in pisces would make someone very emotional when they care a lot about anything and can easily care empathetically and sympathetically when they put enough thought into it. they can also overthink tremendously about the specific aspects in their life, focusing too much on the details and trying to analyze all of their thoughts and emotions into a specific category to try to label / identify them. through constantly becoming too self aware of the negative things, these people can become depressed since they could feel nothing is good enough, as they’re too aware of the dark aspects of their own reality. pisces dominant placements are capable of this as well. as a pisces mars, i can say that i could easily become overwhelmed by the dark perspectives of life and feel hopeless (as i used to do this in the past), but that is if i slip and allow myself to feed into unfavorable scenarios and thoughts—the thought of the World being too dark to live in is just too overwhelming to handle. pisces is a very sensitive and caring sign of the zodiac, meaning if they were to care too much about the wrong things this could lead them down a dark, depressive spiral. however, by changing one’s perception and learning to focus on the good things only and to not over analyze and label everything—overall going with the flow of life—a pisces can become in love with life itself and all of its positive aspects, becoming incredibly talented at manifesting dream scenarios and getting what they soulfully desire in life since they’ve become so in tune with their soul. being a pisces is a super-power especially when it comes to empathy and spirituality, so it’s important to learn how to use this power to your advantage instead of manifesting your downfall unintentionally.

Taurus stelliums / risings tend to look kind of boxy, like either a boxy torso or chest or even the facial features of that person looking kind of boxy (maybe a boxy face shape or a boxy nose, or facial structure) similar to a bull’s, while virgo risings tend to appear leaner and skinnier. they look more agile, like they could play a sport or do gymnastics (stealthy-looking but with a more feminine and grounded vibe) they could have an athletic lean or skinny lean build, just kind of skinny looking in general. they COULD give off a babygirl vibe (appearing at times as a feminine spirit in their demeanor, aesthetic, or vibe to others, just something about how they look or act) depending on how they present or carry themselves / how they were brought up. just very slick-looking overall while taurus’s are more prominent-looking since their features tend to be more obvious i feel (they definitely stand out in some way).

I read once that saturnians body types can change very easily and thought about how this could apply to me since i feel my body type changes a lot naturally and quickly without me being a saturnian or having any saturn placements. i feel like it could be because my saturn is in the 1st house and my saturn conjunct ascendant. very interesting !!

1st house rules appearance and conjunctions allow traits to work seamlessly with each other so saturn could affect my appearance since rising represents how the World views you ?

MARS IN PISCES : Water Rollercoaster

Mars entered Pisces on the 22nd or 23rd of March, depending on where you are in the world. It is a time of change in focus and direction of energy!

Having been in the sign of Aquarius, where our focus was on the bigger picture, life felt zoomed out a little too far. Now it's time to zoom back in and get down to earth.

Scorpio Risings

Accuracy influenced by the entire chart.

Appearance

A key theme in scorpio risings is wishing to go unseen (unless they have prominent 10th H placements). They hate being perceived. Their entire lives the worst is assumed of them. Often, these negative assumptions come based on nothing but their appearance.

The scorpio risings may not be able to tell what it is about them that is making people respond to them in a negative way. Other people, may not be able to pin it exactly either. It is usually subconscious.

Physically, all the scorpio risings I know appear very different. I do have a few shared physical traits & observations:

🪻Sharper features. Prominent chins - broad or pointy.

🪻 People tend to associate gothic and darker aesthetic with scorpio. However, this brings attention, generally scorpios have a love-hate relationship with attention. It is more often the gothic, darker style is embraced by sag rising w sag Pluto.

🪻 The scorpio risings, I know, keep a basic and comfortable style. They appear well kept. They stick out for their physical features not their clothing.

🪻 When they do decide to dress up, it would fall under “silent luxury”. Expensive or eye-catching accessory (necklace, watch, earrings) but a black or a darker bold colour outfit.

🪻 Makeup and hair is almost always natural. The women don’t tend to like makeup that much either. However, all this can change if they have placements that do love to stand out.

🪻 Often, muscular or on the thin side.

🪻 They may be attractive in a way that creates jealously. This leads to poor treatment from those who don’t know you.

🪻 Or they may be conventionally unattractive, thus society treats them poorly.

Positive placements such as Jupiter in first house could change the above drastically.

Ex: River Phoenix’s natal asc is scorpio with jupiter & neptune in first house. He was attractive in a dreamy and soft way. Neptune helped balance out the sharpness of a scorpio asc. & Jupiter generally brings luck in whichever house it is placed.

Scorpio is a fixed sign that is about transformation. These individuals tend to impulsively make changes (they are traditionally ruled by mars). Then, quickly become emotional about the change made (they are a water sign). If they have a well placed mars, they may make more calculated changes than impulsive.

Personality:

Disregarding other placements, scorpio rising is more predator than prey. They silently observe, take notes, analyze, and never forget.

Now, when we take into consideration other placements, this can change almost entirely.

For ex. pair a scorpio asc with a pisces moon. They will become less observant. In times of boredom or when reality is too painful, they will enter the dream world in their mind for comfort.

Yet, even the least observant scorpio ascendant is observant. They repress a lot of emotions especially anger. Instead of expressing and communicating their feelings, they will observe the situation or person. They will not forget what was done. And they aren’t likely to let you know until they’ve decided they’re done with you.

Their repressed anger can lead to an angry outburst. The scorpio asc can be very cruel when hurt. They may say and do almost anything to hurt the other person. This could lead to guilt afterwards. However, you aren’t likely to hear an apology from a scorpio asc. From their perspective, they were only hurting you back even though you may not know what you did. This can lead to some toxic relationships throughout the scorpio asc person’s life. A well placed mercury and/or mars could change the above.

The angry outburst will lead the scorpio asc to be blamed and villainized. This is the placement you hear people say, “I had a bad feeling from the start”. People love to paint themselves as the victims of a scorpio asc. And when they were never clued in on their wrongdoings, they may genuinely believe it.

Despite, the conflict they are bound to endure through their lives, they dislike conflict. But conflict will find them.

For ex: My scorpio rising friend was removed from a gc by her childhood friends. She was surprised and discovered it was because her relative dumped one of their aunts. She had no involvement but somehow caught blame.

This is the worst part of being a scorpio ascendant. People jump to negative conclusions. Scorpio asc rarely get the benefit of doubt. This may manifest as people feeling you are intimidating, insincere, jealous/angry, etc.

At an older age, they often gain something that gives other’s something to be jealous of. This depends on the entire chart. Possible examples: Career, they often reach high positions and/or have careers that indicate wealth (Vet, Dr., Lawyer, etc).

They can marry someone that makes other’s jealous as well. Taurus is their 7th, their partners are generally stable, beautiful, generous, indulgent and spoil them. This will be drastically influenced by the venus placement.

They aren’t doomed to never be understood. People with compatible placements will gravitate towards them. When someone understands them, they will be as close as can be. They are very protective and loving. They hate to let people go even when they must for their peace.
