Rama, today has been WILD!

Today, I got so many I had almost forgotten about fulfilled omg 😭

I had been kinda down ab not being able to watch the Barbie movie, and lo and behold, I SAW IT ON OTT TODAY WHEN I WAS WATCHING TV GEJUSJDHDHD

Not just that, about a week ago, I had been extremely sad about not being able to do anything for Marghazhi, my situation at home being rough so it was hard to do practically anything- and mixed with that I was just stuck at home, doing absolutely nothing, and my MUM CAME UP TO ME ALL OF A SUDDEN AND IS LIKE "do you want to go to SRIRANGAPURAM tommorow?" I, obviously said yes!

That whole day I was able to help my mum record all the sculptures, and find out iconography- and note it down, take pictures for her work, see some Thanjavur paintings, and my favourite part-

I was able to dance in that temple, and dance on a song of his too! (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

While what I did was really small, it made me really happy that I was able to do something- because it's better than nothing, in my book, and I'm truly honoured to do something like that  (⁠ ⁠； ⁠ ⁠‿⁠ ；⁠)

I've been hearing flute music all with bells very frequently, and omg it's so beautiful- I don't know who had been playing it for a while but it was so pretty 😭

It played for abt 1-2 mins but IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL WHAT???

EVERYTHING'S REMINDING ME OF HIM I FEEL SO HAPPY AND WANNA BAWL I SWEAR-

All of this just made me so happy and it feels like a good end to this year and I'm very grateful for it, so thought I'd just write it down and share it with you all!!

In the first sketch, Melli stands side by side with Day. Day looks up at him, extremely unimpressed, as Melli says "oh your coat is just in horrible condition, your terrible galaxy team forcing you to work in the wilds in whats clearly such flimsy fabric just proves how bad you people are". Then, he says, "now I simply insist you allow me, the Great Melli, to repair and reinforce it with my superior sewing skills". He looks down at Day, very smug, as they startle, clearly not having expected an offer of help.

In the next series of sketches, Melli is sewing their jacket with Day watching. Empty speech bubbles hover above Melli as he explains it to them. Then, he hands the jacket over to an apprehensive Day, saying "now you try." Day begins sewing, now more confident and smiling a bit as Melli continues to instruct them. Melli grins, saying "see? how could you fail, being taught by the Great Melli ;)". Day looks at Melli, sick and tired of his shit.

The final two sketches show Day in their newly repaired jacket. They stand looking down at it, smiling in surprised delight. In the first, they face the front, and in the second, they've spun around to look at the back of it. The cuffs of the sleeves, bottom of the jacket, and a couple gashes on the back are the most significantly repaired portions. The shoulders are now embroidered with Hisuian Decidueye inspired patterns, and the gash on the back has been repaired to mimic rays of light. End id]

I worry I'm tempting tumblr to flag me again, but I don't think there's anything here that's explicit. I couldn't post the screenshots without the camera mod because I needed to be able to angle the camera to avoid titties being center screen.

Anyways Shadowheart is a fun romance so far, though I really need to install a mod or something she's so white it was almost a jumpscare.

Majexatli has now slept with: Astarion, Lae'zel, Karlach, and Shadowheart during this playthrough. Next up is Halsin and Wyll.

Today's polish was an instant favorite. 😍😍😍 The base is clear, so all the pearlescent yellow/gold you're seeing is from the shimmer which is so strong it glowed in every kind lighting I found myself in. On top of that intense shimmer, they added reflective glitter which gave it the most beautiful twinkly sparkle. I couldn't stop admiring my nails the whole day and was a little sad to have to take it off this morning. This is Lemon from Bee's Knees Lacquer.

hey, I was poking around on the website, and I'm confused by the choice to use "penis in vagina sex" as a tag for erotica when you could use "vaginal sex" or "vaginal penetration" to say the same thing?

Hi!

There are lots of things that can be inserted in a vagina that aren't a penis, and those differences matter.

Specifying anatomy is a clear ways to communicate the information of who is putting what, where. Using straight-forward terms enables people to get a clear sense of what they'll be reading and what the body part(s) of the people involved are. Some people may be comfortable with a story that involves a penis going in a vagina, but may not be comfortable with a story in which a tentacle goes into a vagina. Someone may be comfortable reading a story where a dildo goes in a vagina, but not one where a penis goes in a vagina.

(Aside: we have a "dildo in vagina" tag, but it hasn't been applied it as consistently as I should be - at the moment, "penis" and "distinctly penis-shaped things" have both often ended up under "penis in vagina." This came up just yesterday, in fact, and I have Regrets, looking back, for not being more careful about differentiation for those cases. I'll be doing an overhaul on our tags in September for unrelated reasons (our website software has changed how it handles certain things) so there's no point in my fixing/changing this until then.)

There have been instances where authors have indicated that they're uncomfortable with that phrasing because of their own feelings about anatomy. In those cases, we work with the author to find a compromise that fits within our controlled vocabulary and also fits their comfort level. For example, in our upcoming erotica anthology, there's a m/m/m story for which that specific story DOES have the "vaginal sex" tag. That matches the author's comfort levels, and we felt that, when coupled with the m/m/m ship tag and the trans male tag, reader's will be able to assess and decide if it's a story they're comfortable reading.

I'll own, I'm also confused by this ask, because to me, the differences seem pretty clear? Neither "vaginal penetration" nor "vaginal sex" conveys the same information as "penis in vagina sex," like, those aren't synonyms.

In and of itself, "vaginal sex" is virtually useless as a tag in my opinion, because "vaginal sex" is...any sex involving stimulation to a vagina. And there's lots of ways to make a vagina feel good that have fuck-all to do with a penis, which is why we have things like clitoral fingering, vaginal fingering, and cunnilingus as separate tags.

Likewise, all "vaginal penetration" tells you is that someone's got something going into their vagina, without specifying what, and while some people might be comfortable discovering while reading that "what" is a penis, other people may not be.

In a world as gender-diverse as the one we live in, and one in which we as a publisher are juggling competing needs (the need to create a consistent system across stories, the need to ensure readers can determine with specificity what the contents of a story are, the need to accurately describe each story, the need to find terminology that is comfortable for the author, etc.), we decided a system that focused on simplicity and clarity, accuracy and specificity, would be the most applicable across the most situations. And the current system isn't perfect, and we tweak it fairly often to course correct, increase accuracy, fix mistakes, or address oversight. But well. All the above is why we use "penis in vagina sex" (and "tentacle in vagina sex," and "vaginal fingering," and "dildo in vagina sex," etc.) instead of just "vaginal sex" or "vaginal penetration."
