To start with I’m genderfuild but I mostly go with any pronouns and I’m ominisexual (it’s like pansexual but the difference is that pansexuals have no preference while ominsexuals have a preference)

Sometimes it feels like the Hero and the Warrior monologue is the LMK equivalent to this one fan animation that every MLP fan knows by heart

I'm bored so i will make a list of how (in my silly monkey fan head) wukong shows emotions but monkey edition

• as said in another post, a simple and easy way to understand if wukong is not in the greatest moods, is the eyes.

His eyes are normally gold, but will turn red if he is mad, but if you don't notice those, as hard as it is, you may be looking for other signs.

Such as:

- him moving his tail left and right.

- his eyes are dilated, too dilated for someone to be liking something. Like cats!

- his mouth is not closed. Opened enough to be showing his teeth.

- hissing.

It may be rare for him to get aggressive (anymore) but it's a possibility.

• wukong likes shiny things. Irresistible.

Not wonder my man always tried to steal any treasure he found. If you have any jewelry, hide them. You won't be spared from him.

• even though wukong knows about refections, and knows they are mirrors and that's himself, he can't help but get startled by his own reflection sometimes.

Unlike other monkeys who straight up attack the reflection.

• "Monkeys are curious and mischievous by nature"

i don't have to explain anything else.

• mammals don't exactly stim. They show their emotions (happiness, curiosity, or playful behavior) by doing something similar to a stim, of directly a stim. Such as wagging their tail, for us humans it's a way to cope with stimuli (negative or not) or stress, for mammals is different though.

That's why wukong never understood why it was so impolite "stimming". He is just expressing his happiness, he doesn't wanna smile because that means another thing in his monkey brain, and he doesn't wanna look angry when he isn't!

But he's glad that now he can get rid of unnecessary energy and show happiness in the way he wants. He can "stim" without Tripitaka saying "monkey! That's impolite!"

Why is it even impolite?

• he wasn't and will not be gentle if you have food. That's his now. That's his food. Give it to him.

Well, they don't cry like is humans do. They show it differently, like cats don't cry and dogs don't cry, same thing!

So wukong never knew how to react when someone cried. he could understand they were upset by the noises, but the facial expressions? Nah.

so he either stared in confusion, or tried to comfort in his monkey way.

Both never worked because he either seemed like if he didn't care or he was making it worse.

For starters, im a demisexual girl, still debating if im bi or simply a straight ally(in that case i'd kindly ask for a male counterpart), i don't want to be shipped with mk, mei, sandy, tang,pigsy bc i only see them as friends, and ao lie bc i already got him two times

i struggle with anxiety, abandonment, self worth and attachment issues and am currently working on my insomnia

MK’s symbol is an ancient Chinese Diagram (season 5 spoilers)

So, what is this? It sure looks a lot like MK’s symbol, but what is it, and how is it important for season 5?

Well… Because it can be tracked back to the thoughs five colored stones from the new set.

To understand what I mean by this, we first have to look at what this symbol even means which is: “to harbor or protect dualism" ( aka yin and yang”)

The symbol shows this through the black and white pattern throughout it. And with it there is sometimes even a smaller, empty circle in the middle, to show emptiness as the core in Duality.

But that’s not all because this symbol is actually part of something called the Tajitu(太極圖), which is something that is IN Lego Monkie Kid!

More specifically in this scene where MK “opens up his mind”.

The bottom two circles Aline with these two, who symbolize heaven and earth, aka opposites.

And then we have this little star which matches perfectly with the diagram for something called “the five phases”, or as we are going to know them in Lego Monkie kid: Nüwa’s five magical stones.

Just take a look at the set’s vs the five phases! It’s the same! There is even a myth where Nüwa mended the heavens using these five colored stones which symbolized the five phases!

And if continue on to the second last symbol? That’s the top one, which represents “Wuji” or the start of the universe, where MK (or more specifically MKs symbol being underneath.

And even if I’m wrong about MK’s symbol, this right here would be a pretty good replacement! MK symbol then representing him being in the “center” of everything.

But what even is the Tajitu, at its "core"? Well, it represents the "Taji" also meaning “utmost extreme" or “The Supreme Ultimate”. There is a lot to talk about here but to make it simple it is:

“a cosmological state of the universe and its affairs on all levels, involving the interaction of Yin and Yang, the Five Phases and finally, all the concrete things in the universe.” – Wikipedia

Conclusion:

MK is INCREDBLY powerful, and I am just as excited as I am terrified to what all this means for his “fate”.

You sometimes go ship noodles to customers with him! You always make the journey less boring and you guys just love talking or listening to eachother!

You also share eachother’s playlist on the ride, screaming the lyrics while vibin to it even if everyone is looking at them weird, they’re just jealous they can’t join in :]

(Which is why you can’t go with him most of the time, he’d always ended up lost, distracted or late to the customer lmao)

Listen Redson Never wanted to wear it in the first place but ends up giving in to the two idiots bcs their constant idiocy

The bracelets are coloured each with everyone’s signature colours! MK’s Orange, Mei’s green, Redson is well.. Red and yours is your fav colour!

One time he lost the bracelet and PANICKED, he went EVERYWHERE to find for it bcs he values you and his friendship a lot and the precious bracelet means so much to him!!

He went to the flower fruit mountain and asked Wukong abt it, went to Mei (and asked her to help him on his mission),

went to ask Pigsy and Tang, went to Sandy (and Mo)

went to Bai He and Macaque (more like paying them a visit), HECK he even used his golden vision, he still couldn’t find it!!!

He finally went to you and (comedically) cried and apologizes, dude is on his knees asking for forgiveness

You reassure him that everything’s fine and you could’ve just made him another bracelet

Then when he got up, Pigsy called him for the delivery and he reached to his pockets, THEN it turns out, the bracelet has been in their pocket this WHOLE time!

You two laughed it off and gave a friendly side hug with eachother as you go to Pigsy’s!

Another thing MK likes to do with you is doodling!

It’s actually one of his favorite activities with you to be frank

A personal hc of mine for him is that he is an age regresser, which means he acts younger than he actually is! Its a coping mechanism for him

he rlly needed some sort of activity to deal with the stress, trauma he held deeply inside

Age regressing helps to distract himself away from those negative thoughts, finally allowing him to relax, sit or lay down and just doodle

He likes to doodle him and his friends doing regular strange shenanigans!

It’s mostly goofy but cute looking drawings that he did while age regressing

MK would be more quiet while age regressing but he doesn’t really mind small talks here and there!

Besides doodling, he likes to just settle down and watch his favorite childhood shows! They’re all Journey To The West related but it’s still pretty great either way

MK also has his own monkey stuffed toy that Pigsy gave him when he was a little kid, he lets you hug it of course, you’re his sibling friend! If you also have your own stuffed toy and you let them hold it, he’s gonna hold it FOR LIFE no Bo

He also likes stickers and puts them on his drawings and furnitures! Sometimes you’d put them on his face, it’s pretty cute :3

And ofc he’s gonna put it on you too so you both would have matching stickers! Even if it is too much but who cares? STICKERS

If you let him, he’d also doodle on your hands, drawing little monkeys and shapes!

And of course monkey man is a hero but not without personal issues. After so many things happening at once, he needs someone to hug and cry on for a long long time

The burdens he has to carry on his shoulders, the city, his friends, his destiny, his fate, his mistakes, his regrets, he really REALLY needs to have a long lasting vacation with his fav sibling, friends and family. Away from any problems

MK also has low self esteem that he needs to fix, of course it’ll take quite some time but he’s trying his best!

He’s deathly afraid of losing the people he care for, so on some days he can be a little clingy or stressed. Comfort and reassure him that you’ll never leave him then hug him please, he needs that sm :’{

Sometimes he wouldn’t get any sleep because whenever he closes his eyes, he’d always see nightmares of The Lady Bone Demon, or other bad memories that’s stuck in his mind forever. Pigsy’s noodles and your presence with him help him sleep easier :]

The moment he almost experienced death and Wukong caught them in his arms, you’ve never felt so relief in your entire LIFE, you ran as fast as you can to hug him so so tight with the others. Happy tears streaming down your face while you nuzzle on his shoulder, he remembers your face while embracing back, it’s a core memory to him

Noodles are their favorite comfort food, especially if it’s made by his dad! Sad day? Noodles! Tired? Even more noodles!

I mean MK would eat anything but noodles are a huge part of his childhood and life, it helps him to sleep at night and helps him to not have an extensional crisis :[

He is protective of you against harms way and genuinely wants you to always be safe, if someone or something is harming you, a demon threatening you, etc.. he’s always there to protect you and be by your side no matter what!

If you watch him train with Wukong, he’s going to try and impress you via doing cool tricks mid-battle! Which totally didn’t backfire and make a fool outta himself in front of you

But it’s bcs he wanted to be admired and praised by you! Tell them that they’re cool and his life shall be yours/J

He’s trained for months and had battled endless amount of demons and enemies that come for him everyday, the MONKEY KING is his mentor and has chosen MK to be his successor

He’s not afraid of a little harmless spider!

He’s TERRIFIED

That’s why if you don’t seem to have any fear towards those little crawlies and managed to successfully get them out of his room or sight, he’s going to cling to you and thank you liek you just saved his life-

Not that he’s dramatic or anything, no no, not that he was going to destroy his place over a silly creature or anything! that’d be too reckless and stupid of him! How come he could’ve done this to him and his dads work place that is also a home??

(Which is why you gifted him a night light so he wouldn’t get too paranoid of spiders falling into his mouth and living inside him)

It’s not Meis fault he thinks it’s actually real-

Overall, MK sees you as a sibling and adores you WHOLE lot! He enjoys being around you and finds your presence comforting to be around. Whenever you’re in danger, he’d be the first one to show up!

OKAY SO.

Lego Monkie kid season 4 was amazing. I just finished it and it was mwah. Well written, heartbreaking and beautiful. But there one thing that's been eating me and maybe others since then

Who is this guy. And who is the person Azure is a "Pawn" for

Well. AND HEAR ME OUT HERE.

I think it's Erlang Shen

Lemme explain.

Erlang doesn't like the Jade emperor. That's a known fact. He shares Azure Lions ideology. Erlang has motive to want the jade emperor gone. And maybe he KNEW that Azure would free his brother's and be able to defeat the emperor while he couldn't. It makes sense.

There's more.

In this scene we don't see Erlangs face. Bit suspicious no? He could be giving a wink, a smile, a sign, anything. We don't know.

Also the empty chair. For who?

Im assuming that Erlang was in cahoots with the brothers for a while. There matching ideologies could mean he was also a part of the group. Maybe the chair is for him? Why would they set up an extra chair for no reason if it's just them?

Also the chair is right next to Azure. SUSPICIOUS

Also the outfits are VERY similar. With the long jacket and shoulder guards connected to it with an extra piece in the middle

All these could be stretches and maybe I'm thinking WAYYY too deep into this but I 100% believe Erlang is the big bad that Azure is a "Pawn" for, like the Jade Emperor said.

"You're a pawn in somebody else's game"

I THINK ITS ERLANG.

And I'll be thinking this until I'm proven wrong. But I could always be because it's just a theory.

Thinking about a Christmas filler episode for Lego Monkie kid that we haven't gotten yet.

Thinking about Macaque and Wukong doing last minute panic shopping because time is weird for them. Wukong grabs his own merch but also a few things he genuinely hopes the gang likes. Macaque, on the other side of the store, grumbles the entire time like someone's forcing him to get a few good things.

Thinking about them bumping into each other and having a lot of the same things. They argue over who gets to give what.

Thinking about Tang wrapping presents while Pigsy makes Christmas dinner behind the counter.

Thinking about MK, Mei and Red Son trying to sneak a peek at the presents

Thinking about Sandy bringing everyone matching homemade earmuffs and hot coco/peppermint tea.

Thinking about Macaque hanging out in the corner and watching everyone have fun, then being surprised there's gifts for him. All are the typical things but the last one, unmarked of who gave it, is a new scarf. Across the room Wukong chugs hot coco to hide his smile.

Thinking about all of them bundling up and playing in the snow and watching Monkey King Christmas movies and everyone, for once, being content to live in the moment.
