I'm completely lost and confused so...

What exactly is a "Art Fight" !?

Been seeing it a lot around but don't really understand what that is or means.....

it's an annual event by artists for artists!

each year you choose one of two teams and for the whole month of July you "attack" other participants by drawing their characters

depending on how much effort you put in your drawing (eg: is it a sketch or lined, is it shaded, etc) and how much of a character you draw (portrait, halfbody, etc) your team gets points. the team with the most points at the end of the month wins

they also have a tutorial on their website :)

Art fight is finally over so please enjoy all the art I did this year! It was fun and I did way more than the goal I set myself. My only goal this year was 4 because I usually stress myself out with this event but this year, I did a decent amount! It was super fun drawing all these characters!

Did you know that some species of macaque give each other kisses? But unlike humans, it’s not necessarily a romantic thing and is instead a form of socializing and a way of showing comfort and affection, like a hug.

now I'm imagining past shadowpeach with their cultural difference of macaque being brought up in a village that is trying to act more like humans and wukong living the more traditional monkey lifestyle and him just greeting macaque with a kiss on the cheek meanwhile macaque is just standing there shell shocked
