sometimes it feels like my parents don't care about some things with me like

my brother could be like "hey x thing makes me uncomfortable" and theyd be all hurried to make him comfortable but I tell them that I cant eat y thing because it makes me sick or I don't like z thing anymore they like- forget even after consistantly reminding them for like months

like I get it you've been calling me [DEADNAME/LEGALNAME] for my whole life but I've been asking you for four fucking months, almost every day, to call me Kat just think of it like a nickname or something at this point!!! it could easily pass as one for my fucking legal name!!! my brother goes by a nickname based off of his middle name and they picked up just fine! why the hell do they keep forgetting???? what's so different about me???????
