THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Dust particles, botched press conferences, testy teens, VIPs, bombings, assassinations, military intrigue, national abandonment, hacking, camping, and eyeglasses.

HOT TAKE: I have not yet seen the American version of this show, but damn, this was a democratic rollercoaster of an experience. Everyone is out to win something whether it's an improved South Korea, dirty revenge, or just maintaining some semblance of governmental sanity.

This show has a real 'let's use the same 3 hallway sets over and over again' problem, but the familiar environments just made me care that much more about the acting masterclasses happening between their walls.

Is the drama way way overhyped, yeah. Is it good yeppers. First half of the drama is excellent but unfortunately it didn’t keep that pace and kind of steadily decline throughout the series (what is with all the Hulu/Disney+ shows. They start out like a bang then poof out at the end) First off though, Lee Jong Suk is phenomenal in this, there’s no denying that. Im Yoon Na is just as good, the chemistry between them were amazing. The rest of the cast is outstanding as well. The storyline is not overtly complicated nor is the mystery part that hard to figure out, the whole ‘who’s big mouth’ revelation is actually underwhelming when everything was revealed. In the end though, overall It’s a decent thriller suspense kdrama that was entertaining to watch.

Synopsis :

Being scammed of a home and needing an escape, she goes on a ride where she encounters an accident trying to avoid Sun Woo Joon, a diligent worker trying to make ends meet. Being hospitalized with a broken arm and no place to go, guilty Sun Woo Joon decides to take responsibility and take care of her. With Go Ra Ra’s naive personality, she slowly begins creeping into Sun Woo Joon's heart, while trying to deal with the challenges of living an adult life.

I usually enjoy a lot classical music based drama. Unfortunately, this one fell short of my expectations, and I was pretty disappointed.

between Kang Ok believing in superheroes and the Vigilante bc the chairman of his company is part of the scum of the earth and it's the only thing he can do without going insane (fairly certain there are some uh. paternal dynamics with that) and Mi Ryeo latching onto the Vigilante bc her father was a public servant who was framed and then committed suicide and so she wanted to have hope for once and turn the world upside can we tell that Ji Yong's partners are not stable people. like there's something innately wrong with them from childhood some sh*t broke can we tell they need copious amounts of therapy
