I am such a slut for Danny having supernatural strength and being able to kill someone with a single slap because he’s used to fighting ghosts who are built Sturdy (and literally can’t die, that is very helpful in a sparing partner) so he has to learn such meticulous control when he moves to Gotham where he starts regularly getting into scuffles with humans who think he’s an easy target (he looks like he has the sturdiness of a wet newspaper) and the whole time he’s more stressed about not drawing the Bats attention by being too good or accidentally killing someone so he has to walk that fine line of acting like a scrawny loser and dipping out at his first chance without being clocked as a meta.
Danny, laying on the ground and getting kicked repeatedly by a thug: *tries to angle himself so the guy can kick out a knot in his back*
Danny: *deadpan* oh, ow, stop that hurts, oof
Robin, watching from the rooftop and recognizing the dramatics from the Supers: father there is a meta
Batman, also watching and having flashbacks to Clark’s earlier days: *so so tired and already mentally getting the adoption paperwork ready*

Reminder that humans are also a part of nature. We are not some outsiders looking into this world - we are a part of the world. We evolved alongside every other creature and plant on this planet, we are no better and no worse than them, we just are.

Throwback Thursday! This archival image, snapped circa 1899, depicts paleoartist Charles Knight working on a scale model of the dinosaur Stegosaurus. In life, this species could measure 28 ft (8.5 m) long and weigh about 6,000 lbs (2,720 kg). But when this animal was discovered, paleontologists were surprised to find that its skull—and brain—were disproportionately small. In fact, some scientists thought this massive herbivore must have had a "second brain" near its hips that controlled the back half of its body. Turns out, Stegosaurus did manage with just one relatively small brain.

CHOOSE YOUR REALITY
🍌 The Banana Example 🍌
Tumblr media
Ever heard the saying, "Everything is neutral"?
It’s true! The reality you experience depends entirely on where you place your focus. Even something as simple as a banana can show you the power of perception.
You can choose what to believe in:
On one hand:
✨ Bananas are full of fiber, Vitamin C, and other nutrients that can boost your health.
On the other hand:
⚠️ Eating too many bananas might lead to side effects like migraines or bloating.
See how both are true? You get to decide which version of reality you pay attention to. You have that CHOICE
IMAGINATION and your perception CREATE your reality
So whether it’s a banana or something bigger in your life, you get to select the reality you wish to experience by focusing on what serves you.
This principle applies everywhere. Want to think about food differently? Even fast food, like burgers, can be viewed from a new lens. 🍔
Did you know? A burger isn't inherently unhealthy! If you break it down -> lettuce, tomatoes, beef, bread <- each ingredient has its benefits. Choose to see how these elements nourish your body rather than focusing on the ‘junk food’ label.
🥤 The idea that fast food is unhealthy is more about quantity and balance than the food itself. Moderation and mindful eating are key!
So, whether it’s about food, relationships, or your dreams, remember: you have the power to choose the reality you want to live. Shift your perspective, focus on the good, and watch how your world changes.
Choose/Select your reality wisely because your attention is your greatest power!

Prompt 200
Danny has found himself reincarnated, for fun! While waiting for Tucker to reincarnate. He’s uh, found himself as a clone now- thankfully stable! But he was apparently also an accident, and overheard some of the people talking about termination, which no thanks?
So apparently he wasn’t exactly an accident per se, they did mean to make a clone, so thank fuck for that! They had apparently grabbed the wrong blood, which he almost snorts at. Kind of hard to do in a tube full of liquid though.
Oh well, he’ll just be leaving now… after he destroys this lab and steals all these files on himself, thank you~ Now, does he want to go on an adventure or find his unwilling donors first…

This is made of glass
Blaschka Glass Models of Plants exhibit at the Harvard Museum of Natural History
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From top to bottom, left to right:
[ID 1:
A photo of a large pitcher plant sculpture sitting in a case of glass and dark wood on a white background in a museum exhibit. The plant is photographed from below, so the plant's roots and bottom of the purple and yellow pitchers are in the foreground. The stems, leaves, and flowers are seen from below.
/end ID 1]
[ID 2:
A close-up photo of the leaves and pitchers, taken from above the pitchers.
/end ID 2]
[ID 3:
There are two signs to the left of the sculpture of the pitcher plant. The first and larger sign reads:
From the Hands of the Makers Over the course of fifty years, Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka, father and son, continually experimented with materials and methods that pushed the boundaries of glassworking. After his father's death in 1895, Rudolf continued to refine glass formulations, experiment with pigments and varnishes, and create his own palette of colored glass enamels. He produced this Great Pitcher Plant, [italics] Nepenthes maxima [end italics] (right), the largest and most complicated model in the collection, using many of his innovative techniques.
The smaller plaque identifies the artwork and reads:
[italics] Nepenthes maxima [end italics] (Great Pitcher Plant) Indonesia, New Guinea & Philippines by Rudolf Blauschka, 1906
/end ID 3]

Note
do you pencil traditionally and then colour digitally, or do you just have a very convincing digital pencil brush? I really love the organic, sketchy feel of your work.
I always sketch and ink on paper first, then scan the piece and color it digitally.

Kurvitz stresses that Kim doesn't actually have a character sheet hidden in Disco Elysium's code. Imagining that Lieutenant Kitsuragi has only one natural attribute point in Motorics helps the ZA/UM team to understand the depth of his character beyond what's referenced in the game's dialogue. "We just came up with this stuff for coherency," says Kurvitz. "And because we're nerds."
"I like to think Kim has a Thought Cabinet project called Revolutionary Aerostatic Brigades that he's worked on since he was a teenager," Kurvitz says. "This raises the learning caps for his Reaction Speed and Interfacing."
Kim's high Volition skill makes him impervious to prying, Kurvitz says, as the detective can find out on occasions being met with Kim's brick-wall resolve. Kim often chastises these whims of the detective's, but will occasionally play along. The Lieutenant finds his new partner funny, says Kurvitz.
Kim is naturally shit at Motorics and thinks Harry is funny source
