Who's your least favorite adult in descendants?
Leah. She fucked up Audrey bad.... She literally taught her to base her self worth and life off of getting with a specific guy, and that any failure to put a ring on him would be her failing her family.
The fandom likes to put the blame on Ben and Mal for Audrey's breakdown in Descendants 3, but I don't think it's ever empathized by us enough that *Leah* is the primary person at fault. Audrey's tears are essentially because her grandmother has told her she has failed her family for the fact that Ben has chosen to marry someone else.
Horrible, abusive, indoctrinating woman.

If I were in Descendants, I don’t think I’d make it out alive or I would’ve been expelled or banished.
If I were Ben during the whole tied-up scene, I would’ve said something nasty and insane to piss off Uma and Harry, causing them to throw me out before Mal and the others arrived. Then, the moment Audrey says, “Make me your queen and we’ll rule side by side,” I’d dump all the paperwork and political nonsense on her and say, “I’ll drag you down with me.” Sure, she was raised to be queen, but Ben was raised to be a king, and he was super stressed.
If I were Mal, I would’ve bragged about Hades being my father in the first movie and would’ve gone, “Y’all are beneath me,” because I’d also be pissed and annoyed at a bunch of brats with no self-preservation skills. I’m a demigod, and you’re all what? Heirs and children of heroes who don’t act like heirs or heroes? Boo.
If I were Carlos, the moment Family Day went south, I would’ve hacked everything. It’s on sight. Chad would be public enemy number one.

Audrey loves the outdoors. She is 100% comfortable with just hanging out in the woods with the animals, or spending the day hiking. Her Grammy, on the other hand, doesn't like that. She wants Audrey to be the perfect princess. To wear perfect dresses, have perfect hair, be perfect so she can be Auradon's queen.
So, when Audrey goes shopping she does so to prove to her Grandmother that she's following her rules. She's making sure she looks nice and tries to never wear the same outfit twice. She makes sure that she and Ben perfect dates, away from the woods she longs to be in, away from the animals she was once friends with.
She stays in her castle, her perfect castle where people take care of her and she doesn't have to lift a finger. She goes to her lessons and assures her grandmother that she can do this. She can be the perfect princess her mother was unable to. She can become Ben's Queen.
But when it gets too overwhelming, she escapes to her mother's cabin. When the world falls away, it becomes her safe space.
Until one day, her Grammy ruins that, too.

Descendants Rise of Red makes Queen Leah hating Mal even funnier because like Maleficent would’ve been barely more than a teenager herself when the business with Aurora went down. Like she’s hating a teenager for something another teenager (maybe young adult) did.

Let’s get Wicked
Introducing Thea! The daughter of the Wicked Witch of the West. We’re gonna say after the events of Wicked, she found solace in Auradon until Beast trapped her on the Isle
Thew is a realist, she won't try to think of ways to be positive when she grew up on the Isle, she knew how hard it is so she doesn't try to have hope. She is evil and has her Coven. While a villain, Thea has a sense of justice and fairness. And even with the Barrier down, she's not ready to let go of the pass just yet
Thea is a pragmatist, molded by the harsh realities of the Isle. She doesn't indulge in wishful thinking; she accepts the world as it is, even if it's bleak. To her Coven and her mother, Thea is unwavering in her loyalty. She would do anything to protect them, even if it means defying the established order. Despite her villainous upbringing, Thea possesses a strong sense of justice and fairness. She believes in truth and exposing the real villains, even if it means going against the grain. Thea is not one to be pushed around. She makes her own decisions and stands by them, even if it means facing opposition. Thea is quick to anger when she feels injustice is being served. She can be impulsive and prone to acting before thinking, but her heart is always in the right place.
Thea is a striking young woman with vibrant green skin (but knowing Disney, if this did happen, they’d probably just give her green markings on her skin), a legacy she proudly wears. Her dark brown eyes hold a shrewd intelligence and a hint of mischief. Her long, black braids are adorned with emerald-green tips, a subtle nod to her heritage. Thea's fashion sense is a mix of rebellious and elegant. She favors ripped leather skirts, knee-high boots in shades of emerald green, gold, and black, and always tops it off with a miniature witch hat.
**Background**
Thea is the daughter of the Wicked Witch of the West, a legacy that has shaped her life. Growing up on the Isle, she witnessed the cruelty of the King Beast and the unjust imprisonment of villains. Her mother taught her to fight for what she believes in, to never accept injustice, and to always seek the truth.
While Thea is a villain, she doesn't subscribe to the same cruelty and malice as some of her peers. She believes in fairness, even for those deemed villains. Her mother's imprisonment, orchestrated by the King Beast, fueled her desire for justice. She plans to travel to Oz, expose the King Beast's and the Wizard's true nature, and clear her mother's name.
**Other Relevant Information**
Thea possesses powerful magic, inherited from her mother. She is skilled in various spells and potions, making her a formidable opponent.
Thea has a close-knit Coven of friends and allies on the Isle, who share her beliefs and support her mission.
Thea's journey to Oz will be fraught with danger, forcing her to confront her own beliefs and biases. She will have to navigate a world where good and evil are not always clear-cut, and where she might be forced to make difficult choices.
Thea is like Uma. At least, that’s what I wanted. A character one of redemption, justice, and fighting for what you believe in, even when the odds are stacked against you.

Audrey and her family. I made one version with my redesign of Audrey and one with an Audrey that looks a bit more like the actress who plays her cause my first post of her sparked some controversy.
Hope you guys like it.

Okay but like, can I just say: at least in Ever After High, the future heroes and future villains attending the same school made sense, because they were being prepared to follow their destinies, so everyone was aware they going to throw hands one day and once its done, move on.  But with the idea of ‘Merlin Academy’ in Descendants....its just fucking weird. It’s one thing if it was somehow the heroes school, but the fucking villains school too??? And they all the same age range somehow??? And somehow when they get older, shit in their stories is going to happen somehow???? Like, what??? That makes zero sense???  And also kinda the definition of ‘BITCH’ when that one classmate brings you all back from the dead and another just fucking banishes you to a prison island, but that just me.

Okay so, I've been working on a couple different stories so far and if anyone has any prompts for me, that'd be great.
Fandoms I'm taking suggestions for-
A League of Their Own- Gretson
Descendants- Mevie
The Wilds- Leatin
Fear Street- Sameena
The Owl House- Lumity
Ideas I have so far-
Gretson- Carson and Maxine live in the present time and play for their softball team for Rockford University. They're sent back in time however and are now stuck in the 40s where they find out how different it is back then and meet people that change their lives.
Sort of based on Back To The Future but also it diverts into it's own little thing as well.
Mevie- If you all have seen the Dcom Minutemen, it's that but sort of different. Mal is based off Virgil, Evie is based off Stephanie, Chad is based off Derek, Carlos is based off Charlie and Harry is based off Zeke and yeah its a mix of Descendants with Minutemen and its super random
Leatin- I'm currently working on one and two of the chapters are posted but it's Leatin but the Hunger Games with Fatin as Katniss, Leah as Peeta, Gretchen as Snow, Toni as Finnick, Rachel as Johanna and Shelby as Annie.
Sameena- I have some stories up for them already but im back into it and looking for new ideas if anyone has any.
Lumity- I don't have anything for them but I've been wanting to write for them so I'll appreciate any and all prompts
Yeah, thats what I have so far so if anyone has any prompts, I'd really appreciate it

Saving Christmas!
Tumblr media
Summary; Ben finds out why Chad and Audrey aren't going home for Christmas this year and decides that he's going to save Christmas for his old friends. Takes place around d1. Trigger warnings; mentioned death, unintentional neglect, emotional abuse, sick child, unintentional favoritism, sick child, etc.
🎅🤶🧑‍🎄🎅🤶🧑‍🎄🎅🤶🧑‍🎄🎅🤶🧑‍🎄🎅🤶🧑‍🎄🎅🤶🧑‍🎄
"Hey what are you guys doing for Christmas break this year?" Ben asked one day over lunch.
It was a particularly wintery December 1st when the question was asked and Jane, Doug, Lonnie, and four very excited vks answered almost immediately.
Mal and Jane were going to the Moors with FG to celebrate it.
Doug and Evie were going over to Snow White's castle with his family to celebrate.
Lonnie and Jay weren't celebrating but still had plans.
Lonnie was going home to visit her family.
Jay was going to Agrabah after being invited to by Aziz and Jordan.
And Carlos was going to be spending it in London with the Radcliffes after their niece, Amber, had sent him an invite.
After sharing that his grandfather was coming over to celebrate it with him, Ben noticed something.
Audrey and Chad had been eerily silent for the conversation.
And looking back, it didn't take Ben long to realize that Chad hadn't spoken much all morning.
"What about you two? What are you doing?" The brunette asked, shooting the two a sweet smile.
Thinking that they were just getting put off by the new group dynamics again. After all, it did take some getting use to —going from a tight knit group of six friends to ten almost overnight.
And Chad always did have trouble warming up to new people.
"Uh, we... aren't celebrating this year" Audrey replied, uncharacteristically awkward when it became apparent that Chad wasn't going to.
The blonde hadn't looked up from his tray to acknowledge any of them since they sat down and was just playing with his food, looking downtrodden.
The amount of prunes, chocolate pudding, and pizza on his plate had stayed the same despite the fact that lunch was nearly over. His pumpkin spice latte hadn't been touched either.
Ben couldn't help but feel concerned now that he noticed it. After all, the prince never turned his favorite foods down but here he was. Doing just that.
And the fact that he and Audrey now apparently weren't celebrating Christmas—THEIR FAVORITE HOLIDAY—either was just worsened the concern he felt.
Apparently he wasn't the only one feeling that way either.
"WHAT?!" Jane yelped, "but you guys love Christmas!"
"Yeah. What's going on?" Doug added.
He and Chad had slowly began repairing their friendship after Ben's coronation after Chad had apologized to all of them for his behavior over the year. Plus their families usually spent Christmas together since Snow White was Chad's (non-fairy) godmother.
No one had mentioned anything about plans changing to him.
Audrey gave them a tired look– as if almost asking 'really?' Before sighing and halfway giving in to their questions.
"Grammy is still upset that Ben and I didn't work out, Ariana is smug about it and has a new prince boyfriend, and my parents, aunt, uncle, and fairy Godmothers are too busy to attend this year. And since I really don't feel like being criticized over every little thing this year with no one there to buffer it, I've decided to stay at school with Chad."
No one was quite sure how to react to her snappish response. But the vks– Evie especially– looked downright murderous. But instead of commenting after a few painfully long silent moments, Jay decided to prod some more.
"And you can't just celebrate with Chad, why?"
Audrey shot the thief a harsh glare, confirming everyone's suspicions that she had been avoiding the question, before begrudgingly answering. "Because Chad has absolutely no motivation to decorate because this will be his first Christmas without his grandfather, Prudence, and Duke who died before the school year started since before he was adopted."
Ben got a sinking feeling in his stomach as he glanced over at his oldest prince friend. Oh. Oh.
Oh no.
Suddenly the pudding on his own tray didn't seem as appetizing anymore.
Surely he hadn't gotten so caught up in his kingly duties that he had forgotten to check in on his fellow prince to see if he was doing alright? And surely he had checked in on Audrey after the love spell wore off?
Looking back at the events of the school year and Chad's and Audrey’s behavior made him realize that he had, in fact, dropped the ball on this one. But before he could say anything, Doug spoke up.
"But, uh, why isn't Chad going home? Not that I don't understand he's upset—" he said quickly after the hard stare the princess gave him—"It's just that he and his family usually spend the holiday at Aunt Snow's with my family and Jane's, and besides Fg and Jane, no one's mentioned a change in plans."
Audrey gave a long sigh. "Doug, his sister has a heart condition, remember?"
He nodded, likely wondering—like the rest of them were—what Chloe had to do with anything.
Audrey continued.
"Well, because of that, it's dangerous for her to get sick because it can weaken her heart more. So their parents decided that with the Pixie flu going around that it's best that they stay home. And since Chloe is going to be in bed and his parents are probably gonna continue to try and get the Tremaines off the isle nonstop even more than they did before your proclamation the entire holiday, Chad decided it's best he doesn't return either. You know, since he could get his sister sick and will probably just get overlooked while he's there. "
Doug caught on "which also means that we can't visit them at the castle cause we could get Chloe sick if we do. And Chad doesn't want to make Chloe feel bad by going anyway."
Ben swallowed.
He hadn't thought about that.
Suddenly Chad behavior paired with his unkempt hair and him still being in pajamas made much more sense.
Chad was feeling forgotten again. And this time, only Audrey had been around to try and keep him out of it.
It was like Chloe being born all over again, except this time no one had caught onto how he was feeling and people had actually died.
And Audrey had been suffering in silence alongside him.
He had to fix this.
For both of them.
So he said the first thing that came to mind "why don't you two come and celebrate it at my place?"
Everyone stared at him like he'd grown another head.
Chad looked up and Ben felt even more confident in his decision.
"Ben, I don't think that's a good idea," Audrey replied softly.
"Why not? It's not like you haven't stayed at our place before."
"Your parents hate us."
Ben shook his head. "That's not true. Mom and dad love you guys and grandpa's been dyi–begging to see you two again. "
Audrey didn't know what to say to that and finally, Chad spoke up.
"Well.... If you're sure they wouldn't mind, then we'd like that."
Ben grinned in response "I'm positive. Trust me."
The bell rang before the conversation could continue any further and as the group flooded out of the cafeteria, their moods lifted.
🧑‍🎄🤶🎅🧑‍🎄🤶🎅🧑‍🎄🤶🎅🧑‍🎄🤶🎅🧑‍🎄🤶🎅🧑‍🎄🤶🎅
Big thanks to @eahravinqueen and @panthera-tigris-venenata for the help. Happy Holidays y'all.

Your unpopular opinions on Descendants.
Queen Leah is unjustly villainized by the fandom. In the first movie, her role consisted entirely of "being horrified because she genuinely thought Mal was Maleficent and was terrified that she was back for revenge." She did not appear in the second movie. Then in the third movie, yes, she was very harsh to Audrey. But she's not nearly as bad as the fandom makes her out to be. I've seen headcanons/fanfictions of her being solely responsible for every single bad thing Audrey did, actively hating every villain child born on the Isle - you know, the ones not connected to her story at all - and the root cause of the bad conditions on the Isle because she decided to meddle with the supplies the Isle was getting and stop the shipments. Where on earth does it mention that she wants all the Isle kids to stay there forever, and probably die? Where does it say that she is solely at fault for every negative thought Audrey had, and her villain arc? Last I checked, actions were generally the fault of the person who did them. Yes, Leah was harsh to Audrey, and her words were probably what set her off, but clearly this was only the last straw in a set of circumstances that had been building and building for quite some time, likely since Did I Mention! I'm making a post about this. Whenever I get around to finishing it.
