As I said in the info post, Wukong's possession works differently in this au

Instead of completely possessing him, LBD's only able to possess his body, not his mind.

So basically, Wukong's completely conscious and aware of what he's doing. He can't control his body at all, so when LBD makes him attack MK and Nezha, he screams at them to run.

He watches himself be used as a puppet for LBD, hurting the people he cares for and not being able to do anything about it.

(may i mention this is going on while he picks up that something's wrong with macaque :3)

Wukong sometimes does get minor control over his body, but LBD mainly keeps him chained up when she's not using him for her own gain

As for their fight...

So for 3am au

If they know what’s happening when they’re possessed, I’m guessing like after the “He’s mine” post, somehow LBD gets the mayor and Mac and leaves, and Wukong has to go back to check on the kids then and inform the others what’s up, which leads to the adventure and eventually getting Mac unpossessed by the Samahada fire and Wukong possessed by trying to take down LBD alone again and Mac having to fight possessed Wukong? How much of this are the actual kids seeing? Does Xiaoxing try to help get the staff too? What are their reactions when they both realize they remember what happened when they were possessed? And omg new thought, does Wukong still get amnesia-d in that one episode? How does he react to his and Mac’s kids??? (I know so many questions but this is all so good!!! Probably gonna send another ask about the ttm/sunset au soon too cuz I love it so much toooooo)

OH MY YOU JUST MADE ME REMEMBER THE AMNESIA EPISODE!! Yes Xiaoxing and Xiaoyue are there when Wukong gets amnesia and now I can't stop thinking about it but that’s for later—

Hmm the unpossession of Macaque doesn't happen during the samadhi fire but instead happens during Wukong's confrontation with LBD during season 3,,, I kinda have it that,, and I'm kicking my feet,,, LBD plays with Wukong's feelings, like I’ve shown in previous post, to try and trip him up, but when she starts getting overpowered she throws Macaque at Wukong and this happens:

Monkey just got bamboozled😔😔 well at least Macaque is free

Xiaoxing’s parents really taking shifts at being possessed😭😭

Talking about Xiaoxing, he does go with Mac and MK to stop LBD, he backs up MK while shadowpeach are throwing down (since in this au Mac would last slightly longer against Wukong due to them having routine spars and Macaque being kore familiar with his modern fighting style), he’s mainly keeping LBD away from them while MK tries to figure out how to get the staff out of the ice

I like the idea of Xiaoxing having his laser eyes as a main weapon lol, they’re slightly less destructive than his dads which is why he got the green light to use them.
