Baby's POV

I was doing my laundry while Freddy was out with Ennard trying to bond with him. I still find it funny that Ennard dislikes Freddy. Bonnie was going to be coming over in a bit that's the reason why I was cleaning up.

I was getting a call from Sunso, so I picked it up.

*Hey Sun what do you need*

*Hey Baby I was wondering ... could you take care of the littles for me?*

I sighed *Sure. Bonnie is going to come over so is there anything I should tell him about the littles?*

*Well yeah so for Solar he likes physical touch so hold him a lot or keep him near Equinox or Lunar and make sure he has his plush bunny. For Equinox don't raise your voice at them... scratch that don't raise your voice at any of them. For Lunar he will most cling to Solar and he will want his light blue pacifier with a polar bear lanyard. Fraya she is in her shirt right now and is going by she/her and the Freddy plush she will NOT Let go of.*

As soon as I hung up Bonnie showed up

"Hey, Circus Baby."

"Hey, Bonnie guest what?

"What?"

"WE get to babysit the littles they will be coming over soon and Sun is dropping them off!"

"Oh. Oh? Oh! What time will they be over? Do they need blankets? How many are coming? We need food, don't we? And bottles? I'm freaking out man! I'm freaking out!" Bonnie said while shaking Baby by the shoulders.

"First off calm down sweetheart. And second Sun will bring everything we need for the littles."

"Okay okay okay. I feel better now."

"You better the littles are gonna cling to you, especially Funtime Freddy. You know she loves you she will hug you to death."

" I know."

The doorbell rang

"That must be Sun."

I opened the door to see Sun and Freddy (OG) bringing in the littles and their things.

"Hi, you two. You can set the littles and the stuff in the living room with Bonnie."

Sun then spoke up "Okay thanks."

After the little ones and their stuff were dropped off. Also after Freddy and Sun left.

I was holding Equinox while Bonnie was holding Fraya and Lunar was holding Solar in his lap. Both Equinox and Freddy were sleeping so they put them on the couch and covered them both in a blanket.

I started to talk to Lunar. "Hey Lulu what do you two want to do?"

Lunar started to speak in a small voice. "We're hungry."

"Okay, hunnie we can get something for you two to eat. What do you guys want."

Lunar smiled and started to speak again "Um ... I want a grilled cheese and um ... Solar needs his bottle."

"Okay, I can do that. Do you want to come to the kitchen with me or stay here with Bonnie?" Lunar looked at Boonie on the couch cuddling with Equinox and Fraya.

"We want to go with you please." Lunar was still speaking in a quiet tone.

"Okay." I picked up lunar and Solar. I set them down in one of the chairs. Lunar insisted on holding Solar. I started to make Lunar's grilled cheese. I had to make sure not to burn it or Lunar would not eat it. I also had to make sure to use white cheese not yellow cheese. After I finished making the grilled cheese I started to make Solar's bottle which Sun had packed a special chocolate formula. I gave Lunar his sand which.

"Thank you." Lunar started to slowly eat his grilled cheese. As Lunar was eating I was finishing making Solar's bottle. While I was finishing the bottle Solar was babbling to Lunar. Lunar just kept nodding his head towards Solar as if he could understand the babbling. I finished up making the bottle.

"Hey, Bonnie do you want to come feed Solar?"

"Sure I can definitely feed Solar."

After Bonnie fed Solar and the other little woke up.

I was thinking about what we could do next. An idea popped into my mind. "Do you guys want to watch a movie?" They all seemed very excited to watch a movie. "Okay, what do you guys want to watch?"

"Can we atch da inding Nemo?"

"Of course we can baby."

"Does anybody not want to watch Nemo?" No one disagreed with watching Nemo. So I picked up Fraya and Equinox. Then Bonnie picked up Solar and Lunar. We then went down to the theater and sat in the beanbag chairs.

"I will get the movie on," Bonnie spoke. I was gonna put it on but if I get more time with the little then that's just fine with me (Hazbin Hotel reference?) The movie started to play and Bonnie sat down. As soon as he sat down both Fraya and Equinox sat down on his lap while Solar and Lunar cuddled with me. About halfway through the movie Lunar fell asleep as did Solar and Equinox. Fraya was looking sleepy but was refusing to sleep. I signaled to Bonnie to talk to her I also texted him to talk to her.

"Hunny, why aren't you asleep yet?"

"Not allowed to."

"You are allowed to sleep."

"Hun, you need to sleep. Of course, you are allowed to sleep." Bonnie rubbed Fraya's head. Freddy relaxed and put her head on Bonnie's lap. It took some time for Freddy to fall asleep but eventually, she calmed down and fell asleep. After she fell asleep Baby laid her head on Bonnie's shoulder and she fell asleep. A few minutes later Bonnie put his head on Baby's head and fell asleep till Sun and Freddy had to pick up the littles later.

Eclipse: Jesus you went into Mom Mode. Chill. I don’t think he’s dying.

Moon: Even if he isn’t dying, he’d still need epinephrine and your computer doesn’t know how to make it!

Eclipse: Bold of you to assume!

Eclipse: But yeah, it doesn’t. But he also didn’t eat any allergens at dinner, we just a meat/meat substitute and salad night and me and him used the same dressing non-dairy with no grapes, grape seed, or anything grape related.

Moon: Then what could possibly be hurting? Cres?

Kill Code: I have blood in my bed, I threw up. I don’t know what’s happening.

Moon: BLOOD!?

Eclipse: oh

Eclipse: Moon chill out, I know what it is. Dad, do your hips hurt too? Lower back?

Kill Code: Yes, everything hurts.

Eclipse: Moon, you’ve never had periods before, did you?

Moon: Not after the first one, that was hell. I forcibly turned off my hormonal sensors and haven’t had one since.

Eclipse: He’s having his first period and nobody told him because us kids thought he already knew what they were like being in your body.

But I guess so much piled on all at once forced them to need to accidentally come out because they didn’t want to feel uncomfortable anymore when they were already so stressed.

Supermassive: So right now KC is our Mom. Right?

Moon: Right now Cres is just a baby. If she’s still regressing, that is.

Blood Moon: I would say her asking if she can use a diaper instead of a pad says yes to her regressing.

Not many because I'm not a practitioner, but the majority of my thoughts are good, and all my respect for who does age regression (I'm not the best person to talk about it).

So we can all agree that the Sun and Moon fandom is dying right?

There is a quiz at the end of the post.

Me myself and many others have left. Whether it is due to the rising toxicity of the show or the fans. At this point it is simply a creative backdrop. Something you take ideas off of instead of something that you enjoy and turn into a AU. And at this point if you have it as an AU. You feel as if you need to somehow say it's separated or is only based off of the good old days.

The fact that there is a difference between the good old days and what has happened is sad. I will admit I haven't been here forever. I wasn't here since the beginning. I wasn't watching the episodes upload as I watched. But I did do my best to watch every single lore post I can find. Anything that wasn't a standard gaming episode. So I can at least say that I tried to follow the story.

And to put it slightly the story has gone sour. Characters have stopped feeling right in their actions. Underlying messages have started to get toxic. Many bad guys have gotten so characterized that them being bad guys doesn't feel right. Are good characters no matter how developed they get either regress due to plot convenience. Or have died and basically reset the storyline.

The story seems stuck. There's some gems here and there but it seems like they can't figure out the next story action. And even if they do, it gets so much hate from the fandom that it struggles to continue. It feels like they continuously reset and reset to try and find a story that the fans will enjoy. It's not working unfortunately. There have been many retcons due to this. And there has also been many splits.

And this is not even mentioning the toxicity of the fandom itself at this point. That's basically split itself in two and the other will hate the other. This happened most obviously with the Moon X Solar argument. Where you either enjoy it or you don't enjoy it. It has caused a multiple splits because of differences in morals. It's just created a hostile environment between fans.

And I'm not making this post a point fingers at the whole argument. I've researched it and I know why some people believe it's okay. Whether it's because they believe solar never really wanted to be a part of the family. Or the simple understanding that by most laws, incest between adopted family members is okay. I understand that people have reasons to like it. It doesn't mean that these reasons are shared though. It doesn't mean that the moral implications of that relationship don't affect some people. And neither side is willing to come to a mutual agreement.

This is also not bringing up the fact that the whole villain versus hero argument is starting to become even more split. Sun, Moon, Lunar, Earth, Solar are both currently on the good side. While Eclipse, Blood Moon, and a couple others are still obviously on the bad guy side. But Eclipse and Blood moon have started to become more and more relatable. People can no longer look at those characters and just imagine the villainy part. Especially when the heroes decide to mock the suffering that they did to the villains in the first place.

That is my personal scare between the fandom right now. I can't look at eclipse and not deny that Moon's actions were the reason of it. I can't look at moon and justify years of abuse. Whether it was old moon or new moon at this point. I can't stand and justify treating blood moon as a villain has tested its limit. I can't deny that blood moons actions are more so based on need than actual want. And the creators forcing that idea backfired enough that they barely have him as a character anymore.

There is a split between people who want to support moon and sun with all their actions. There is a split between people who think solar should be considered a part of the family or not. There is a lack of storylines that don't have half of the community hating upon it. There is a lack of feeling an actual tug of conflict in the stories due to the villains being so understandable. There is a hostility between the fan base because of all of these.

I put out a poll a long time ago. Asking people why they basically watched the show anymore. The general consensus was they were just watching the show because they needed to. Because they felt obligated to follow the plot wherever it went. I feel like the fan base that is following the show for their own enjoyment is slowly disappearing. And this is not talking about the amount of people that have straight out left due to all the reasons above.

Whether it is the show's fault for not being able to supply the engaging store anymore that people can enjoy. Or it is the fandom for it's toxic split between the morals of adoption incest, or the feeling that the villain shouldn't be getting as much hate as they do. The show was currently dying on both sides honestly. And the only reason many are continuing to watch the show, is the hope that it will get better, and the need to supply their AUs off of it.

How many of your friends have left because of these reasons? How many of them have had the conundrum of feeling like they need to stay because leaving feels like a betrayal to others or themselves.

How many of us are only holding because of nostalgia?

It feels like nowadays people either choose to blindly follow due to an overall support or question constantly if they should. It feels as if artists that give the show their thumbnails now, are the only people that do stuff happily with it. A conspiracy part of my brain wants to say that's only because not supporting it would mean they wouldn't have there art publicly endorsed. But that's only conspiracy and no fact.

The show has lost its splendor. As of now it's really only a character backdrop to some. A list of events and ideas that you could pull and twist to fit something kinder or better. It's like as if we're using the Sun and Moon like Robin Hood. Stripping it down to the basics just so we can share our twist of the same tale. I have heard many times from people that AUs are more enjoyable right now than actual Canon. I myself have said for multiple stories that they do not follow past backup eclipses death. Which in my opinion is when the show really started to go downhill.

I'm going to ask this question again. Because I feel as if it is important for people who read this post to see it under a newer light.

I will note. If you reblog this post just to argue that it's not dying, That solar X moon isn't incest, that characters like eclipse and blood moon should be treated as the absolute villains they are, and seeking Sun and Moon are evil is dumb. I will not respond. To be honest I will not respond to many reblogs of this. I'm simply putting this information out earnestly as my opinion. I am not here to hate on the artists. I am not here to hate on your difference in opinion. I am not here to say that the show writers are dumb or money monsters. This is my opinion. And if you wish to fight it, then you are not willing to accept differencing opinion.

Thoughts under the cut.

I like Lord Eclipse a lot actually. I was very excited that he was brought back into the story and was glad to see that he's still just as analytical as ever. It's obvious he seems to have some tabs on other universes, considering he called Moon out on his character regression. Sometimes I think about the fact that our Eclipse said he was going to reach out to Eclipse's from other worlds and I wonder if Lord Eclipse was one of them. If he ever shows up again, I'll probably write something cohesive about him because he really is an interesting character. I feel like he holds the potential to reveal a lot about our own Eclipse, strengths, and weaknesses wise. I was actually thinking about this last night before I went to bed because my mind was caught on the statement "Would I help another me? Probably not, but it's not like I have anything left to lose." Has me wondering if Eclipse may have had the chance to reach out to the swap Eclipse as well. What I've noticed from the swap au is that it's not so much "Oh Lunar is sun and Moon is eclipse" Because that's not how they acted. They still have the same personalities that we've seen as the people from our og reality, it's just that they are in switched circumstances. The Eclipse there is still very much an Eclipse, although personality wise he's probably more like Solar. (In my first analysis I talk about how if Eclipse hadn't had that horrid disconnection trauma and was instead communicating with Sun like Solar was in his world he would have a lot easier time overall, it really was such a small difference between Eclipse and Solar in the beginning that make them so viscerally different after all this time.) This means that Swap Lunar and Solstice probably have a lot better relationship than our Sun and Moon because Eclipse isn't a violent person to start with. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again

At first I enjoyed seeing content and fics and all that stuff on Tumblr and Ao3, but now I just hate it. There’s rarely a fic that actually seems canon or a post that actually talks about the show. most things I come across here now, is all these oc’s and everyone completely turn anyone into a babyish personality. But the worst is Eclipse. Everyone’s been painting Eclipse as the one suffering who’s traumatized and needs help. Ew. That ain’t Sun and Moon show. That’s you completely butchering everyone’s personality. Eclipse is the main Villian of the show, the whole reason everything bad happens. I don’t wanna see you age regressing him, shipping him, victimizing him, making him a traumatized guy and making him FUCKING PREGNANT. That isn’t Eclipse from SAMS, get that through your fucking heads if you’re gonna do stuff like that, make your own damn tag and stop completely crowding the Sun and Moon show tag. because that isn’t Sun and Moon show. All you got are characters who’s personality’s are completely inaccurate to how they act in the show. I came here for SAMS related stuff like art and theories and even jokes.
