“Say you’re sorry.” Law growled after he grabbed a fistful of Zoro’s hair, forcing him to make eye contact. There was a mix of frustration and desire behind his gaze, a combination he never thought he’d have.

Zoro tilted his head to the side and smirked. “For what?”

“For being reckless.” Law replied, trying his best to keep his breathing even.

“You’re not my captain, Law.” Zoro reminded, bringing his face in front of his. “So I don’t have to listen to you.” He leaned and whispered in his ear.

His statement made a vein pop. Law’s eyes darkened as he gave Zoro a bruising kiss and tightened his hold on his hair. The green haired swordsman groaned into the kiss and brought his hands around Law’s waist, pulling him closer.

“Stop it,” Law growled, breaking the kiss. “You don’t deserve this. My attention.”

“Well what do I deserve?” Zoro asked in a rough tone, not loosening his hold.

“Nothing until you apologize.” Law reminded.

“You know I won’t.” He smirked.

“This isn’t a game, Zoro-ya.” Law frowned, pulling his hair back so the column of his throat was exposed. “If you want this,” he started, grazing his teeth against his throat, lightly sucking. Zoro’s breath hitched as he felt Law’s playful nips and bites against his skin. “Then apologize.”

Despite the urge for him to give into Law, Zoro gave him a devilish grin.

“No.”

It was just common courtesy, right? You congratulated people on their birthday. It didn't have to mean anything. Dipping his toes in, so to speak. Test the waters. Dip the waters, test the toes. Whatever. The coffee machine slowly fills up, coffee dripping seconds. happy birthday Law types and sends it off before he can think better of it. He's just being polite. Yes. (And he really does hope that Zoro has a good birthday after the shit evening they had.)

Law is paired with Zoro so that he doesn't get lost. They see some Marines and Law takes Zoro's hand in his to drag him in an alley, what happens next was not in Law's plans, but you don't hear him complaining.

Zoro shrugged and flexed his hand trying to decide if it had tingled during whatever it was that had just happened. The God before him seemed to expect an answer, so he said, “I dunno, something more dramatic? Like take my heart out and put it on a scale or something.”

“Did that once. The poor soul leapt into the river and died again.”

LOOK I'm not fully sure what color Zoro's eyes are (there is technically a way for them all to be right (the ones off the top of my head are gray, green, brown, and yellow, but honestly I think I've seen just about every answer thrown out) and the answer is hazel with yellow-brown in the middle and blue-green on the outside (aka the answer is everything... literally why am I explaining this so much oof, ANYWAY))

Whatever, let's call them gray for now cause Law's are gold and the silver-gold parallel is just more for me specifically to giggle about...

The cab slides in next to the row of cars parked onto the street, already covered in a sprinkling of snow that makes them give off light like the moon hit by the sun. Zoro, apparently surprised that the cab has reached its destination, digs into his coat pocket for his wallet. As he fumbles, Law squints out the window. A parking lot waits empty across the street. In front of it, a bus pulls out from what must be a stop, though the pole that marks it could be mistaken for a no-standing sign. No passengers are visible on the bus, but it’s late and so fucking cold (like three months worth of days’ on the calendar got stuck together so the world’s been skipped ahead from late October to the middle of January) and the snow’s picking up its pace.

Sword guys, great way to go from releasing tension to topless and sweaty and close together, Zoro gets lost and Law enjoys wandering so they just go on walks together, both incredibly intense in what they do, both unlikely to back down, understand each other reasonably well, Zoro can deal with Law's brand of stupid/crazy/D

I think their interactions are fun :)

Law: "Let them kill you! Be ready to die for the plan!" Zoro: *is ready to die for the plan* Law: "NO!"

They have ao much in common! Both are swordsmen and they both have cursed swords (at least one). They're both pretty deadpan but not above getting into shenanigans with luffy. They just fit!

Two moody, broody swordsmen who are really bad at expressing their feelings, but deep down, you know that they are softies. They would bicker with each other but at least understand that the sarcasm is like a love language. They can at least share that mutual respect of having to be the strong one, especially surrounded by a crew of silly goofy guys.

They are perfect together because they are both massive nerds who think they're just so freaking cool, but they're not. Literally every time everyone else is freaking out about something they're like "pfft losers." But THEY are the losers.

It's two guys who are obsessed with Luffy who are in love, it's swordsman x swordsman, it's the two straight men together, it's jock/goth. I just think they would have nasty sex and I'm into it.

Both of these poor gay boys accidentally fell in love with the most aroace mf in all the blues. So they fuck each other to cope.

Kidd and Zoro's ex/current boyfriend dynamic is fucking hilarious and I hope yall enjoy it.

Updates are about to get much slower, as work is picking up so I have to actually. Do stuff. Instead of writing fanfic for eight hours on company time.

But then again, that's what I always say so 🤷

A week ago I had no idea that steddie was a thing. I have only seen the first 2 maybe 3 episodes of stranger things (and don't plan on watching anymore) but now i'm reading the steddie fanfics and rebloging some steddie stuff. This is why I love tumblr, I start with one hyperfixation, then someone is posting something else and I'm like "ohh what is that?? I want try some of that coolaid" and then it is days later I'm on page 50 of AO3, have made preferences, maybe even switch to some rarepair within that fandom, all while never really comsuming the actual media. And I love it :)

I have so many LawZo AU fics I want to write but I still love the rest of the personal notes I created around my Death God AU (To Kiss Death) and Mafia AU (Tomorrow Before Yesterday). I'm not sure what I'll do with them just yet but both may turn into small series of sorts. So, if you're fan of either of them there is hope for them to continue. However, neither mini project will take precedent over three other fics I plan to write soon.

Gonna finally put some of my drabbles that have been collecting dust out there. Some of them just random bits and bobs, others things (that I wanted to expand on more but lost steam on) I may wind up using bits of for other pieces down the road. But hope y’all enjoy them!

Zoro belched. Rotten meat drenched in milk curdled via sulphuric fire coated his pharynx and tongue. At least, that's how it tasted. Death by any other name. He'd faced it enough times to know but hadn't eaten at its table before. Even his sake was off. To survive, animals sensed what was good to consume, or not, and this was not good. Flies, then bees, sniffed him out, then Robin, followed by Brook, the skeleton's cane tapping across Sunny's flooring. "Yohohoho! You smell like crewmates six days unburied."
