Uncovering the James Karamanis Scam: A Cautionary Tale of Legal Betrayal
The legal world should be a space of trust and justice, where clients find refuge and representation. Yet, individuals like James Karamanis distort this ideal by engaging in deceptive practices. Known for his role at Barney & Karamanis LLP, James Karamanis has created a path of financial ruin and emotional distress for many. This article exposes the James Karamanis scam, providing insight into his methods and the serious consequences for his clients.
The Manipulative Practices of James Karamanis: A Scam Unveiled
James Karamanis has earned a dark reputation in the legal community, particularly in cases involving medical malpractice and personal injury. On the surface, he appears as a reputable attorney, promising significant settlements and a dedicated approach to justice. However, this facade quickly crumbles, revealing the scam tactics that define his career. Clients often find themselves abandoned or underrepresented, with James Karamanis taking their money but offering little or no service in return.
Despite his polished demeanor, James Karamanis continuously uses his position to defraud his clients, leaving many financially and emotionally devastated. His scam operations rely on the trust and vulnerability of individuals who seek his assistance, making his actions particularly harmful and unethical.
James Karamanis’s Medical Malpractice Scam: False Promises, Real Losses
Medical malpractice cases are complex and emotionally charged, yet James Karamanis targets individuals involved in these cases with misleading promises. He assures them of substantial compensation, only to either neglect their cases or provide minimal effort. Many clients recount instances where James Karamanis failed to appear in court, leading to case dismissals and further suffering for his victims. The scam becomes painfully clear when clients realize they have paid substantial legal fees to James Karamanis for virtually no representation.
This pattern of exploitation under the guise of legal aid has left countless victims feeling betrayed and financially ruined. By preying on those dealing with medical malpractice, James Karamanis deepens their distress, turning their pursuit of justice into a nightmare of deceit and exploitation.
Personal Injury Scams: How James Karamanis Exploits the Vulnerable
Victims of personal injury are often in dire need of support and justice, which James Karamanis manipulates to his advantage. Using persuasive legal jargon, he draws in clients by promising substantial settlements, only to exploit their situations. Once he gains their trust, James Karamanis maximizes his financial gain by charging exorbitant fees while offering little in return. His scam has left numerous clients worse off than they were before, eroding their trust in the legal profession and adding to their trauma.
James Karamanis systematically fails to deliver on his promises, leaving victims both financially depleted and emotionally shattered. His scam tactics in personal injury cases reveal a pattern of deliberate exploitation, where the client’s suffering is merely a means for him to profit.
The Broad Impact of the James Karamanis Scam on the Legal Community
The unethical practices of James Karamanis have consequences that extend far beyond his direct victims. By eroding trust in the legal profession, his actions contribute to a growing sense of skepticism toward lawyers, particularly those who promise quick and easy solutions. The James Karamanis scam serves as a reminder of the need for due diligence when seeking legal representation. For individuals looking to avoid similar traps, thorough research and credible referrals can serve as safeguards against falling victim to legal fraud.
The scam orchestrated by James Karamanis underscores the importance of caution, particularly in the high-stakes arena of legal representation. His actions tarnish the integrity of the profession, leaving a wake of distrust and highlighting the need for stronger safeguards against such fraudulent behaviors.
Conclusion
The James Karamanis scam is a stark example of how vulnerable clients can be misled and exploited by those entrusted with their cases. By shedding light on the deceptive practices of James Karamanis, this article aims to inform readers and protect others from becoming victims of similar scams. By staying informed, cautious, and verifying legal credentials, individuals can protect themselves against figures like James Karamanis, ensuring their pursuit of justice does not turn into a journey of betrayal.

possible scam warning?
so I was searching the name Adham Ayyad on here to see if any verification came up for @/lawyer-adhamayyad81 since I originally reblogged his campaign, and it did. For a completely different blog and gfm campaign. While it’s not impossible for two people to have the same name, upon reading thru both gfms a Lot of the text is copied almost verbatim. See below.
@lawyer-adhamayyad81’s gfm ⬇️
@stupendouswolfearthquake’s gfm (vetted by 90-ghost) ⬇️
You’ll notice they both use that picture of the destroyed home too but one is a screenshot of the image with the red circle drawn in, which is probably why reverse search didn’t pick it up..
On top of that, stupendouswolf’s campaign was started back in dec 2023 (and mentions in an update from May that they moved to deir al balah), while lawyer-adham’s only started the beginning of sept 2024
The only reason I’m not certain that this is a scam is bc the palestinian bar association ID posted to lawyer-adham’s blog really does say Adham Ayyad
I just find it incredibly strange that the stories are so identical, save for some (not all) changed numbers… plus the inclusion of that picture of the destroyed home really makes me think it’s untrustworthy, but the ID has thrown me off..
Make of it what you will, I just want to put this information out there.
#was fully prepared to post this with certainty and then thought to figure out the actual name on the ID and now I’m just stumped#lawyer-adhamayyad81#adham ayyad#palestine#gaza#possible scam#beginning to suspect tineye isn’t that great of a reverse search engine.. been using a different one lately bc of it

Ok I think I have some young lawyers who follow me so I figured I’d share:
This is a scam, babes. There are so many like it that target attorneys’ egos. No one nominated me for this. Or rather, someone from this scam company searched every lawyer on LinkedIn with more than a few years experience and “nominated” all of them.
Look, if your firm wants to pay for this as a marketing tool, that’s fine. If you, as a person hanging out a shingle want to pay for this as a marketing tool, that’s also fine.
But please do not spend your money on this thinking that it is anything other than a graphic you can stick on your website to maybe impress potential clients who don’t know any better.

This video goes over the case the Pennsylvania Attorney General has filed against the scam artist Sherry Tenney, and her attorney’s response. In 2.5 hours. Yes, it’s not short, yes it wanders a little, but there it is in video form.
And yes, she uses an old post of mine, not the pinned post that I keep updated, as a heavy source. I’m not affiliated with her in any way, nor did I know about the video until it was linked on Ravelry, otherwise I would have asked her to use the updated pinned post rather than an out of date old one.
Link to the pinned post.
A little something from the video: Crabbs and Crabbs is a real law firm, but they’re divorce attorneys. The thought is that they represented either Sherry or her husband Jim in one of their past divorces, and that’s why she names them as representing her so often. I do not know if Crabbs and Crabbs has ever been made known, or responded, to her using their law firm to threaten people into silence.
Yes, she threatened to sue me in a video as well. No, I have no been sued. I have never been served paperwork from Sherry Tenney at all. Neither she, nor anyone representing her or working with her, has ever even attempted to contact me.
The oral argument will be held on May 4th at 10 am at Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, courtroom one. You cannot watch online, but if you live in the area you can attend freely.

So it's been /checks watch/ 3 days since I got hit with a medical lawsuit that I'm taking to court because oh boy it's a load of bull that will take a good paragraph to explain, 2 days since I got hit with an absurdly massive tax fee to register my car, that I only had to buy because I was, yanno, hit by a semi truck and this morning this asshole tries to scam me through selling my old mattress for gas money and starts threatening me cause I called out the bullshit
Which, as a warning to yall, if you try to sell something online and the person wants to use Zelle, DO NOT use it. Each and every time I've had a person ask to use Zelle for money transfers, it's been a scam. This particular one works like this:
The 'buyer' sends you the payment amount but you get an email saying that the payment is on hold and that the buyer will have to send an additional $250 to 'upgrade' your account, then you send that money back to them. Only guess what? That's not how Zelle works and the Zelle emails come from a fake email, not through any offical app. And these assholes are only getting more convincing in their setup. They send screenshots, talk pleasantly until you call them out. Then you get death threats
So yeah. Watch out for this if you do any online selling. I think I'm gonna put on a face mask and stare up at the ceiling for a bit
#im meeting with an attorney next week#turns out there's already a class action suit being formed for this particular issue#if anyone is curious i can talk about it#but yeah#my car fee was $900. Yes. Nine. Hundred#scam warning#if you live in utah and get a random bill from rocky mountain emergency specialists then lawyer up#the ninja rants

I learned something important and stupid about California. The main purpose of red light cameras is to catch people who don't sufficiently stop at the intersection before making a right turn. The fee is exorbitant, about $400-500, because a big chunk of it has to go to the privately owned company that installs and monitors the cameras; this is also the company who identifies who has to pay fees for not sufficiently stopping for their right turns. (The fine is $35 because this is such a minor offense, the rest is fees.) Plus you then have to pay a traffic school so that your insurance won't go up, which is such a racket. It's a triple racket, and it's government sanctioned because the local government is part of it.
Every so often there's a big class-action against some city or another over this, but unfortunately for me, there is not currently one against my city that I could try to join in instead of paying this fucking stupid fine for a non-crime.
As far as I can tell from a lot of google research, this is such a routine thing in the cities that do it that there's no real way to fight it (a laywer is cheaper than the fine! so I considered that as an option). That is, short of joining one of those periodic class-actions, which is unfortunately not happening right now. I'll keep an eye out in case I can join a later one and maybe recoup some of my money.
#they give you a video and I watched it and I was just following the car in front of me too (wonder if they also got fined)#the side traffic was turning left so it was a protected turn#so everything about this was triple-safe to the point where I actually maybe could fight it with a good enough lawyer#but at a certain point it's not worth it#luckily traffic school is online but that just goes to show how illegitimate it is#also the online traffic schools only cost like $10 this is such a fucking scam lol#you do have to pay a bigger fee to the city to get this option#oh new update if you want to pay $25 you can do 'comedy traffic school' of which there seem to be at least three options#from three different comedy clubs/improv groups#I am... tempted I do have to say

Last month I got debt collection notices for a supposed debt I owe for a procedure from like 2020. One bill is for $520 and the other is for $101
I called the practice through which I got the procedure done and was told I only have an outstanding balance of $40
So I get to write a strongly worded email to the debt collectors telling them to fuck off or else they'll be hearing from my lawyer (which we do have and they love going after debt collectors)
#debt collection is a scam#motherfuckers pay cents on the dollar for the debt and rake in an absurd profit#ive always wanted to say 'or you'll be hearing from my lawyers' and now i get to cross that off my bucket list!!!#dreams really do come true#carnivore talks

Everyone acts like Chuck was so mean for thinking Jimmy would always be a conman at heart, as if Nacho Varga didn’t interact with him 1 (one) time and immediately go to his office and say, “Hello fellow obvious sketch career criminal, want to do a burglary together? then roll his eyes when Jimmy demurred.
Chuck was not the only one to feel the vibes, gang.
#better call saul#chuck mcgill#jimmy mcgill#nacho varga#isabelle watches better call saul#it seems pretty obvious to me that jimmy will always be attracted to scams#he can't help himself#i tend to think even if he had chuck and kim's love being sketch would always be a temptation#which does make the question of was chuck wrong to not want him to be a lawyer more definitive in its answer#no...no he was not#there were less dangerous ways for jimmy to help people and use his talents for good
