I know I’m not the first person to say this but godddd Hawkfrost being the father of the three would have worked so much better for the story on every level… Leafpool and Squirrelflight having even more reason to keep the secret bc that guy tried to kill their dad/Thunderclan’s leader! Brambleclaw unknowingly raising the children of the murderous half-brother he killed… Lionblaze training with Hawkfrost in hell… the parallels between Brambleclaw killing Hawkfrost at the river and Hollyleaf killing Ashfur at the river… Hawkfrost’s ghost eventually killing Hollyleaf!! Mothwing stealing her pos brother’s girlfriend… we could have had it all

Lavender is my narilamb fankid. Lamb and Nari "made" them completely by accident, and not with sex. Lavender literally just spawned appeared already walking. Technically they do not have a mother.

Fun fact! Lavender is mute. They're also AMAB nonbinary, like their parent.

Also apparently nonbinary parents day was April 18th oops! Have a rare moment in which Lamb acknowledges their baby.

Fun fact about Lamb! They want nothing to do with this child, so they leave it with Narinder and ask him to keep it far away. Lavender reminds them too much of their dead family, whose fate was sealed by Lamb

Another fun fact! This lamb's "real" name is Daffodil. They don't like to be called that though...

Kris/Jan, childhood friends reunion. 8k words. Rated T.

“I can’t believe I used to be taller than you.”

“Jan, that was ten years ago,” Kris points out.

“Still,” Jan doubles down. “Just—” He lets the started sentence hang in the space between them for a bit, eyes still locked on Kris’s face, before Jan closes the distance and pulls him into a hug.

Immediately, Kris feels all nervous energy seep out from his body into the chilly November air around them. It’s replaced with a warmth that no jacket, no scarf would be able to provide. He sinks into the hug, allows himself to bury his face in Jan’s shoulder, and feels him tighten his grip around Kris’s back.

“I’ve missed you,” is whispered into Kris’s neck.

Something hard unclenches in Kris’s chest. “I’ve missed you too,” he responds, almost choking up at the thought that the person those words are directed at gets to hear them. “God, you have no idea.”
