My version of That 90s Show, if my verse didn't exist.

First, I'm setting the show in 1998. It pays homage to the OG show's start date, and it makes logistical sense. Betsy exists, and Jay is Kelso and Brooke's son. Plus, they missed a great opportunity to include younger siblings for both realism and comic relief (so no more Kitty as weird comic relief, eww).

Characters I'm keeping:

Gwen Marie Runck (born May 31, 1983: ESTP, 7w8): No significant changes, other than the hc that she's bi.

Nicole "Nikki" Maria Garcia (born November 10, 1982; ISTJ, 6w5): No significant changes, other than Nate and Nikki never dating, and the lore I've personally established (aka, being Buddy's niece).

Altering:

Lucy Katherine Forman (born July 19, 1983. INFJ, 4w5. Played by Raegan Revord): Named after Eric's favorite Star Wars protagonist, Lucy was an unexpected light in Eric and Donna's lives. She's smart, snarky, and craves adventure, even though she can be a bit of a starry-eyed idealist and a goody two shoes. She loves music, the oboe, books, the debate team, and is fairly politically minded. She may be a bit awkward, but she has a big heart.

She hasn't seen Jay since last summer, and he's certainly grown up, that's for sure. Her intense crush begins, minus the weird kissing frenzy at the mall, but she also has feelings for the girl next door...

John "Jay" Michael Kelso (born April 2, 1982. ISFP, 6w7. Played by Dylan Kingwell): Kelso and Brooke's son. Based on Jay's original description. He always has a video camera in his hand, with an artsy but vaguely pretentious aura, but he always has his heart on his sleeve. He gets straight As in school, and is smart like his mother, but can be a goofy flirt like his dad. Well, he tries to be.

Nathan "Nate" Casey Kelso (born December 8, 1981. ESFJ, 6w7): Casey and Sherri's son. He's a loveable goofball and a passionate football player. He's super close to his cousin Jay, but in a far less cringey way. Oh, and the random Nate and Leia plot twist doesn't happen here.

Removing:

Oscar "Ozzie" Chen: He's a walking stereotype, so bye.

Adding (main):

William "Will" James Hyde (born September 8, 1983. ESFP, 2w3. Played by Noah Jupe): A chill version of his mom Jackie, he's firmly in the closet. He's a popular football player, and him possibly coming out as gay terrifies him. He wouldn't be accepted by his peers, and it fucking sucks.

Elizabeth "Betsy" Victoria Kelso (born January 15, 1979. INTP, 6w5. Played by a young Minka Kelly): Kelso and Brooke's smart, scheming daughter. She often puts her nose where it doesn't belong.

Sarah Michelle Kelso (born March 16, 1985. ESFP, 7w6. Played by Julia Butters): Kelso and Brooke's ditzy but sweet daughter. She's close to Lauren, and has a crush on Nic Hyde.

Dominic "Nic" Steven Hyde (born April 21, 1985. ESTP, 7w8. Played by Mason Thames): Jackie and Hyde's loud, wild child son. Named after both Donna and Eric. He's always getting into trouble, often with Sarah and Lauren by his side.

Lauren Anne Forman (born February 12, 1986. ISTP, 6w5. Played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong): Eric and Donna's snarky, athletic daughter. Named after her Aunt Laurie. A firm tomboy, she'd much rather be playing basketball or fixing cars with grandpa Red than any of the girly crap most other girls like. She's already on the JV basketball team, and has her mother's jump shot (and her dad's last name). Also has a crush on Nic.

I've met a lot of nice people along the way but I'm very blessed to have met @supernannygirl704things @that70sshowgoldencouple @that90sshowgoldencouple aka Priscilla.

She wrote this sweet and thoughtful post and saw parallels between these two shows and characters and I'm in love 🤩😍. I literally had a tear because it was just so nice to see how much I meant to her.

We've both supported each other's works, left comments and overall love. And I just love how positive and warming she is. It's so nice to be able to share my love for Red & Kitty but also C.C and Niles with someone who loves them as well. From my very first video I made for Red and Kitty to all my recent work she's always left me loving comments and has always helped me go into a better direction with my stories.

She just is a really great friend and I have nothing but nice things to say about her.

So to wrap this up thank you so much for everything. And thank you for everything you've done for both couples. And thank you for being a great friend this year.

Her bir Hindu'ya 2 Adet Müslüman düşmektedir ve her bir Budist'e karşılık 2 Müslüman vardır ve her bir Yahudi'ye karşılık 100 Müslüman bulunmaktadır.

Müslümanlar bu kadar kalabalıklar ama neden güçsüzler?

İslam Konferansı Örgütü'nün (OIC) 57 üyesi vardır ve ülkelerin tümünde sadece 500 adet üniversite bulunmaktadır. Yani üniversite başına 3 milyon Müslüman düşmektedir. Başka bir deyişle 3 milyon kişi için bir üniversite yapılmıştır. Bunların kalitesi de başka bir sorundur.

Fakat sadece ABD'de 5 bin 758 adet üniversite vardır.

Shanghai Jiao Tong Üniversitesi tarafından 2004 yılında hazırlanan “Dünya Üniversitelerinin Akademik Değer Listesi”ne Müslüman çoğunluğa sahip ülkelerin hiçbirinden ilk 500’e giren tek bir üniversite yoktu.

Neden?

UNDP tarafından toplanan verilere göre Hıristiyan Dünyasında okuma yazma bilenlerin oranı

% 89’dur. Bunların %98’i ise en az ilkokul mezundur ve 100 kişiden 40’ı üniversite mezunudur.

15 Hıristiyan çoğunluğa sahip ülkedeki okuma yazma oran ise %100’dür, yani bu 15 ülkede okuma, yazması olmayan tek kişiye rastlamak olası değildir.

Müslüman ülkelerde durum bunun tersidir: 100 kişiden sadece 40’ı okuma yazma bilir ve herkesin okur yazar olduğu bir tek Müslüman ülke bulunmamaktadır!

Bunların %50’si ilkokulu, yalnızca %2’si üniversiteyi bitirmiştir.

BİLİM İNSANLARININ ORANLARI DA ÇOK DÜŞÜK

ABD’de toplam bilim insanı sayısı 4.000, Japonya’da 5.000’dir. 57 Müslüman çoğunluğa sahip ülkelerdeki toplam bilim adamı sayısı ise sadece 230 kişidir.

Akademisyenlerin hepsi bilim insanı değildir. Bilim insanı demek, pozitif bilimlerle aktif olarak uğraşan kişi demektir. Her 1 milyon Müslüman kişiye yalnızca 1 bilim insanı düşmektedir.

Teknisyenler bakımından Müslüman çoğunluklu Arap ülkelerdeki durum daha da kötüdür.

Her 1 milyon Müslüman Arap nüfus içinde 50 teknisyen bulunmaktadır. Hıristiyan dünyasında ise her bir milyon kişi içinde 1000 teknisyen bulunmaktadır.

NEDEN?..

YANIT: Kalitesiz, ezberci eğitim ve ARGE’ye araştırma geliştirmeye yeterli kaynak ayrılmaması.

Çünkü Müslümanlar gayri safi milli gelirin yalnızca % 0,2’sini araştırma, geliştirme bütçesi olarak ayırıyor.

Buna karşın Hıristiyan dünyası araştırma, geliştirmeye % 5 oranında, yani 25 kat daha fazla fon ayırmaktadır.

SONUÇ

İslam dünyası yeni bilgi üretebilecek kapasiteden yoksundur. Ayrıca dünyanın ürettiği bilgiyi kendi halklarına öğretmekte de başarısızdır. Bunun kanıtı ise ileri teknoloji ihracat rakamlarında saklıdır:

~Pakistan’ın ileri teknoloji ihracatının toplam ihracatın içindeki oran %1’dir.

Kelso cheered when red sparks burst high above his house. The rocket firework had successfully launched from his backyard after sunset. Neither he or Fez lost any fingers. They could do the same in the Formans' backyard on Halloween. The party was eleven days from now. Firing one or two rockets wouldn't be irresponsible if done correctly.

"Did you have to set that off so close to me?" Fez shouted at him.

Kelso waved at him dismissively. "I saw your eyes light up. You liked it."

Fez's jaw clenched, and he stamped his foot on a patch of grass. "Yes, I did, you magnificent bastard. You're lucky Brooke isn't here."

"Why do you think I invited you to test these rockets with me on a Friday night? She's at that improv class with Betsy. Brooke is getting funnier, by the way."

"That is good. Maybe her stiff humor won't kill our couples dinners anymore."

"Yeah ... " Kelso set up another firework rocket on the lawn. He'd get away with two, tops, without the neighbors narcing on him. "Brooke got that stiffness from her mother and aunts. She's lucky I accidentally got her pregnant, or she might've turned into a tree stump."

Fez backed off from the unlit firework to the backyard fence. He stuffed his gloved hands into his coat pockets. The evening was cold, and Kelso copied Fez by putting his own ungloved hands into his jacket pockets. He couldn't afford his fingers to become stiff.

"What's wrong, my friend?" Fez said. "Your mood has changed."

"Damn. You're a freaking mind-reader, and I wasn't even thinking about what's bugging me."

Fez nodded at him to go on, and Kelso did. "Last night, Me, Brooke, and Betsy had dinner with the family of a girl Betsy's friends with. This girl, Lauren, has a younger sister -- " he squinted, going through the night in his memory -- "Jenny! She's five, half Betsy and Lauren's age, but they let her play with them anyway. They had a lot of fun."

"I'm not hearing a problem."

"There's a huge problem, Fez! I made a mistake by not having another kid years ago."

"It's not too late." Fez pulled his hands from his pockets and gestured to the rocket firework. "You told Brooke you wouldn't use those at the Formans' Halloween party, but you got a lesson in firework safety, and you learned it."

Kelso hiked his shoulders to his ears. "Kids aren't fireworks. And Betsy'll be eleven years older than her sister or brother. I'm eight years older than the twins. I hosed crap off their asses when they were babies, but we barely know each other."

"So what? As long as a family is happy, it does not have to fit a certain mold ... unlike candy, which does."

"Man ... " Betsy's first smile rose in Kelso's mind, then her first laugh. "I love being a dad to my kid."

Fez stepped closer to him. "And also being a dad?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I do."

"I saw your eyes light up. What are you thinking?"

"That me and Brooke have to get drunk at the Molly Hatchet concert in December. They're playing a show at Biddy Mulligan's, and we've got tickets. I can't believe we snagged them! The fact they're playing only six shows this year and one of them's in Chicago can't be a coincidence."

Fez opened his mouth, like he had an idea or opinion, but he shut it again.

"Then we can do it in the bathroom," Kelso went on. "But I gotta make sure Brooke stays off her birth control."

"If you tell her you're open to having another child, I don't believe that will be a problem."

An excited, happy sensation bounced in Kelso's stomach. "We should fire off that rocket to celebrate."

"Sure -- " Fez removed his gloves -- "but this time I'll fire it."

"Just be sure to avoid my 'nads. I'm gonna need those."

Fez grinned in such a way that made Kelso cover his crotch protectively. After all the times Kelso had lit firecrackers under Fez's butt, he was within his right to get revenge. But the rocket shot straight into the night sky and exploded in orange light.

This Halloween was going to be awesome.
