More DT/PKNA headcanons
As much as I like to imagine scenarios between Odin and Donald in my head, Ducktales isn't just made of Donald Duck; so what would the relationships be like between Odin and the rest of the cast? So here we go:
Killmotor Hill residents
Scrooge Mcduck: Odin and Scrooge are courteous to each other, although Odin is annoyed that Scrooge unintentionally brought harm to Donald during his adventures, while Scrooge secretly believes that Odin is too young, and therefore inexperienced, to go into business with him.
HDL: Huey, Dewey and Louie admire Odin from the first moment they meet him (Huey for his intelligence, Dewey for his popularity and charm, Louie simply because he is rich), but over time they get to know him better and Odin becomes a second guardian after Donald Duck.
Webby Vandequack: At first she’s suspicious of Odin because no one really knows anything about him, and the fact Scrooge doesn’t trust him might have influenced her, but changes her mind after her grandma vouched for him.
Beakley: Being a former S.H.U.S.H. agent, Beakley already knew One, so it wasn't difficult for her to recognize him in his new body; she had thwarted several cases thanks to the information given to her by Uno so she already trusted the Artificial Intelligence, it is not difficult for her to trust him now.
Della Duck: Della never knew Donald had a close friend outside of the manor, but she always felt sad when her brother would prefer spend time with said friend than his sister and uncle, so even back from the moon Della is jealous of Donald and Odin’s close bond and would try to follow them.
Launchpad Mcquack: These two are polar opposites; they don’t hate each-other but never put them in the same room, you would feel the awkwardness from a mile away.
Duckworth: I don’t think ghosts and androids mix well.

"Trio Plane Princess"
Finally, I drew my headcanon for years, a trio in Kingdom Hearts, where Kairi teams up with Della Duck (Donald's sister) and Launchpad McQuack (Scrooge McDuck's pilot).
And re-design the attire of both Della as a knight and Launchpad as a dimensional pilot.
Kairi's relationship with Della and Launchpad started as friends and then something more familial.
And adding some cameos.
Touch the image for a better view of the sketches.
I'll see if I can expand on this, because I genuinely enjoy doing it.

A post-finale Webby, May, and June centric episode idea I think is neat
🦆
- May and June get accepted as part of the family pretty quickly
- Instead, it's them who take a bit longer to warm up to the others
- Not that they particularly dislike the Mcducks. It's just that they don't want a repeat of the Bradford-Heron situation, having to constantly strive to earn love and affection
- Yes, they were happy when Donald suggested them joining him and Daisy on their trip, but that was mostly due to relief that they'd be taken care of
- Webby notices how distant they are from the rest of the family and encourages them to bond with the others but to an excessive degree
- While she has learnt a lot in the time she's spent in the outside world, Webby still spent at least a decade with no one but her Granny and Scrooge who she hardly saw. I don't think she'd gain perfect social skills that fast. Sure, she's more capable now, but she's not exactly great in social situations and doesn't comprehend others' emotions well
- She doesn't really understand why May and June are reluctant to participate in family bonding or why instead of referring to the Mcducks as their family, they call them "the people we're currently staying with" and they don't tell her why either because they know how much she loves the Mcducks
- Webby confides her worries with the triplets who, being more socially aware, tell her that they probably just aren't ready yet
- She's very confused by this. Webby has wanted nothing but a family for years so it makes sense that she wouldn't get why May and June wouldn't immediately be thrilled at having one
- She goes to overboard trying to show them how amazing having a family as big and diverse as theirs is. Very overboard. The in-your-face kind
- Webby takes them around Duckburg(and beyond), enlisting the help of whichever family member is usually at the location she brings her sisters to
- They go to all sorts of locations like the lab where Webby forces Gyro(and Fenton but he's onboard from the get go) to go along with her plan; St Canard where she talks Drake into being involved; the library where Violet is persuaded to help; and Ithaquack, Webby getting even the gods to join her scheme
- Unfortunately for her, chaos ensues at every stop, leaving her panicking because maybe she's only convinced them to avoid the family even more
- May and June are frustrated too but for a different reason. Webby's just being too pushy. They understand what she's trying to do, but it's not helping. They need time to process everything that happened with FOWL
- This culminates in them saying exactly that, having had enough of Webby being so determined to get them to instantly be ready to join the family
- Webby realizes just how overbearing she's been and runs off by herself. Della ends up having a heart to heart with her. She knows what it's like to be to pushy with the people you love because of how enthusiastic you are to see relationships blossom(see: Nothing can stop Della Duck). She tells Webby that although she's excited, strong relationships take time and that she needs to give May and June time to find their places within the family just like she did
- I think, as a nice callback to the Put a Moonlander on Earth episode where Webby has a conversation with Penumbra about her struggling to adjust to new things(being on Earth), it'd be cool if while Webby was having her own talk with Della, May and June were having one with our favorite Moonlander
- Penumbra can definitely relate to how May and June feel. She was extremely against giving Earth a chance after that failed date with Launchpad, but she eventually did and ended up really enjoying herself
- May and June end up realizing that while they're completely justified in needing time, they shouldn't close themselves off forever and be a bit more open to the idea of being a part of the family
- The girls end up reconciling and coming to an understanding. Will it take a while for May and June to be truly comfortable? Yes, but that doesn't mean they won't and they're willing to put in the effort to become it :)
- anw that's it!!
me basically
this was much longer than i expected it to be 😭
#will anyone even read this whole thing why did i make it so long ☹️#ducktales 2017#ducktales#webby vanderquack#may duck#june duck#may and june duck#webby may and june#ducktales reboot#ramblings

DuckTales THEORY: Team Who?
Hello Duckblr! We know that in DuckTales 2017, Huey, Dewey and Webby have their own definite cliques, but what if this idea were to extend to each of the six Duck children in hypothetical future seasons?
TLDR: If DuckTales kept going on, we would have seen more Louie/Doofus/Goldie episodes. May's interrogative side can blend her in with the Rescue Rangers.
Team Science (Huey)
Huey's group of allies usually revolves around working on scientific breakthroughs and his hero, Gizmoduck. Huey stories would usually involve these specific characters:
Gyro Gearloose
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Gizmoduck)
Manny
BOYD
Gandra Dee
Huey's enemy is usually Mark Beaks, a businessman who makes his living off dumb and/or stolen ideas, which is totally against his moral code. If executed better, Dr. Akita could make a better contender.
Team Action (Dewey)
Dewey's group of allies usually revolves around getting into dangerous situations, definitely not due to the influence of Launchpad or his very own mother, Della. Dewey stories would usually involve these specific protagonists:
Launchpad McQuack
Della Duck
Drake Mallard (DW)
Gosalyn Waddlemeyer (an extension of DW)
Kit and Molly
Dewey's enemy is usually Don Karnage, a deranged air pilot who will go to any lengths to gain vengeance on him. Falcon Graves has also appeared in Dewey stories, a serious contender for his showboating.
Team Scheme (Louie)
Despite being shown to be a charmer in the show, Louie falls flat when it comes to making secure friends, especially when it's in his nature that he is the 'evil triplet' of the Duck boys. However, the cunning antihero, Goldie O'Gilt is quite fond of him. Louie stories would definitely involve these specific characters:
Goldie O'Gilt
Doofus Drake
Ottoman Brothers (placeholder because they're always in the background of Louie stories)
Although Louie completely destroyed Glomgold in S2, I'd love to see Rockerduck as his enemy, as the Wild West Swindler has a more interesting way to battle - with his words, instead of his fists.
Team Magic (Webby/April)
Webby's group of allies usually revolves around trying to fix the curses laid out from Scrooge's adventures, or his most powerful enemy, Magica De Spell. Webby stories would usually involve these specific characters:
Lena Sabrewing
Violet Sabrewing
Blackarts Beagle (redemption arc??)
Phantom Blot and Pepper (maybe they're forced to team-up??)
Morgana (placeholder because they don't have a grown-up hero)
Webby and Lena's enemy is usually Magica De Spell, a witch who wants to use her powers to abuse and take advantage of others, completely opposite to how Webby wants to play.
Team Mystery (May)
Despite the wishes of her current guardian, Donald Duck, I could see May get into contact with her ilk, also experimented on by FOWL - no other than the Rescue Rangers themselves!
Chip and Dale
Gadget Hackwrench
Monterey Jack
Zipper
...and maybe Detective Gokart from the comics (a loser that May could help to become a better person)
Perhaps the Rescue Rangers have found a larger FOWL experiment gone rogue and they need a heroine around their size to help bring the experiment to justice.
Team ??? (June)
Team Sports? Team Wellbeing? Team Theatre? Team Adorable? It seems that poor June is the only one I can't think of for a team.
By process of elimination, the only frequent group of protagonists without a child character to support them are the gods/goddesses of Ithaquack.
Bum Bum Ghigno, an everyday person from the comics might help her appreciate the normal and might draw parallels between the clone twins and his relationship with his brother.
I'd love to put the Idle Hour Club from Donald's first ever cartoon somewhere, but those stories wouldn't be fun.

I once again I just came u with a random thought in bed last night.
If Quack Pack was the follow up series to the 1980s Ducktales series then there should be a Quack Pack reboot as well with the 2017 series.
I mean think about it. Its 4-5 years into the future. The triplets are 16. (Idk the rest ages.)
Louie, inspired by his mystic trial with Scrooge is studying to open a Lawyer and opening his own agency. (Louie inc.)
Huey has not only become a Sr. Woodchuck but also is well on his way to becoming a scout leader. (May or may not be dating either Violet or Boid.)
And Dewey is trying to find his big break in being a movie star.
This could eventually open up new themes that was not explored in DUcktales 2017.
What's Scrooge and Webbys dynamic? Is she following the footsteps of good ol Scrooge? Or carving a new path? Has Donald returned from his adventure with Daisy and their girls yet?
Do the triplets get to meet their dad? (I vote that he was an agent of fowl and tricked Della into a relationship.
Do Della and Donald get to reunited with their parents?
Is Launchpad working with both Darkwing and Gizmo duck? What are they doing?
My idea of the perfect finale for this is: Scrooge puts the same immortality spell as he did with his parents and siblings on the rest of his family. And they all live happily ever after :)

Helloo! Ur Addams family AU illustration is AMAZING I LOVE IT, i was drawn to ur page instantly. Jst wanted to ask fr ur take on Goldie and Scrooge in this AU (im a sucker fr the 2 oldies) - will we get any Gomez & Morticia vibes from those 2? I doubt DT17 Goldie can stay put though
Goldie, Goldie, Goldie. I've been ruminating on her for a while.
Because in a lot of ways the relationship is unchanged in the addams au. We've already seen Goldie and Scrooge dance together under the duress of romantic tension so taut they may as well have been attached by steel cables. We've already seen Goldie and Scrooge walk suggestive circles around the elephant that is a tumultuous past charged with the fiery heat of molten gold. (literally. for both the elephant and the molten gol- you know what I mean)
Addams AU Goldie is much similar to Scrooge and the rest of the cast in that, foundationally and fundamentally, she's the same character. I'm tempted to have her be like Launchpad, and just stick canon Goldie in there with the AU crazies and just see how she adapts.
But that would mean missing out on some real BAMF Goldie action so. Nah. Nah let's lean in to the AU here.
Goldie O'Gilt in the Addams AU is a dark temptress. She loves the gold, the chase and the high stakes more than ever. But she also loves to make Scrooge squirm - Torturing him every now and then with a sudden reappearance and robbing him of something expensive he was JUST about to get his hands on, teasing him mercilessly (maybe spiriting him away to run suggestive circles around each other, steal a sinful kiss or two perhaps) before leaving him high, dry and waxing beautiful curses upon her name.
They're more than Batman and Catwoman, they're the bloodhound and the vixen. They don't quietly go their separate ways after every meeting pondering with a vague, untethered longing when they'd cross paths again. No, they are cleaved apart after every meeting. They plot and dream and terrorize themselves with the thought of meeting again, and in the meantime they bathe and wallow with great reverence in the sweet pain of being apart.
For pete's sake if the rest of the family weren't THIS family they'd be disgusted, concerned and probably collectively abandon him whenever Goldie's around. Fortunately they Are THIS family and so are really happy for him. Mostly. Dewey, Louie and Beakley still take great offense to the gross romanticism of it all.

So I finished DuckTales (2017), my thoughts:
⚠️ Spoilers ahead ⚠️
- Bradford Buzzard:
His feelings for hating adventure and chaos is valid but he should have told his grandma to fuck off and got therapy instead of trying to destroy it. Also its not his fault that Della took the Spear of Selene even if he told her about it.
You can’t have one thing without the other, there must be chaos if there is stability and vice versa.
- Webbigail Vanderquack and Bentina Beakly (Agent 22):
It was a good twist, but it makes me question where FOWL got Scrooge’s DNA to make Webby and why her exact clones (sisters) aren’t perceived as Scrooges kid like Webby is.
My theory: “The Papyrus of Binding only appears to a direct heir of Scrooge McDuck” I think it mean’s physically and emotionally. If June and May are Webby’s clones that means they are just as much Scrooge’s physical child as Webby is, except they don’t have a relationship with Scrooge. Scrooge even before knowing Webby was his kid thought of her like his Grandniece, like family, making her an heir like the boys.
For how much Beakly talked about how important and strong a family is together when getting the boys to talk to Scrooge again in Season 1, it doesn’t make much sense to have her go in alone without informing the family of what she knows of FOWL from SHUSH.
Goldie O’Gilt:
I love her so much, except in the ImpossiBin episode, there she was okay. At the end of the ImpossiBin episode Goldie calls Scooge assuming he took the fountain of youth when they agreed to keep it for both of them, (she went back to steal it for herself so she says). They made progress in the Youth Fountain episode and having Goldie call him about it being gone kinda defeats the whole purpose of their bonding in that episode. Except I understand they needed a character to tell him it was gone like the other missing mysteries but I find it defeated the whole point.
Lena and Violet Saberwing:
To me it looked like Violet’s parents adopted Lena and I’m all for that. Also love the hinted gay rep with their dads.
Magica De spell:
While it was Scrooge that blocked her spell, it was still her spell that she shot that turned her brother into a raven. Theres no reason or obligation for Scrooge to have caught him and give him to her when they were both terrible people. If anything her brother got a new chance at life as a raven instead.
I wish there was kinda a redemption arc when she was training Lena, if not for Lena a little redemption for Gladstone because I like those two.
Fenton Crackshell (GizmoDuck) and DarkWing Duck:
I like Drake with Fenton regardless if he’s Drake or playing DarkWing but I feel like he needs to accept that GizmoDuck is also a hero. Bro needs to know the difference between hero and vigilante.
Fenton is pretty bbg too <3
Launchpad McQuack:
Giant himbo and I love him so much.
Daisy Duck:
Love her, not much else to say. She had standards, that was clear when we heard what she said while driving away from their second date except she still fell in love and was willing to put up with Donald enough to go rescue him and keep going out. Overall a girl boss <3
Huey, Dewey and Louie:
While Dewey should have come forward earlier about looking for Della I understand his intentions more then Huey did when he found out. Louie was right, its not okay, but in the beginning Dewey was just trying to find if she was alive or not, not where she was. He was sorry because he ‘got caught’, he was genuinely sorry. It’s difficult to want to tell someone you’re finding all this stuff about someone you all seek when none of you know if they’re even alive or not. Dewey didn’t want them to lose hope that Della may be alive even if he found out she might not have. Yes he should have told them but I understand he didn’t want to them to be more hurt that she’s unalive instead of just missing. Also they aren’t even teenagers and communication skills are ass with teenagers what makes you think they’ll be any better as 10 year olds?
Again, their anger is misplaced when they’re mad at Scrooge for building a Spear of Selene.
Scrooge McDuck (sugar daddy?):
I like his character and I feel theres a bit of development through out the show with him and the kids, to be a teacher you need to be able to learn from your students.
While yes, he shouldn’t have built the rocket right there he also didn’t tell Della about it. Not his fault she left. Also the audacity to find out it wasn’t really his fault or the fact he nearly went bankrupt looking for her and they didn’t apologize at all.
Donald Duck (DILF):
Literally the best man in the whole show. He put his family first the whole time even when he should have taken breaks except he stepped up. We know that he had some form of falling out with Scrooge because of Della but even so he stepped up to take the kids and stayed in DuckBurg instead of moving anytime in the 10+ years they lived there. I have a feeling they stayed because he knew deep down that he could somewhat still count on Scrooge if not Beakly. Why else would he have stayed and gone to Beakly to watch the kids, granted he didn’t want to talk to Scrooge, Scrooge still took them in and watched them while Donald was off getting a job.
Donald may not be their bio-dad, but he is no way a fucking Uncle. He raised those boys by himself for 10+ years, through their formative years and until they were old enough to know he wasn’t their bio-dad. He stepped in to be a parent because Della chickened out and chose to go to space even when he told her she shouldn’t so she can be with her kids.
Donald Duck, not an uncle, a father.
Della Duck (cool-ish weird Aunt):
My opinion has not changed, she still isn’t a mother to me. Della is an estranged aunt that comes by and is the ‘cool aunt’. She willingly, without obligation, without threat, consciously CHOSE to leave her kids. Regardless of if she knew she would get killed or stuck in space, “there were too many variables” -Huey. She had a fight with Donald that specifically told her that it was a giant, dumb fucking idea with kids on the way. The idea that anyone would accept her back as a parent so blindly is so dumb. Yes she’s their egg-layer, but there is no way in hell she is their mother. A MOTHER would never choose to leave their children unless they positively fucking had too (obligation for safety). Whether or not she regrets it holds no power because she still chose to leave for a stupid reason.
Season 1 finale: “Get away from my kids” by Donald Duck will forever hold more power and significance then anytime she ever says it because she gave up parent rights before they were born. No parent would willingly, without valid cause like their safety (not fucking exploring space for funzys) would leave their child.
Over all:
Scrooge and Donald are DILFS and Della can get bent.

First sketch of launchpad & Donald and the latest : )
I love these guys!! I think they would be so sweet together like it's not a joke anymore I daydream about serious fics to write about for this little ship 😭
There's just so much to love about them 🎉 first of all I love Scrooge's and Launchpad's dynamic it's totally a disappointed but loving father and smart idiot son relationship 🩷🩷🩷 Scrooge is actually more disappointed in Donald than he is with Launchpad like imagine they get together, the amount of stress their idiot x idiot partnership they'd give him would lead to his first heart attack
Launchpad already thinks that he can get away with millions of dollars worth of property damage because he knows that Scrooge loves him, if Donald also realizes exactly how much Scrooge loves him deep deep down, he'd find a way to match Launchpad's debt in minutes
People seem to think that Launchpad has twig arms because it's absolutely true and canon in DuckTales but listen,
it's also absolutely true and canon that he has beefy arms here's proof
There he is with beefy arms I rest my case 🩷🎉
Also, Launchpad's voice right here in the 1987 DuckTales is superior in every way to the 2017 DuckTales
They massacred this loser 😭
But yeah idk why his arms change so much. Maybe he regularly switches things up in the gym. Or maybe he has unhealthy eating habits. Must be explored in depth inside my mind tomorrow morning <3

Reminds me of that split-second moment in "The Last Crash of the Sunchaser" where Scrooge says 'Nothing will happen to her!" and Beakley responds 'Her? Her who?' Launchpad then gets really sad and hesitates to follow Scrooge's orders which shocks Beakley.
Later, in the finale, when Beakley retells the story of what happened to Scrooge after Della disappeared to the boys, Webby, and Donald during the reunion party, the camera focuses on Launchpad and he starts to freak out. Once she's finished telling the story, Launchpad angrily shouts "A lot! This lady knows a lot!"
It makes me wonder what the relationship of Scrooge & LP was like before the boys came to visit and how LP came to learn the story of what happened to Della, seeing as he didn't know her and had no involvement with the Spear of Selene.
Ahh I don’t know how I missed this in my ask box, but everything about Beakley in Last Crash is such good storytelling as to the years they spent living together before the boys showed up. She’s got his number she was THERE to watch everything after it fell apart.
“I havent felt this energized since…”
She KNOWS
She KNOWS
LOOK AT HER FACE SHE WAS THERE FOR THE STORY HES ABOUT TO TELL THIS LADY KNOWS A LOT
Realizing now my reading comprehension is garbage at the moment anyway LP
I always took that moment with LP as a moment of clarity for him, like there is CLEARLY a conversation happening here that The Grown Ups are having that he doesn’t understand, and he looks around and realizes he’s one of The Grown Ups, and is put in a decision making position.
Like ^ love LP but Scrooge just made a HUGE slip up, and that boy is head. empty.
I do think it would have been interesting to have seen his take on it, but I’m realizing now in present day, his whole perspective on What Happened was completely based on what he can see. I’m not sure he ever considered what happened before, or why things are the way they are, just that This Is How It Is, you know? And the boys are here now, and so the most important thing is what’s in front of him, which is keeping them in the house. And then when Beakley lays out her “Hey, Scrooge is a person who went through something, have you considered he is still hurting, too?” it’s an awakening for him as well. I don’t think thought about it, either.
#honestly that episode is such a good character study for her she’s in control she’s proper she’s bossy but she’s also so empathetic#HES ABOUT TO TELL THE STORY OF THE WORST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED IN HIS 150 YEARS AND SHE KNOWS IT#I get really emotional thinking about how Beakley tries to defend Scrooge#they call him out on things he didn’t do and she’s like Hey that’s not how it happened-#bc she was THERE for everything in the flashbacks#ahhh#that’s her FRIEND she wants to drop kick him off the roof 6 days of the week but he’s her FRIEND

Hiya! I'd love to know more about your OCs, especially Michelle and Gwenlynx! 🙂↕️ Feel free to answer my questions if you're interested!:
What is Gwenlynx's personality like? Who is she friends with and does she have any enemies? Also, what is Michelle's personality like when she's by herself? And, what kind of hobbies does she like to do? :] finally, what is Michelle's relationship with the other main members of the Mickey and Friends cast?
Hiya!! I appreciate that you're interested in my OCs! It's something that I really like and it encourages me a lot 😊💕
Now, answering ur questions:
Previously, Gwenlynx would have a similar personality to Brat(from ppgnk): cocky, arrogant, someone who cares 'bout her very beauty, and possibly an "evil bitch personality"
Even her first design was similar to Brat's. It was then modified for the simple reason that it seemed very simple
Currently she still has some similarities with said character but other than that, she has her own unique details!
Gwenlynx has two best friends and these re: Michelle and Zierra
(although she usually gets along quite badly with Zierra, but the two of them understand each other)
She also gets along well with Louis, Mark Beaks, Launchpad, Mortimer and Gladstone (the latter being her boyfriend)
Of the ppl she mol gets along with re: Zeke Midas, Scrooge, Huey, Drake, Lena and Mickey
and finally, the ppl she doesn't like/hate re: her sister, Dixie; Magica de Spell, Minnie, Goofy, Clarabelle, Donald and Daisy (this being her enemy/rival)
Now, talking 'bout Michelle...
her personality is usually more fluid than her gender itself JSJJSJSS XD
Let's remember the reason why Michelle hates Minnie
"And what is the reason?"
very simple... ENVY/jealousy (although I won't mention the last one)
Once again I will remind you that, canonically, Michelle uses a wig and some artificial things (such as makeup, false eyelashes, etc)
She usually locks herself in the bathroom to... how to put it?... "to despise her ugliness"✨️ (Only once did Mortimer discover/find her crying...)
Michelle's hobbies are (or maybe): collecting star stickers, drawing (often), annoying/invading Minnie in her boring moments lmao
AND FINALLY (finally but FINALLY!)
This image represents a bit of how Michelle relates to the members of the Mickey and Friends se cast:
Through questions u ask me 'bout this I can answer them! ;)
I hope my answers have been helpful to you! ^^♡

DuckTales Character Songs! (Part 1)
I’ve been trying to come up with something unique to do here on Tumblr. And it always sorta came back to this. A couple reasons. 1. I had my own radio show in college, so I already know what it’s like to try and nail songs down for what you want to convey. 2. Last year, I did a bunch of playlists for Weblena Week, and I’d say it worked out pretty well.
So, I give to you: my list of DuckTales character songs! Now, I’m going to be sticking to one song per character, ones that I feel suit them very well. I’m going to start out here with the 9 principal characters, then major recurring characters from each of the seasons, totaling out to 4 parts in all.
Of course, I can’t take all the credit here. I’ve done a fair amount of brainstorming on this before with @glowyjellyfish. That said, let’s get started!
Scrooge McDuck
Money (That’s What I Want) by Barrett Strong
The song is kinda self-explanatory. Scrooge is one of the richest ducks in the world. He has an entire building for all of his savings. Plus, this sums up his mindset at the beginning of the series really well, before he really let himself open back up to his family. And this version of the song just has the right swaggering vibe to it. Also, RIP Barrett Strong.
Huey Duck
Surface Pressure by Jessica Darrow from Encanto
Just like Luisa Madrigal, Huey has all of this pressure on his shoulders as the oldest sibling. Trying to live up to expectations. He wants to show Dewey and Louie that he has it all together, but sometimes, he just doesn’t. It all builds up until it’s ready to blow.
Dewey Duck
Hall of Fame by The Script feat. will.i.am
Dewey is a very grandiose character. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was his daily mantra or something. “You could be the greatest, you can be the best, you can be the King Kong banging on your chest.” He wants to be seen. He wants to be a legend.
Louie Duck
Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears
Louie is ambitious. He wants to climb to the top of the food chain. He wants to rule the world. He knows it’s not going to be easy, he’ll have a lot of competition, but he won’t let it stop him.
Webby Vanderquack
Roar by Katy Perry
This one has definitely struck me as a Webby-ish song for some time. Seeing this song from her point of view, I’d say she’s kinda facing her past (“You held me down, but I got up”). She’s been sheltered for most of her life, and now that she has all these new opportunities, she’s going to break out and take them.
Donald Duck
Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra
This song is appropriate for Donald in two ways. One, the fact that he was stuck on the moon during the second half of Season 2. And two, his relationship with Daisy. After all, it is kind of a love song, too. Plus, I can totally see Daisy envisioning Donald singing like Sinatra, considering that one scene in Louie’s Eleven!
Bentina Beakley
Have You Got It in You? by Imogen Heap
At least in my opinion, it’s tough to find songs that really fit Mrs. Beakley. But I think this song definitely works for her. A lot of the time, Beakley tries to keep everything together, but she has to deal with a ton of bullshit on the daily, so it can be hard. I think the line “Let me have it all, let me have a battle on. Easy target, look, can we just, just get it over with?” suits her because of her spy background, and the fact that sometimes, all she probably wants to do is snap on somebody, get it out of the way, and get back to her task at hand.
Launchpad McQuack
Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra
I think the title is very appropriate, considering that Launchpad is a pilot. I think the tone of the song, as well as a few of the lyrics, very much suit his carefree personality. Even though he doesn’t always keep his eye ahead, Launchpad likes flying or driving around without a care in the world. Especially with Mr. Blue Sky out and about.
Della Duck
Got to Fly by Marian Call
This song perfectly sums up Della’s desire to go to the stars, then being stuck on the moon, having the consequences of what she did hit her all at once, and then having her mind racing at 1,000 miles an hour over all the things she needs to do, especially after she gets back home (ADHD struggles).
So that’s it for now! Next time around, I’ll be doing major recurring characters initially from Season 1. In the meantime, let me know what you think of these!

For the character ask game I choose... Bentina Beakley!
All righty! Beakley it is!
Sexuality Headcanon: Bi!
Gender Headcanon: Cis
A BROTP I have with said character: Scrooge and Launchpad. She relaxes over tea and chats with Scrooge, and bonds with LP over Darkwing Duck.
A ship I have with said character: I don't think I have one, honestly! Unless you count @lemonsherbetsss's incredible oc Babette Duboi (SO GOOD, I LOVE THEM SMMM). Buuuut, tho I'm still on the fence about this, I've sort of considered what a Beakley/Graves relationship would be life if he totally reformed.
A NOTP I have with said character: Heron/Beakley (I guess I could see a past relationship working, way before Heron shows her true evil colors). But not while present-day Bentina and Heron.
A random headcanon: She still enjoys bonding over DWD with Launchpad, and he once took her to St. Canard to meet his best friend who took up the mantle of the once-fictional crimefighter. Another headcanon I have is that she slept with many villainous men and women in an effort to get close to them for the good of the mission while on S.H.U.S.H. duty.
General Opinion over said character: My favorite female on the show, (with Della as a VERY close second). She's flawed, but she'd do anything for her granddaughter, and she kicks ass! She's amazing!!

This is a special gift for any of you who are fans of the father and son relationship between Gyro and Boyd that was inspired by a conversation I had with @shychick-52. I hope you will enjoy this little story I wrote.
It was a long and tiring day for Boyd and Gyro when they finally got home. They had just gotten back from what could be considered the adventure of a lifetime or what some liked to call “The Last Adventure”. The mission to shut down Fowl for good was tremendous since it was partially a rescue for Huey and Webby, then everyone involved was trying to figure out what exactly the fiendish organization was planning, which turned out to be Bradford wanting to erase anything adventurous from existence and that included anyone that was associated with Scrooge McDuck. Thankfully the entire McDuck family succeeded in stopping that from occurring and just as they were headed home in the Sunchaser, Launchpad accidentally caused the occupants of the plane to be launched out into the open sky with what seemed like no way of avoiding a huge and terrible fall all the way to the ground. Luckily for Gyro, Boyd was there to catch him and he flew them all the way to Duckburg with his rocket feet for several hours leading to Boyd being exhausted once he landed them all safely home. Gyro took notice of this and decided to carry him to his bedroom where he could lay on the bed he designed specifically for Boyd to help recharge him. As Gyro started gently tucking Boyd into bed, he couldn’t help but think about the events that happened just hours ago and how terrified he was for Boyd throughout the entire ordeal. He may not have shown it but when he heard what Fowl’s ultimate plan was he became instantly concerned about whether or not he would see his definitely real boy again. Then to add more fuel to the fire when he saw that Dewey and Louie, who were the kid’s leaders while the adults tried to stop Fowl, were in front of his cell with none of the others in sight he internally began to worry about what had caused them all to be separated in the first place and he wanted to ask questions, but time was of the essence so he told them, in his own scientific words, how to open the cell doors in the hopes that once they had released their brother they would help him get out so he could begin his own search for Boyd to make sure nothing terrible had happened to him. Unfortunately he ended up getting captured by May and June who tied him up before he even had the chance to look for Boyd. When all the danger had passed he finally reunited with Boyd whose head was not attached to his own body, but instead Lil’ Bulb had looked after his brother like Gyro had asked by giving his body to Boyd resulting in a combo Gyro had hoped to never see again for as long as he lived, Lil’ Boyd. Gyro had asked the children how that happened and they weren’t willing to say anything about it at first, but when they saw how upset he was about Boyd’s predicament they told him about the plane crash which sent Gyro into an even bigger spiral of concern for Boyd with him constantly asking if he was alright and then searching for his body like his own life depended on it. Only when Boyd was safe and sound in his arms did Gyro finally feel completely at ease and seeing Boyd sleeping peacefully in the comfort of his own home brings a loving smile on Gyro’s face. As he goes to give Boyd a sweet kiss on the top of his head good night Gyro notices a soft and trilling noise that seems to be coming from, to his surprise, his own self. All his life he knew that chickens can purr, but he never once had an experience quite like this until now and looking down at his precious little creation he realized exactly why he was making this soothing sound to begin with. Gyro Gearloose is the happiest he’s ever been in his entire life! This realization made Gyro smooth back Boyd’s hair so it wouldn’t get in his face, gives him a gentle kiss on the forehead, says “Good night, Boyd” in the softest voice anyone has ever heard from him, and just as he’s about to head into his own room to go to bed he hears a small and quiet “Good night, Daddy” from a very sleepy Boyd. Having heard that Gyro’s heart began to melt with love, happiness, and delight entirely for his son, Boyd Gearloose.
