Thank you for answering. To fill your inbox more could I request a oneshot of yoshikage kira finding out he has a daughter who is the same age as josuke (josuke has a crush on her) and she is a powerful stand user?
Hi hi again sorry it took so long, I hope 3.5k words can make up for it. This is literally the longest oneshot I've made. It... Falls of a tiny bit? I'll let guy guys be the judge of that. I've tweaked the story a tiny bit but dw Reader is still a very powerful stand user and I want to be her friend
Don't Stop Me Now!
Notes: Fem!reader/uses fem pronouns, reader and Josuke get into a fight, read through half of this but gave up because I'm tried and just woke up, apologies for any mistakes
"So yer sayin' there's a possibility that freak had a kid?"
"And they're in Morioh right now?!"
Jotaro silently nodded his head. He had been following this mystery for some time now. It had only been two years since the defeat of Yoshikage Kira, and now this. To prove his point further Jotaro dropped some unsent letters and mail he found earlier in Kirs's old vila. The mail had come from the other side of Japan, talking about some affair long ago and the possibilities of her child being his. It didn't seem Kira had ever replied back. He was able to track some of the letters back into the 80's helping concrete the evidence that this child was near Okuyasu's and Koichi's age.
"The newest letter from the woman says her kid was visiting Morioh for the new school year, and she wanted to meet her biological father. It says she's a girl around your ages and looks just like Yoshikage. And if it turns out she is his kid..."
"There's a huge possibility she's a Stand user," Koichi finished.
Jotaro nodded again, "I'm going to be busy trying to track down this girl's mother, maybe get some more clues on Kira's past and maybe even get some hints on which kid is hers. While I'm gone I need you three to stay back here to try and find her yourself."
"Will do!" Okuyasu grinned, hitting his fist into his open palm. Koichi agreed with him, already thinking of what to look out for. They left the older man soon after.
"Do y'think we'll bump into this chick easy if she's a Stand user?" Okuyasu asked his friend.
"Most likely. I mean, we've fought a lot of Stand users in the past because we gravitate towards each other. With our luck we might just even bump into each other without even looking for her!"
"Hmm..." That summer two years ago had the worst of it, but even after that there was some rouge users they had to deal with, Okuyasu still remembered last summer when Jotaro had Koichi leave to Italy because of the bastards. Luckily he came back okay.
"Koichi, I think I have an idea of where we need to look. But first, we gotta find Josuke!"
Meanwhile, leaving school in a flourish, students packed into a tight group all left at once from their after school activities. They subtracted from each other, students leaving for home, after school jobs, free time with friends. Only two students peeled away by theirselves, one unaware of the boy following her. She walked down a lonely road without a care in the world.
He followed her into a convenience store. He wasn't sure why. There was no doubt he was looking like a creep. He just wanted to talk! But this girl was so quiet. Often times Josuke found himself doing something stupid just to get closer to her, but he always ended up looking like a fool.
Exhibit A.
Josuke had never gone to this side of Morioh. This was a nice store. Far too orange, but it had a good variety of snacks. Maybe he could give up and buy some before heading home.
"Gah!–"
He had the window of his jacket pulled forward, tripping over his feet as someone threw him into the corner of the store. A hand covered his mouth from letting out another squeak, and Josuke looked down to see you.
Wait! You?!
"Shh, keep it down, I'm not sure if he followed us into the store."
Huh?
Slowly, she took her hand off of his mouth. Josuke was weak enough to notice the faint trace of floral perfume. It smelt good. Was that citrus?
"What are you talking about?"
Confused, she looked him up and down, then at the door, "Huh... To be honest I thought you followed me out of school because you were trying to protect me or something. Or you were too scared to walk home alone..." She shook her head; "You really didn't notice that guy following us after we left school?"
"Well, I know about him now! I'm definitely not leaving you alone with that guy around!"
"Thanks, really, but that's not needed. I can take care of myself" The girl let go of his jacket and instead adverted her attention to the snacks rowing the wall beside her. While she looked asked for his without leaving the snack cakes. Following her, Josuke introduced himself.
"Josuke..." She mumbled under her breath while examining two snack cakes, torn between strawberry cream filling or vanilla. "...Oh yeah, you're the boy all the girls in school seem to be fawning over." . Josuke didn't have the time to answer, as the girl had already decided on vanilla, before skipping over to the drinks and chips. He didn't know what else to do besides follow her around the tiny shop as she filled her arms with snacks and such. Every once in a while she would turn her head around to see Josuke still following her. Even as she made it to the check out, he was still there.
"This isn't necessary," She told him making her way to the exit.
"He could still be out there!" Josuke tried.
They made it outside. The girl looked every way out into the empty road and sidewalk with nothing in sight. "See? Nothing." This time she didn't wait for a response and proceeded to skip away. Except Josuke continued to trail her. The feeling in his gut told him to keep following her. That something wasn't right.
Their walk was relatively quiet apart from the occasional quip from you trying to get Josuke off your back. He'd only fire back with his own ammo.
You broke into your snacks just as clouds began to form, sending the streets into darkness. The weather report didn't say anything about rain, you noted gloomily. You looked over at Josuke, he looked even more miserable.
"Not a fan of the rain?"
"It'll ruin my hair." Josuke sighed.
You grinned a little, "Hm... Maybe if just... left, you wouldn't have to worry about your precious hair getting ruined!"
Josuke finally had it, "Jeez, I'm just trying to help you! There's no reason for you to be so cynical!" His hand grabbed your blazer, making you stop to look at him.
"Cynical? What are you doing that's helping me? You're just following me home like some dog!" Disgusted, you took a single look at his hand and shoved it off your arm. "Take a look around, Higashikata! It's just you, me, and the rain! You can stop trying to play hero!"
His jaws opened, but he was quickly silenced by a single droplet of water. More came down faster while you stared him down silently. He felt humiliated, not because of you, but because you were right. Feeling that you won, you left Josuke to soak up some of the rain. He watched you leave feeling lost.
"Hey– Wait a second!"
"Jeez, who the hell does that guy think he is?" Still, there was a guilty panging in your gut. Were you too harsh? There wasn't any malicious intent but the guy seriously had to take a hint.
Damnit, I'm supposed to be working on this... I'll never make a single friend if I can't relax.
You cursed yourself, and whispered a tiny apology to your worrying mother across Japan. You'd never been the best with kids your age, "an old soul" your grandfather called you. It was beginning to be clear that was just code for antisocial and awkward as hell. Secretly deep down you hoped you could find that Josuke guy again tomorrow to apologize. Right now you'd need to get out of this rain before you got sick, and your snacks got ruined, too.
Something moved in the corner of your eye. Your heart skipped, you twisted to see if it was the boy you hoped it was, but you weren't so lucky.
The hulking figure behind you was shrouded in a big black hoodie, hood up so you couldn't get a good look at his face. He was bigger than you, all your senses and your gut told you to get out of dodge or fight. But you calmed yourself. Cool. It. Maybe he just needs directions. We can't have a repeat of last time...
"May I help you?" You ask instead.
The man scratched at his brow with one hand, never taking the other out of his pocket, you noticed but didn't say anything about it yet. "Yeah. Y'see, there's a grocery store around the bend. The food's pretty good, but it's expensive. And I don't have the cash."
"Ah..." Seriously? He's looking for handouts? What a moocher! "...Well, sorry but I can't help you out. I don't have anything on me. You should try Owson, it isn't that far away–"
"Nah, I ain't askin'." Your eyes quickly focused on the shining blade he pulled out of his pocket, "You can play pretend all you want, I know you got the money. I don't wanna hurt ya, just be a good girl and give me the wallet."
"Pfft! You think you can intimidate me with that letter opener? Hah!" You giggled some more. Sure, you were acting cocky. But you didn't care. You weren't going to let yourself be bossed around by some asshole. "I'm not giving you shit! So why don't we both turn around and walk our own ways, and I'll pretend this never happened."
The attempted robber's eyes steeled over, the grip on his weapon tightening. You took your own stance; setting your shoulders, bringing your hands into fists. That familiar aura taking a hold of you, heating your blood to it's boiling point. He didn't seem to feel it; no one ever did, really. But it powered you. It gave you a sense of security. You couldn't really describe it, but once this feeling came over you, you felt like you were unstoppable: even with a foe twice your size.
.
.
.
"Hey! STOP! GET BACK HERE YOU ASSHOLE!!"
A burly man in all black charged past Josuke. Confused, the boy twisted to watch him run, thinking nothing of the rush. He turned around just in time to catch a shoe flying past his eyes at mach speed, hitting the guy square between the shoulders, but it did nothing to stop him. Josuke jumped out of the way into a puddle, splashing the sidewalk with water, just in time for you to barrel right through him, another shoe in hand as you screamed. With a smooth move, you picked up your other shoe, getting unlimited ammo to throw at the guy but it did nothing to phase him again. Instinct kicked in, Josuke followed. His long legs gave him an easy opportunity to slide in right next to you. "What's going on?!" He asked over the pelting rain.
"This bastard stole my wallet!" You shrieked, throwing another high brand shoe without a care in the world about the price behind the lable. Quickly, Josuke got to work. He grabbed you by the waste, hauling you into his arms in a deft move. You didn't argue, instead you knew exactly what he was doing. Without the fear of leaving you behind Josuke could run even faster now. He brushed away the rain drops trying to blind him, and he was losing distance between him and his new enemy. But it wasn't enough, your added weight couldn't let him over power the thief just yet.
"Throw me!" You commanded.
"Huh?! Are you insane?!"
"Just do it!"
Josuke couldn't fight back. Biting his lip, and with the power of Crazy Diamond behind it, he was able to chuck you at the guy dressed in black. Except it was over kill, and you went sailing above his head. Josuke watched on in horror, but to you this was the perfect throw. That familiar feeling began to overflow in you again. Josuke could see the red sparks flying off of you. It was like in slow motion. Suspended in midair, you pointed a perfectly manicured finger at the crook, fire sparking from your finger tip, followed by a hot pink fist extending out connect with the man's face. A name escaped your lips:
"‹⟨Ashes to Ashes⟩›!"
An invisible wave of heat and fire traveled through the man's clothes. Josuke watched, frozen now, as his hoodie became dust in the blink of an eye. Neither had no time to think as your Stand's fist immediately followed after your attack, and you plummeted to the concrete ground, just as your thief did as well.
You tumbled, but quickly stabilized yourself. The heat of the moment was gone, your attacker was now unconscious, missing the clothes on the top half of his body, along with most of the hair on his head. Groans of pain could be heard as Josuke leaped over his body to squat down next to your body, offering you a gentle hand to help you back to your feet, that sparkle of amazement hadn't left his eye. "You– You..."
Your grin split across your face. You cheered despite the stinging pain of your broken skin and the gravel stuck to your side, you didn't care. You were victorious.
"That was awesome! We definitely need to do that again!" You gave Josuke a pat on the arm before skipping away. Without his hoodie, your wallet tumbled on to the sidewalk for you to find easy. It was bright pink with a stitched in cat head on both sides (horribly done, Josuke believed you had to do it by hand yourself). It had soaked up some of the rain water, but you deemed the contents good enough.
You turned, Josuke was still staring at you in shock. His body shook. Was it excitement? Confusion? Fear? "You're... You're a Stand user."
"Huh? A what?"
"That thing you just did, that fist that came out of you to punch this guy!"
"You saw that?" You asked bewildered. A new feeling of hope swelled inside of you. And you felt it. That same aura you had, now coming off of Josuke. A new figure appeared, hulking in size compared to it's summoner, wearing steely blue armor, and a helm in the shape of a heart. "You can see him, right?"
Without speaking, you did the same. Letting Josuke see your ghost. It was an angry pink, contrasting the pastel colors of his own, with horns sharing resemblance to pointy ears. Heat came off of it in excess, rain heating up into steam before it even touched it's body.
This boy. He was just like you.
"You called me a "Stand user", right? Is that what this is? Can yours control fire too?"
"No, not fire. But it can punch pretty damn well. I've named him Crazy Diamond. He can also do this," The stand moved towards you. Your own stand fizzled away as it's palm touched your cheek, softly. A calming haze surrounded you, making you feel safer than before. Crazy Diamond's hand was warm, you began to notice the cuts along your knees and your elbows, and the burns across your fists were healing, zipping up like invisible thread pulling your scars back together until they disappeared completely.
Once Crazy Diamond moved away, there wasn't any more pain, and you were completely unharmed. He left too, leaving you alone in the rain with a very soggy looking Josuke.
"Oh, Josuke! Your hair!"
In comedic timing, the hair forced up into his pompadour fell, slapping wetly against his face. His eye twitched ever the slightest, but Josuke shook it off, pushing his bangs aside. "No worries! It's just hair. I'm just glad that you're healed again." His bangs flopped forward again, he quickly pushed them back. "Hey, about earlier? Before all of this happened... I want to apologize. I didn't mean to upset you. It's just, it's hard to push down a gut feeling. Y'know?"
"Yeah. I get it. I should apologize too for being such an ass. Maybe if I listened I wouldn't have gotten my wallet stolen." You offer him a slanted smile and you got one back. "Let's just agree that we were both in the wrong."
"Heh! Sounds good!"
Thunder sounded from behind the buildings, drawing in both of your attention. The weather was only getting worse, and you clothes were soaking up another pound of water by the minute.
"This is getting ridiculous..." Josuke groaned.
"I didn't expect it to get this rough. Maybe we should head back to get an umbrella before we head to my house?"
"Your house?" Josuke asked skeptical, but he followed you back.
"Duh. I have my own gut feeling your house is way too far away. I've got a landline you can borrow, and towels and gel for your hair, too."
"Why didn't you say so earlier?! Hurry up!" You out right laughed, sprinting after him as he broke into a dead run to the convenience store. It was a quick in and out, there was an argument over what color umbrella you should've bought, but you easily defeated Josuke by reminding him who was paying for it. You got the last umbrella with a sky blue color and fluffy white clouds, contrasting with the dark inkyness above. Finally out of the rain, you and Josuke kept close together, conserving heat and walking at a leisurely pace. You didn't mind. Josuke on the other hand had trouble controlling the excited vibration in his shoulders. He'd have to turn his head so you couldn't see the angry blush on his cheeks. You were just so... Strangely cute. He just watched you knock a guy out in one punch, but he can't help but think about how cute you looked curled up into his side like this!
Josuke cleared his throat.
"I never caught your name. It'd be weird if I went to your house and I didn't even know what to call you right?"
"Seriously? This whole time I haven't told you my name?!" You laughed again, Josuke thought it was loud and sweet. "My full name is Kira Y/n!"
"Heh... Hey. Hey, wait a second." Josuke stopped in his tracks. "Say it again? I think this rain is messin' with my hearing."
"Ki-ra Y-n." You punctuate with a giggle, cupping your hands over your mouth for added affect. "Everyone just calls me by my first name, even without asking. It kind of gets annoying... But you can just call me Y/n too! Something wrong, Josuke?"
He was staring at you, dazed and confused. Struck silent over something. He didn't say a word, but a new voice filled in the silence, calling Josuke's name. It was high and shrill, turning to look behind you you could see two strangers in the distance, quickly closing in.
The taller one was making good time, the shorter one behind him tried to keep up with an umbrella shielding him from the rain. Confused as hell, you slowly got out of the way of the two men, ready to activate your Stand ability again if the situation called for it. But these two didn't sound like enemies. They looked the same age as you and Josuke. Who the hell were these two?
The louder one, still shrieking as he neared, ended up slamming into Josuke sending them both into a rain puddle.
"Josuke!"
"Okuyasu!" The short one waddled up to his friends, looking worried.
"Josuke! That girl you've been diggin' is a Stand user!"
It was all at once. Adding on to the roaring storm it was deafening. These two were Stand users? How did they know you were, too? And why the hell was this baseball looking freak trying to pick a fight with you?
"OKUYASU! SHE ISN'T GOING TO HURT US!"
"YEAH, DUDE! SHE'S COOL!" Josuke and company tried to keep him at bay.
"Jeez, you find one person with an ability like yours and you find a whole gaggle," You sigh. "Who are you people and what do you suddenly want for me?"
The boy with silver hair suddenly looks at you from behind the other boy's shoulders with wide, blue eyes. "You're last name is Kira, isn't it?" He asked.
"Yes..?" You say confused.
"I knew it!" The boy, probably named Okuyasu cheered in victory in Josuke's arms. He was ignored by both.
"Your dad has history in Morioh. Bad history. We found some evidence of you being his kid in his old house, we've been trying to track you down ever since school let out today, and we found you with Okuyasu's help." He pointed over Okuyasu's shoulder, who gave you a big grin.
"W-What? I'm so–" A hand was thrown over your face to silence your thoughts.
"What?! Who are you people?! Why is this all happening suddenly? This whole time I've thought I was alone with these abilities, and suddenly there's... Three more of you?"
"More like, four, actually." The silver haired boy confessed, not thinking about how it didn't help the situation. He thought for a second silently. "Actually there's a lot more than four of us–"
"Y/n," Josuke said interrupting his friend. He left Okuyasu's side to gently hold your shoulders, making you stare up at him through his wet bangs and into his piercings eyes. "There's a lot of us Stand Users in Morioh. Your dad... He was one too, but he didn't use his ability for good. It's a lot to unpack, but whenever you're ready to listen, we'll tell you."
You sniff away the cold, brushing away a stray raindrop that somehow made it under your umbrella on to your cheek. Behind Josuke, his two friends stood, offering soft looks, sympathetic of something you didn't understand. With a deep breath, you agreed. "I'm ready. We should get to my house already and get out of this cold." Josuke nodded with a gentle smile, pulling you into his side to share his warmth with you.
"Lead the way."

~*~
The Intendant had invited me to her quarters with a cheerful lilt in her voice that struck me as dangerous. I'd heard her use that tone when she was about to order a person killed, but I'd never had it directed at me before. Surely, she couldn't know what I'd been doing for the Terran rebels...right?
No. No chance. I'd covered my tracks too well. There was no way she'd know I was facilitating deals between the rebels and some sympathetic arms dealers. I'd bribed all the right people and batted my eyelashes so often I was almost afraid they'd fall out. The rebels had won the last three skirmishes they'd had with the Alliance, and every victory brought us closer to our ultimate goal of freedom from domination.
When the hour she specified rolled around, I was all dolled up just the way I knew she preferred. We weren't lovers, exactly, but we had been intimate more times than I could count. Oh, I was far from her only partner, but I was one of the only ones who'd caught her interest for longer than a couple of weeks.
Two years ago when she saw me coming aboard the station amidst a new batch of workers for the refinery, she'd had me pulled from the throng of people almost immediately.
"What's your name?" She'd asked, and I'd been so terrified that I'd barely been able to speak above a whisper. The smile that had stretched her lips had been half-amused and half-predatory. "Oh, little mouse, there's nothing to be afraid of. Come. I have something to show you."
She'd grabbed my hand and led me down a seemingly endless maze of corridors and hallways until we reached her quarters. To be completely honest, I was so afraid of her guards that I thought she would kill me as soon as she released her grip on my fingers, but all she'd done that night was bathe me, order a nice meal for two, and talk with me until I'd fallen asleep.
I hadn't feared her for some time, so when I walked into her quarters this evening and found her in the midst of agitated pacing, I did what I always did when she was in one of these moods. I walked over to her and dropped to my knees just outside the path she was tracing and retracing with her steps.
"Are they dead yet, or does Garak still need to find them?" I asked quietly, taking my usual bet that she was contemplating someone's brains being splattered over a bulkhead in penance for whatever crime they'd committed. She froze as soon as the question left my lips.
"No, and no. She's still alive...and she's right where I want her," she murmured, turning to face me with a dark sort of fire brimming in her eyes. In a rather detached sort of way, I noted that when she got angry like this, her hair reminded me of flames. This certainly wasn't the first time I'd made such an observation.
The glow of candlelight flickering and flowing across the room made the waiting a little easier. In the middle of our – could I really call it a 'date?' – Kira had been commed by Garak about a rebel on the station. Apparently, he was an old lover of hers, Benjamin Sisko, and he was on Terok Nor causing problems for security in some minor raid.
That was the first I'd heard of the rebellion beyond the whispering of Terran workers. That was also the first time I'd seen the Intendant storm into her quarters with an expression as volatile as a volcano. I'd walked over to the sofa where she'd flopped rather unceremoniously and dropped to my knees beside it.
"Should I go, ma'am? You must have a lot on your mind, and I don't want to trouble you–"
"No," she breathed. Her expression had softened minutely as if she was only just remembering that I was there. "No, no, stay. You're just the balm I need right now, little mouse."
"Of course, Intendant. I'll help in any way that I ca–" she cut me off with a kiss that was much more delicate than I'd been expecting.
But there was no delicacy, no gentleness tonight. I was practically tossed on the bed and restrained with my limbs spread wide. A gag was quickly shoved in my mouth, and now, hours later, the Intendant had dragged me to the edge of orgasm over and over until I was babbling incoherently around the intrusion in my mouth. Hell, at that point, I knew I was begging, but I had no idea whether I was begging for her to stop or for her to let me come.
She'd begun with her fingers, curling them into me over and over until her hand undoubtedly ached, then Kira had switched to using her mouth instead. She was devious. She was ruthless. She knew every inch of me as well as the things that brought me the most pleasure, and she used that to her advantage.
I was there. I was right there, but just as I started to tip over the edge, she removed her mouth from me entirely, ruining my orgasm once again. I huffed in frustration, even as my breathing turned shaky.
"Aww, princess, did you really think I'd let you finish after you betrayed me?" Her poisonous smile made it clear that she wasn't done with me by a long shot. One of the Intendant's fingertips skimmed lightly down the bridge of my nose. "Don't look so distraught. Garak suggested I have you thrown out of an airlock instead of keeping you at my mercy. I think this is a much more pleasant alternative, don't you?"
I had no choice but to nod my head as her lips met my forehead.
"Maybe if you behave yourself, I'll begin reinstating your privileges, but make no mistake: if you set so much as a toe out of line again, I'll give you to Garak and let him do what he wants with you. We both know how fond he is of making examples out of disobedient Terrans," she said, and a shiver ran down my spine. He took an inordinate amount of pleasure in extracting confessions and information from people.
Her hand gripped my jaw, and my heart thudded faster in my chest.
"Now, let's see how long it takes to make you break beyond repair. I'm betting you'll last another hour. You're a strong girl, after all. Guessing any time shorter than that would be an insult to my skill in training you." The Intendant's hand slipped between my legs again, drawing a whimper from deep in my throat. This was going to be a long, painful night.

🌿| ok we aren't gonna talk abt how long i procrastinated on this okay i had finals all week and spent every waking second studying pls forgive me
🍃| request from @darkrose33 <33 it is just after l's funeral (reader's s/o) and the reader is feeling sad and alone. light decides to take advantage of this. this is part one- which doesn't consist of NSFW, but part two def will :) this part got hella long y'all
🍃| hope u enjoy ur request, reader! <3 for more info on my account click here!
light yagami x fem!reader~ part 1 (sfw)
All you felt was empty.
You'd seen it coming, sort of. You'd prepared yourself as best as you could for the strong possibility that maybe L wouldn't make it out of the Kira case alive. You'd tried to get used to the idea of losing him. You'd spent long, melancholy nights planning your future alone and spent some days distancing yourself from L as to adjust to the idea of him not being there. You had sought out outside help such as therapy, using an alias and saying that you had a terminally ill relative. You'd thrown yourself into your work, often staying up late nights and waking before dawn to immerse yourself in it as much as possible. You had prepared yourself for the likelihood that the very man L had suspected of being Kira, the mass murderer of thousands, would step up and play the part of L. Every possible road had been traveled, every path traversed in your effort to mentally, physically, and emotionally prepare for the death of L.
But it hadn't changed the fact that, at the time, L had still been there. It was never a reality then, you didn't really have to face it- and thus your attempts had been in vain. Now, here you were in the back of the cathedral, struggling to even breathe.
L was dead.
The only thing that you could see in your head was the perpetually repeating scene of L falling out of his chair to the ground, not a single detail missing. The metallic clink of his teaspoon when it hit the floor. The convergence of the entire task force on L's fading body, all yelling in panic and concern. The sudden disappearance of shinigami Rem. The white screen displayed on every device in the room, void of any images or text except for one line- All data deletion. Light clutching the limp detective"s body in his arms, face hidden by his brown hair. L's eyelids slowly fluttering shut. The ensuing frenzy that followed after Light came to the grim conclusion that the remainder of the task force would be killed as well. The pile of shimmering silver dust, later found in the back of the headquarters, along with the Death Note and a single black pen.
Every last detail.
It didn't feel quite real. There was still a substantial portion of your mind that refused to process the reality that L was dead. Gone. Much of you felt numb and shocked, while still other parts of you wanted to drop to the floor and never stop crying. It was the feeling of utter despair, loneliness- and bitterness. Why was L ripped away from you so violently? In front of your eyes, no less? It didn't seem fair. Weren't you both the good guys? Just once, why couldn't there be a happy ending?
You were sitting beneath the sill of a large stained glass window, almost like a mural, a beautifully crafted image of Jesus Christ with beams of radiance emitting from his head, various Biblical images depicted in the space around Jesus. There was an image of the stone tablets containing the Ten Commandments, a chorus of angels playing a variety of instruments, an effigy of a Nativity scene, and most notably, a large tree holding several red apples, and a nude woman beside the tree plucking the apple; the fruit was beside a sly-looking snake shrouded in the bushes, watching as the girl took the fruit. This room in particular had a rather eerie ambience, only enhanced by the fact that just beyond the walls, the corpse of the greatest detective to ever live lay pale and limp in a furnished casket.
At least the church was pretty- the whole place looked like this, the ceilings displaying paintings of angels and the floors in red carpet, the whole cathedral smelling faintly of frankincense. The funeral had been limited to just the task force, and the church had been tightly locked down in order to keep outsiders out. As of now, the funeral had officially ended, and Matsuda, Aizawa, Soichiro, and Mogi had left about a half hour ago- but not before asking you over and over if you were alright, which made you smile a bit amidst your dripping tears. L's body was to be buried that midnight by affiliates of L, wanting to do so in secret as to not run into any unwanted visitors. But as for L's body now- it still lay in the closed casket in front of the congregation, a grandly blooming bouquet with many kinds of flowers tied with a white ribbon to the lid.
Your partner was now a corpse.
Now you inhaled shakily, wiping at your tears. It was time to put your emotions aside as best as you could and think rationally. L wasn't going to come back, and no amount of crying was going to change that. He'd probably be telling you to pull yourself together right around now- there were things to be done, cases to be solved. Emotions were only a liability, and you were not to allow them to interfere with business.
Still, a choked sob escaped you as you thought about this. You would give anything for L to be here, chastising you now.
But he never would again.
"Y/N?"
You startled, jerking your head up to search for the source of the voice echoing throughout the back of the cathedral. Your gaze came to rest on none other than Light, nothing more than a tall, shadowy silhouette in the dark lighting of the church, standing a short distance from you.
"Light." You blinked your eyes hard and violently rubbed at your cheeks, eliminating the last of the tears as you got to your feet and dusted off your long, elegant black gown. As you did not want Light to see your current state, you couldn't help but feel a rush of relief that the light radiating through the glass windows was only minimal.
"Um- is there something you need?" you asked airily. Light stepped closer to you, entering the light to reveal his sharp black suit and tie.
"Is there something you need?" Light returned, making your brow furrow in slight confusion. "I know L's death must be quite hard on you- I want to make sure you're okay."
"Ah, it's- it'll be fine." Wow, that wasn't very convincing, and you realized this with a slight grimace. Waving it off, you pressed forward, hoping to sound more okay than you actually felt. "I suppose it was all but inevitable. The odds were against him; that's all there was to it." You let out a somewhat bitter laugh, lowering your gaze to the velvet carpet. "I'm a bit impressed L didn't pass sooner..."
Light eyed you a little suspiciously, and it was clear he knew you were not alright in the least. You could sense his burning yet warm eyes on you, observing your body language as you continued to stare at the floor, not knowing what else to do.
"Really, I'm fine." You tried again, fiddling with the pendant around your neck that you'd saved for a special occasion. Feeling tears begin to prick at the backs of your eyes once more, you opted to change the subject. "How about you? How are you doing?"
Now it was Light's turn to look dubious. "I don't know how to feel, really- but if I had to pinpoint it, I'd have to say nervous." At nervous, he winced a little- which caught you rather off guard.
"You're nervous?" You blurted, unable to hide your surprise. "Um... that doesn't really sound like you."
"Ha, it's not." Light smiled sheepishly and put a hand behind his head, the other in his pocket. "It's just the prospect of taking over as L... I know it's something I can probably handle, but I can't help but feel a little intimidated.."
"Oh, who wouldn't be? It's a daunting task. But I'm certain you'll act accordingly as L." This was a lie on your part, actually- since L's death, your suspicions of Light being Kira had gone through the roof. But obviously, you couldn't let that be known to Light.
Light gave you a grateful grin. "Thank you, Y/N."
"Of course."
Light began to move closer still to you, and a little off-put, you stepped backwards closer to the stain-glass mural. "Is- is there anything else you need?"
"Well, I do have something to ask you." He was even closer now- your body was completely pressed against the window now. Too late, the feeling of something being wrong began to arise in your mind.
You hesitated. There wasn't very much you could do about that now. "Go ahead."
"What did you see in L that you didn't see in me?"
Your eyes flew wide open, shocked. What the hell was Light saying? Knowing something was definitely wrong now, your fists slowly began to rise to your hips, ready to swing if Light were to try anything. "What?"
"You heard me."
Oh, hell no. A furious expression taking hold of your facial features, your fists instantly flew upward to reach Light's face- only for a single hand to stop them both, long fingers wrapping around both of your wrists. In one swift move, Light swung your wrists and arms backward, slamming them against the shining glass behind you, holding your hands captive above your head. Your breathing began to speed up, and you glared up at Light with equally incensed and terrified eyes. What was he doing?
"Don't look so scared," Light told you, feigning comfort as an almost diabolical smirk spread across his lips, the glimmer of the sun through the window behind you reflecting in his greedy brown eyes. "I won't hurt you- that is, unless you don't cooperate."
You had no clue what was even really happening, but you damn sure weren't about to play along. "Cooperate? Light, what the hell? Let me go!" With a strained grunt, you wrenched against Light's grasp, twisting your body this way and that to try and tear your hands from his grip. However, your attempts were in vain, and didn't even seem to phase him. Instead, Light let out a derisive chuckle, licensing you even further.
"It's pointless to resist, Y/N." Light told you matter-of-factly, appearing almost bored as he held your body fast to the wall. "If you'll only stop moving so much, this doesn't have to be so bad."
Your eyes were ablaze with anger and humiliation- but you knew Light was probably right. You would only wear yourself out if you kept struggling against him. Taking this into account, you reluctantly ceased your thrashing, breathing heavily as you allowed your chin to drop down to your chest as you hung your head in defeat.
"What is it you want from me? Please, just get it over with." Your voice was muffled as you stared forlornly at the floor. Whatever Light wanted- you simply couldn't do it today. Any day but today.
"I want nothing from you- I want you." Light's hand slid under your chin and gently lifted your head up to face him. Your eyes were gloomy and half-lidded as you met Light's stormy eyes, alight with the wistful golden glow emitting from the stained glass window. His body was against yours now, the fabric of his suit touching the cloth of your dress, falling half off your shoulders from the prior encumbrance. You could feel the faint thumps of his heartbeat on your skin, and your breath hitched a little. This could not be happening. Today.
"Want me." you spat icily, almost a little too scornful. "I take it you've been after me for a while? I knew it. I could tell."
"Aren't you clever, Y/N?" Another sardonic chuckle. "You're quite correct- since the day I first laid eyes on you, you were the only thing I could think about. I memorized every last one of your features, even those that weren't necessarily physical- your smile, your laugh, the way you fidget with your hands- and the way you used to look at L." At this line, Light's face tightened, and you couldn't help but choke back a slight gasp. Your instincts were screaming at you to kick him, to fight back, to do anything- but you found you were simply unable to move.
"You're insane." was the only thing you could manage in a biting tone, jaw clenched and diction clipped. Light only responded with an unsettling smile before resuming his lament.
"I was... rather dismayed when I found out that you and L had begun a relationship- a romantic one. All I could think about was how it was supposed to be me- you were supposed to belong to me. And when L went and handcuffed himself to me, all I wanted to do was kill him. I was forced to watch you kiss lips that weren't mine, throw your arms around a body that wasn't mine. Likewise- I was made to watch his hands run along your waist, caress your skin, smooth back your hair- skin I should have been touching, hair that should have been tangled in my own fingers."
"And for what? For him to dismiss you, ignore you half the time, and behave as if you meant so little to him? When I could have granted your every wish, showered you with my love every second."
So Light had noticed the growing distance between you and L- realizing this, you couldn't bring yourself to keep looking at him, and instead dropped your head again from Light's grasp, hot tears dripping down your face and blurring your vision. L had been quite alienated from you in the days leading up to his death, and it had made you suffer greatly as the looming threat of Kira grew closer every day. All you had wanted to do was be there for L, save him somehow from going in too deep and endangering himself even further- and your efforts had only been proven futile. L had quite blatantly dismissed your attempts at assistance- ignoring you, rejecting any forms of physical affection from you, even going so far as to flat out tell you that he didn't even want you present at times, which had hurt you greatly. It had made you feel unwanted, inferior, and useless. And now that L's murderer had thrown it all back in your face, it was like a wound in salt, stinging like the tears spilling from your eyes.
"Look at you. You're still crying over L- even when he's no longer here." Light leaned down a little to meet your height, while still holding your wrists with one hand, and peered into your red and glassy eyes with a strangely affectionate expression. "Do you see now? Do you see how much he made you hurt? Do you see how good I could make you feel?"
You were too distressed to answer, face completely wet now as the whole day hit you at once. Light, however, didn't seem impatient with you- instead straightening up and at last releasing your hands, your arms limply falling to your sides, and sliding his hands slowly around your waist in an act of comfort. He began to rub your skin through your dress soothingly, easing your tears some as you began to relax a little. "It's alright. It'll be fine, Y/N- okay?"
You nodded shakily, no longer paying much attention to what you were actually doing, only wanting to find comfort somewhere, anywhere.
"I can make you feel better again. I can make you feel safe. You just have to let me."
You sighed, wiping at the tears on your cheeks.
"Okay."

Newly Wed
Fandom: Star Trek Deep Space Nine Pairing: Kira Nerys x fem!Reader, Odo x Reader (PLATONIC!!!) Words: 1.9K Warnings: Fluff, maybe a bit angst Summary: Y/N and Kira return from their honeymoon and Y/N feels obligated to report to her best friend Odo. All the good things and maybe the fears too. A/N: Odo is not in love with Kira, he never was. He's just a very good friend in this one. We don't wanna make things awkward
Silently, the doors of the security office slid apart and Y/N crossed the threshold into the room, a wry smile on her face. "Reporting for duty, sir," she smirked. Odo turned, a feigned serious mask on. "Acknowledged. At ease." He leaned forward. "Shouldn't you be showing up by tomorrow, Lieutenant?" She lifted her chin. "I thought I'd just have to see the loving face of my best friend that I've missed so much sooner than tomorrow."
"Is that any way to talk about your commanding officer?" She could see the amusement in his eyes. "No, but I do to my best friend." Apparently Odo couldn't fight his smile any longer, because the corners of his mouth turned upwards, causing her smile to widen as well.
"Oh, come here, "she laughed, spreading her arms as wide as she could. Odo sighed, but stood up anyway to comply with her request. A contented yawn escaped her as she rested her head on his shoulder. "That's nice." Odo only gave a grumpy snort that proved to her that he was as happy to see her as she was to see him. Nevertheless, she noticed very well that he was quite stiff and slowly released the embrace. She knew very well that Odo was not yet very comfortable with physical or social contact and she did not want to invade his comfort zone. The smile and his small nod showed her that she had done the right thing.
"Please, sit down."
"I'm definitely not going to turn down that offer," she laughed and dropped into one of the armchairs. Odo took a seat opposite her, hands folded, resting his head on them. "I certainly hope I'm not interrupting your work. I could come back later if you'd prefer." Y/N knew how much her friend hated to be disturbed in his work. For him, there was hardly anything more important than having his work done conscientiously and perfectly. Odo, however, just shook his head slightly. "Not at all. It is already late in the evening, the station will manage a little without me." He tilted his head slightly. "So, tell me. How was the honeymoon? "
Y/N smiled while at the same time shaking her head in disbelief "Not the way I expected, I can tell you that. Maybe we should have flown somewhere else after all. To Earth, perhaps. Or Risa. I hear Betazed is very pretty this time of year too." She winked at him. "Then perhaps we could have said hello to Lwaxana for you." Odo rolled his eyes and tipped his head back. If he had had a blood system, though, he would most likely have blushed. Giggling, she pointed to the replicator in his office. "May I? The replicator in the shuttle and our quarters didn't work and I'm dying of thirst. I haven't drank anything for the last hours" Odo gestured for her to help herself. "Thank you."
She stood up and walked to the alcove in the wall. "Computer, Y/N Alpha One, 200 millilitres." She had made her own drinks and food list and stored it in the computer, with a little help from Chief O'Brien, since what she normally got from her replicator didn't taste nearly as good.
With glass in hand, she returned and sat down opposite Odo, who eyed her. "So I guess Bajor wasn't so to your satisfaction."
She sighed and took a sip. Instantly the slight scratching she had been feeling for hours now stopped. "I wouldn't put it that way." Odo frowned, obviously confused. "Explain, please." She rubbed her face. "Bajor itself is beautiful. I think the problem was more with Nerys."
Odo sat up straighter. "With Kira?"
"Don't get me wrong," Y/N hastened to add. "I love her to death and marrying her was the best decision I ever made. However, I felt she was trying to get too much out of everyone." Odo now seemed even more confused. "Isn't it the desire of every newly married couple to have a perfect honeymoon?"
"Perhaps. But I had hoped that we would just enjoy our time together. Nerys seemed tense and nervous so often, though, that I'm afraid she didn't enjoy those weeks as much as I did." Her gaze was fixed on the floor, her lips pressed tightly together. All at once, she felt fingertips gently slide under her chin and lift her face. Odo had come around the table and was now squatting in front of her. "What makes you think things would have been better on another planet?"
"Maybe the fact that we would have been further away from Ds9? Nerys checked her padd for messages every hour. Maybe the fact that she got at least three visits from Kai Winn? I honestly don't know." She bit her lower lip. "On the other hand, she looked so amused, pleased and proud when she showed me her home. Like a child showing off her constructions."
"See." smiled Odo, stroking her head before standing up and sitting back down behind his desk, "Not so bad after all." She heaved another sigh. "I never said I personally didn't enjoy the honeymoon. It was wonderful for myself. I learned so much about her culture, her religion and about her life in general. It's just that I felt Nerys had taken on so much that she couldn't enjoy it herself."
Odo nodded slowly. "Do you feel better now? Now that you've talked that off your chest."
"Somewhat, yes." She smiled at him. "Thank you Odo."
"You're welcome. But now," he leaned forward. " I would like to have some details." Y/N laughed. Who would have thought that Odo was such a gossip?
"Well, the first few hours were the most relaxing, I think." She took another sip of her drink. "We had this beautiful house right by the sea and near a small town. It was wonderful, really. However, I noticed that Nerys was getting restless after a few hours, probably because she really needed to stretch her legs, so we went into town because there was a market going on."
She sighed and Odo tapped his chin. "And let me guess, it didn't go well." She laughed. "Yes, it did, actually. Nerys bought me a beautiful traditional Bajoran toga and introduced me to culinary cuisine. However, then a young man, maybe twenty years old at most, thought he had to make a stupid comment." She shook her head. "Nerys didn't think it was funny." Odo chuckled roughly. "I can imagine that. Is there anything left of him?"
"Yes. But she was pissed off. It took all my strength to keep him alive. I can't afford to have my wife arrested on the very first day of our honeymoon." Despite the seriousness of her words, she had to smile. She couldn't help it. The words "my wife" still caused butterflies in her stomach.
"Understandable." Odo snorted in amusement. "I would have hated to invade your honeymoon to take her out of it." Y/N laughed out. "Could you have imagined the conversation between us though? 'Hey Odo, I know we're on our honeymoon, however Kira killed an idiot in the market and I'd need you to bail her out of jail'." As she spoke she kept being interrupted by her own laughter. She was obviously overtired.
Perhaps it was because Odo was already close to his regeneration cycle, however, he gradually joined her laughter until they were both barely able to stay on their feet. Y/N even had tears running down her face and was gasping for breath.
"How did I know you'd go first to Odo- what's going on here?"
Y/N and Odo slowly caught themselves and looked up. Nerys had apparently stepped into the office during their laughter and was now looking at them with a confused smile. "Are you all right?" Y/N tried to suppress a rising laugh. "Yep." However, she then made the mistake of turning back to Odo. As soon as their eyes met, they both burst into unrestrained laughter. Y/N had to cling to the table to keep from falling over.
"Okay?" Nerys pointed to the door. "I'll just go then, shall I?"
"No, honey, wait!" panted Y/N, trying to calm herself with even breaths. "I- I'll come with you." Still giggling, she turned back to Odo, who was also slowly getting his laughter under control. "We- We'll talk more tomorrow, yes?" Odo simply waved, gesturing for her to finally leave. "See you tomorrow."
With that she grabbed her wife's hand, oh how she loved saying that, and led her over to the promenade deck to the turbolifts, still giggling.
"Level 11," Nerys ordered, leaning against the wall in amusement. "I don't know what you did, but I don't think I've ever seen Odo laugh so hard."
Y/N grinned broadly. "I have a natural talent for making people laugh." Nerys laughed out. "Of course."
"Ha, see!" She pointed at the Bajoran. "You laughed."
" Shut up," Nerys muttered, pulling her close by the waist and pressing her lips to her wife's. This successfully silenced her, even when they disengaged she only had a dreamy smile on her face. The turbolift stopped. Nerys gestured her arm towards the door. "After you, dearest."
~**~
Sighing, Y/N crawled under the covers of their bed and snuggled into her pillow. "I'm so tired, I probably could have even slept in Odo's bucket." Nerys laughed out and slipped under her own blanket. "And I'm sure he would have let you do that."
"He loves me," she murmured sleepily and Nerys pulled her close to press a soft kiss to her temple. "Not as much as I love you," she whispered before wrapping her arms around Y/N's waist and pulling her close, sighing contentedly. There was silence for a few moments, but Y/N couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Nerys?" A soft "Mhhh," was the reply. "Did you enjoy our honeymoon?" Silence. Then the rustling of duvets was heard and Nerys had sat up, leaning on her elbows and looking at her anxiously. "But of course. You didn't, did you?"
"No! No! I've enjoyed it very much. It's just-" She bit her lip. It was stupid, why had she had to bring it up? "You always seemed so tense and nervous and worried about Deep Space Nine. I was afraid you didn't like it."
"Oh," Nerys gave out, sitting up properly to take her face in her hands. "Oh darling, why didn't you say that before? I could have saved you all that worry." Sighing, she pulled her closer. "Of course I enjoyed our honeymoon. I was able to devote two weeks to just us, of course I enjoyed it. It's just- I'm not used to doing nothing for two straight weeks. I grew up during the occupation, so we didn't really have time for that. But I really enjoyed it. And I'm sorry I made you feel like I didn't." She kissed her tenderly. "How can I make it up to you."
A sly smile spread across Y/N's lips. "Dinner tomorrow night in our quarters followed by a bath together." Nerys laughed and kissed her again. "How about I add a massage on top?" Y/N began to beam and dropped into bed, pulling Nerys with her. " Nothing I'd like better than that."
They stared lovingly into each other's eyes for a while before Nerys grasped the intiative and leaned forward to kiss her softly again.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

Fireworks and Milkshakes
Teen Wolf
Request: No
Summary: Stiles x fem!reader. New Years with Stiles is chaotic.
Words: 1,637
Warnings: TENSION : ) also shitty writing :))
—
The smell of cinnamon was overpowering in the tiny living room the McCall pack was currently sitting in. Lydia insisted that whenever they were at her lake house it needed to smell and look good at all times so there was always a candle burning. Y/N sat nestled in the corner of the couch Stiles next to her, Isaac sitting on her other side in an armchair, and Kira was resting against her legs.
On the TV mainly as background noise, was the New York ball drop at Times Square. They were about two hours time away from the New Year. And hopefully, this coming year would be much better and SAFER than the last.
“Alright, I say we make milkshakes!” Malia announced standing from her spot on the other side of the couch. Scott also got up with the girl stretching out his arms.
“I agree, I’m practically falling asleep waiting for midnight so I think we need something to do,” he said, making everyone stand up and head to the kitchen. Lydia pulled the ingredients out for a variety of different kinds of milkshakes and clasped her hands together.
“I have an idea,” she said pulling out a couple of blenders. As to why she had more than one was a mystery yet to be solved.
“I say we have ourselves a little competition,” she smiled innocently and continued. “We split into teams of two and we try to make the best milkshake we possibly can.”
“Oh but wait we’ll need a judge!” Lydia exclaimed looking at her hands. Corey jumped up excitedly, “Mason and I will judge! Right, Mason?”
“Uh, yeah sure sounds like fun,” Mason smiled at his boyfriend.
“Okay everyone split off and I’ll start a timer so we don’t miss the count down,” Lydia said walking off to grab her phone from the living room.
Scott and Kira paired up obviously, they’d been dating for nearly two and a half years, they were a well-oiled machine!
Malia and Isaac paired, they hadn’t known each other long but they got along fine, they’d even gone bowling together once so what could go wrong, right?
Liam and Theo teamed up as per usual, since the whole ghost rider incident they’d grown quite close and they had been going out for about a month after they realized there was something more to their relationship.
Jordan waited patiently by the island for Lydia to return so they could pair together as well, them also dating. It seemed as if everyone in the pack had someone so that just left Stiles and Y/N to team up, best friends since kindergarten.
“Well, Stilinski which flavor should we go for?” Y/N smiled at him walking to one of the free blenders. He rested on the counter and tilted his head to look at her.
“I say strawberry, but feel free to argue if you have a better idea,” he turned and rested his back against the countertop to get a better look at Y/N. His sleeves of the plaid her currently adorned were rolled up to his elbows. Showing off his defined forearms. Y/N couldn’t help but glance at the skin displayed. She lost her train of thought for a brief moment.
“Uh, yeah. Yeah, strawberry sounds delicious, and maybe we can add dark chocolate pieces and fresh strawberries and start with a Vanilla base?” She pulled herself together. Stiles nodded just as Lydia returned iPhone in manicured hand.
“Alright, I’ll set the timer so we have just enough time to go out and light fireworks,” she clicked on her screen and everyone got into position, including Mason and Corey who took seats at the island and pulled out their phones to pass the time.
“On your mark, get set, GO!” Lydia announced. Everyone began fixing their frosty treats.
Stiles and Y/N wasted no time grabbing their ingredients. They barely even spoke seeming to read each other’s minds or at least that’s what it looked like on the outside. Y/N began chopping strawberries and Stiles broke up the chocolate.
By the end, their shake looked simply to die for. Kira and Scott’s looked amazing as well, along with Lydia and Jordan’s. Theo and Liam argued basically the entire time like an old married couple and barely finished a simple chocolate shake. Malia and Isaac somehow managed to spill their shake getting it all over themselves, Malia taking Isaac’s face and smearing a line across his forehead chanting, “Simba.” Which in turn made everyone cackle madly with laughter.
Liam and Theo managed to win the competition somehow, and it is still dumbfounding to think about. Corey said something about not being able to beat the classics and Liam said love was their secret ingredient which made Theo roll his eyes violently.
About 15 minutes before the ball drop they all shuffled outside in jackets to light the singular firework they had gotten from very understocked Walmart. The firework was a brilliant green and gold which was quite beautiful actually in Y/N’s opinion. After that, they cracked out the sparklers, and Stiles and Y/N waved them at each other like wands pretending to battle. Stiles claimed to have won but Y/N disagreed saying nobody could beat her at a magic duel, Stiles reluctantly agreed due to her puppy dog eyes.
Now they were all back in the living room 5 minutes from the ball drop and the New Year.
“I still think our shake was the best,” Y/N complained. Stiles nodded along slinging an arm across the back of the couch next to her head.
“No way, Stiles put ninety percent dark chocolate in. That shit was bitter as hell. My taste buds still haven’t recovered,” you could practically see the pain in Mason’s eyes.
“I think it still tasted okay,” Y/N patted Stiles’ thigh making him jump a tad. Scott laughed at him silently. The heat from Stiles’ arm against Y/N’s neck was quite distracting for her so she barely could comprehend what he was trying to say to her. Lydia walked over to the stereo system during this and turned on some music.
“Huh? What’d ya say?” She asked. Stiles rolled his eyes and his hand rested on her shoulder further clouding her thoughts. Did he know what he did to her? Probably not he was dense as a brick.
“I asked what your resolution is?” He repeated. She thought for a moment trying her best to gather her thoughts again.
“I want to go into the year doing something new I think,” she replied hesitantly.
“And how would that be?” Stiles asked her. He was so close she could feel his breath on her ear and neck.
“I’m not… I’m not sure yet,” she looked at her hands.
“Well good luck with that then, Y/N/N,” he said holding her hand. This was common for them, physical intimacy that was. At least PLATONIC intimacy, hand-holding, blowing kisses, etc. Nothing had ever happened between the childhood friends but they both secretly longed for each other. Pining since their freshman year for one another.
Y/N let out a sigh as Stiles leaned in close again.
“Only a minute until the New Year you better figure out that resolution of yours soon,” he laughs a lopsided grin on his face. They turned towards each other preparing for the countdown. They had agreed earlier that they’d give each other a quick peck at midnight not wanting to be left out seeing as they were basically surrounded by couples. Everyone knew their plan so they weren’t worried about kissing in front of the pair and making them feel bad or something like that.
“Alright! Ten! Nine! Eight!” Everyone cheered.
“You still want to do this no second thoughts?” Stiles asked Y/N. She nodded quickly.
“A quick peck. In and out. Easy peasy. And then everything is back to normal,” she looked down again at their hands. Stiles frowned but it went unnoticed by Y/N.
“Five! Four! Three! Two! ONE!”
Stiles kept his free hand by his waist unsure as to where to keep it and Y/N’s hand went to the back of his neck pulling him in. They stayed still for a moment awkwardly. The kiss was rigid and unmoving, but as Y/N’s fingers went into Stiles’ hair and they began to actually kiss Stiles’ palm rested on the side of her face and the kiss was deepened. His hand slide down her jawline and he held her tightly. Y/N’s face tilted up into his and her other hand let go of his other and she ran her hand through his hair pulling him in impossibly closer and draping her arm over his shoulder. His free hand went to the back of her head and he stroked her hair. Y/N was on fire she was burning under the soft touches of his fingertips. She burned for him.
He finally pulled away, Y/N following his head but he held her back slightly wanting to get a word in.
“You taste like strawberries,” he said airly. She laughed trying to pull back.
“You are so stupi-” He went in again cutting her off and they burnt together. Y/N’s hands fell to his cheeks and she smiled slightly.
“I only think of you,” she whispered. He hummed pushing a strand of hair out of her face. Her eyes were still closed as she relished in their closeness.
“I completed my resolution,” She said.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. I went into the new year doing something new didn’t I?”
“I suppose so, Y/N,” he smiled. Their friends sat staring at the pair with wide eyes.
“Finally,” Lydia rolled her eyes. Everyone agreeing.
“Oh shut up,” Y/N laughed. Stiles looked at her with adoration.
“I’m glad you chose me to go into the new year with,” he nudged her nose.

Hello hello. I was thinking of a bigger story with a fem! reader, Matt, Mello, L, and Near. get ready.
Here's an intro: Reader was always best friends with Matt and Mello. They did everything together. But she was also friends with Near, and scolded Mello for picking on him and scolded Matt for doing nothing. When Mello and Matt decided to leave, Mello decided you could not follow them. And that wad that. Reader had no choice because if she left with them, they would desert her eventually anyways. So she stayed with Near, took the #2 spot at Wammy's and hated it. When she went to work on the Kira case, she decided to find Matt and Mello, and ran away from Near. Near, of course, knew already. (that bastard), and told Matt and Mello ahead of time. (I would like this to end with reader getting involved with Matt but still being close to Mello, please). Also, plot twist, Light knows about Reader. And Matt, Mello, and Near have to work together to keep her safe. (If we could change the story to where Matt and Mello's deaths were FAKE so Kir would get cocky, that would be great)
Yeah, definitely. This is going to have to be a multiple-part story otherwise it'll be too long to write in one sitting. I hope you enjoy it!
Anything for you: Reader x Wammy Boys
"Nateeeee," You say, whining and following a very tired Near just trying to find a quiet place to think. You thought saying his name might trigger a response since the last 20 times of asking for a reply hadn't worked. "I break one toy and suddenly you ice me out like I'm the North Pole." No response. "NATE RIVER!"
"Yes?" He says, finally, clearly unbothered by your agitated state
"I'm bored"
"You are always bored, y/n. That's inevitable at this point."
"Nate, all we ever do is talk about Kira and, occasionally, L. This isn't exciting. I wanted my life to be exciting."
Near stopped walking, and turned to you, the same melancholic face plastered onto him. "You know what you want to do, y/n. And I know I can't stop you."
"I do know what to do. The only question is; can I?"
------
"Yeah, I can." You say, holdig a first class plane ticket to America. Near was kind enough to buy you a ticket. Although, his phone call with Roger lasted way longer than expected. Normally it's straight to the point and over with. "Whatever." You decide
As you board the plane, you drift into thinking. What if they're different? I mean, how different could they be, right? Matt can't love jokes and games any less, and Mello.... yeah. He's probably different. Oh yeah. When he left, he didn't even say goodbye. And when Matt left, it was even harder on both of you. You two were all you had for years until you left that hell-hole house. And then you woke up one day, and he was gone, leaving nothing but a note telling you what was happening, and one singular picture of you, Matt, and Mello together, which Matt said in his note to take to your grave. You planned on it.
----
"Finally" you groan, rubbing your very sore behind "I thought I'd die before I got here. I sort of wish Kira had gotten to me, that was brutal. Okay, last time I flew with Near we just walked out and there was a car there. I'll just do the same thing."
As you walked throgh the glass doors of the airport, you saw a pecular looking car parked near the curb of the entrance you came out of. You looked for the driver, only to see a highly familiar face. Leaning o the front side of the car was Matt, smoking and glaring at the people around you, obviously not wanting to be there. There he was, stnding there after years. You didn't know weather to cry or punch him. Well, you did both.
You dropped your bag and ran to him, feeling tears run down your face. Matt looks at you and for a second does nothing, before his whole physique changes. He opens his arms, smiling and calling your name the same way he did when you were kids and hadn't seen each other for a couple hours. Only this time it had been years.
You jumped into his embrace, him twirling you around in pure joy, you bawling at this point, and him laughing, partly out of joy and partly out of how silly you looked. He set you downand for a couple minutes, didn't let you go, just enjoying having you around again. Until you punched him. Hard. In the chest.
"Ow! God damn." He exclaimed "What the hell?!"
"How dare you leave me and not take me with you, you bastard? You were all I had left Matt."
For the first time in your whole life, you saw Matt actually feel bad about something. He looked down, dropped his cigar and put it out. That was enough of a apology for you (he knew you hated him smoking). "You're here now, and so am I. And soon it will all be the same again. And please, y/n, don't hit me again. Mello abuses me enough, I don't need you doing it too."
As you were driving in Matt's... eccentric is the word you decided to call it... car, you began to think again about what would happen. What if Mello didn't want you there? What if he was mad at you for staying with Near? Well he left you so if he's mad about that you were going to set him straight.
Matt's car pulled up to the hideout and you got out, Matt guiding your lost in thought body through the hideout to find Mello. You began to think about how Mello looked, all baggy clothes, messy hair and big eyes. You wondered about how much he really changed because it couldn't be that mu-
Holy shit.
Well i hope you guys liked this chapter. It's relatively short but I figured it would be funny to leave it here. I'll write chapter 2 within the next two weeks ish, unless someone wants me to write sooner. ;)
Kisses xo

A Midnight Snack
L Lawliet x fem!Reader
Click. Click. Click. Sitting with L on the cameras was exhausting. He was relentless in his pursuit of Kira, and nothing, not even sleep, would stand in his way.
Click. Click. Y/N ground her teeth in frustration. The fatigue she felt was one thing, but the constant clicking of L’s mouse was totally different type of annoying. She looked over at the detective. He was sitting how he normally did – hunched over, with his feet gathered under him, and his head drooping past his shoulders. Y/N thought about the absurdity of the situation. Here she was, a rookie, with one of the greatest, if not the greatest, detectives of all time. She was tasked to help him during the night shift; the job had turned into little more than over-glorified babysitting, as Y/N soon found out that L didn’t really need that much help.
Click. Another click L’s mouse snapped Y/N out of her thoughts. She huffed and buried her face in her hands. It was going to be a long night.
“Is there something wrong?”
Y/N looked up. Owlish eyes peered back at her.
“I asked you a question.”
“Ah, sorry. Nothing’s wrong, Ryuzaki. It’s just a long night, you know?”
This seemed to satisfy the detective. He turned back to his computer, and before long, his clicking resumed.
Y/N sighed again. She turned to her desk, and looked down at the mountain of paperwork that laid in front of her. Picking up a pen, she cast one more glance at L before opening up a folder. She had just made it to the second page when L cleared his throat again. Y/N looked and saw L start to unfold himself from his chair.
“Ms. Y/N. I require cake if I’m going to keep up this surveillance. I’m getting some,” L said.
Y/N tilted her head. She watched as L ambled to the kitchen attached to the observation room, and she listened to the clang of plates and silverware. Y/N’s eyes stayed on the doorway, and soon, L came back with a plate stacked with cake.
“Ryuzaki...is there any cake left in the kitchen?” Y/N asked.
L shook his head.
“It would be foolish of me to leave any cake behind. I need all of this sugar, and then probably more after this. My reasoning capacity has gone down fifteen percent already in the last hour and a half. If I don’t eat this cake, I’ll be rendered useless in another thirty minutes, Ms. L/N,” L said. Y/N shook her head and turned back to her paperwork as L settled into his chair beside her. Soon, the rhythm of L’s clicks was punctuated with his chewing.
Click.
Click.
Y/N grumbled, diving further into her documents.
“Here,” L said. Y/N looked up again, only to find a fork thrust into her face. It was loaded with cake, and icing was slowly tilting off the side.
“Uhm?”
“You haven’t eaten all night. It’s affecting your mood. You’re becoming quite irritable, Ms. Y/N,” L explained. “I believe your change in mood is due to your drop in blood sugar. Eat.”
Y/N looked at L incredulously.
“Ryuzaki, I’m fine. Let’s just finish this work and mmfph!?” Y/N bit down on the cake that was shoved in her mouth, and L titled his head and watched as she chewed and swallowed.
“There. You should have an increase in output with the sugar in your system.”
“Ryuzaki! That was completely uncalled for,” Y/N grumbled. L blinked back at her.
“I assure you it was completely necessary. I can’t have my companion being hungry on the job. Back to your work.”
Y/N felt her face heat up and buried her face back into her work.

Monster
Pack x fem!reader and slight Stiles x reader
Summary: Reader loses control of her powers during a panic attack and ends up accidentally barely hurting Stiles. She ends up seeing Stiles and Scott when being chased by the company she had escaped from.
Masterlist
A/N: So the reader has a mix of powers like Eleven and Wanda. I’m a massive Marvel fan and I just finished season one of Stranger Things and was in the mood to right so here you go. I’ll probably write one for marvel too.
Shouting.
Just breathe.
Screaming.
Just breathe. Just breathe. It would be okay, you'd be okay. Your nails dug into your palms piercing the skin but you were numb. You were trapped, as if you sat in the corner of a dark damp room as you curled into a ball and held back tears. It was like someone had thrown you into this dark, terrifying place and twisted the lock shut and no matter how loud you screamed or how hard you banged at the door, nobody came. Your breathing was uneven and your vision was blurring. The small, deep gasps of your breath sounded as if you were about to pass out. Your eyes were filled with such nervousness and almost fear that anybody who made eye contact would surely be greatly concerned for you. But nobody would make eye contact with you because they were too busy arguing. Shouting.
"She's dangerous! You saw what she did to the guy back there! She killed him Stiles!"
You didn't mean to, you didn't mean it. You thought back to everything, training and discipline and the rules, the punishments. The small cupboard where you were trapped whenever you'd mess up, the killing animals, the focusing your powers to stop people's hearts, snap their bones, empty their lungs. You didn't mean to kill him but he knew. He knew everything about how you were raised, what you had done, what you were forced to do. He knew the people you hurt, you killed. He was taunting you, messing with you. It had built up, like it was now, and a switch was flipped. You eyes glowed purple and suddenly his neck had snapped. But you didn't mean to.
"It was protection Scott! He was trying to kill her!"
"Stop it," you whispered, voice shaking but they couldn't hear you. Everything seemed to close in, slowly depriving the room of oxygen. You felt as if the four white walls were dragging themselves forward and surrounding you to the point were your body ached from the pressure of having to squeeze yourself close. You was quick to bury your face between your knees to try and drown out any colour, any shadows, any movement, any shout. "Stop, stop it. Please stop," You sobbed, shaking as you rocked slightly on the couch, the blood from your palms staining the knees of your jeans. You looked up, eyes flickering purple every now and then as they continued to shout.
"She murdered someone!"
"It was self defence!"
"He said she'd killed before, that she kill again! She can't be trusted!" Scott was right. You couldn't be trusted. You were dangerous and out of control and you were a monster. And now you were tearing apart the pack unintentionally. "Stop it, please, stop," You noticed Lydia look to you along with Kira and Liam. They seemed to know just how on edge you were, worry but also hesitance etched on their faces.
"We don't know that, we don't know who that guy was!" Stiles shouted and you shot up, hands faintly glowing the same shade of purple as your eyes. Tear marks stained your cheeks and your whole body shook in fear as the power coursed through your veins. Stiles and Scott still didn't notice, too engrossed in the argument to spare a glance. The rest of the pack, however, noticed. They backed up, trying to subtly get the boys' attention. But that didn't happen, they didn't stop. "Stiles, face the facts-"
"STOP!" You voice was distorted, hair flying back in the blast. A wave of purple mist hit the group, all of them stumbling back and a couple even falling over. Windows smashed, walls cracked, shelves tumbled, belongings falling everywhere. You fell, collapsing to the floor from where you had been floating inches off the ground. You shook slightly, looking round at the scared teenagers as you eyes flickered again. You breathing became uneven once more, a knot tightening and n your chest when you saw the blood dripping from Stiles' nose. With a sharp intake of breath, you fell back against the sofa and stared at your shaking hands in fear. You'd hurt him, how could you do that.
You couldn't be trusted.
You were hurting people.
Murderer. Monster.
"I'm sorry, I didn't- I don't- hurt you, I'm sorry," you stood slowly, watching them flinch in fear as you looked at them all. Stiles seemed to be the only one who wasn't terrified, quickly getting up and carefully walking towards you. "Hey, I'm fine. See," He wiped the blood from his nose only for more to fall. He went to take another step forward but you shook your head, backing away towards the door, "Don't. I didn't- please don't. I'm- monster, I'm sorry," the door had flung open, the purple mist from your hands, and now at the door, fading away as you stumbled out. You managed to get down the steps and onto the pavement when you heard the calls of your name from all of them. Knowing they were following, you spun round with your hands held out. The mist not only surrounded your fingertips but had made a small wall between you and them. One hand stayed aimed towards them whilst you looked around for some kind of car or transport and with a wave of your hand, a bike had flown over to you. Looking back to them, your eyes met Stiles' as you spoke, "Don't,"
Your hand fell as the wall disappeared and you wiped your bleeding nose as you hopped on the bike, starting down the road shakily.
-
Run. You just had to run. Either you run or they get you and you were not going to let them get you. In hindsight, running in the forest barefoot with your ripped and ragged clothes wasn't a good idea. You could feel twigs and thorns pierce your skin but you didn't stop. You cringed every time a leave crunched or a stick snapped but you didn't stop. You could hear their shouts in the distance and with one last quick glance over your shoulder, you saw the flash of a gun and sped up.
Reaching a road, you let the panic settle in as you watched them catch up. About to continue down the road, you heard the blue jeep before you saw it. Scott had opened the passenger door and heard to the back as he called for you, "Get in!" Looking at the guns that were aimed at not only you but the jeep too, you shook your head. Stiles got out of the jeep and began to make his way over to you, Scott just behind him. "Come on, we'll get shot!" Shaking your head again, you watched the soldiers surround you before watching one man step forward ever so slightly, Dr Smith. "Test subject 095, come in and these boys won't get harmed," you glared at him, eyes glowing purple as you got into more of a fighting stance. "Liar,"
He took another step forward, hand by the gun he had at his waist, "Come back peacefully, that's all we ask. I'm going to make you better again, you're sick," You didn't dare look to the boys next to you instead focusing on the approaching van they'd no doubt take you away in. You watched two more soldiers leave it and let the power freely surge through your veins. "Liar!" You screamed, hands moving fast as the soldiers' eyes flashed purple and they aimed their guns to the doctor now. He held his hands up in surrender as you marched forward. "Don't shoot me, I'm the only one who can make you better," With a shaky breath, you leaned forward and being able to see your glowing eyes reflected back to you didn't faze you. "Mercy," you growled, waving your hand to make the soldiers snap out of it and willingly leave. You knew none of them were in control when working for the company, all being forced to work there. You'd have to help at times, keep them under control that is.
The doctor's hand dropped and you waved your hand to cuff his hands. Nose scrunching at the feeling of the fear in your veins, you pushed it down to pick up a gun and press it against the man's back to force him into the van. You watched as he reached for his pocket as pull out the syringe and with a heavy sigh, you dropped the gun and took a couple of steps back, "No," You brought your hands up and watched as you lifted the van, making it fall onto his legs after tripping him up. He screamed as you turned, feeling the blood drip from your nose and ears, coming face to face with a shocked Stiles and Scott. "That was...awesome!"
You smiled sheepishly almost at Stiles' comment, glancing to a grinning Scott. The werewolf's expression fell as he met your eyes, "I'm sorry, I didn't realise and I was wrong. Can we be friends?" You nodded quickly, a grin taking over your face as you rushed over to the jeep, jumping into the back. Both boys climbed in too, watching as you moved your hands over your scratched feet and legs, the skin sewing itself together it seemed. You then reached up to wipe the blood from your nose on your already red stained wrist but Stiles passed you back a tissue with a quick worried smile. Nodding in thanks, you wiped your nose then you wiped the blood from your ears, glancing down to your ruined clothing. The jeep started up and you remained silent as you fiddled with your fingers.
"Sorry," you mumbled slightly and saw both boys look to you. Scott sighed and shook his head, "No, it was our fault," due to a pointed look from Stiles, Scott changed his words which made you smile, "My fault. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions and I'm sorry," you nodded in understanding before leaning forward to speak to Stiles, "I hurt you, sorry," the boy shook his head, sending you a gentle smile. You worried he wasn't going to accept your apology but he chuckled slightly, glancing to you, "I'm fine," he looked to your lips and with a small shrug, lent forward to peck them making you both grin like mad. Clearing your throat, you ignored the blush in your cheeks as you watched him smile widely as he faced the road. "Promise?"
"Promise,"

Kira Yoshikage x Fem!Reader Hand Fetish First Time NSFW
Anon said: "Ok but I love your work oml. Could I request a nsfw KiraxReader? Something where she and Kira have had a kinda vanilla sex life up until now, but during sex she decides to take control and realizes Kira has a hand kink and is actually into it? With lots of praise for her and degradation for him if possible 👉👈"
Once again, tumblr tried to screw me over with this one. Wrote 700 ish words, saved and then wrote another 400-500, clicked somewhere on my mouse pad and it closed the draft. I was nowhere near the close button. Tumblr. Do better. Auto save posts. And then my browser closed out of nowhere while I was trying to rewrite it. Fun, am I right?
Wanna know what I’m willing to write? Rules here!
Have a character, but no idea? Prompt list here!
Looking for more? Master post here!
WARNINGS: Mostly sweet kisses, breast play, hand fetish/kink (both parties), praise, oral (cunnilingus/vaginal and hands) choking (Kira receiving as well as reader at the end), degradation, teasing, riding, cream pie.
Word Count: 1523
Gentle lips trailed down your body, leaving kisses wherever they could. A light gasp left your mouth as they press into your soft breasts. Kira hums in appreciation, using his thumbs to massage into your hips. He wraps his mouth around your nipple, tongue swirling around it. You arch into his touch, letting out a pleasant moan.
Satisfied with the state he’s left you in, he lifts his head up, bright blue eyes looking sweetly into yours. You bring your hand up, cupping his cheek, watching him seemingly melt into your touch. More kisses were placed on your palms and fingers, gradually getting more feverous with every passing moment. You chuckled. He’s always been a little weak to your touch, it was sweet really.
You couldn’t count how many times you had watched him get distracted from whatever he was doing as your hands drift over his sides, wrapping your arms around him in a hug. Or how often he came home from work, clearly stressed about something. Without fail, you would walk over to him, gently brushing your delicate fingers across his cheekbone. And without fail, he would lean into you, lavishing your hands with gentle kisses until he felt better.
Though, it never quite lasts as long as you wanted. Kira’s kisses had always been special, but when your hands are in his; when his lips are brushing against your palm, there’s a rush that surges throughout your body. He always seems to notice this and cuts things off before you have the chance to make sense of the wave of feelings. You begin to wonder what would happen if he stayed. What would he do?
Your mind begins to wander as he continues to decorate your palms with his lips, gradually moving down to your collar bones. You feel his hips roll into you, sending you further into your fantasies. Images of his mouth wrapped around your thumb, enveloping it in warmth. A moan dances over your lips. The image changes to him cleaning something off your palm, but it’s only there for a minute.
“You’re so good, (Y/N).”
He breaks you out of your daze, moving his attention lower and lower until he’s hovering above his genitals. Kira places a delicate kiss above his prize before diving in. His tongue licks a long stripe up from the bottom of your vag then up to your clit. You keen, lifting your hips up into his mouth.
“Don’t move, (Y/N)-that’s it. Stay right there. So beautiful.” His voice is barely above a whisper as he kisses into your plush thighs for a moment, basking in the warmth of your skin. His lips return to your wet folds. Your hands run through his blonde locks, careful not to mess his hair up too much. The hum he lets out vibrates throughout your body, encouraging him more.
Kira’s eyes roll back into his head as your fingernails graze against his scalp, setting his nerves on fire. His hands dig into your hips a little more rough than he normally would, attempting to shift his focus to something other than your hands. He knows his nature all too well and has been trying to avoid it, not wanting to lose you just yet. The grip on his hair gets tighter as he hits a nerve in you, one finger slipping in, pushing on your sweet spot.
“Oh!” You cry out, not caring about his hair anymore, just wanting him to- “oh! There! Yes, yes, yes!”
The same dialogue is running through his mind as your hands tease him more, threatening to push him over the edge. His boner is almost painful now, pressed into the mattress. He moans again, losing himself in the moment all too quickly.
Suddenly, he pulls back, practically throwing your hands off him. Too soon. Not yet.
Kira catches his breath while you catch yours, avoiding your gaze. You lean up, bringing your hand back to his cheek. The desperate moan he lets out surprises both of you, wrapping his hand around yours. His breath is heavy. You’re so soft. So warm.
“Kira?” You whisper his name. Very rarely have you seen him like this, so riled up. Normally, he would leave, but your touch has him under some kind of spell. What would happen if you push him a little more? The images of him from before return to you, hanging in front of you, tempting you. You graze your thumb over his lips, testing the waters.
A desperate, breathy moan rips through his throat and he leans in further, holding your hand close.
“Do you like that?” You ask.
“Oooh~ yes,” he moans. You think for a minute, then decide to turn the tables.
“Get on your back,” you order, gently pushing on his neck, forcing him to lean back.
“What.” He looks at you a little perplexed, but there’s something in his eyes, some kind of spark that urges you to go further.
“I said-” you drove him further back, letting your voice drop into a more serious tone “-get on your back.”
He complies, hands drifting to your hips, helping you situate yourself on his lap. God, what a temptress you were, turning him on like this. You rocked your hips back and forth, teasing the tip of his cock with your slick folds. He loved it. Your hands squeezed a little more, watching his eyes roll back in bliss. You don’t know what came over you two, but you were thankful. Not that your sex life was boring by any means, but seeing him so-
“Uuuhnn!~” He moans loudly, matching the movement of your hips.
Submissive. It makes you wish you had done this sooner.
“Not so fast, dear.” You coo, brushing his cheek with your free hand. “Be good for me and stay still, you can do that, right?”
“Yesss.” Kira hisses. Control was what he did best, of course he could stay still. You moved your hand again, this time, gently raking your nails down his chest and he moans loudly again. Maybe he couldn’t control himself. You were so close, mere centimetres away from pushing him over the edge. “M-mooorrre.”
Your thumb glides up his chin, settling on his bottom lip. He opens his mouth, expecting you to put it in, but you don’t.
“More? Tch, greedy.” You smile down at him, slowly replacing your thumb with your index and middle finger. “Open.” He obeys eagerly.
With your free hand, you reach behind you, positioning his cock at your slick entrance. Slowly, you slide your fingers into Kira’s mouth. At the same time, you spear yourself on him, relishing in the way he stretches you perfectly. You both moan at the combined feeling, basking in each other’s warmth. His tongue swirls the underside of your fingers, setting your nerves on fire.
His fingers dig into your thighs, nails no doubt leaving crescent shapes in your skin. The confidence he had in his control was quickly fading the more you pushed your digits into his mouth. You rolled your hips forward, equally losing yourself in the newfound pleasure. Why hadn’t you tried this before? The feel of your fingers, enveloped in warmth affected you more than anticipated, leaving you with an ache in your core that was quickly satisfied by his length pushing into every sweet spot you had.
You wanted more. You bring your unoccupied hand to his throat again, watching his eyes roll back into his head.
“Do you like this, Kira? Do you like when I take control like this?” He groans under you, unable to contain himself. “Who knew you could be tamed this easily? I would have done this sooner if I had known it would have made you such a mess.”
That was it. That was all he needed to break. Your hips rocked just so, causing you to slip, pushing down on his neck more. Kira saw white as he pinned your hips to his, keeping you still while he quickly unloaded himself in you. Slowly, you pulled your hands back, watching his face as he came down from his orgasm. He seemed to be stuck in a perpetual state of bliss as you massaged circles into his collarbones.
Finally, he came back to you, satisfaction painted all over his face. He traced a delicate finger over your cheekbone before cupping it in his hand. You nuzzled into it, basking in the warmth. Then, his thumb trailed over your lower lips just like yours did before. You enjoyed it for a moment, then realized what he was doing, shooting him a shocked look. Playfully, you try to pull away, not wanting to get trapped, but he was too quick, grabbing hold of your neck and pushing you back while he sat up.
He was still between your legs as your back pressed into the mattress. Kira’s eyes seemed a little darker now.
“Did you really think you’d get away with that, (Y/N)?” He pressed his lips into yours, biting the lower one gently. You had a sneaking suspicion it was going to be a long night.

to my youth
synopsis: kwon soonyoung liked you for a long time and now it's time for him to step up his game and enjoy his youth with you.
pairings: fem!reader x kwon soonyoung (hoshi)
genre: warm fluff
music: hello by JOY
word count: unknown (will edit this soon)
warnings: lowercase, misspelled words, wrong punctuation, sentence construction, and grammar.
author's notes: hi, i am new to the tumblr society and i really have no one to interact to, so i guess i'll be dropping my carrd later on my bio (?!) and let's be friends everyone!! i hope you'd like this first short fluff that i wrote ♡
good thing the weather app on your phone notified you first thing in the morning that it'll be cold today. 7 degrees isn't that bad at all rather than experiencing a series of negative temperatures for over a month.
you quickly tucked yourself into your favorite cream polyester sweater you bought last week at an online store. you weren't really expecting the high quality material of the clothes they sell but at a reasonable price, it was really a gain. as you gently comb your dark hazelnut locks infront of your frameless curved mirror, a knock on your bedroom door startled you.
"some guy from your school is waiting for you here! come out now you sloth" kira, your sister, yelled as she smiled at the guest who was sitting uncomfortably in your living area.
soonyoung was a bit embarassed at what he did today. it wasn't suppose to be like this, he thought to himself. afterall, he only planned to wait for you outside patiently and when he hears your gates slam, that's when he'll act like he just passed by your house and he's on his way to school.
but while soonyoung was waiting for you, kira saw him as she threw last night's garbage nearby. she thought of letting him in once she saw the same uniform you were wearing. as the big sister that she is, kira knew something is up with this guy. there are two options: a.) this guy is definitely into her little sister and b.) they're secretly dating.
"who is it anywa–"
soonyoung trembled. damn, how is she so pretty early in the morning? he thought. of course, soonyoung is once again struck by your ethereal existence that made his fluffy cheeks warm and turn bright red.
kira knew exactly the answer to her question. it was letter b. this punk likes y/n, kids these days.
"s-soonyoung?" you said in a shocked tone, "what brings you here?"
kira smirked while he was about to open his mouth to speak. yet, it seems like there were no words coming out of his tongue. "i saw him waiting outside and when i asked him if he was your friend, he nodded so i brought him in" she butt in.
shit. "i look like a creepy stalker now, what do i do?" he whispered, enough for him to only hear it.
you knew kwon soonyoung as the cheeky guy from your neighborhood. probably because he brought you those picked dandelions from his mother's beloved garden that made her furious and let him eat green peas for a month as his punishment.
he always found a way to get closer to you that he wanted more than just being friends. you also weren't that dense type of person but somehow you also felt that soonyoung is, somehow, into you. there were a couple of times wherein you wanted to ask about it but, it'll only seem awkward so instead, you held yourself back from it.
"well, let's go to school now!" you wore your pastel purple puffer jacket and pulled soonyoung's sleeve on your way out.
"i'm sorry i shouldn't have–"
"you're sorry for nothing mr. 10:10" you jokingly said as you stuck out your tongue with the funniest face you have and ran off the quiet road with a large grin on your face.
to you, it was really sweet of him to wait outside of your house, just for the both of you to walk to school together. but, he could have at least asked you though, you definitely wouldn't say no. honestly, that small thought made you smile that it made you hope for a perfectly warm weather and a series of good luck this whole afternoon. as you skipped happily like a 7 year old child who got her first very good stamp on the back of her hand, soonyoung was there, admiring every inch of you. he loves you, and he knows it. he will never deny that fact afterall, you just made his heart melt again for the nth time.
with the start of the blooming season—spring, soonyoung knew he would love to spend his youth with someone whom he truly cherish. and that's you.
"i like you a lot!" he yelled at the top his lungs. "i like you so much y/n!" his sweet and mellow voice filled the serene neighborhood with butterflies and warmth inside your fragile heart that was beating rapidly and loudly with the words he just uttered out of nowhere.
you stopped walking and turned around to him slowly. huh?
you weren't sure about the exact response to give him, so he smiled gently and ran his way towards you. with glistening eyes, he held your cold hands tightly and bravely said the words, enough for you to feel your own heart beating.
"i like you, y/n"
soonyoung said it again. without any pause. his dark eyes glued to yours.
that's when everything stopped, as if the world paused for a moment. you knew this was the start of something extraordinary in your youth—with him.

Puzzle to solve
Puzzle to solve
Death Note: L Lawliet x fem!Reader
Warnings: “spoilers”? If you haven’t watched DN, mentioning of death, some slight angst but a bittersweet ending... maybe?
summary: When the greatest detective L was feeling that his life is coming to an end, he recognized his last seconds were like a cheesy book would describe it: his life flashed before his inner eye and recalled his first meeting with his lover, as she was the last thing he had seen
My requests are open!! submit here .
“Making money off of your niece with her intelligence?”
The moment she had decided to help her beloved, (Y/N) knew what she was getting herself into. It was the first topic every night when the investigators parted ways and only her stayed behind to enjoy a little bit of privacy in their lately secluded relationship. It hasn’t been this dangerous since the Los Angeles BB murder case.
“Yet she isn’t intelligent enough so you plan on combining our abilities?”
While Watari was on the line with the investigators who had gathered in front of Ryuzaki, the main head of the Kira case. “Wait Ryzaki!”, said Aizawa, one of the members of the Japanese Task Force, the very organization to catch Kira. “It does sound a little bit off and dangerous Ryzaki.. another humans life is at stake.”, said (Y/N) calmly as the delicate hand got a grip on her chin, thinking about what plan the detective just proposed. “What does it even accomplish?!”, yelled the same male at the pale man who sat in front of the computer screens.
“Obviously, to see if the notebook works.”, he answered. His plan was to pick one criminal who was scheduled for an execution and write their name into the Death Note. “Watari, I want you to contact a leader of a country who would agree to this.”, Ryuzaki stated calmly into the microphone, awaiting his butlers response, although nothing came. The only sound that came through the speaks flying into the ears of the investigators was a loud crash- “Watari?”, asked (Y/N) with concern lacing her voice, eyebrows furrowed she takes a step forward.
“Would you still like to meet her, L?”
“Watari what’s wrong, answer us.”, stated Ryuzaki in a low tone, although he as well was concerned for the man he knew almost his whole life. One thing led to the other and- “Data deleted?”
“What’s going on!”, asked Matsuda as he stepped forward too, to get a better look at the situation unfolding before everyone. All of the screens in front of the Task Force read “All data deleted.”, were the computers perhaps corrupted? No, this can’t be.
Ryuzakis head lowered, his long and soft dark bangs falling into his face. “No, this can’t be-!”, almost dropping the act, (Y/N) stopped herself. Even in situations like these, she cannot afford to risk her life and give away her true identity, even if something had happened to her beloved uncle.
Luckily, (Y/N) lover and partner in crime beat her to it, cutting her off by an explanation and confirming her dangerous train of thought: “I told Watari to delete all the possible files he can delete if something would have ever happened to him.”, his eyes growing as colder and fixated as a rock on the screen reading the letters, “If something would’ve happened to him.. you don’t mean that he could’ve died, do you..?”, asked the usual cheerful Matsuda carefully.
“H-hey, wait a second-”, stuttered Aizawa as he was glancing around the room, (Y/N)s ears perked up, “where is the Shinigami?!”
Taking a spoon, ready to dive into the plate full of sweet chocolate cake, Ryuzaki spoke up, “Everyone, the Shinigami--”, but before he could continue his sentence, he stopped in his tracks, sucking in the air sharply, making (Y/N) turn around quickly, as if a lightning had forced itself through her veins.
It was silent, “Ryuzaki..?”, asked Matsuda quietly.
L’s grip loosened as the cold spoon softly made its way out of the grasp of the males slender, pale fingers before meeting the ground harshly. A few seconds in and soon L’s body had followed the spoon, right about to hit the linoleum floor.
(E/C) orbs widening, seeing her lovers figure fall, she acted quickly, catching up to L’s body and falling with it, only to land in Lights- “L, what’s wrong- hey!!”, she started, softly yet harshly at the same time touching L’s cheek. Her heartbeat quickening, “Answer me, damnit!”, she said as she tried to shake the man back into consciousness, yet he wouldn’t come back.
All that his onyx eyes caught on to were the ones of the most beautiful woman in his life.
“Yes.”
“Would it be alright if I’d bring her around tomorrow by 8?”
“Yes, mister Wammy. I will make sure to be free of any cases.”
“L don’t you dare to joke around, wake the hell up!”, switching back and forth to japanese and english, (Y/N) called out to L. He on the other hand hadn’t found the strength to respond in any form- he didn’t feel pain, strangely enough, he couldn’t feel anything. Thoughts clouding his mind he couldn’t decipher which was real and which were memories of his life. He heard the voices of the Task Force, Light, Watari, (Y/N)- it was all a mix, echoing in his head. Feeling a certain wetness on his face, like a gentle and warm rainfall a piercing scream was heard.
“Uncle Quillsh, will we go meet the boy you were telling me about?”, setting down her teacup, the little girl smiled as Quillsh Wammy answered with a ‘Yes Miss (Y/N)’. “We will leave today?”, another yes and another excited giggle: “So this is why you made me dress up this fancy.” Letting her short legs dangle down the seat, she let her uncle Quillsh finish up tying her hair neatly into two cute ponytails, before jumping down and taking his hand into hers.
“Why do you think am I suited as his partner, uncle Quillsh?”, asked the smart seven years old. The old man only chuckled at his niece curiosity, “I am almost certain you will get along quite well with L.”
Opening the door to the mansion he left the orphan to solve ‘puzzles’, as he’d like to call it, he lead his little niece inside. “With your outstanding knowledge about human emotions, I’m sure it will be easy for you to keep the little guy in check.”
“In check you say...”, pouting at Quills choice of words, too lazy to attend to more work than the investigations the little girl had to go through under her alas. Waiting for a response after they had knocked on to a door leading to the detectives room, the little girl wondered: would he be another puzzle to solve? Not that she didn’t mind, just like the mastermind himself, she loved the difficulty. But humans are sure far more difficult to deal with.
Stepping inside the room, she noticed a boy sitting in the middle of it, in front of a seemingly uncountable number of computers. “Good morning, L.”, said Quillsh, “This is my niece, (Y/N)”, gently pushing her into his direction, the boy didn’t mind to turn around. He didn’t say anything, but that never necessarily meant that he wasn’t interested into something.
One simple look at the little boy was enough for the girl to determine, that he actually wasn’t as hard to solve as she thought he would be. She wouldn’t even have to keep up with his intelligence, for some reason, that she can not explain, had an easier time than anybody else to read the mononymous person L. He seemed emotionless (that’s how Quillsh would describe him as) but he was still human after all.
As the silence grew, L slowly turned around, wondering why she hasn’t spoken up- that’s how girls usually are right? Not like he would know though, he never had a friend.
Th darkest sets of eyes, circled by an unhealthy dark tone met up with beautiful (E/C) globes.
Yet it wasn’t for her beauty that sparked his interest, it was her unique nature.
He secretly cursed himself in those 40 seconds that he was not able, in his whole life, to ask this very girl- this woman- to be his wife.
“Please, (Y/N), calm down..!”, one of the investigators tried, yet Light only dismissed them. Maybe for his amusement to continue watching his enemy squirm, but something stirred inside of him.
Gently gazing intently into her visage, it was like L was just laying there, untouched by the deaths kiss. But now he was gone, and yet here she was, her puzzle left unsolved.

Just Friends - Part 4
plot: fubu set up with Kuroo as a university student, model fem reader
word count: 5612
A/N: I enjoyed writing this chapter, thus the extra thousand words. Don’t know how I should tag this. Smut, fluff, sexual tension (even though they had sex already?) I don’t really know lol.
Listening to Over and Over Again by Nathan Sykes while writing the rooftop scene.
There’s still 4 chapters in my head. I know its so long already but like I just can’t let go of my original vision haha
Part 3 | Part 5 | m.list
After you finish reviewing your last paper for the semester, you walk to his couch and let yourself fall on it.
“Finally!”
You’re done with the semester. You feel relief, but you also feel the weariness of the past weeks coming down on you. You thought that when you finish all your requirements and exams, the first thing you’re going to do is have sex with Kuroo. Especially since you were at his place already.
“You done with your paper?” he says loudly from his room.
‘Yep!”
You hear his footsteps approaching. He lifts your legs up and places it on his lap as he sits. You ignore him and continue to relax. His fingers start to slowly caress your legs up to your thighs. You know where he’s going with it, and it does feel nice, but not sexually.
You sit up, which gets his attention. He makes his move immediately and is about to kiss you. Before his lips touch yours, you cover them with your hands. He stops with a puzzled look on his face.
“Sorry. I know it’s been a while, but I’m still tired.”
He grips your wrist and puts your hand down. He holds both your shoulders and nuzzles your neck.
“Mmm. I can’t change your mind?”
You laugh weakly and ruffle his usual bed hair.
“Let’s watch something on Netflix. Maybe we can ‘chill’ later.” You give him a lopsided smile which he returns.
“Alright. What do you wanna watch?”
“Romance.”
He frowns at you.
“What? I wanna watch something that does not need my full attention.” You defend yourself.
“Mkay.”
It’s been around an hour since the movie started. Your mind is afloat while you watch. You can’t follow the story, but you like this state of doing nothing and something at the same time. You check on how Kuroo is, only to find him asleep. You’re amused at how this isn’t so surprising. After all, you aren’t the only one who juggled studies. You’re not even sure if he’s done with his own.
You scoot beside him. You’re about to wake him up to tease him about sleeping, but he looks really out of it. You stare at him for a while. You don’t tell it to him because he’s going to rub it in your face, but he really is good-looking. You brush up his bangs that was always blocking his face. You get a full view of his features. You’ve never paid attention to how he looks when sleeping.
Before you know it, you lean closer to him and kiss him on the forehead. After your lips leave his skin, you freeze in horror. What the hell did you just do?!
You’re only friends with benefits. Nothing about that was sexual nor friendly. You know your boundaries. You shouldn’t have done that. You don’t even like Kuroo like that. Right?
You shake your head furiously. No no no. You’re just really tired. Maybe your brain absorbed the romance even though you weren’t fully paying attention to the movie. Yeah. That was it.
You like Kuroo for sex and sex only.
You shake him furiously. He sits up abruptly.
“Huh? What happened?” He’s obviously startled by how you shook him, but his eyes are still a bit disoriented.
You stand up and remove your shirt. Your shorts go next. He puts his arms on his thighs and slouches a bit to look at you more closely. His once-disoriented eyes are now completely focused on you.
You hold his gaze as you strip yourself naked down to your underwear. That was all it took for the air to sizzle with lust. Since you’re at it, might as well make the most out of it. You stride slowly towards him. You give your hips a bit of a sway, lingering minutely in each step you take. You keep your eyes on his, not faltering in any way.
When you reach him, you straddle his lap. His hardness that’s rasping his flimsy boxers instantly lets you know that he enjoyed the show. You cup his face and kiss him right away. You don’t waste any time. You stick your tongue on his mouth as you grind on his hard-on. You want to feel him more. You want it now. You have to harshly remind yourself that this is what you came for.
You take out his member and position it at your entrance.
Kuroo pulls away from the kiss. He holds your hips in place, stopping you.
“Is something wrong, kitten?”
His lust-filled eyes now have a hint of worry in them. Why should it matter if something is wrong? That shouldn’t be an issue. You want to be had. Plain and simple.
Damn it. You don’t like how this is making you feel.
“Nothing. Don’t you want it?” you ask impatiently.
“Hah! Of course I do. But you seem upset.”
You underestimate how he notices almost everything. No way you’re going to let him know what’s going on in your head.
You sigh. You hug him and purr on his ear.
“Tetsu, I badly need you to fuck me right now.”
He grunts. You never use his first name. You don’t use swear words as well. Only now.
That does the trick. You feel him twitch underneath you. You feel his grip tighten on your hips that it almost hurts.
“Oh kitten,” he places an open-mouthed kiss at your shoulder.
“I’m gonna ruin you tonight.” You shiver at how dangerously he said those words.
He pulls your hair, making you look at him again. You shudder at the raw desire completely visible on his face.
He plays with one nipple with his tongue while his right hand gropes the other. His left hand goes to your groin. He traces the warmth of your slit and rubs your clit at the end of his strokes. You grip his shoulders tightly for support. You yelp when he bites the hard bud while inserting two fingers inside you.
Ahh yes. This is what you want, to let both of your carnal hunger for each other take over you. To let it cloud your head and consume you until your mind goes blank.
—
You look for your laptop in the back seat, but it wasn’t there. You’re a hundred percent sure that you did not take it to your unit last night. You were so out of it that you just got inside, laid down, and slept. That could only mean that you left it at his apartment.
You hurriedly take out your phone and dials his number. After three rings, he picks up.
“Hey. Can I go there? I think I left my laptop there.”
“I’m not home, but I do have it with me. I was just about to call if you’re at campus.”
“Actually, yes I am.”
“I’m around the area. I’ll be there in 20 minutes or so.”
“Alright. Thanks!”
You drop the call first.
You find a seat at the benches near the university gate. You’ll just wait for him here so he won’t need to find you.
“Oh hi y.n. Have you submitted our last paper?” It’s Kira, one of your classmates from your Management Theories class. She’s with another classmate of yours, but you don’t remember her name.
You give both of them a frail smile. That was all you could manage.
“Not yet. I’m waiting for someone before I do.”
“You okay y.n.? You don’t look too good. You must’ve stayed up all night for our paper.”
“Hahaha. Yeaaah.”
Blatant lie. You finished your paper early. It was Kuroo that kept you all night. A man of his word he is, he ravaged you senseless. It was only sheer willpower that gave you the strength to drive home at 2am.
In fact, you don’t want to go outside today. Your shoulders are tender. Your hips and legs ache. You feel sore between your thighs. Even walking is a chore You just want to lie down and waste the day away.
You hear your text notification.
“I’m here.”
When you find him, his eyes are already on you. He grins and waves at you. You can see your laptop bag on his hand. You meet him halfway.
“Are you sick?” He puts his hand on your forehead. You swat his hand away.
“No. But my everything hurts.” You speak softly.
“Oya?” You pout and glare at him. He puts up his usual conceited grin.
“You asked for it, kitten.” He inches closer to you and tilts your chin up.
“Remember?”
You feel your face getting warm. You always match his provocations. You don’t back down, but that was when you’re at the confines of his apartment. This is the first time you’re in a public space since you met at the bar. This is your university, your domain. You are very much aware that other students who might know you, are passing by.
You gently push him with one hand.
“Stop it. We’re in public.” You warn him while looking around.
“Alright, alright. Here’s your thing.” He hands you your laptop bag.
“Uhh. Thanks, Kuroo.”
He raises an eyebrow.
“It was Tetsu last night.” You scoff. “That was a one-time thing. You should’ve savored it.”
You freeze when you feel his hand on your cheek. You’re not sure which is warmer, his hand or your face.
“I did savor it.” He pinches it lightly before letting go.
Before you’re able to react, he scurries away with a stupid smile. “Hehe. See ya, y.n” he salutes with two fingers and finally leaves.
You want to be annoyed, but you’re too tired.
“You and your boyfriend look like you came from a magazine. You’re so tall and pretty.” You hear Kira’s voice behind you. You harshly turn around to explain. You wave your hands frantically. “No, no, no. He’s not my boyfriend.”
“Eeehh? But you were so sweet.”
You laugh nervously. “He’s just a friend.”
Kira nods. “You should go home after you submit our paper, y.n. Your face is very red now.”
Damn him.
—
When you passed your paper two weeks ago, that officially ended your semester. Aside from your modeling gigs, you’ve only stayed at home. Kuroo’s been asking if you want to hang out, but you’ve been ignoring him. You needed the rest from juggling sex, work, and studies. You thought that you need to focus on one for now - work. But now you’re getting bored. It’s been two days since your last gig. What should you do today?
An unknown number suddenly pops on your phone.
“Hello y.n.?” It was a familiar calm voice.
“Kenma?”
“Yea. But it’s Kuroo who asked me to call.” You hear fumbling on the other end.
“Oi. Y.n. Why do you answer Kenma’s call but ignore mine, huh?” You sigh. You don’t really want to explain that you need some time away from him.
“Never mind that. I’m at Kenma’s. Wanna play here?”
You perk up. That’s perfect. You don’t have anything to do today. It’s also been a while since you played altogether.
But, you’ve never been over at Kenma’s.
“Is it okay with him?” It might be Kuroo’s idea. You don’t want to impose.
“Kenma! You don’t mind, right?” You hear Kenma but couldn’t make out what he said.
“Yep. He said it was fine. I’ll text you the address.”
You drive to the address he gave you. He said to just enter, so you did. You follow Kuroo’s loud voice to locate them. You open the door where you hear his voice from. Both of them take their eyes away from the screen to see who entered.
“Look who’s back from the dead.” You don’t want to admit it but it was nice to see his usual grin.
“Missed me, Kuroo?” You tease back.
The two-week break did you some good. You’re back to how you are with each other, in your part at least. No weirdness involved.
“Hey Kenma.” you give him a warm smile. He greets back with a curt nod.
“So what’re we playing?” You sit beside Kuroo.
“I wanna race y.n.” Kenma says.
“Ooh. That means you’re in my seat, Kuroo.”
“Fine,” he unwillingly hands you the controller.
You switch places. Kenma goes to his disc collection and looks for the game you’re going to play.
“By the way y.n., aren’t you going to congratulate me?”
“For what?”
Pride shines on his face. “Hehe. I’ve passed all my subjects. I’m officially graduating this semester.”
You gape at him in astonishment. You know he’s a Senior, but you thought he’s going to graduate next semester, not this one.
“Whoa. I- uh.” You don’t know how to react. Should you hug him? Shake his hand? Kiss him?
Wait, what? You shake your head. Kenma’s here. No indecencies allowed.
“But why aren’t you celebrating?” you ask.
“I did already. I was gonna invite you actually, but you weren’t answering my texts,” he says it casually, but his face is serious.
It‘s nice of him to want to invite you to celebrate such a milestone in his life. Maybe you really are actual friends despite being shagmates. Now you feel bad for ignoring him because you felt strange around him lately.
“Um sorry. I didn’t know.” you apologize awkwardly while looking away. Your face lights up when you think of a way to make it up to him.
“Do you want anything in particular as a grad gift?”
“You can ask for that newly released game” Kenma quickly answers from across the room. You laugh when Kuroo makes a face.
“Hey. I’m the one she’s asking.”
Kenma returns to his seat and starts the game.
“Think about it while we play,” you say.
He doesn’t seem to be thinking though. While you’re racing with Kenma, Kuroo keeps on taunting you to beat Kenma. He abandons sitting and moves behind you.
“Left, left. GO LEFT!” With his hands on your shoulders, he nudges your upper body to the left as you swerve through a curve. You two are in sync in movement which adds to your excitement. You go through two nitrous while Kenma slips on a banana.
“Bye Kenmaaaa” you can’t help but egg him on. You’re grinning so hard your cheeks are starting to hurt. You’re almost at the finish line. Finally, you can beat Kenma at something on the first try.
“Haha! Good one, kitten.”
You go rigid. You glance at Kenma to see his reaction. He’s still focused on the game. Hopefully, he didn’t hear. When you return your eyes on the screen, you hit a shell. You slow down while Kenma gets back to being first. You do your best to catch up, but he’s already at the finish line.
“So close.” you groan in frustration. You could’ve won if Kuroo wasn’t such an idiot.
“Heh. My turn.”
“Don’t you need to be somewhere tonight?” Kenma asks Kuroo.
He looks at the time. “It’s way too early,” then he stills for a second before sitting beside you again.
“I know what I want y.n.” His smile tells you upfront that he’s up to something. You ready yourself for what it is.
“Come with me tonight.”
“Where? What for?”
“We have this batch graduation party at a hotel. We’re allowed a +1.”
“Uhh. Why me?”
“Cause you’re pretty.” Kenma says in a nonchalant manner.
“Not just pretty. You’re way hot. My batchmates will be jealous of me nyehahaha.” You just stare at his animated state of idiocy.
“Sorry about him y.n.” When you look at Kenma, he shares the same expression you have.
“Won’t you get bored if I’m there?”
“Nah. I planned to go alone before asking you.”
“Why not ask Kenma?”
“Pass.” Kenma says too quickly.
“That’s why.” Kuroo confirms.
“Don’t you want anything else? I can get you anything.” You try to negotiate something else that you can buy for him.
“That’s too easy for you. And I don’t really need anything.”
You exhale heavily while rubbing your face.
“Okay, sure.” You grumble.
“Yes!” He laughs maniacally.
To be honest, you’re a little uncomfortable about this. You’re sure people will think you’re dating. Ugh. Whatever. Since he asked for it as a gift, you’ll give it to him just this time.
“I’m thirsty. Does anyone want water?” Kuroo suddenly stands up and heads to the kitchen.
“I’m good,” you say while Kenma just shakes his head.
“So,” Kenma spoke as soon as Kuroo left the room. You turn to him.
“Kitten, huh?”
Your whole body tenses up. He heard it! You have no excuse this time. You feign innocence and smile so fake that it’s making you cringe. Kenma’s smarter than you thought. If he pulled this off before Kuroo asked you, you wouldn’t have agreed to it.
Wait. He’s also the one who reminded Kuroo of the event even though it’s still early in the afternoon. Did he do that deliberately because he knew Kuroo’s going to ask you in that instance?
Ugh.
You know that Kuroo is very perceptive, but Kenma’s just on a different level that it’s almost scary.
“I think I’m gonna get some water too.” You make your escape to the kitchen and give Kuroo some verbal beating.
–
Maybe he should’ve gone together with you. It’s been thirty minute since he got there. He’s even late, but he still hasn’t heard from you.
He takes out his phone to call you, but his thumb stops when he sees his outgoing calls history. It was mostly your number from the amount of times he’s called you from the past two weeks. They were all missed though. You never answered him.
Admittedly, he was worried when you were ignoring his texts and calls. That’s why you had to use Kenma’s phone to check up on you because he has no idea where you live.
Of course, neither of you is obligated to reply or show up to each other, but he does care more than a fuck buddy should. It wouldn’t hurt for you to take 5 seconds to reply to his texts. What bothered him the most is that maybe he went overboard with the teasing and pissed you off for real.
He’s glad that you seemed normal this afternoon. You were actually nice to have thought of giving him something for graduation. He didn’t think that you would. You even agreed to be his date tonight. He didn’t exactly phrase it that way earlier because you might feel off with the word ‘date’.
Instead of calling you, he sends a text message to know where you are.
Someone puts a hand on his shoulders. “Hey Kuroo. Are you with someone tonight?” It’s Reiji, a batchmate with the same major.
“Hell yeah I am.” The confidence in his voice makes Reiji curious. “Where is she?”
“Running late,” he answers thriftly. Reiji nods his head and looks around. Reiji suddenly stands up straight and shakes his arm violently.
“Someone brought a hottie. Look!” Reiji continues to shake his arm to urge him to look at said hottie. He doesn’t care though. He looks at his phone to see if you’ve replied.
“I swear, Kuroo. She looks like a freaking model.” The word ‘model’ didn’t go unheard. He instantly turns to the direction Reiji was looking.
Reiji is a fucking tool. You aren’t just hot. You look absolutely divine. You’re wearing a crimson dress that hugged your marvelous figure. It goes just above your knees, but there’s a knot on both sides that hitches the dress higher to show just the right amount of skin on your gorgeous thighs. It has flimsy straps that highlight your neck and shoulders.
The only time he saw you with makeup was the night you met, and that was only lipstick. Tonight, a glossy shade of peach is tinted on your lips. You’re wearing eyeliner that’s intricately drawn, giving your eyes that sultry look.
You’re also wearing heels which makes you stand out even more.
The most captivating of all is how you carry yourself. You are not overdressed in any way. The clothes are just right for the hotel setting. It’s the way you walk with finesse while occasionally glancing at corners that makes you look like royalty who’s checking on her subjects.
Others are also staring, but you don’t seem to notice or maybe you don’t mind at all.
Your eyes finally meet his. He suddenly feels nervous. He has all the cockiness, but he can’t muster any right now. You look down for a while and tuck your hair behind your ears. Then you give him a coy smile before you approach him. Ah fuck.
“What the- Did she just smile at you?!” His lips form a lopsided smile as his ego swells up. He pats Reiji twice. “Sorry dude. That hottie is with me.” He puts his hands on his pockets. He raises both eyebrows and gives Reiji a meaningful look before marching to meet you.
He puts a hand on your shoulder when you’re within reach. The stares that were previously on you are now shared between you two.
“You’re late,” he says in a hushed voice.
“Deliberately, of course. Now everyone knows the pretty girl is with you. Be a little thankful.” You respond in the same manner while giving him a pleasant smile for everyone to see.
You really are a sly one. His hand goes to your waist and leads you to his friends. He introduces you as a special friend of his. He gives them vague answers when they ask if you guys are dating. You ride with it. You don’t just nod when there’s a conversation. You actually join in it and keep up with what’s going on.
There’s a time when he had to leave you for a while because a professor from his department asked him about his plans after graduation. He doesn’t prolong the conversation because someone might hog you.
He excuses himself and finds you giggling with his batchmates. He smiles to himself. You really kept your end of the bargain. You aren’t just the hot chick, you also have wits to boot.
He goes back to your side. “Sorry folks, but I’m getting her back.”
“Whaat? Cmon.” He hears more grumbles of disagreement, but he doesn’t care. He wants you to himself now. You smile politely to them and bows your head. “Nice to meet you guys.”
“C’mon.” He guides you out of the hall. “Where are we going?”
“Just follow me.”
He goes in an elevator and presses the highest button.
“I have to say. I didn’t think you’d cooperate this well.”
You sneer at his indirect praise. “I’m an amazing trophy girl, aren’t I?”
He nods approvingly and claps slowly. “Brilliant honestly.”
You punch him playfully on the arm.
The elevator dings and reveals the rooftop. He lets you go first and follows. The floor is amazing. The lights are warm and there’s soft music playing in the background. The clear view of the city lights is the biggest attraction.
“Woooow,” the look of awe palpable on your eyes.
“Cool, right?” He asks, but you don’t answer. You just absorb the view in front of you. The breeze blows your hair gently, showing more of your profile.
“Don’t you want to sit? Your feet must hurt from those shoes.”
You shake your head. “Not really. I’m used to it. I’ve stood and walked in heels for long periods of time.”
“From work?”
“And family. I’m also their trophy girl sometimes.”
He looks for any hint of sadness but you say that as a matter of fact only. On the contrary, you look back at him with warmth in your eyes.
“Congratulations Kuroo.” The smile he sees is like the one he saw when he cooked for you. He’s a bit moved that you are truly happy for his achievement.
“Thank you.” He returns the sincerity.
You both enjoy the silence and the twinkling lights laid before you. The soft music in the background is the only sound audible presently.
“Come here.” He grabs you by your wrist and pulls you close. He puts your arms around his nape.
“What’re you doing?” You struggle a bit from his grip.
“My gift still hasn’t ended, right?” He outsmarts you, yet again. You blink twice and heave.
“You’re really milking this, aren’t you?”
He wraps his arms arounds your waist when you stop resisting. He starts swaying slowly, following the rhythm of the song. He revels in the feeling of your body pressed to him. The natural thing to do would be to whisk you away from here, take you to his place, and bang you wildly. But that’s not what he wants right now. This. This is enough for him for now. Having you this close gives him unspeakable contentment.
He lifts your chin with a finger so you’ll look at him. He returns his arm to your waist once you’ve locked eyes.
“You really look beautiful tonight.” He finally tells you. You’re too gorgeous not to let you know.
You blink twice at him with your mouth a few centimeters apart. The make-up doesn’t hide the subtle pink shade that suddenly glowed on your cheeks. Lovely. He won’t miss this opportunity.
He swiftly dips down just to stop with his lips a few inches from yours. He can feel you completely tensed. The breath you’re holding is apparent.
“Relax, y.n.” His one hand climbs to your back to caress it, ushering you to ease up. When you loosen up, he claims your lips. When you melt in his arms in complete surrender, it’s enthralling. The warmth of your mouth against his is too good for words. He can’t get enough. You open your mouth letting him slip in his tongue. He adores how you reciprocate with the same passion.
Your right hand travels from his nape to his chest. How this is still non-sexual is beyond him. He can kiss you like this all night.
The ring of laughter that echoed in the air breaks the enchanted bubble you two were just in. A group of people enters the floor. You get away from him hastily.
“We should go.” You tell him while avoiding his gaze. You make your way to the elevator without waiting for him. One of the girls who just came in lingers her eyes at your face. You ignore it and get in the elevator. Kuroo goes right after you.
When the elevator closes, you see your reflection. Your lipgloss was smudged all over. No wonder the girl was staring. You hurriedly get a napkin from your purse to wipe it off.
“Can I take my gift home?” You don’t know if it’s you or his voice lacks the regular egotism it has. You still steer clear of looking at him so you can’t see his face.
You still haven’t recovered. No one has kissed you like that. It was agonizingly delicate but ardent. It felt like drowning but floating at the same time. You can still feel your heart pounding at your chest.
You laugh timidly to shake it off. You need to get back to your cheeky self before he notices.
“Sorry, but the gift is getting tired.” You do your best to look normal when you finally face him.
“I’ll drive you home then.” You want to refuse, but it would be weird. You just told him you’re tired. It’d be obvious that you just want to get away from him.
You defeatedly give him your keys.
The ride to your place was spent in silence. You close your eyes to straighten your mind. It was nothing. That was just a regular make out session done in a very romantic setting. It’s probably completely normal for him, so it should be for you too.
“I’ll let you borrow the car so you don’t have to take a cab home.” You interrupt the stillness. “You don’t have to. It’s still early anyways.”
“Consider it a consolation since you can’t take the gift home.” You did it. You said something your usual self would.
“I’d rather take the gift itself, so no.” Damn it. Just when you thought you’ve regained your sass, he instantly shoots it down. You’re almost at your place.
“Holy shit. You live at Roppongi Hills?!” He says out of the blue. Oh right. You’ve never let him drive you home. You didn’t see the need for him to know where you live. You’re also wary of your privacy. You completely forgot about that because of what happened earlier.
“Parking is over there.”
He stops the engine when he finds a spot. You get out of your car immediately.
“Thanks for driving me home. Night.” You greet dryly.
“I want to see your place at least.”
“Buy why?” You whine in frustration. You just want to lie in bed and distract yourself from any thoughts about him.
“Oh y.n. You’ve been keeping me out since day 1. Now that we’re here, can’t you spare this unfortunate man a peek?” He laments dramatically.
His acting is so bad that your laugh echoed at the corners of the parking lot. God, his humor really gets you. You speak when you catch your breath, “A peek it is then, unfortunate man.” Finally, you feel the air between you two clear up.
He follows you when you go inside the building.
“Good evening, maam.” Ths security guard bows as he greets you.
“He’s with me,” referring to Kuroo. “Good evening, sir,” he greets Kuroo as well.
When you’re out of earshot, he says, “Sometimes I forget how ridiculously rich you are. Maybe I should start calling you milady or somethin.”
“Call me ‘Mistress,’ you lowly servant,” you say jokingly.
His eyebrow and the corner of his mouth both shoot up at the same time. “So you’re into that, huh?”
“I was kidding of course!”
“Let me stay and I’d serve you all night, y.n.”
The right response would be to ask him how he plans to serve you exactly. But you panic instead, the thought of even kissing him again makes you nervous like crazy. Crap, you’re really losing it. You pray that you aren’t blushing.
“Tough luck, Kuroo. I just want to lie down and do nothing for the night.” You bring the conversation back to normal before it escalates into something that involves you and him having any intimate contact.
When you get to your unit, you let him in. You keep the door open. You don’t want to be enclosed here with him in it. The last thing you need is him tainting your place. You don’t want to wake up and realize that he’s had his way with you on your own bed.
His eyes survey every corner, looking very impressed at the interior. “Daaamn. My place is shit compared to this.”
You check your phone. Five minutes from now, you’re kicking him out.
“You can get your water in the fridge if you want.” You mentally praise yourself for keeping the conversation light and breezy.
“Left or right?”
You sigh loudly. You make your way to your kitchen. Halfway through, you hear your door creak. Oh no. You hear it thud close.
“Say y.n., what should I do so I can stay here tonight?” Despite the huge space, you feel trapped. His eyes are intensely piercing on you. You gulp to clear the build-up of nerves that blocked your throat.
“Y-You just can’t.” How dare you stutter!
As he takes his steps to cross the distance between you, you grow even more fidgety. You want to step back, run away even. If he pulls off the same stunt on the rooftop earlier, you don’t know if you can hold back the unwanted feelings you’ve been disregarding recently. You’ve been pushing them at the back of your head, telling yourself excuses, and convincing yourself that it’s nothing. And until tonight, you were successful.
You don’t want to have feelings for Kuroo. You won’t be able to handle the complexity of the situation that would arise.
You waver when he gently strokes your cheek.
“Hey,” he says it so gently that your eyes reach for his, pulled in by the magnetism of his voice.
They hold the same mellow tenderness they had while ago. He’s never been like this with you. Only tonight.
Maybe he - no. You shouldn’t delude yourself like that. This can go very bad for you if you make a mistake. You’ll end up falling for someone who enjoys only the sex and company, nothing more. What you’ve been feeling since you left the hotel is fear. You’ve been repressing all these thoughts and they’ve built up to this situation. You are now in a sitch wherein you’re scared that if he makes his move, you’ll be too powerless to stop yourself.
He lowers his head, closing in inch by inch. Too close for comfort. His lips go past yours and lands on your cheek. It’s only a soft peck.
“I really liked your gift,” he says with authenticity, then lets you go.
He heads for the door. Your eyes absent-mindedly trail him as he exits.
“Good night, y.n” He winks and closes your door.
You go to your bed and sit. Your eyes are fixated at the wall while your brain tries to make out what just happened. You stuff your face in a pillow and squeal with frustration. Who are you kidding?
Kiss or no kiss, you fell for him.

Shadows- Chapter Three
Shadows
A modern monster AU Pairings: Din Djarin x fem!reader Rating: T (at the moment- subject to change) Warnings: Dark themes, canon-typical violence, descriptions of a dead body, desecration and disposal of a dead body. Summary: Crypto- concealed; secret. You have always lived your life in the shadows; after all, you’re one of the creatures who go bump in the night. He has sworn his life to a creed that aims to protect the world from monsters like you.
[Masterlist] [Chapter Two] [Chapter Three] [Chapter Four] Cross-posted on AO3
Satisfaction was not the right word, but it was the closest you could put your finger on as you watched the Mandalorian walk away. You had escaped his clutches twice now. While that was two more times that you would ever want to have a run-in with one of his kind there was still a sense of pride in being able to outmaneuver him. He dedicated his life to killing your kind but here you were, alive, while he was leaving without his target. A victory for you and Kira, no matter how small a success. Though that victory came with a bit of a mess. You and Kira needed to get the hell out of dodge. The gunshots and shouting would have already drawn attention from folks in the pub or out on the street. Which is exactly why you did not carry firearms for most jobs. Too messy.
“Hold this tight.” You’d had a spare scarf in your bag which was coming in handy. It would help staunch Kira’s bleeding long enough to get her into the clinic, so long as you had it tight enough.
Kira waves you off, “stop hovering. Take care of the body.”
As much as you didn’t need your partner bleeding out, she had a point. You had a body to dispose of.
There’s a routine to it. Stripping the outer layers, shoes, valuables and identifiers. The office had people who properly disposed of identification and could make nearly anyone disappear from any record or database. One less hassle you had to deal with.
You spread out the man’s coat and roll the cooling body onto it before ripping off the bottom of his shirt. Next comes the hand. Every slayer seems to have a preferred limb of extremity for proof of death. Some liked ears, fingers and toes, a tongue or an eyeball. You never could find the will to get that up close and personal with a corpse. A whole hand or foot was your preferred token. Easy enough to sever at the joint and it left plenty to identify the bounty with, keeping confusion to a minimum when you handed it over. In comparison it was just a bit harder to carry around and hide.
The man is only a few minutes dead, so the chop-job at the wrist makes a mess all over the bounty’s jacket. How you wished you had your clean up kit with you. Or more time. This was too rushed to be a proper job. The only upside to your location was its convenience-one dumpster at the ready. You toss the body, jacket and shoes before wrapping the hand up in the torn shirt. The last place you want to put the limb is in your purse but you’re out of options. Gross. Normally you had a proper bag prepared for this.
At least the bounty money would pay for a new bag.
Destruction was the last step. Fire was not your preferred method, it left too much behind, but you kept a lighter on your person at all times. Just in case. Though just a little zippo wasn’t going to cut it for a dumpster fire. Alcohol made a pretty decent accelerant and you were standing just outside a bar.
“You done yet?”
“Shove off,” you roll your eyes at the blonde. “You’re not exactly being much help.”
“Uh, bullet wound?”
“Excuses, excuses…”
Rummaging around the loading dock doesn’t help much, there’s no booze left out, which was probably smart on the pubs account. Most of what they had stored in the back looked like kitchen supplies and extra gas canisters for the bar. Those would provide more fire power than you were looking for and draw more attention than was good for such a rushed job. They would have to be your last resort.
“Hey Kira, what’s the flash point of cooking oil?”
“Average to low, I think.”
“Perfect.” You feel a little bad stealing the barrel but you’re in too much of a rush to dwell on it. “Drape my coat over your shoulders and take my purse, head back in and wait for me by the entrance. I’ll be there in a sec’.”
Kira winces a bit as she situates herself. Your coat just covers the blood stain blossoming across her shirt. Hopefully, no one in the pub looks too closely. Or checks the bag. “Got it.”
It’s not as easy as you’d like to hoist the plastic barrel into the dumpster, but you manage, albeit with very little grace. Popping the seal quickly covers the corpse and the rest of the dumpster’s contents in oil. All it takes is you dropping you lit zippo in for it to all go up in flames. Works almost a little too well.
.
“Why am I not surprised it was you two to run into the Mandalorian.” Rosalyn clicks her tongue as she goes about fixing Kira’s arm up with ever steady hands.
“(Y/N)’s a Mandalorian magnet, apparently.”
“Please don’t say that,” you groan. That was the last thing you needed. Mando had cornered you twice now and you did not want to see if the third time was charm for him. You wanted nothing more to do with the mysterious dark-haired man.
“But also an escape artist!” Kira grins despite Rosalyn’s ministrations.
The healer frowns, “she shouldn’t have to be. None of you should have to be. You’ve all got enough to worry about.”
Rosalyn, ever the worrier. Her big heart was the reason she became a nurse instead of a slayer in the first place. You’re not sure where you and the others would be without her. Scratch that, you knew Kira would be dead in a ditch without Rosalyn. She’d patched her up more times than either of you could count.
“We choose this life, Ros. We know the risks- Mandalorians and hunters are part of that risk.”
“None of us chose to be born into this life, to live in hiding from humans who want to kill us because we’re different,” Rosalyn’s voice cracks at the end, her eyes downcast.
She’s not wrong. None of you asked to be half-bloods, to be stuck in the in-between. There were few paths in life for your kind, all full of their own risks. But that was how your cards had fallen. You tried not to dwell on it, but it was not always easy. Some of the things you saw brought your circumstances to the forefront, the cruel indiscriminate nature of hunters being one of them. That had always been the biggest thorn in Kira’s side. Why she was so abrasive and hostile towards them.
“ ’M sorry, Ros. I didn’t mean it like that.”
The nurse forces a smile, “I know…I guess we’re all a little on edge lately.”
“That’s an understatement.” Kira gestures to her now properly bandaged arm, “think I will be now too.”
Rosalyn rolls her eyes, “just pay more attention. Or I’m not fixing you up next time you get shot.”
.
The compound was nearly up and running at full capacity. Families were settling in, supply stores were filling up, the armory stocked and so on. Din allowed himself a moment of pride watching the foundlings training in the yard- the next generation of Mandalorian hunters. It felt like lifetimes ago that he was one of them, day after day of drilling and sparring next to his brothers and sisters. Now Paz leads the training, passing on the wisdom and skills that had been passed to them by the warriors that came before. Passing on the knowledge of the monsters that stalk the world around them.
Monsters like her.
(Y/N)
That was what the blonde had called her.
Slayers, they had called themselves. None of what they had been taught mentioned slayers. There was nothing about monsters killing other monsters. Yet they’d called it their job. Were they some sort of twisted police force?
She certainly did not appear the type. But that’s how they all were. Appearing like something they’re not. Walking around in human skin, the monster swimming just below the surface. Din just had yet to figure what monster was lurking behind her sharp eyes.
“Din Djarin.”
If there was one person in the compound who knew more then he did, more than Paz did, it was the Armorer. Their coverts alor.
“Another successful hunt.”
The words taste like acid on his tongue, “no… I was interrupted.”
“Interrupted?”
“The woman who aided in the escape of the club owner showed up again.”
Armorer pauses, her face pensive, an expression Din does not see her wear often. “Is she tracking you?”
“No.” There was no way (Y/N) had managed to follow him. She’d fled after their first encounter anyways. “She said she was not our enemy.”
“Oh? You’re sure she’s one of them?”
Din nods, “I’ve seen her magic. And she called herself a slayer.”
Armorer’s eyebrows shoot up, “slayer?”
“Is that familiar to you?”
“Only in very old stories,” she muses. “They mimic us in some ways. They rid their kind of nuisances, ones who threaten to expose them, if the old stories are to be believed. I have never seen or heard of their kind otherwise.”
Nuisances. That seems to be what (Y/N) had been doing last night. Attempting to remove a sick criminal whose actions threatened to expose humans to the truth. So why had he never run into one of them until now? He was not new to hunting monsters. Din had a number of years under his belt now -that’s why he was the best in the covert- and he’d never seen or heard of them until he collided with her. Where exactly had they come from and why?
There always seems to be more mysteries with her involved.
“We will need to be vigilant for her and any others on future hunts.”
Din agrees. There could be no more surprises and no more escaped targets. He would not allow it.
.
“It is rather concerning on both accounts.”
You almost felt as if you and Kira were sitting in the principal’s office, about to be scolded for some dumb prank you’d pulled. Not that you’d ever pulled any pranks in school, or gotten in trouble for that matter. The circumstances of your identity meant you did everything in your power to stay under the radar. Quiet, polite, kept your head down. Your principal probably would not have recognized you back then. Yet you still couldn’t shake the odd sense of déjà vu you felt sitting Boss’s office.
“We’ll pass on the information about the bartender to the knights but if he’s gone this long without detection, it won’t be long before he comes back to us on the bounty list.”
“He’ll have a harder time hiding without his partner around to help.” It’s not much but at least even Kira was trying to be optimistic.
“We can hope,” Boss nods. “As for this Mandalorian… it appears your original concerns have been realized, (Y/N). We may need to be more proactive in monitoring the hunter, lest we have another Fett situation on our hands.”
Boba Fett had been a thorn in your office’s side for years before he’d died. Some of his targets had been known criminals with outstanding bounties, much like this new Mando, but others had been innocents, cryptos just going about their lives alongside humans. The community had been up in arms but there was not anything the office was allowed to do. Fett was human. It was the unfortunate circumstances you all had to navigate in your line of work. Your job was to catch criminal bounties, slayers had no power to protect other cryptos. Despite knowing that, locals had become rather upset with the inaction. There was a number of gathering places slayers had been banned from at the time in retribution. Time had smoothed over relations but the new Mando threatened to dredge everything back up again.
“Any luck on tracking down his informant?” If you could take his contact out of the mix maybe the Mando would skip town. There were plenty of other communities for him to terrorize. Other slayer’s bounties for him to steal.
Boss’s frown deepens, “nothing yet. The knights have been notified and we’ve got a few local leaders keeping their ears open. Someone will hear something soon.”
It had been over a month, if no one had heard anything by now you did not have much hope of anything new coming to light. You didn’t have it in you to contradict the old man though. No one wanted to admit they had hit a dead end.
“Is that all we can do? Pass it over to the knights and wait until someone else gets hurt?” Kira’s frustrations mirror your own. You both had trained for years before being allowed your three-year apprentice ship. To put everything you had into protecting your kind and taking down criminals and then to not have the power to deal with a Mandalorian was maddening. Just waiting on someone else made you want to tear your hair out.

Heart to a Gunfight | Epilogue
Three months Later
“I don’t know about this, Bucky. I don’t think I can do it,” Your voice shook, doing nothing to hide the fact that you were trying your hardest not to cry, “It’s over.”
You felt like an idiot but leaned into him as he wrapped an arm around you. He rested his head on your shoulder, as the two of you stared at your car.
“I refuse to believe that,” He stated.
You sighed, “Cars this old don’t just die in the middle of the highway if they’re not headed to the scrap yard, Bucky.”
“Listen,” He moved in front of you so that you were looking into his eyes instead of at your car, “You want to know something?”
You nodded, not trusting yourself to speak. Your car had broken down on your way out of the city for a romantic weekend, and after a half hour of tinkering around under the hood, there wasn’t much you could do about it. At least not here. Even though you should have been disappointed by the way your weekend had started, your car was your main focus.
“It’s going to be fine,” He took your chin gently in his hand, guiding your gaze away from your car once again, “Do you know how I know that?”
You shook your head.
“Because I know the best mechanic in the city - no, in the state. And she’s going to be able to fix your car. Trust me.”
“What if she’s not?” You whispered, grabbing onto his bicep to steady yourself, “That car is the reason…I can’t lose…”
You couldn’t finish. You didn’t have to. He nodded, knowing exactly what that car meant to you. Bucky knew that your car was more than just a way to get from point A to B. That car had given you direction and you were terrified to even consider what it would mean if that car was no longer in your life. You loved the direction your life had taken recently. And as superstitious as it sounded, you were afraid that losing your car could somehow mess that up. Your car was your good luck charm and you didn’t want to know what would happen if your luck ran out.
Bucky pulled you into a tight hug, resting his head on yours.
“Then you’ll be okay,” He whispered, “Because I know that your car is not the reason you know where you’re going. You’re the driver, Speedy. You decide where it goes.”
“I guess,” You muttered, tightening your arms around his waist.
He gave you one more squeeze and pulled away with an encouraging smile, “And anyways, it’s a moot point because I know you’re going to be able to fix it.”
You took in a deep breath, rolled your shoulders back and nodded, “You’re right. It’ll be fine.”
He smirked, “Of course I am.”
You felt yourself begin to smile back, “Idiot.”
“We should probably call AAA though,” He said, pressing a kiss to your lips.
“Right,” You were glad for something to do to take your mind off the possible death of your car, “Where’s my phone?”
He shrugged and you began to pat yourself all over, worry rising up. You checked the car, but it was nowhere to be seen either. Then you remembered.
“Shit. It has to be on the counter at the apartment. I put it down for a sec…” You pinched the bridge of your nose, trying to stave off the headache that was creeping in, “Where’s yours?”
“Dead.”
You looked up at him, surprised.
He lifted up his palms, a sheepish look on his face, “I forgot to charge it and then forgot I couldn’t in your car. I didn’t think it mattered if we had yours.”
You sighed, “I’m sure we can flag someone down. They’ll lend us a phone.”
He nodded.
After a several failed attempts, to your relief, a white Audi began to slow.
“Does that car look familiar to you?” Bucky asked, tilting his head to get a better look.
You looked a little closer but couldn’t find anything spectacular about the car, “No. Why?”
“Oh, shit,” He ran his hand through his hair and you immediately knew you weren’t going to like what was about to happen.
Then you saw the woman sitting in the passenger seat. Of course. Because it couldn’t have been anyone else.
“Are you guys all right?” Brad shouted, leaning over so he could see you.
Bucky nodded, but didn’t approach the car, “We’re fine. The car a little less so.”
Brad appeared genuinely worried, “Anything we can do to help? You need a ride somewhere?”
“Maybe a scrap yard? Or a dealership?” You heard Kira mutter under breath.
All your feelings from the wedding came rushing back in and you forced yourself to keep your hands loose at your side. You didn’t need her seeing how her words affected you.
If Bucky heard her, he didn’t let on, “A cell phone would be helpful.”
“Take mine,” Brad said, stepping out of the car.
Bucky thanked him and walked around to the side to make the call.
With an annoyed sigh, Kira stepped out too.
“It’s lucky we came by,” Brad said, brows furrowed as if your troubles pained him too.
You had to wonder how Kira had managed to snag a guy as decent as Brad. But staring at him now, you knew you were never going to say anything about what happened at the wedding, no matter how much you wanted to. It wasn’t your place and the two of you didn’t know each other well enough for you to get involved. You only hoped that he would figure her out before they got married.
Bucky handed the cell back, “Thanks a lot, Brad.”
“You need us to wait, man?”
“No thanks,” Bucky shook his hand, “The tow will be here in about fifteen. We’re good.”
“Sure thing.”
You took the opportunity to pull Kira into a hug, pretending to thank her for her kindness.
She tried to pull away, but you held on and whispered into her ear, “I know what you did at the wedding. Karma’s a bitch. Enjoy waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
You let go and shot her a smile.
She returned it with a sneer of her own and you watched as they pulled away. Only when their car was out of sight did you feel yourself deflate.
As if sensing your sudden fatigue, Bucky leaned back against the car and pulled you close. You slid your hands around to the back of his neck and he rested his arms loosely around your waist. He pressed a long, lazy kiss to your lips.
“Hi,” He said when he pulled away.
You smiled, “Hi.”
He looked around and chuckled, “This is exactly the romantic weekend I had planned. You like it?”
“Oh yeah,” You nodded enthusiastically, “This is a great start.”
“This wasn’t part of the plan, but maybe once we get this thing towed, you can teach me a thing or two about cars. If you’re going to have to work this weekend - and I know you won’t just let some other mechanic do it without you - you might as well teach me something. I’ve always wanted a crash course from the sexiest mechanic in the state.”
“You’re such an idiot,” You laughed, feeling yourself loosen up for the first time since your car came to an unwanted stop, “I love you.”
You both froze.
Shit. You’d said that out loud. Judging by the intense look in his eyes, there was no chance that he hadn’t heard. It wasn’t that you didn’t feel it or didn’t want to say it…You’d just wanted to make sure that whatever was between the two of you was one hundred percent real. And it wasn’t like he’d said it yet either.
And now all he was doing was staring at you. What did that mean? Shit. What were you supposed to do now?
You were about to start babbling nervously to cover up your words, but he cupped your face and pulled you close, shutting you up with a strong kiss.
“I love you too, Speedy,” He said when you pulled away, breathless.
You smacked his arm, “Then why’d you wait so long before saying it back? You almost gave me a heart attack!”
“I barely waited two seconds,” He laughed, thumb brushing back and forth along your cheek, “And that was because the terrified look on your face made me wonder if you were going to pass out before I got the chance to say it back.”
“I was not terrified.”
He raised a brow.
“Was not,” You grumbled.
He pressed a quick kiss to your lips, eyes bright, “If I had known this is what needed to happen for you to say it, I would have gotten us stranded earlier. It’s a nice thing to hear, you know.”
You pulled back, “Wait. Is this all about you not wanting to say it first?”
“I have been wanting to say it for a bit now,” He admitted, looking down at his feet, “But I wanted you to say it when you were ready. Not because you felt like you had to say it back to me.”
“Well,” You started, pleased when his eyes found yours once again, "those words were all mine. And Bucky, I love you…Almost as much as I love my car.”
He laughed, hand going to his heart as if he’d been shot, “Ouch. I’ll have you know that one day I’ll beat out that car for first place, but for now, I love you too, Speedy.”
“It’ll be a pretty spectacular feat when that happens,” You replied with a grin.
“I’m not worried,” He said, the lazy smirk on his lips proof.
You lifted onto your toes, “Good thing for you that I like to take for the underdog.”
“Lucky me,” He mourned, lips finding yours.

A Little Party Never Killed Nobody
Derek Hale x Fem Reader
Summary: After exhausting events, you decide that it was time to have some fun for the pack. However, Derek seems to be in a bad mood and you try to make him jealous…
Words: 1.6k
Warnings: underaged drinking
You hadn´t thought Lydia would be the one to panic, however, you turned out to be wrong. Sighing to yourself, you wondered if it had been such a good idea after all. But now it was too late; you could the see the neon lights of club glowing from afar. It was a dark night in the early spring, the weather still cold at the late time you now arrived. You had taken it upon you, to organize a little night out for the pack and surprisingly, you had managed to talk everybody in joining. Plus, you knew the bouncer that was working there and with some cogency, he had promised you to let you and your friends enter the fairly famous club, even though some of them were underaged.
Well, besides you and Derek, they were all underaged. There was a weird feeling of mother protectiveness, but also a good amount of vodka aunt vibes, since you were excited to show them the clubbing life. You hadn´t expected for Derek to come, you had thrown the comment relentlessly in the room, guessing that he wasn´t going to be interested anyway.
You all shared two taxis, you together with Alison, Lydia, Kira and Malia and in the other one the boys with Scott, Stiles, Isaac and Derek. Unlike the boys, who were just picked up at Derek´s apartment, you had been getting ready together and shared a fair amount of wine already, making you a little tipsy.
“Y/n? Y/N are you even listening?” Lydia pulled you back into the reality after snapping with her fingers in front of your face. You shook your head, but then starred at her waiting to repeat her question. “What?”
“Are you sure that your bouncer is here today? And how did you exactly persuade him into letting us in?” Alison, who sat behind you, leaned forward, her head sticking out between you and Lydia. “Yeah what exactly did you do to persuade him? Is he cute?” She asked smirking and you heard Kira and Malia giggling. Lydia sighed and snapped against Alison´s head, who furrowed her eyebrows just to lean back again. “Don´t you dare”, she warned Alison. “Y/n is basically made to be with our sour wolf, everybody knows it!” You rolled your eyes, while giving the cab driver the money. Then you opened the door and hoped at first. “Derek and me are not made to be together, we are not even dating, never been and probably never will.” Lydia stepped out next and threw her hair back.
“Try to tell yourself as much as you want, but I see the way he looks at you.”
In the dim lighting in front of the club, they couldn’t see how you blushed and luckily for you, they dropped the subject since the boys arrived in the second taxi. You eyed the flask in Isaacs hand, which he unsuspiciously let glide back into his pocket again. They had been drinking as well.
There was a waiting row, it was almost always there and two bouncers waited at the entrance. Stiles made his way rather sloppily to you. “Y/n, that´s quite a row, you sure we´re gonna get in?”
You sighed. “You sound like your girlfriend.” “She´s not my… We´re not officially-“
“Calm down, Stiles, I´ve known that guy since kindergarten.”
Full of confidence and maybe a little liquor, you walked right past the waiting people, the rest of the pack slowly following you. Grinning you hugged Dimitri, the bouncer, and happy to see you, he lifted you off the ground a little. You had known Dimitri indeed since kindergarten, even though the both of you had moved away in school, only to come back in your early adult years.
“Y/n, so nice to see you!” Dimitri was more than a head taller than you, he had overly broad shoulders and dark, short hair. He eyed your friends. “That´s your pack?” He asked more quietly and you felt Scott tensing up next to you. You nodded grinning and he opened the door for you to enter. Gentleman like he firstly waved the girls, then the boys in. Last but not least Derek followed, but he didn´t seem convinced and starred angrily at Dimitri.
You had heard the loud bass from outside, but now the volume rose even more and the closer you got to the dancefloor, the more crowded the place became. Alison had taken lead and pulled you to the bar. “First round of shots is on me!”
After an hour, or maybe two later, you had lost track of time, you had talked a lot with your friends and mostly danced. Just then you realized that you didn´t see Derek anymore. You wondered if he had left, but there was no text from him. You left the dancefloor to go to the bar and have a look around. A strong hand around your arm stopped you from doing so. You didn´t know the man, but in the glowing lights of the club he looked attractive and about your age, as far as you could perceive. “Hey!” He greeted you, screaming closely to your ear in order to go against the loud music, you smiled subconsciously. “Hi!”
“Are you alone here?” You shook your head. “I´m here with my friends”, you nodded toward the group of people and he nodded still smiling. “Good, as far as I can see that, none of them is your boyfriend. Maybe you want to dance with me?” He grinned shyly and you blushed, but then you remembered Derek and your smile dropped. “You seem nice, but I´m looking for a friend of mine, maybe another time.” You explained smiling sadly and he nodded disappointed. He also knew it was polite way of saying no, however he seemed to accept it. “He must be special then.”
He added and then left within the crowd. Confused about his statement you watched him disappear, but then you made your way to the bar, where you had spotted Derek. He was sitting there rather lonely, a brown liquid half empty in front of him. You sat down on the stool next to him.
“Hey, I looked for you!” He shrugged, not looking in your eyes. “Why´s that?” His voice sounded harsh and if you hadn´t known better, also a little drunk. But you were to focused on your own thoughts, the words he said within the loud room and trying not to fall off the stool.
“I was worried about you!” You explained and he shrugged again, but finally he turned to look into your eyes. “Why don´t you go have fun with that boy?”
It hurt you the way he said it, the way his eyes looked hurt but his words stung more. “Fine!”
But all the stubbornness in your blood, decided differently. You jumped of the stool with a surprising amount of grace and found the guy in the crowd, who had previously asked you to dance. Without an explanation, you took his hand and lead him to the main dancefloor, making sure Derek had the perfect view on you. Fitting to the music you started moving your body, swaying your hips, your hands wandering to your hair. The boy, you didn´t actually know his name, maybe he had mentioned it and you had forgotten, adapted to your movements. Within a few moments, your bodies moved in sync and you felt the distance becoming less and less. He took your hand, spun you around, so your back moved against his chest. He then leaned down to somewhat whisper in your ear. “I thought you didn´t have a boyfriend.” You shrugged. “I don´t.”
“Well then he looks jealous enough to be your boyfriend.” You didn´t even bother to glance at Derek, his statement was enough and you guided his hands on the side of your hips.
Derek on the other hand, couldn´t hold back anymore. Scott and Alison had sat down next to him, but now they watched as he made his way through the crowd.
Derek grabbed your wrist, you hadn´t seen him coming and pulled you away. “Hey!” You wanted to protest, but he leaned to the guy. “Leave her alone!”, he growled, but you pulled your wrist back. “Derek! Leave him!” Surprise to find you on his side, Derek starred at you. Rolling your eyes, you shook your head. “I need some fresh air.”
There was a back terrace, where many people sat to smoke and a staircase lead down the club and offered a second exit. You heard his steps following you as you hurried down. When you reached the bottom, he had caught up to you. The music now echoed in the background.
“Y/n, wait!” “What Derek?! What is it that you have to ruin my night of perfect fun?”
He went quiet, avoiding your glance and eyeing the ground. “I´m sorry, it wasn´t my place to give you orders.” “Damn right it wasn´t!” You huffed, not allowing your voice to go down and continually starring at him. “You know, if you wanted to dance with me, you could just ask!”
He looked up. “You would like to dance with me?”
“Of course, you idiot!” “Even though I can´t dance?” You let out a rough laughter, letting your shoulders slightly drop and relax a little.
“I don´t care, you could hold onto my waist”, you explained growing a little shy again. He smiled and carefully grabbed your waist to pull you closer. “So, you wouldn´t mind if I did that?”
He leaned down and kissed your lips. You smiled and removed your lips from his again.
“Not if you´re gonna do it again.” Now he smiled as well and kissed you again, this time more passionately and his tongue glided against your lips until you let him enter.
“Y/N, DEREK!” You parted to look up to find Lydia on the terrace. “Hate to interrupt you, but Stiles is throwing up!”
You both sighed. “I told him to drink less”, Derek muttered. You took his hand and he followed you up the stairs again. “Next time we´ll go alone.”
